Come on boys! Get a win against Dnipro!
what a game, have to hand it to dnipro, they deserved to get something out of it! Handa and a couple of offsides really saved this game for inter but they seemed to play a bit more 'natural' then before and besides a couple of players being late and out of position, the flow of their game was good, a good improvement from previous game and i'm surprised that mancini has managed to get so much out of players like obi and kuz who hasn't played much! also dodo seems so fragile, it's only been two matches and the guy looks like he went through 3 rounds of a boxing match with the world champion! i compared him to marcelo before but he does look a lot like maxwell, another player under mancini during his time at inter so he could yet still end up being with inter at the end of the season and it's nice to see him sacrifice himself so much, really looking forward to the roma game and to see if inter has any surprise up their sleeve, here is where mancini has the chance to shine... he has already rested palacio, kova and took of icardi early in the game so he is counting on them, let's see how they'll respond and who else will be up for it...
It was a good game, I like how smoothly things are going in terms of game play and the players are working hard, very hard. The team is looking good and the flow of the game did feel more natural and the team pulled themselves together when Ranoch was sent off, especially Juan with that goal line clearance and Medel who played with lots of hustle helping us keep that one goal lead. Campo did a lot better dealing with Konoplyanka then Nagatomo did and I was very impressed with how he handled himself. I still want to see more from Guarin but he came back from injury but he needs to play even better against Roma if he does start, he seems to grow into the game during the second half. I'm glad Osvaldo is back, we need players like him in the team healthy against Roma and hopefully M'Vila will be available as well. Although I doubt he would start in a big game against Roma.

Looking at the Roma game what formation do you suppose Mancini might go for? With Roma's impressive MF, I think the team really needs Medel in that DM position because they are going to try to run the MF with Strootman, Nagga, Pjanic and Keita.

------Handa------
Campo-Rano-Jaun-Dodo
------Medel-----
Obi---Kova---Guarin
----Pal--Icardi

I would favor Obi to start because he does provide lots of energy and pace in the MF, he can push the ball up out of our half and his a hard-worker. Hernanes has been out of form and much better coming off from the bench and setting up a late winner or equalizer.
I was working on Sunday and couldn't watch the derby. Does anyone have links to the full game?
rubin, try http://lastminutegoals.org/, they usually upload inters games but not always...
Found the full game. Thank you!

Hoping that this does happen. Going to be expensive though:(

On the other hand only 3 points needed to go through to the knockouts of the Europa League. Mancini wants Inter to go very far in EL.
Bernard could be a better solution than Osvaldo, I doubt the club would have both of them in their books if he arrives in january but the usual suspect to leave the club would still be Palacio, Obi, Kuz, Khrin, Nago, Jonathan and Campo... I doubt Inter has the money to bring in 7 new players but you'd think they'd look to the primavera to replace some of those players... and where ever they're lacking invest in 1-3 new players... also they've been fortunate to land M'Vila and Dodo but do they fit in with Mancinis tactics and vision for the club? and if they land Bernard, that's a direct replacement for Osvaldo but then what about Medel? also what will happen to Guarin once Mancini also gets frustrated with him? is he still up for sale? the hardest to replace will be Palacio, if Inter can't find a direct replacement for him, they'll have to count with the teams overall skill level to drop, just think about the kind of impact he had last season!
I wish we had the Palacio from last season. The team would benefit so much and get much needed points.

7 new signings is crazy but I don't mind seeing players like Khhrin, Cristeg, Laxalt, Taider, Longo brought in to fill in some spots and Mbaye, Brigah and Passa come in for defenders. Inter have got good players that should be given some time and to be loaned to better teams to not only give them playing time but to take something away from it. I wanna see them in pre-season next summer.

