Inter is back.
Still early days but hoping for a good season.
Nope!
lol! didn't even know there was a mid-week game but it goes to show that specially mid-table teams will not only face inter prepared but that much harder to beat during game play if results are going their way, the fact inter were flying so high might give other teams the impression of inter being a strong team, Juve are really good at taking advantage of that as teams will either rise to the challenge or collapse before the game even starts, Bologna grew in confidence and Inter will have to set the pace and not be overtaken or surprised with teams like Bologna coming up against them at least in this part of the season....
I watched the match, honestly, Bologna could have finished scored 3-4 goals and ended the game on the spot as Inter where struggling to get anything in the opening half. Bologna where just playing some inspired football. In the second half, Inter had chances but still struggled to finish and at the end, got really lucky with a dodgy PK call.

Going forward some mid table teams will be tougher than others and Inter have expect teams to fight back but letting the other teams dictate the game as Bologna did, was really bad. It could be the fact that Inter have been playing such high intensity football, so I wonder when Spa will rotate the front 3 because mid week games, away are going to strain some players.
Moussa Sisioko on a loan deal. Not a bad move. Looks like Jojo is off to Monaco and we need another winger. Would much rather have him then spend 25-30mil on Keita Blade. Mustafi deals seems like its going to go through, which is good news. Mangala desperately wants to join Inter on loan to make the WC 2018 team for France but I don't know if where going to sign him if Mustafi joins us.
Both Jojo and Keita off to Monaco, also Barbosa out on loan with Karam coming in, they've decided to keep the team impact as much as possible with Kondo the surprise departure, I think this year will be Icardi's with him Candreva and Peri both getting a solid season with him and Spa known for getting the most out of his strikers and him getting now regular call up to the national team and playing alongside the likes of Di Maria and Messi
Its a solid team and we don't have UCl/EL so the team can have as much rest as possible and focus on every game that comes. With the intensity Inter now play with, those breaks are going to come in handy for us while others have to European football.

I'm fairly happy with the team and maybe we can see a few academy players get some chances like Pina and Vanheusden. I'm feeling really positive about this season.
The fact they started so well helps with the feeling of positivity but had they drawn or lost against Roma, it would've been a huge backlash, there were already talk about how Inter haven't spend as much as Milan and how most of these players already failed to deliver from last season under Pioli, still it's nice seeing the team at the top of the table and I'd wait untill the derby in October as the games inbetween won't have that much of an effect on the top of the half table more than Inter themselves losing points or failing to capatalise when other top half teams lose their games againsts smaller teams...
Turned it off after seeing Inter struggling to get a good pass into the box during the first half, thought it was going to be one of those games. Turns out, Inter won by 3 goals. Lol! I'll have to catch the highlights.
Lol you have been one of the die hard ones here. Wouldn't expect you doing that.haha
^ I just thought it was going to be one of those games, Roma looked so dangerous and the one time I turn it off, the team gets a huge win lol!
Now you know how to make us win. haha
It's so easy, just turn off the TV and come back 1 hour later to enjoy the score line. I would do that if I had that power. LOL
Lol, I'm actually reading about Mustafi and deal could happen. Would be insane if it did because his a solid CB.

Mustafi has agreed to join us, clubs must agree on a deal. Most likely a loan with a chance to sign on permeate deal in the near future. Would be a steller move as his a beast of a CB capable of playing in a back 4 or a back 3. Not sure about Mangala anymore but can't believe Wenger is letting him go.

As for attackers. If we don't get Schik, its Keita Balde coming. I do want Schik but the team really does needs another winger.
Inter playing with so much more intensity, its great to watch. I know its only Viola who lost a ton of players but Inter looks well set up. Although were going to need a few more players because I don't see our players playing like this every game, especially Canderva/Perisic. We still don't have alternatives for them.
+1
Borja was pure class, it also helps that him and Vecino already have an understanding but was surprised by the many missed placed passes by Brozo, D'Ambro and Nago, lost interest of the game at the 60 min, Viola are still at their pre-season work out but Dias looked like an exciting player plus a couple of more that looked good sporadically, however Pioli will need to gel them together quickly to get the best of them, eitherway next up is Roma and it'll be a game between the coaches as Icardi, Peri, Candreva and Borja along with Mira looked in good shape, don't know about Roma as I read it took a Kolarov free-kick to win their game, let's hope Spa knows his old team well and can get this Inter to beat them comfortably without being suprised by Francesco...
Yeah, Brozo did struggle during the game but I hope he can shake it off, we seriously need him. Overall, I have confidence that we can get a result at Roma.

With the transfer window done in less than 10 days, I wonder if Spa will make a few more moves? Emre Mor deal fell apart, I want to see another attacking MF/winger coming in.

