Glad i missed the match and only saw the highlight as it must have been brutal to sit trhough it in 90 min... however, Pazza Inter! they usually fall flat on their faces after having a freescoring game and their next opponents are much sharper and Inter less so but I thought they left those tendencies behind them and would be able to have a different season after failing to kick start their season at first and than finding a balance, I can understand a loss but not in that manner specially in a Bergamo derby?
HOrrible, horrible loss. AsI said before, Spa needs to start rotating players, but he believes they're not tired yet. Not sure what to say at this point.
It was one of the worst Inter performances I've seen in a long while. Inter were lucky to walk out conceding 4 goals and not 7 goals, if not for Handa. Everyone was just down right bad, I want to forget this game and move on.
Spa needs to stop putting Raja behind Icardi. He has no creativity and is not able to feed wingers.
Imo, I prefer Borja or Joao Mario in that position rather than Raja. Not that Raja isn't good, his much better playing a little deeper than the actual n10 position.
Raja is a box to box midfielder, not a playmaker nor number 10. Not sure why Spa doesn't see that.
In Roma he was in that 3 man MF with De Rossi and Strootman. Although with Vecino and Brozo claiming that 2 position. Raja is still a beast of a player but I would love to see a 4-3-1-2

---Peri-------Icardi--------
--------Borja-------------

Nain----Brozo----Vecino----

Asa----Mira/DeVrj-Skin--Sime/D'Ambro
Nain is used to playing in that position, he formed a solid partnership with Dzeko but not all football players are like Ronaldo, Ribery, Miller and still going strong after 30... I think Spa commented on the formation he uses and mentioned the fact that the team plays both 4-2-3-1 and 4-3-3, for me, Peri hasn't been as influencial as he was last season and Poli at this moment is pulling ahead, in a 4-3-1-2 formation I'd like to see Lauto play alongside Icardi with either Keita or Poli behind them and with Gigli as DM and have Vecino and Nain push forward...
I like J Mario's performance against Lazio. He did a great job supporting icardi and Poli/Peri on wings. Reminded me of Rafinha.
I was his harshest critic and surprised to see his name tbh. Glad he got a shot, his much better playing in an advanced position instead of the CM position. I was impressed with him when I saw him at West Ham. Hopefully we see more of him.
He did a great job. I think Spaletti saw what we saw and we will see more of him.
Those are glowing reviews, didn't really see the whole match, just saw the highlights but hoping to see the whole Genoa game tomorrow with perhaps Mario on the field, also don't forget a certain Barbosa that is in Brazil, having a decent season, maybe this time around he'll come back with different set of frame of mind and the team can help him to get more involved and play a part in attempt to have a good season, one that doesn't take the last game to qualify them to a CL spot...
^I would prefer watch Keita Balde get some goals than Barbosa coming back and proving something.
Lets start with Lauto first as he looked out of shape, bulked up but nowhere near fit in agility and sharpness, had he bagged a couple of goals I would've been more assured about Inter's threat going forward as Genoa did have their chances and had Genoa scored first it could've turned out completely different on the night...

Inter gained confidence as the game wore on but confidence is such a fragile thing in football which Barca will be quick to snuff out, really hope Inter won't allow Barca to come to San Siro and let Barca bully them infront of their home fans not after the way their fans have celebrated in the Genoa game...
Only caught the highlights, missed the full match. I saw Genoa with some really good chances but glad Inter won, 2 goals for Gagli should be a huge confidence boost for him, his struggle to get into the line-up.