As for new sigings if Bernard was to come in I wouldn't mind letting Osvaldo go. Osvaldo even when fit doesn't make much of an impact and gets shut down easily by defenders. Bernard is a hungry player and quick as hell, we know how effective quick players against opposing defenders in serie a are, we need for the attacking part of our team. I love the dudes energy and his got a point to prove. As for Medel, don't see him going anywhere. Inter just bought him, their not going to sell him right off the bat. He can prove to be useful and a good cover because Mancini does like his destroyer type DM who can break things up and Medel can play CB. M'Vila can play where Medel plays when his fully fit and I've seen him do it for France and his got a lot more to offer in terms of distribution and linkup play to start attacks from a deep-lying play-maker position. I would keep them just to be able to interchange between them and rest the other. Guarin is inconsistent as hell at times and Mancini is going to figure that out, the club might sell him to get some money back and invest in another player but Mancini has said that Guarin is an important player.

Keeping the January window in mind, Mancini has said after the Milan game he wants to bring in another MF. If he does stick with the 4-1-3-2 formation thanks to our lack for wingers then Obi and Kuz are likely headed out the door and Bernard might be that winger Inter is looking for and I still thing Mancini might go after a striker as well and a consistent one considering their are going to be a few players up for grabs in January. Hell if Alvarez can't happend, I want to see at least Botta back, he can play very well and wasn't given a chance. I just thing Mancini is going to wait out until the summer to fix the defense and bring in a winger and striker because our attack needs to be revamped. Inter can build up plays but lack a proper srong finisher or a winger that can take players head on and rush into the 18 yard box and cross. The team has become to predictable in attack.
Cant wait for Mancini's debut. Hopefully it will be a great game, and we can get a result :)
SO far, same sh*t...We need new players, not manager.
the team did have a different feel to it but it wouldn't matter if inter lost or won against milan tonight if the team played badly, obviously a great performance and a result to match it would've been great but considering milan are only +1 point ahead of inter in the table... the gameplay and how the team responded to the introduction of mancini was more important tonight than anything else, i thought they played fairly well, only lacking in when they're interchanging or linking up but that'll come with having actual game time and it won't matter how much time they spend on training on learning tactics as it's different to real-time play but if they can improve on this performance with d'ambro, hernanes, osvaldo and m'vila coming back from injury and they are 100 % we could see a change of results... also Guarin wasn't either 100 % match fit and Kova with Icardi won't always be consistent but i think this team could trouble Roma and I'm looking forward to that game as this derby was really just a 'friendly', as Milan hasn't yet settled this season, this was Inzaghi's first time in charge of a derby and their season could really go eitherway as so far they've had far too many draws but it could be a good start or the team could come crashing down and can't continue grinding out results on their own waiting for their coach to find a working formula for the team... but the real danger will be facing roma! they'll be on another level compared to milan but their midweek cl game could help out in slowing them down a bit so you'd hope Icardi and Palacio gets rested against dnipro for the Roma game...
^Exactly it was more about how the team responded to Mancini and they responded and it wasn't bad, it was a good response against Milan.

I like Dodo energy and he could make a really good LB but he needs to put on some muscle because I love his attacking hunger but he needs to be able muscle against opponents when tracking back not body checked. I was disappointing with Kova because he didn't challenge in the middle of the park, I was happy to see him get played in that CAM role but he would just swing over to the wide area every time. I know taking on Muntari and Essien ain't easy but Icardi could have used some through balls to challenge a slow Mexes and an inconsistent Zapata. He wasn't given a lot of space to work with but moving outwide just made him invisible throughout the game. It would have helped if Guarin was a 100% because he can turn up and just run at that defense whipping in shots from distance or taking players head-one. As for Icardi, well the team really missed out on that big opportunity in the first half. As for the defense Juan/Rano could make a solid duo but they lack two really good fullbacks to back them up.