As for incoming players, Cancelo has joined on loan, Kondo heading the other way. Glad to have someone who can deliver in attack as he will be needed.
It'll be interesting as I read Mustafi was on Inter's radars along with Mangala, so I'm guessing a switch to 3 at the back, as Dalbert and Cancelo will most likely be effective in that formation but also that Cancelo can act as a RW, perhaps a direct replacement for out going Candreva? read everyone are waiting on the Mbappe deal as that could trigger a few merry-go-around transfers and if Man U come knocking with a big bid, we could see a wingers arriving at Inter... also Brozo is again being linked with Juve, with Marchisio's surprise link with Milan, I'd trade those two in a heart beat, could be what Inter are lacking in midfield, I personally would love to see Ramsey of Arsenal, as he is just pure class of AM, he could thrive at Serie A much like Hamsik or if we were mega rich like PSG, Eriksen or even Iniesta thinking of change of scenario but I'd imagen half of the world's richest clubs would love to have him at their club as commercial merchandise...
Inter won't land Mustafi and tbh I want Canderva to stay, his been top quality for us and will come handy, the window is closing soon and unless Inter already have a top replacement in mind, he should not go. In fact, having both Cancelo and Canderva will come very handy considering both complement each other and can rotate roles during the game.

Looking at the window, wish we can get a n10, Spa did say he will play a 4-2-3-1 next season, but I think Inter really lack a n10 and Idk how Brozo will preform, he has his stints where his does really well a number of games then turn invisible for months on end.

On other news, Inter could bring back Alfred Duncan. Would be really nice, his grown so much since he left Inter a while ago. Perfect Kondo replacement.
Elaiquim Mangala will come in on a season loan. Not a bad move. Mira/Skrin are the starters without a doubt, both did well together in pre-season but Mangala will be a good cover and can play in a back 3 without a problem.

If reports are true, Joao Cancelo will also come in on a season loan with Kondogbia going the other way.
Was surprised with how much Mangala went for when arriving at City, never really looked comfortable as CB and with how fluid football Guard likes to play, Mangala is too rigid, isn't he also arriving at Inter so that he can get a chance to be called up for the WC? not gonna happen if he is playing second fiddle to Skrin and Mira? Also with Ansaldi and D'Ambro also more than comfortable with playing 3 at the back, he might see his appearances limited but it might be a good chance for Skrin to play with a CB similar to him as he is robust and strong, even if Mira is no joke as CB, he doesn't come close to the body strength of Skrin and Manga...

Cancelo gets a lot of berating for his defensive skills, also doesn't help he can easily be taken off the ball, however his touch with the ball is world class and if it's true that he has potential it'll come down to if it's a gamble worth taking on him, 30 mil is a lot but they have a year to test him out, let's hope it won't be another Montoya, who took over spot from Cancelo!...
Mangala struggles against the fast tempo of the PL, his a good CB and did a good job at Valencia, saving them the blushes in plenty of games. Even in pre-seaosn, he was still very good for us. Pep just wants a ball playing left footed CB and Mangala is the odd man out. If Mangala can find his stride and he can very consistent and even challenge Mira for the starting spot. I really hope Mangala proves himself but his just the other kind of CB Inter could use.

As for Cancelo, I like the fact that his a good attacking player but his defensive game does really let him down. If were playing a flat back 4, I can't see Dalbert and Cancelo start on the FB positions together, both will leave Inter's defense wide open for counter attacks. Although if were playing a 3, Dalbert and Cancelo will be such a deadly combo at the wing-back positions. Either way, we have a season to decide if his worth the money.
Inter holding talks with Serge Aurier. Lets see if this deals come through, would be really nice to end this long search for FBs.

Gary Medel has signed for Bestikas.

Now rumors are Murillo will leave, just not to the PL team. Is Inter going to sign another CB? IF Ranocchia leaves, Muri leaves and Gary left, someone is certainly coming in at the back.

Kondogbia skips training, yup. I'm sure the dude is going to be sold now.
I'd imagen teams from BPL are looking at him but with his case, he might not even get the chance to play there but at Italy, he can really step up his game and with Maicon stepping into the shoes of Zanetti, look at what it did for his career, it would do the world and boost his image if Aurier took over the mantle of Maicon, once named th best RB in the world... untill a certain young Bale made him eat dust...

Shocking how Kondo skipped training, they overpaid for him but atleast respect the contract of your current club? Regardless if they decide to sell you or not, it's no joke the amount of money players get, I'd gladly sit on bench out of my whole career to even get 1/10 of his salary!

I actually liked Sanchez of Ajax but clubs are jacking up the price of sought after players, hoping to take advantage of any bidding war and the rise of value in the coming seasons but now could be an opportunity to fish for player like Sab did with Fazio for Roma, a flop at Spurs but looked revived at Roma...
I do agree, Serge would explode in Serie A, pace and strength alone makes him so lethal.

