here is hoping for a good game tonight and hopefully WITHOUT any injurys! also keep an eye on Basta, heard he is being considered for the role of RB.
Finally the worst season in Serie A history for Inter is coming to an end. I'm really looking forward to seeing what moves they will make during the summer market. I think there's no way in hell Inter should sell Handanovic to Barcelona, much less for Montoya, Bartra or Song. I consider Handanovic to be one of the greatest goalkeepers in the world. It's not his fault that Inter's defense sucked this season. I'm sure Barcelona feel the same way and that's why they're gunning for him.
They already had a great early start in the market by acquiring Campagnaro and R. Botta at zero cost. They'll be two great additions to a bruised and battered Inter side. Know I just hope they learned their lesson from last couple of years and keep their young talents. They need to bring back Longo, Duncan and Livaja. They have to keep Mbaye, Benassi, Spendlhofer, Pasa, Olsen and Garritano in the first team and give them a chance to shine.
It's the beginning of a new era for Inter and in order to have have space for some new blood, they have to get rid of some old scars. I think Rocchi, Chivu, Stankovic and Samuel should gracefully bow out or be sold to another team. They did way more harm than good to Inter this last season by never being able to get healthy and contribute on the pitch. They're just taking up space on the first team roster.
As for other players coming in, I don't think they should go crazy and spend a lot of money. It would be great if they could sign Sanchez or Markovic, but both players are way too expensive and have publicly expressed that Inter wouldn't be their first choice if they left their current clubs. I think the first step should be resigning Gargano from Napoli. He was one of the few players that came in and made an immediate difference. After that, they should work on finishing the deal for Andreolli, who would be a great addition to the defense along with Campagnaro. They should also take Cap Zanetti's advice and sign Perruzi. He's been saying publicly for years now that Peruzzi would be the perfect heir. And WHO at Inter can refuse the words of the Eternal Captain. It would be great if he could have him under his wing for a year before he decides to retire.
If they let go of Mariga and Stankovic, they will need another solid physical midfielder. I believe the best choice for Inter would be Nainngolan. He's an awesome player, very physical and already tested in Serie A. They could get him for 6 - 7 million and fill that spot, without having to spend 20 million for Markovic. After that, they can just resign Cassano and get Weiss from Pescara at zero cost who is a young and talented offensive midfielder.
The biggest decision that Inter will have to make is deciding who will be the manager next season. I think Stramaccioni did all that he could with what was available to him, but I don't think he's ready to shine in Serie A. Signing Mazzari would be the best option. It wouldn't only make Inter a better team, but it would also create all sorts of turmoil in Napoli if he and Cavani leave. I believe that if he has a successful year managing Inter, he could probably convince Hamsik to join him for his second year.
INTER X SEMPRE!!! FORZA NERAZZURRI!!!

i like the idea of Markovic and Sanchez as wingers for Inter as both of them can easiky fit into a 4-4-2 and 4-3-3 formation as either wingers or second-strikers, which would be great to have as they would be direct replacements for Cassano and Palacio... who aren't getting any younger. I don't know about Camp and Andreo, are they better than Rancho and Juan? or are them more of a replacement for either two of these players; chivu, samuel and silvestre?
I'm not sure about Naingolan, i actually infact like Mudingaye more and that says a lot. I'm not neither convinced by Weiss, he is a good player and has some potential but he'll need a couple of more years before he is a finished product or close to it, i would rather go for Illicic! he is of similar type of player like Alvarez but he has become more used to Serie A and proven he can be more reliable.
why is everyone concerned with the RB? we have Jonathan, Schello, Nagatomo... who can all play in that position besides some of the primavera are coming back like for instance Donati? I've never seen Perruzzi but if we're gonna sell Jonathan and Nago, then i could understand the need to go for a PURE fullback and not a winger!
as Mazzi, yes his napoli team has done well and has improved a great deal but was it down to him? is he responsible for all the success? will he be able to do better with current crop of players available to inter right now, than what strama would? or does mazzi also need 're-inforcements?' and are those more of 'cheap-mediocre-just-to-get-by-and-make-the-coach-happy-type-of-players?' who would cost money, take up space in the team and force the club to pay their salaries without contributing anything to the team!?! i would say, give strama ONE more year and get rid of some of the older players because the idea of introducing young players gradually to an already older team who has won the treble, ISN'T CLEARLY WORKING! lol don't even buy big star players but keep along the lines of players like Kovacic... young proven talents who could adapt easily to serie A! i mean the worst that could happen is we get relegated to Serie B next season because of to many unproven youngsters but i believe we either do it full heartedly and have just few really great youngsters like; Markovic, Icardi, Kovacic add some decent players like Illicic, Alvarez, Botta, a new DM and get A player of high caliber like Sanchez, Fabregas, Modric or Mario Gomez as this team would need a star player both for market revenue and someone to take the spotlight away from the youngsters... as for the backline, you really can't have unproven youngsters running wild there but two new CB that could compliment Juan and Ranoch, Andreo and Camp would do that but i would then say perhaps another exciting talented defender?
besides if we do sell Ranoch, Guarin, Handa... we could easily get 20+20+30=70 and if we push for the price to go up 25+20+35=80? then we'll need to be smart about how we invest that money or we could be in a lot of trouble if we sell our best players and we end up with worse players and 80 mil euros down lol.