On the other hand only time can tell how much more comfortable the team will be in the formations but the first game performance wasn't bad and when players get back from injuries the team could look more convincing with them and gives Mancini more quality to work with. The Roma test is going to be a different story, a much tougher game.
kova could find it difficult with mancini's tactics... as of now, mancini is relying on obi and guarin to act as mc/lm and mc/rm to make up for the lack of wingers... they're used to pushing forward and defending but the odd man out would be obi and kova would still find it difficult to replace him!... as for DM, i was disappointed that M'vila didn't make the cut now that medel was out of the picture, hope it's a fitness problem rather than his quality as Maz didn't use him much either! so the only spots Kova could find space is in AM or as a deeplying playmaker just behind the two MC's... but he likes playing in central to the left of the midfield, much like how fabregas is fielded in Mou's chelsea but the team doesn't have any wideplayers to allow for that formation at inter... he could soon find himself benched if he doesn't pick up his performances... perhaps a player that can play as mc/am and has quality to defend, play alongside guarin and put herna as deeplying playmaker wouldn't be such a bad idea... that'll allow kova to play as AM and inter wouldn't have to go after a AM/SS for now since Osvaldo and Palacio are still at the club... and they could always call back Botta for further cover as he isn't currently getting any playing time and even crisetig! as he can easily occupy Obi's spot... but perhaps the most ideal player would be another Guarin-type that can play on the leftside, too bad rabiot decided not to leave psg and join inter as he would've been most ideal, unless inter go after Dembele of spurs! yeah dodo put on a good effort and if he does continue his growth he could be the next Marcelo! i thought Ranoch played below pair compared to Juan and took him awhile to settle! but Juan does improve with every game and season... perhaps he could be the next cordoba of inter? as he managed to force out cannavaro out of the team, not because he was better but he really put in a shift in every game... too bad that canno went on to win ballon d'or the year after! so far Kuz, Obi, Nago and Palacio needs replacing but with M'Vila, D'Ambro, Osvaldo and Herna not fully fit it's hard to say where the team lacks... also Osvaldo and M'Vila need to change gear if they want to remain at the club...
Kova might be more comfortable as a CM but his got the quality to be a great CAM player. We've seen flashes of what he can do with the ball when he pushes forward and its pretty amazing but I think Mancini is trying to get more of that out of him regularly. He just needs to get more comfortable and confident and for his sake does a lot better because its going to bad news if Mancini shops for a AM/SS player because Kovacic's is going to be warming the bench.

Hopefully we see more of M'Vila soon, the guy should be playing more often because he can provide a lot more then what Kuz can do and if Kova was pushed forward he is the perfect deep-lying play-maker which his good vision and passing. Osvaldo when he returns needs to play with more hunger and desire because he does tend to fade away in some games and if he doesn't step it up sooner rather then later he will find himself out of Inter quickly.

As for what the team needs, I still think its FBs. The team is struggling on the right hand side, Nagatomo is quick but caught out of position constantly. Wouldn't mind if he was pushed out as a winger considering he can cross well at times and cause trouble to the FB on the opposing side but defensively his just not going to do it.

It just looks like Mancini is going to stick with this diamound MF formation due to the lack of wingers but to save money on more useful players I would try to bring Alvarez/Botta back from their loan deals. Its ironic that Mazz sent them on loan because our formation didn't need any wingers but Mancini formation really needs wingers. Alvarez can play as in the wide area or as a AM which is a bonus but he needs lots of convincing to come back because Mazz drove the guy out of the club.
considering inter bought him for around 4 mil they could make some money off his move and he'll sure demand a hefty contract if he is to return but the way sunderlands season has been going he could reconsider if inter qualify for cl and they're relegated... it's not just Kuz that M'Vila has to face off for a spot in midfield, there are also herna and medel, sure Nago lacks in defence but in midfield Obi and Kuz are the weakest and at right-back, you still have D'Ambro who is yet to return from injury and it'll be hard to invest in a AM/SS and inter aren't desperate since there are Palacio, Osvaldo and if Botta comes back, and much of inters play won't change with a new fb... i'd say going by the milan game, inter lack a LCM... but i'd be curious to see a midfield of M'Vila-Guarin and Herna acting as deeplying playmaker with Kova upfront... or even Medel instead of Herna, just to see how the team would respond... they could still play with a 4-2-3-1 formation and use Guarin and Palacio as wingers and Medel-M'Vila as midfieldplayers... but all of this will depend on the players that are injured come back soon fit and match ready...
My problem is D'Ambro is that he doesn't offer much in attack but his great at defending which puts Inter in a weird conundrum because you have an attack minded Nagatomo and defensive minded D'Ambro but what this team needs is a all in one type of FB and its always going to be a niggling problem but with Johnthan still at the club I find it hard to believe another FB is coming in unless one is sold.

