Big game this weekend, how you guys feeling?
Another win in the bag boys! Lets hope Fiorentina loses to Roma.

why do i keep seeing dollar signs whenever i look at handa? also palacio was again pure class today, kovacic should develop to be a fine player if he continues to improve on his tactical awareness, as i thought he did well tracking back and covering for the back three... and uhm... nice to see mr guarin finding the back of the net
I agree, Kovacic tracked back well today which I didn't think he would do but he did well. Handa is always trustworthy and Palacio is a class act. Guarin goal was something though, he might be one of the most inconsistent player I've seen but when he scores a goal, he can score some damn good ones.
Finally the prayers of the Birds have been answered.None of them were killed by Guarin today.

Would you guys want Mazzari out? I admit he's done ok, not good or bad. but i think for the future we need a more exiting manager who knows how to utilize players like kovacic more often before he leaves due to frustration...hopefully not another lost gem just like coutinho.

like also at Napoli he managed to get 2nd or 3rd a few times, but ultimately the gap between napoli and 1st place was huge, and this is what i mean about getting an exiting manager. mazzari is too cautious for a big club like Inter.
Yes, I would. Their are some great young open minded managers who know how to utilize and bring the best out of what they are working with. The thing I hate about Mazz is that he thinks Inter are Napoli and brings his philosophy that worked for Napoli and tries to get Inter into it but its not possible if you don't have those quality players playing for you, hence playing three in the back! It worked in the first half of the season we looked promising and strong but when you need him bend a little and change things up, he sticks with the same thing over and over again. Opponents now what to expect from us. His tactics are off as well, I mean why not play Kovacic or Alvarez more often. Kovacic is a talent and he needs to play more and more to gain confidence and excel, why did we lose Coutinho? We never put that trust and let him flourish and play more. Alvarez who played so good in the first half is rusty now because we played Guarin ahead of him even when Guarin was playing badly.

I'm thinking long term and I don't think its Mazz. Mazz has already disappointing me and everyone. Although I want to see what he is capable of doing next season when we have some new additions and quality talent in the team.
I think Inter deserves the 5/6th spot, I don't think we could do much more this season. However I tend to agree with Moe...I'd for another coach who banks on youngesters. Mazzarri has been playing 20 matches with only one striker and plenty of hardworking midfielders like Taider or Kuzmanovic. It took a while for him to understand that this tactic was wrong and, as you can see, we are now playing with 2 strikers and Kuzmanovic and Taider don't see the field anymore (many supporters on this page never understood why Mazzarri reverred these players so badly)
juve seem the only team in serie a to be able get the best of the 3 in the back formation and they have the players too boost, perhaps missing a quality right wb and two world class cb to fill up the backline along with chiell or perhaps one world class cb with bonucci and chiell to become a top club amongst europes elite but as for us we just don't have the players... perhaps id rate maz if he invested on our potential players and i would've given him credit had he succedd with it but if he insist on playing safe and using what we have and trying to get them to play the way he wants then he'll just leave this club and blame the manage as all of our previous managers have done... gasp and benitez most notibly... whilst strama and ranieri have been gentlemen about their situation... we'll see what maz comes with... and by the end of the day it's the club that'll hurt the most... moratti has already sold the club as a result, will also thohir come to ditch us if he things don't change for better?
I'm positive Thohir will not ditch our club. He seems very positive about the future and knows what Inter needs players wise and don't need. Rather then make the fans wait he addresses the fans.

Late to the party. Very busy with exams, but I must say im glad Icardi has started showing what hes got. The boy is a beast. Forza Inter!

http://www.footytube.com/news/guardian/internazionale-confirm-interest-in-signing-fernando-torres-from-chelsea-L30545?ref=hp_tbox

So its not much of a rumor anymore. Torres is an option that Thohir might want to head towards. The problem is his not a goal machine anymore, he lacks that killer finish that he had when he was at Liverpool. What also bugs me is that Inter cannot be serious about matching his wages, 160,000 a week for a man who to this day has made 106 apps for Chelsea and only managed 19 goals in almost 4 seasons is not worth that kind of money.