The Barca game will be tough but Inter need to learn to finish their chances. Barca have their weaknesses and have conceded some bad goals in la liga. Their attack certainly makes up for their defensive weaknesses. We need to score first!
Asamoah is a beast. His understanding of tactic and game reading is unbelievable. He has been our best signing so far.
The team did well. Lazio had some really good chances but looked like a complete mess defensively. The back-line had a solid performance and I thought Sime looked better today. Politano works his socks off and his runs really gave Lazio trouble. Vecino and Brozo have monsters for us in the MFs and Brozo is just getting better and better. Were finally seeing consistent performances, since the WC, his taken his game to the next level. Overall the team has had a fantastic game, defended and finished better than Lazio. Huge 3 points.
it was a good wake up call, after the Barca game, next up is San Siro hosting Genoa... Genoa have been struggling of late but after Inter performance against Lazio, they'll be more than ready to frustrate Inter and shut them down, hoping to stop Inter from playing their style of football... more than defence, it'll be a question of how lethal Inter are upfront...
What was Skinar up to last night? lol
He was very poor on both goals and showed no sign of SKinar we know.
Overall, we all knew there was no way of beating Barca in Camp Neu. Rafinha made Spaletti realize what he is missing. His creativity, and a support for CF is amazing. We need to sign someone with his qualities.
Inter tried to sign him, along with Cancelo, they where our top picks, Nain and Vrsj weren't even in the picture yet until we missed out on both. Shame he doesn't get much time at barca, hopefully we can go in for him next summer. I know he really wanted to join us but Barca weren't going to lower the 35mil asking price.

Rafinah? weren't they trying to get Modric during the summer? almost desperately? if anything allow Poli to take up Nain position and allow Keita to play outwide with Peri... or even push Brozo up higher and field Gigla alongside Vecino? but I have to say I've been impressed by a player named Ruben Neves in the BPL he has had some solid performances so far and really looks like a quality player wouldn't be surprised if big 6 in the BPL came in for him by the end of the season...
+4
Don't know how to analyze the game as it went off the rails after Lauto came on and Barca brought in Samedo... before than, I didn't even see D'Ambro and Asa along with Borja will have to take a long pause and sit out a couple of games to refocus and get in shape, a midfield of Vecino and Brozo is good but is crying out for something more... what a shame Icardi forgot his scoring boots tonight, had he put away his two chances in the first half, people would've talked about him more seriously specially with him shining in the abscence of a certain Messi...

eitherway this was their first tough game of the season, it should help Inter to refocus and prepare much better for their home game against Barca but also their old rivals Lazio and Genoa before coming up against Spurs, Roma and Juve...

besides Inter will have to get a result against Barca in San Siro, otherwise Spurs will most likely beat PSV in their next game and knowing Inter, Spurs will definitely win their home game against Inter and also against Barca, whome will have already qualified by than, and PSV will most likely play the game of their life against Inter as it will be their last CL game and will smell blood after Barca and Spurs trashed Inter...
Inter had their chances in the first half and few more chances in the second. Although the first goal by Barca was just a brillant pass and a great finish. Sad we couldn't sign Rafinha, his a quality player but had we gotten a goal early, we might have had a chance to change the outcome but the further this team went on without getting that goal, you just had a feeling Barca was going to bounce on the chance.

The last 3 games of the UCL will be hard. PSV wonn't show the same respect again, Spurs will be out for blood, despite how poor they were they still have a good chance to beat Inter and Barca is Barca, if we couldn't beat them without Messi, its going to be a nightmare. All three games will require top draw performances, couple with consistent performances in the league. These boys might run out gas by then.
They shouldn't not when you have Keita, Candreva, Vra, Dalbert and Lauto on the bench for these instances...
What a finish! Icardi with the game winning goal and a brilliant cross by Vecino. Milan was strong and held things together but neither side really created too many goal-scoring chances for their strikers. We lost the momentum when Peri and Nain went off the pitch. Although gotta say Brozo and Vecino worked like hell when Nain went off. Also, De Vrij is a beast of a player, can't believe we got him for free. K.Asamoah was shockingly poor today. Nevertheless, a win is all that matters.

Nain will be out for quite a while I hear, Peri went off injured. Hard to believe either will feature in the Barca game three days from now. Still hoping for a victory or draw.
That's Suso, Calha and Higuain put to the side, a solid performance from the defence, yeah Asamoah was tripping himself over the ball and was at times caught on the ball in the defensive phase... next up are Dembele, Coutinho and Suarez, I'll be keeping a close eye on Skriniar and how well Icardi will do against a shaky defence such as Barca's, in midfield Rakitic will be the main threat, I honestly would love to see Candreva start ahead of Politano and have Peri and Candreva concentrate on the defensive part...
The Derby is where heroes are med Vecino has already gone down as THE midfield player of Inter, however, the likes of Politano, Keita and Lauto can open up a new page in their Inter history books but I wouldn't mind Inter's big guns in the form of Icardi and Peri to flex their muscles and give the fans something to cheer about, eitherway Napoli lost to Juve and than beat Liverpool, it won't be a season changer but a huge moral booster if they win on sunday...
Its going to be interesting and a morale booster if Inter manage to win. Milan won't be easy, their MF is a unit and Higuain is out to prove himself.