A LCM does sound good and Mancini did say he wants to bring in another MF and I'm hoping maybe someone like Dembele who's very effective in both attack and defensive, with a great touch and vision. Although his out of the question because the Spurs don't plan on selling him and he doesn't want to go. Hopefully the team can find some one really good. I live Newcastle United's Moussa Sissoko, his very reliable and strong. He can play as a CM or an attacking winger with lots of speed and skill in display.
Jono will have his contract expired in the summer so selling nago will be the only option but i doubt there many teams out there that'll be intersted unless it's a team in germany that are interested in reaching out to the market in asia... since dodo is attack minded it would be wise to have defensive fb such as d'ambro and in the summer if a fb arrives, d'ambro could be a back-up to both of them, since he can play on both sides...

Sissoko would be a great option, was surprised he arrived at newcastle for such a fee, would be nice having another frenchman at the club to play alongside m'vila and if Guarin can realise his potential it could be a midfield that could work... he was even used as a back up in the french team when they played with Matuidi and Pogba in midfield with cabaye playing as deeplying midfield... i saw him play a couple of times for them and he put in some great performances... he isn't exactly a yaya toure type but he ranks along the lines such as sahin, not a bad player to have and he could add to inters midfield...
just read the derby is sold out, hope inzaghi doesn't field his team with a defensive mindset, they obviously have more to lose compared to mancini's inter but i hope for an exciting game that's open and both teams play end to end and really go for it... if mancini plays with 4 at the back, inter will certainly lack on the sides so much of their play will be through the middle and down to osvaldo or palacio, just hope icardi has a good game so that palacio and osvaldo don't run out of steam trying to provide for him...
Inzaghi must go for a win here, its a derby no one wants to settle for a draw in a bragging rights game and both teams need 3 points. My guess is we will see a Honda-Menez-Elsha attacking three with maybe Muntari-Nigel-Bonaventura in the MF with some makeshift RB-Rami-Mexes- De Sciglio in the back. If they play a 4-3-3 formation and Mancini comes in with a 4-3-2-1 formation its going to be the battle of the MF. Although they will have an advantage on the wing with both Honda or Elsha likely to play or even Menez. Dodo isn't the best defender and the team lacks a proper RB. Milan will want to win and come out attacking, lets home Icardi can finish his chances and Kovacic turns up to play the game of his life.
I don't expect any miracle from Mancini. With these bunch of players, even Alex Ferguson can do nothing....
Its going to be tough for Mancini this time around as a manager for Inter but I would take Mancini over Mazzari any day of the week. Looking into future transfer windows at least Mancini knows who to bring in and what do with them while sometimes you wonder what Mazz is even thinking. Its a strange timing but it gives Mancini time to evaluate our team and hopefully bring in some quality reinforcements in January. Our hopes in terms of future players for Mazz might have been low but Mancini might bring in some good quality players because Mancini demands a certain standard and might have been promised some cash for the window to improve the squad or else why would he have taken the job at all if he knew the outcome? Have some faith bro:)

to be honest fergie did well with his players and moyes failed horribly the season after, depends on how the coach and the players work with each other... if the coach can get the best out of them and the players are willing to give their best for him... then obviously it comes down to hard work, preparation and a bit of few things working in their favour, such as refs, weather, injuries, goal-post, deflection basically anything that could happen in those 90 mins of play plus extra time... the job of the coach is to forsee these things and for the players to act accordingly... really simple when you think about lol! but we'll see what thohir does if inter fails and ends up in 7th or lower position and Mancini doesn't hold up to what he promises...

