Only good thing about this match was watching Puscas play.

Milan's new stadium to be completed by 2018/19 season. This means we get to keep G. Meazza stadium. I think the design of Milan's new stadium looks bad. I guess they have to make it look like a regular building to keep the City code. I'm happy for them even 48,000 sounds small to me.

http://www.acmilan.com/en/news/show/155940
Milan averaged about 40,000 so I understand why they would opt for a 48,000 capacity stadium.
Oh god, why did Milan land Destro??? I would have loved if he came to Inter on loan.
http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11679/9686188/transfer-news-inter-milan-boss-roberto-mancini-hints-at-summer-bid-for-yaya-toure

I like the sound of that tbh. If City which imo seems likely that we will look for a Toure replacement come this summer, I would want him to come to Inter and work under Mancini. Yaya would add loads of experience in the MF and Serie A isn't as demanding physically as it is in the PL and Yaya might have gone down a few levels physically but he would thrive in the Serie A. Just like how Pirlo added that much needed quality in Juve MF once he joined they want on to win the Serie A titles. A team needs that experience and quality and I would welcome the idea of Yaya joining.

I like the idea of Mancini wanting three champions next season. I'd like it to be an experienced MF like Yaya, a top consistent goalscoring ST like Balotelli or Destro who will work well under Mancini and quality CB that is a step up to Rannochia and Juan.
Hopefully Inter put 7 past Sassuolo!

cheers Spigy!
Watched the game against Empoli, very dull performance and lazy as well. Didn't really understand our need to play long balls throughout the game considering we could have played out from the fullbacks and so one. It just felt like it was too obliviously that the team was trying to feed Icardi and couldn't really think of anything else to do. Not to mention the strange substitions of Icardi coming off for Kova when Icardi looked like the guy that could very much score and Podolski for Shaqiri when Hernanes should have come off considering he had a poor game. Although its a draw and one point has been gained, on to the next one.

In the future I could see us playing a strong 4-1-4-1 formation with the team we have.

Ambrosio - Rano - Vidic/Juan - Dodo
------------Medel--------------
Shaqiri - Kova - Hernanes/Guarin - Podolski

i thought they again played a 3-4-3 formation... weird but that's the same way they played against Genoa and it worked that time but Empoli really brought their A game and outclassed Inter! too bad really, had they been more clinical upfront or had a better striker, they could've deservedly walked away with the full points! i think he brought on Kova and Shaq to cover the flanks in a 4-1-4-1 formation with Palacio up front, but i liked how Mancini set up the team against samp today, with a 4-2-3-1... if only Herna and Guarin were as good in defending as Medel and Kuz, we fans would be in for some good games!... the problem with a 4-1-4-1 formation is that Shaq is more of a AM and Podolski more effective as a striker and Kova isn't used to being played out wide as Iniesta or Silva not to mention the fact that Podolski and Palacio are too similar, if Mancini had for instance Milner then perhaps that formation could work, however now that Podolski is in the team, i can see why Mancini would be desperate for Lucas and Suarez... in all honesty I wouldn't be surprised if Inter sold Icardi if they got a good price and they brought in 2-3 good players that would improve the squad and in my opinion, this team still lacks a winger that could defend and attack on the left side...
You make a good point. Shaq is a AM and Podolski is more effective playing as a forward. In that case, I don't mind seeing Icardi get sold. Only if the price is fair and imo at 21 years of age and shown lots of potential he should be worth 30mil or plus. I could see Inter making moves for either Kono or Depay type of winger that could really help this team considering we still don't have a real wingers and a DM of the likes of Lucas or Suarez. The team would save on money when they cut players like M'Vila and Osvaldo.

Kono and Depay remind me of Shaq and Podo! perhaps Kono wouldn't be a bad idea to have in the team considering depay is similar to Podo! and once Podo's loan finishes, depay could be an option for the summer... there is a reason why Icardi's price tag could be so high and that's because of lack of strikers that are similar to him, maybe Dybala and Destro come close but Roma and Palermo won't let go of them for cheap even if Icardi shows greater talent... i would probably haggle liverpool to include balo in a deal if their interest in icardi is true and get them to fork out enough to cover for what Roma are asking for Destro or get enough of his sale to buy Dybala and Vietto... just read that Inter signed Brozo so I guess M'Vila's time at the club is up and maybe for Kuz too, just wondering what'll become of Herna and Guarin? and does that mean Suarez, Susic and Lucas are out of the equation now?
I have heard great things about Brozovic and tbh for 6mil that sounds like a steal price considering Arsenal wanted him as well. 22 years old from Dinamo Zagreb, the club produced Kovacic imo produces some top notch Croatian talent. I think maybe because the Lucas deal was shut down by Rodgers and Suarez might stay in Atletico might have caused this situation. I don't know if they might come in but Brozo is in for M'Vila and I don't see another DM coming in with Medel also part of the team. Now I'm hearing Kuz is linked with Hamburg for 4.5mil, I don't mind although he has been affective lately.