Its worrying indeed. Kessie, Biliga and Bonventura are tough players in MF. Borja might or might not start but wish Vecino was not injured. Gagli has been poor when given the chance and him Brozo just aren't working very well together. Going to be interesting to see, the key will be our MF.

Don't you love how Inter are consistently inconsistent? Pazza Inter! glad to see Icardi on the scoresheet again, as his goals will give the team some breathing space but a bit worriesome when Spal had so many chances, Inter showing defensive vulnerability and it doesn't help that they'll be facing a certain Suso, free scoring Higuain and creative Bona along with Cal and Kessie...
The Milan game will be a huge test, Inter just didn't look strong enough defensively today.

Miranda is not good enough at this time. De Vrij needs to start. Sime looked decent after coming back from injury. Although got to give credit to Nain, he works his socks off defensively. Keita can't seem to catch a break, constantly struggles to impose himself in the game. Hopefully Brozo will be back for the Milan game.
Keita has only one thing in his mind at that is running towards the goal with ball at his feet, he reminds me a bit of Peri, only difference is that Peri is comfortable with playing a bit down in central midfield whereas he might sometimes get too comfortable playing outwide and end up getting isolated and even worse for defenders to isolate Icardi from him... perhpas if Keita learns how to stretch defenders and play the ball with his backtowards the goal and use his pace and strength to switch it up and turn on defenders to make a run at goal rather than being very predictable everytime he gets the ball... he is almost similar to Sterling but you can see how much Sterling has improved under Guard this season and last one...
Huge game today!
And we won. Not bad, not bad at all. The next one will be super tough. Not sure we can beat Barca in any way or forms, but I think we can stop them by playing deep and count on counters.
Very, very, very fortunate! Inter showed PSV too much respect, you could see why Barca put 4 goals past them as Inter were creating chances but failed to capitalise on them, they lacked that ruthlessness but Icardi pulled one out of the bag with his strength and awareness to score tha second goal... Vecino and Asamoh had a good game and I'm starting to see why De Vrij was rated so highly and even scouted by Juve at one point, he really is excellent with ball at his feet and the way he starts play from the back, wouldn't surprise me if one of the bigger teams in europe comes in for him much sooner rather than for Skrini... Brozo and D'Ambro looked tired and drained on energy, they got caught out one too many times and couldn't cope with the speed of their opponents

First up is Spal and if I know Inter it'll be a loss and after that it's the derby with Milan getting in gear and the likes of Kessie and Biglia looking better after which they'll visit Camp Nou, so Inter will have sharpen their teeth and get ready to raise the intensity because they lacked ruthlessness infront of goal and allowed PSV to bully them too much so that they lost 50/50 duals and missplaced loads of passes...

also I can see why the wingers of PSV has been getting praise but Bergwijn stuck out for him and if Lozano could be transformed into a wingback, he could be star player in that position!
Funny that Brzo and D'Ambro struggled considering both have been our most consistent players this season so far. They could just be really exhausted idk but I know they will bounce back.
We need more players to rotate. What will happen if Brozo and Vecino get injured ?? We literally have no one to replace them. What happened to Vrsaljko ? How long we need to wait until he got back to his feet?
What is obvious to me is that we are gonna struggle big after Christmas. No way we can play all season long like we these players.
We still have Gagli and even Nain can do a job in CM as he works really hard defensively for Inter with Lautaro or Borja playing in the n10.

^Imagine if we could keep Rafinha who is rotting on Barca's bnch and Cancelo. We would be so damn good.
Damn shame, both those guys had so much potential. Wanted to keep them. We would not have signed Nain or Sime Vsrj.

How did Inter spent 74mil combined to sign Joao Mario and Barbosa. One can't make the 18 and the other is back home in Brazil.
That's called bad business. When you sign a player that no one even wants to have.