eitherway i'm most excited about the 4-2-3-1 formation that Mancini usually uses and as for new signings i hope the club goes after balo instead of borini and if possible either destro or florenzi from roma! and if they're seriously intersted in getting players from the bpl then no more players like vidic or cole and that means no johnson! but ill be curious to see if vidic can play in a 4 man defence with ranoch as perhaps ranoch can take ferdina's role...
^ I know right, I'm know Mancini loves the 4-2-3-1 formation and I'm glad the back three line-up days are coming to end soon. I know for sure Mancini is going to bring in some quality but gonna be hard to bring in Destro or even Florenzi in that case but I know Luiz Adriano is available for a pre-conract talks in January. Considering his in hot form and plays very well in a 4-2-3-1 formation would be welcomed player and his record speaks for itself. Another player that Mancini should move for is Man City's Matija Nastasic, top class young player who feel out off the pecking order for no god damn reason and Pellegrini likes Demichelis ahead of him. Considering Mancini signed him to City and got the best out of him and he might be available for 5mil, I would push for him.I'd rather see him play for Inter then any other PL team. Its so tempting to see Khedira so cheap in the window but I know he won't come to Inter. On the other hand their are lots of player there for the picking in January, hopefully Mancini makes a few.
if mancini can get his ideas across and he feels comfortable with deploying the team with 4 at the back, ill be curious to see how the team responds, perhaps a new coach might give them the belief to do well against a stuttering milan but the real test will be against roma... and also now until the juve game will give a good indication of how well they're progressing... anyways, the team will be desperate for a change of results or thohir will get the focus on him, now that maz is out of the picture and mancini fails with this team... then the blame will fall on thohir for not providing the cash for new players...