Also the reason why I wanted Depay is because he reminds me more of Hulk rather then Podolski. His way faster then Podolski and can land a number of goals and crosses with his his ability to cut inside and dribble very well. Not to mention his strong as well and the perfect player play out on counter attacks. As for Herna I would sell him in the summer while his worth something because his been a disappointing this season and probably send him back on cash + player deal for Ganso and sell Guarin to another club to fund for a move for another striker if Liverpool sign Icardi and we get Balotelli in return.
Ganso + Balo + Depay + extra striker? for Herna, Guarin and Icardi? not a bad deal! Bozo was a holder for Croatia and even showed some more maturity than Kova in the wc but kinda felt bad for him when his arrival didn't have as many fans as there where for Podo and Shaq but he has time to prove and adapt to Inter and perhaps even a better option compared to M'Vila... Lucas and Suarez have been putting in some impressive shift of recently and both Liverpool and At. Madrid will need them till they can find replacements for them and they're the type of playes where it's better for a big club to have them as subs than not at all... well, unless they themselves force their club to release them as with Podo and Shaq and to be honest it'll only damage their career in the long run because it'll be hard for them to find a better or another opportunity to play for another big club once their current deals end... as for Kuz, he has been much brighter than Herna and at times even Guarin so I can see why Mancini would be hesitant with that kind of price tag, unless Lucas or Leiva become available and Hamburg fork out the same amount as Inter did for Brozo then maybe... too bad At. Madrid or Liverpool aren't interested in Medel...
I like the fact that Inter signed him. Inter need to get a head of others clubs and jump on young talent before bigger clubs get to them.

---Shaqiri-Icardi-Podolski---
it was nice to see palacio going again in their last game! and it showed how much he means to this team, played better than our new signing podolski! and i can understand why mancini would hold off shaqiri as he could be an added 'joker' and help change a game just by going on the field... and once he understands what mancini wants from him, he could be an option... as for defence, this team lacks players and it showed when inter had to defende! on the bright side, Vidic showed some great skills and a good head in how he dealt with Matri and Medel helped out in defence really well... Empoli should be a good opponent to see how well the team are doing and if they can improve on their last performance against an away team that are up for relegation this season!
Capitano is back!
Well I'm glad at the least the attacking aspect of the game for Inter seems to be taken care of because the team had many departments of problems. Now I would only hope Ranno/Juan/Vidic can be enough for the back line until the summer the teams needs two new CBs and at least 2 FBs. Its just after watching the team for a long time, the guys we have now aren't good enough to wear Inter is trying to head to in the future. I could see Juan/Ranoo here next season because Ranno is the captain unless he gets replaced next season and Juan Jesus is only 23 but the rest need to go apart from Dodo.

My ideal CBs would be big muscle man like Dede (who still plays in Brazil) and a center back that's good with the ball and quicker than Rannochia.
too bad about lavezzi but palacio/podolski should be a good combo to replace him and hopefully shaqiri lives up his hype and doesn't become a new quaresma... palacio and podolski did well against juve and not so well against genoa but palacio played to his usual level perhaps thanks to the work done by podo... it'll be up to mancini it's easy to get a lift when things are going well and put in a shift but since there is time until the end of the season it'll be clear how consistent they can be... too bad about krhin, he hasn't looked like himself and and looks drain on the field... was expecting big things from him! lol dede? i'd say Varane would be my favourit type defender at this moment, too bad that we also missed out on Zouma as they look like a pair that'll do well for france in the future and gimenez of at. madrid looks like another talent we missed out! kinda sad italy aren't longer producing any talented defenders but Ranoch only needs work on his balance and speed and he could be a good captain for inter and were inter get an offer of 15 for juan i wouldn't mind if he was sold as he won't take kindly to sitting on the bench as Ranoch would...
Have you seen Dede play? The guy is strong, fast, wins ariel duels, commits to challenges and clears the ball well in tough situations. He also pushes the team forward from the back as well and I think he'd be a perfect fit for Inter. The only offset is that his on a expensive deal over at Cruzerio which is troubling.

Hopefully come the summer window Inter don't miss out on good deals because I've seen one to many good deals fly past Inter.
some of the new signings are having effect on the team already, it's been a mix of good and bad and the game against empoli will really test mancini, we'll see if he cracks as Benitez, Gasp and lastly Maz but he has been smart with isolating m'vila and osvaldo but considering he wants such big changes there could be more in his firing line-up and more tension that could effect the team further!