As for Kondo, I've said this before and I'll say it again. His never really looked settled at Inter. If a good deals comes, sell him off. Honestly, its become a trend for footballers to skip training just to get sold off. My dream was to become a back up goalkeeper lol for my whole career, would never complain and wouldn't miss training ever.

As for that Ajax Colombian CB, Davidson Sanchez. I watched him against Utd. His big, strong, really quick for a big man and can dribble the ball with no fear. I do really like him, I don't know if going to the PL would be a smart choice. The pace can really scare a lot of CBs, especially at 21.
Much will depend on the team Sanchez ends up at, he is good with his feet and is used to grabbing that old goal and with his pace, all he needs to do is adapt to the pace of the league and rythm of the movements of his team, he could do well, considering how at ease he is at Ajax without looking like he trying so hard, just needs that grit and put good use to his pace...

Read Cancelo might become an option if Kondo does leave the club but I doubt Sab will let himself be bullied into selling one of his players...

with Shick most likely to arrive for atleast 30 mil and Sab wanting a new CB or two, this is were it might be interesting to see how the club handles out-going player fees versus in-coming players fees...
Schik would be a great move. He offers something Icardi doesn't. A big strong forward that can dribble and weave his way past defenders and just overall comfortable on the ball. Imagine both him and Icardi playing up top together?

Considering Kondo cost 30mil+, if his going to be shipped out, at least Inter needs a decent return on him. His still only 24 and has lots of potential. If the right offer doesn't come, then we can hold on to him for another season.

As for RB. I've seen Cancelo, his not much of defender at all. Not worth the money or the hype. I would rather see someone else brought in because we would still leak goals in, we need someone who can deal with both ends of the field.
The move for Caen winger Karamoh has broken down. Seems like our next target is Riyhad Mahrez as Roma are out of the race for him. He will cost a fortune. A big risk if he doesn't work out but his still Mahrez and a top class player but I know the price will be 50mil, although considering no one is in the running for him and Leicester do want to offload him, 40-45mil at minimum.

Emre Mor, signed on a loan deal. Dalbert is a done deal having signed a 5 year, 25mil deal.
Mahrez for 55? Leic must be desperate, the one that can give the best opinion of him is Ranieri, an honest manager and he always said that Mahrez still had a long way to go, I'd offer 50 for the likes of Mata whom has been consistent with their performance and internationally proven champions and that would still be too much!, isn't Mor similiar to Mahrez also? I'll be more interested in the outgoing players for now, as there is talk of Shick again but also Berardi if Candreva leaves along with Martial for Peri... don't understand the hype around Keita as Mertens had a better breakthrough season than him and 30 mil isn't a steal for a player of his caliber...
No way Canderva or Peri will leave unlesss a crazy bid comes in. They both had a great pre-season and are important to the Spa set-up that has gotten us playing some good football in pre-season.

I think Emre Mor is good enough to play on the left side and now Spa is looking for someone else on the right side which explains the Mahrez rumors. Not to mention we still also have Jovetic and it looks like Brozo might play higher up the field because I'm sure Spa will look to play Vecino, Valero and Gagli in the holding positions. Although he could alternate with Joao Mario also at the club and his much better in more advanced positions.

Mahrez won't happen but a few more nice purchases will do. I think Spa has done well in targeting some good players. I'm glad we didn't sign Keita, his been rumored to have a bad attitude and Martial has no interest joining us.
No mention of Kondo? so he really is set to leave? It would be too much of an ask to expect Candreva and Peri to play a hold season on the wings and players that they can rotate with and can offer competition would be welcome, Mahrez is quick and perhaps would suit Serie A with his technique but Leic seem intent on keeping him and are asking for ridiculous amount of money to ward off suitors, didn't Kante go for less than 50 mil? Never heard of Mor before so maybe the next wide player will be another surprise player... talking about bad attitude, keeping reading about the good news of Aurier being linked to the club, maybe this year we might comment of a game without inter fans lamenting the FBs...
Hard to keep up with these stories. One day Muri is close to leaving to Valencia, now his reporting for training. Idk if Kondo will leave or not, if he does I don't think Spa will be bothered at all. If he stays, his got to fight for it.