i was surprised to read that nasta is only 21! but isn't he too similar to juan? there is a reason why adrianos contract is running out and that he only has 1 cap with brazil, he isn't exactly prolific as he has been of late, just that he is in a rich form and no guarante that he will play like that always for inter... if inter did get khedira it'll be a serious signal of strength and intent... he is a world cup winner and won't perhaps add much to the team as compared to kroos or vidal but he is at the top of his game when compared to medel, strootman and matic... the purchase of destro could be possible with the sale of icardi and handa, he has had a great start to the season, finding the goals and handa who is negotiating for a new contract could perhaps be sold to bring in some more cash into the club rather than tying him down to an expensive contract... just hope the club doesn't get suckered into getting cerci to lower the price of icardi, at. madrid definately overpaid! then again it'll depend on how mancini sees icardi and if he thinks he is worthwhile keeping hold off compared to destro or the extra cash that could come in...
I would like to see Destro, his more of a consistent confident scorer then Icardi but we'll have to see the striker situation and what Mancini sees is best for Inter. Luiz Adriano might not be the best striker out there but depending on his wages and he might be available for free I don't see why he wouldn't be a good pick up unless Mancini makes a move for another striker. Would be troubling if Osvaldo is still around. Nastasic is not like Juan, hell an inform Nastasic is better then Juan. Why do you think Arsenal are trying to get him? His good on the ball, can read the game very well and positioning/heading is wonderful for a 21 year old and plays in a back 4 line up. The guy plays well beyond his years and was a Mancini favorite. Although his on 70k a week at City which makes his move a bit hard to Serie A.
going by the formation mancini used against the primavera, its easy to see why he would be desperate for a striker but that could be resolved by bringing back alvarez and botta, unless the club feels they could get another player who is cheaper than what it'll cost to sell alvarez and is a better player... also if during the rest of the season, one of palacio and osvaldo gets injured or worst as it has been for Maz, both of them... then Mancini will need an extra striker... as for midfield and defence, i think the team has just about to get by until the summer, i'd like to see dodo tested out as fb and see if he can improve on his defensive side before going after kolorov or another lb... and for the right side, we still have nago in the team and d'ambro should soon return from injury... and with vidic, ranoch and juan already fightin for 2 spots in defence, another defender will only complicate things, unless the team sells juan and then gets nasta... specially when we still have campo and andreo at the club... and mancini already mentioned he saw guarin as a key player and the fact that he needs to figure out what to do with kova and herna... along with m'vila and medel, then perhaps at most mancini could ask for a AM/SS... osvaldo hasn't really gotten a chance to shine, i'm curious to see how he fairs when he is fit playing alongside palacio... but there is still time from now untill january and the summer to see who makes the cut and who is dead weight... already kuz and obi are up for the chop, since they've been at the club the longest and then there are jonah and campo that need replacing and out of all the loanes dodo and m'vila seem to be bright prospects... medel and vidic haven't really adapted to serie a, let's see if mancini can get something out of them and osvaldo seem to be on the backburn, i hope it's just the injury but he hasn't so far shown that he is hungry to stay at the club...
I agree things start to shift if the formation changes to a back 4. 2 CBs per game means one of the starters can rest and Inter still have Campo/Andreo backs fresh and ready for EL games. D'Ambro should be back soon from his injury lay-of so having Naga/Dodo/D'Ambro rotating should be enough cover. Looking into the MF I agree Mancini could bring in AM/SS but I wounder if he can get Alavarz/Botta back from their loan deals if not I'm sure his going to look for a AM/SS in the PL. As for a striker, i can see why that is the new talking point. Mancini would want a goalscorer that fits his 4-2-3-1 formation and its a matter of weather he relies on Icardi or not. Icardi/Palcio/Osvaldo look like a nice trio of strikers to have but none of them have been productive enough on a consistent level. Lets see what Mancini can muster up, rumors are that he plans to raid the PL.
just hope it isn't the likes of johnson or kolorov, vidic and cole are already struggling and there is a reason why their clubs let them go, bpl is a competitive league and if players are cut from their teams, it's because they really can't compete with the best any more and inter shouldn't be a retiring home for old stars... the only former bpl players that have done well in serie a so far are tevez and gervinho and honestly the type of players i would like to see at inter from the bpl are barkley, ramsey, januzaj but since none of them are likely to arrive any time soon just hope it won't be older players that are having difficult time getting playing time and with huge demands for contracts... read something about kaya so there is the option of turkey also... perhaps signing mancini was a good option rather than keeping maz and signing a bunch of players that could suit him.... but we'll see how the these players respond to Mancini and if he'll also need many or just few new players...
Hopefully, I will lose it if Inter signs Johnson, I won't mind Kolorov if he can salary pay-cut because he is a good LB and would be surprised if City sold him this winter but with Dodo around I don't see the point. Kaya would be a nice purchase as well, 23 years old with lots of talent. One thing I'm liking is the fact that Mancini fancies Lamela, hopefully if their is big money being thrown around in the future its for that guy.
well the only way the club will sign him is if they sell hernanes but i doubt any club will be willing to pay the amount inter paid for him... there aren't that many world class am/ss around in europe that'll come cheap! i'd say go after balo if inter are gonna splash money but i'd settle for pato since liverpool won't sell him anytime soon not unless rodgers gets the kick... also while the club goes after pato, why not try for ganso as a substitute for lamela? he could probably come for a cheaper price and is crazy talented, perhaps he could find his feet with inter... even that kid at lazio named keita seems to show a lot more talent and promise, almost makes me think why didn't we go after him rather than hernanes!
I was a bit surprised how much Inter went out to by Hernanes for. I mean he was 28 years old and 20mil??? That's a lot of money for a man not to far from 30 years of age but none the less his a great player. Ganso has been linked with Inter a few seasons ago and I've always wondered why he hasn't left Brazil yet because while Neymar was making a name for himself in Santos, he was right there with him in terms of talent. Top quality player that would be a gem at Inter Milan. Pato?? I certainly do like him but are we certain to see more goals from him.
perhaps not but was thinking of strikers that are familiar with serie a and could be of use as back-up to icardi, if he is used well, stays injury free and is hungry to do well, he could succeed at inter, he is still young and won't be a kaka or a ronaldo as it was with milan when they signed them back from abroad... if not pato then why not go after bernard? he hasn't been getting any playing time at shaktar and could do well alongside ganso as he did with ronaldinho... since gansos injury he hasn't been the same and his club is probably holding out for mega bid from europe before releasing him...
I like Bernard a lot. The kid is on another level of amazing if he gets consistent starts. His got lots of pace and energy if anything we learned anything in Serie A the last few seasons, is that pacy players are very effective in this league. He probably does want to leave Shaktar with all the stuff going on in Ukraine and having him on the wing is pretty awesome. Pato wouldn't be a bad deal but it depends on how much he would be coming in for considering his not the best scorer and super injury prone.