Tbh, I don't even want him here. I know Altetico is also interested and they can sign him if they want to but if his not going to take a salary cut then their no point in going in for him. Also even if we managed to sign him, I wouldn't trust him as our top choice man, 3rd striker on the team. If were bringing in a third striker we need someone who can score goals consistently with height, CF who can score of crosses.
just can't imagen torres and vidic in the same team! if we can get him on loan with option of buying him on a low cost, or perhaps the same kind of ingenuity galliani did with essien, we'd be coming away with a player that carries a golden name, the fact he has scored so many goals in so many games and we're still talking about him... it can really mean a win-win if he signs a contract with clauses, also if he has a good wc with spain then all the more reason to get him now before then... worst case? we'd have torres on the bench? beats having rocchi there, anyday!
You make a good point. Players like Vidic and Torres bring golden names here, a certain level of value to this team that needs it. A loan move could perhaps work, that would void us from taking the risk of spending lots to sign him and give us the chance on getting him on a cheap option when we buy him at the end of next season. He has 2 season left to play out with Chelsea, if we get him on a loan now and buy him for a much cheaper value, Chelsea will be bound to sell him. He makes big figures annually and really contributes nothing almost all season. Surely Cheslea will want to get rid of him.

The problem here for me is that I don't trust him to be our go-to striker next season. As much as I'd love to say his scored so many goal in the past his really not done much now and we are getting the Torres of now not back then. Idk how his going to function in Serie A and he could turn into a gem tbh. Look at Gervinho, he was considered the biggest flop for Arsenal in his 2 seasons but since arriving at Roma his a completely different players so their is that case of uncertainty because no one will know how Torres will turn out to be in Serie A.

Although if he is brought in next season and no other striker is, then we need to strengthen our MF big time! Like I mean massive reshuffling going on because you can't have successful goalscorers if you don't have a good MF force providing for them. You goalscorers are only as good as the service their getting. I don't mind if Torres comes about to Inter but then we need to focus on our MF and DF in the summer because we already now that Palacio and Icardi can find the back of the net now we just need to put the puzzles together.
please not torres, he's completely lost it. if torres comes we will sub icardi...so much for our youth
I cringe everytime I see Coutinho score knowing we lost a great player.

Its sad really, I wish we could have sold anyone but him. Inter never gave him 20+ starts in a season but Liverpool gave him that and believed him. We should have given him a bigger role in the club knowing his talent and worth but we needed money so it was a tough thing to do. Although just imagine Icardi, Kovacic and Coutinho! Wow what a talent of trio that would be.
+1
Feel the same way with Yaya Toure and Ibrahimovic :/
palacio - man of the match for me, he made it look effortless tonight!
All we need is one other striker and we are set. Icardi is a gem and Palacio is a hardworking machine. Both need to be here next season. Shout out to Alvarez for his energetic performance after coming on.

The whole team put one a good performance. Its weird the one time Guarin is not playing and we win by a mile.
+1
lol yeah yeah! my man guarin is gonna come through in the next match!
It's not weird, it is because Guarin is worse than many other midfielders we have. Playing Guarin intead of Kovacic/Alvarez has been a suicidal move for most part of this season
Once they were bros, then Icardi pulled a John Terry, and Lopez is now the Wayne Bridge of Italy.

after icardis performance tonight we should hire maxi to stand at the end of every team greetings!

Honestly I can understand both Maxi and Icardi after he had been booed for almost the whole match by his former supporters. And showing the ear isn't like killing someone
nowadays every player needs a sign or a signature move to set them apart from other players but that infidelity sign he posted of him on twitter, was down right disrespectful!
Wow you guys did pretty well against Samp Icardi definitely has some good potential
+1
Bad defending. Handa saved so many chances. It is great to see Icardi become the striker we all envisioned. D'Ambrossio was bad as usual.
Icardi is defensively top notch and I hope he keeps scoring until the end of the season. His going to be a big star in the future and we need more young talent like him.

D'Ambro, I'm just losing it with him. His just another signing we made that's well again just average. He was a decent player at Torino but since signing for Inter his just been poor. Maybe he just needs more time but his going to have step it up.
From what I saw, D'ambrosio did pretty well.
Icardi did well, Palacio did well. D'ambrossio was terrible. All his crosses went over and out to the other side. His passing was bad. He never managed to dribble past any player. For the most part, he just back passes or side passes and disappear. He was missing for good portions of the game.
In short, compare his performance to his opposite number Nagatomo on the other side of the field.

I will give him one thing, he can defend. Besides that he is grossly under-performing.