I'm sure Spa is trying to pull off some good moves. Although yeah, it would be welcomed to see a speedy winger with good technique join our side, I guess where just going to have to wait and see what happens.
It's been one hectic transfer window, not often you get to see so many big name players being linked with a move and clubs spending so much that the craziest rumour could be true! There will surely be a lot to talk about once the season kicks off but we can't forget that Serie A has now 4 spots for CL, let's hope the team doesn't suffer too much and end up chasing 4th whilst hoping teams above them lose points, better to consolidate and keep a tight hold of any CL spot they manage to get...
It will be another fail season if Spa can't manage to get a UCL spot. It will come down to chemistry and consistency. Last season if the big players didn't step up, we often lost. Now we really need everyone to step up and I like that Icardi has been playing less in pre-season, I want to see what the team can do without him. The team really does rely on him too much to win us games, we need others to have a steller season to get a UCL place.
Yann Karamoh of Caen in Ligue 1 is linked to us as his club confirmed his leaving them. From what I've seen of the 19 year old, his a goal-scoring right winger which is needed badly.

Hopefully the Dalbert deal will be finalized soon because other teams are sniffing around for him.

Two young players with lots of potential is a good move on Spa. I can see him still wanting at 2 more experienced players, one more in MF and maybe another one in attack, maybe at the back even.
Also Emre Mor set to join Inter on loan from Dortmund.
never heard of Mor before but i read he was once considered a wonderkid, never really took off at BD for him, plagued by injuires mostly and its also a first with Karamoh, the the clips I've seen of him, he looks really talented and with right amount of work he could become a good solid investment for the future, don't know why Inter are holding off the Dalbert deal, perhaps because of the EU spot? there are other options available? to lower the demand and get the best deal possible? but this waiting game might hurt them as they've already lost D. Costa and Bernardeschi to Juve
Emre never really got much playing time at Dortmund. I want to see him do well, if Dortmund are willing why not sign him. It will all depend on how he plays, no denying his an exciting player when his on the field.

Looks like the Dalbert deal is done, I'm hearing 18 to 20mil. His medical is Tuesday. Looks like his finally going to join.

Kondogbia has asked to leave Inter. No surprise, never really got the best out of him. That own goal, really shot his confidence. For the 31mil Inter got him for, would be nice to see at least a 25mil return on him. Jeison Murillo rejected other PL teams to make a move to Valencia for 13.5mil. With Skrin/Mira as the first choice, wondering if Rannochia will leave as well. Spa seems to want him to stay and I do to.
It's difficult to judge a player after just one season but let's hope Dalbert continues on the track set up for him by the club, personally I'd gone for Kwadwo Asamoah and Cuadrado from Juve, both of those players have been playing at the fringes of the club and with tha arrival of Costa and Berna, they're down the pecking order, they'd bring in a lot of experience and wealth of confidence if they were to arrive at Inter...

Kondo must be very fragil if an own goal hits him like that, as for Ranoch it's more understandable losing the captaincy and the respect of the dressing room, he'd be a welcome stay but he'll need the support of the whole dressing room and not just the coach...
Well with Kondo, you have to remember all the hype surrounding him before he joined us. During his last season at Monaco he was linked to every big club, he was playing so well in UCL and bossed Arsenal out of the R16 and was making a case as a regular for France. After he signed for Inter, his never really lived up to it although tbf to him, Inter hasn't never really a good environment to develop at. Its time for him to move on and go elsewhere.

I do want Asamoah, I'm a big fan of him and Cuadrado would solve many problems for us. Both are so versatile and bring experience, we need more of those types of players but it would be hard to get them.

As for Ranoch, if he leaves, I respect his decision, tbh he wasn't bad at all Hull and if a PL club come in for him, he should take it.
Valencia want Ansaldi and Murillo. If both moves happen, which tbh, seems likely. I do think Spa will keep Ranoch and Skrin will play a vital role for Inter this upcoming season.

No lie, If PSG offload players like Rabiot and Krych to sign Neymar, I want them both at Inter. I do sell Kondo as well to make room for both. Would really strengthen the MF and Valero, Brozo, Gagli, Rabiot and Krych along with Joao Mario would be an awesome mix in MF.
From what I've read Inter are dealing with both PSG and Valencia, read loads of names being involved but mostly Di Maria and Aurier and with Valencia for Joao Cancelo, I'm guessing much will depend on who arrives and who will leave, Vecino looks likely to come so Krych is out of the picture and Aurier looks set for Man U so they might sell Kondo to Valencia and throw in Muri to lower the price tag for Cancelo, it'll be more clear in mid-august with surprise deals concluded towards the end of the market...
Oh, I didn't read about Vecino at all. I guess that's settled then.

No way do I want to see Cancelo. His not worth the money, would take Serge Aurier all day, if not I would spend money elsewhere. His just too much of an attacking player and very weak defensively. At times Valencia played him a winger because of it. I hope Juve tie him down, I don't want to see him at Inter.

Lets just wait I guess. I do want to see a few primavera players promote though, very impressive youngsters on the team. Zinho Vanheusden is a player I want to see in the near future, almost every top club wants the young Belgian, should be loaned out to develop, as well as Federico Valietti who I think is a good young FB. Good on both ends of the pitch has some pace in him.