Gotta love Brazilian players. Although that Roberto Firmino kid is something special. His everything you can ask for, a goalscorer and a creator. Not to mention he scored his first goal for Brazil in his second appearance for them.

Mancini is back

I just read that Mazzari just got sacked. Who else is surprised about this? I assumed Thohir would keep his word about Mazzari keeping his job.
I'm not suprised tbh. It was coming.
Oh wow, I'm a bit taken back. I thought at the least he would keep the job until the end of the season or at most get sacked if Inter lost badly in the derby but not now. Didn't see this one coming. looks like Roberto Mancini is going to given the job but I don't know much difference his going to make or what he has planned out.

read that psg was interested in mancini and the reason why they acted to fast but also with his sallary, i thought they would've gone with a caretaker like zenga or the primavera coach and wait untill the end of the season before going after coaches that demand does sallary, like Miha, Martinez and others that are currently employed by clubs but since the rebuilding of inter didn't work with Maz after a year in charge, it's easier to get a new coach in before the january window and give enough time for planning of next summers window... i think inter are going along the lines like V. Gaal and hoping the fumes of Mancini's previous success will drive the team forward and buy them some time, i'll give Mancini the credit of being good at building teams, often 2-3 out 5 of his signings are usually good but it'll depend on how much the club are willing to spend, his track record for european success is bad for a coach that demands that high of sallary but is great at national level... eitherway, we'll see just how long these fumes will last before this frenzy will start over again... the team will need a couple of wins just to get the fans involved again and for the team to start competing for a cl spot before the media is on inters side and the team gets good publicity and business is good again at inter...

i'll salute Maz, he did well getting the team from 9th spot and steering it towards a finish at 5th, too bad the season started so bad but the pressure mounted way before the start because of the signings and expectation for the club to at least fight for 2-3 spot... but results and game-play was too hard to swallow even for inter fans... would've liked to see Maz at least try 4-4-2 formation and not be so insistent on 3 at the back, it was clear for all to see it wasn't working, could've perhaps saved him if he showed he was flexible and proved to everyone even with 4 at the back this team will still get the same results, just imagen now if Mancini does well with 4 at the back how much finger pointing Maz will recieve!...

Exactly it depends on how much the club can give him to work with. in City he brought in Silva, Aguero, Yaya and promoted Joe Hart to the first team. Gotta love him for that because we wouldn't be what we are today without him. I like a manager who knows who can get good players.

What interests me is that the timing of Mancini hiring. I wonder what his wages are because knowing Mancini its not going to be cheap or would he take massive pay-cut to come to Inter. With Mancini coming in, Inter is bound to get some good quality players.
+1
he is the highest paid coach in serie a and more than Maz who held that position... the worst part is inter will still have to pay the wages of Maz and his staff untill 2016 but also Mancini and his staffs wages untill 2017... money that could've been used to buy 1-2 players!
Maz is really splitting opionions in serie a! some of things that has been said about him by a couple of people are almost ridiculous, it would be unfair to throw all of inters burdens on him but he'll sound like a defeated man if he starts complaining about that also! i wouldn't want to be Maz at this moment and hope he can get through this period...
Its a tough spot to be in but he knew what he was coming into from the start. Although he does takes lots of criticism which isn't his fault. His given players to work with from the club and what they can bring in, at Napoli he had more quality to work with which in return made his tactics and style more effective but with Inter its not progressing much. Is he bringing the best out of this current team? Its tough to say atm considering the number of injuries the team has but even a change in formation won't change much, the teams depth and quality isn't much which leaves the team in a tough hole not to mention the new signings are still trying to gel into their new team. So his forced to play this way for at Inter. Although I think his might get sacked if he doesn't win the derby.
Watching an Inter's match is as funny as a kick in the b******s
Lol.