so far with all the player being linked to Inter, except for the usual suspects, i would jizz my pants if we got Fabregas and Di Maria, i know it's not gonna happen but we do have Handa and that could give us an edge and i'd even sell Guarin and Palacio to get that money needed for Di Maria... as for Fabregas, he would compliment Kovacic so wellllllllllll, it would allow Kovacic to move from playing as a deeplying playmaker to a central mid and protect him from taking knocks as he'll need to defend and keep other players off from targeting him... that's too much to ask of the kid. instead give him the chance to do some damage upfront whilest being protected by two wide wingers as the opposing teams will need to concentrate on them rather than him and he'll have Fabregas who can help him by attracting some of the attention (like how Iniesta and Xavi compliment each other at Barca) matter of fact Barca would be the ideal club for Kovacic lol.
think of it this way... juve have pirlo but they also have Marchisio and Asamoah along with two exceptionally good wingers who can also defend and are quick, which we don't at the moment... Napoli have Hamsik but they also have Inler and Behrami and Hamsik is more of a attacking central midfielder than anything... Guarin and Kovacic won't work unless you sadly sacrifice Kovacic as a deeplying playmaker and you get another CM to play alongside Guarin to compliment the two... or a DM and push Kovacic more central but i can't figure out players that could compliment those two that well and even add more dynamics to the team...
the big question is do Guarin and Kovacic really go well together? or perhaps they just need a third pure central midfielder and they'll be forced to defend altogether and take turns to go forwards but i doubt that could work so well at all times? but the most ideal situation with those two would be kovacic as a AM and Guarin as CM and limit him in the central part along with a player that compliments Guarin but then we'd be exposed in the midfield as we'd only have two defending midfielders who really aren't cut out for it and Kovacic isn't really a AM IF we do get another DM alongside Guarin...
however for us to get Fab and Di, then we'll def have to offload Handa, Guarin, Alvarez, Pereira, Palacio and Nagatomo (I would keep Pereira and Alvarez)... but i think inter will opt for another CM alongside Guarin and keep Handa, but that would mean for Kovacic to track back and take some knocks which would prevent him from reaching his full potential and if he gets injured we're out of fortune as we'll have to rely on Guarin as a AM lol!

why do i have a bad feeling that strama is at risk of being sacked? with one more game left to go... is moratti looking around to see who could continue with the project inter started two seasons ago? and is strama at fault of being that he, like myself, would like to see SOME changes to that project? and doesn't believe in the type of project the president is insisting on? (relying on the current crop of players that are at the club plus some players that are of similar style that the coach wanted like our summer signings and january ones)
wow, much of if strama will stay or not will depend on if he can get his way... and that doesn't go well with our president, remember Rafa? or even Gasp? the only two coaches that worked so well for inter thus far are(prior to the president spending big money)... Mancini and Mou who got players of the characteristics they wanted and did well with the available squad... the big question will be; is strama capable of getting something out of this current squad or does strama want a complete overhaul, which would mean SPENDING BIG MONEY!!!!! and in turn rub the president off in the wrong way... since the type of players he felt could help him didn't do so well, along with the already available players. did strama fail in requesting for the right players? and is the president willing to open up his wallet yet again!?! despite strama failling to do anything with the players he already got? or is strama willing to keep quite and work with JUST these players and the ones coming in during the summer either through sales or bosman? because from what i understood from what strama has been saying is that there needs to be some changes and the president has been saying 'we have a project!'
there can only be two outcomes, as i see it, one the status quo remains and strama will have to prove himself again with what he already got and some cheap inforcements during the summer. OR and that's a big OR... we will see strama have his way and we could be in for some exciting times... which i doubt because that would mean for the president to spend and spend according to the way strama likes, which isn't gonna be cheap or risk free.

Haha I read this on FN and thought it was funny.
" BWAHAHAHAHAHAH Fernando has just been stretched off the field few minutes ago in Porto-Benfica match, i guess he will spend the night cursing Inter for showing interest in him LOL "

FN? at least we'll be able to get him now for the cheap, we really do need a DM that can compliment Guarin. think of this way, if Guarin is playmakingmidfielder, then Gargano is a Ballwinningmidfielder, what we need is a new Boxtoboxmidfielder. basically a midfielder that could be the link between Kovacic and Guarin and there'll be need for a AM... and you could play with 5 man midfield with two wingers and 1 lone striker or three man midfield with three strikers upfront.
Anyone notice Alvarez is not as slow as he used to be. Was it his fitness? or was he not acclimated to Serie A at the time. I don't get that lazy vibe he used to have.
his injury spells coupled with his match fitness did contribute to his previous performances, i think i read somewhere prior to his recent form he only had 2!! full 90 matches under his belt.... now that he has been given the chance to prove his worth along with him being injury free, it has been great for him... if he could keep up the hard work he has put in this last half of the season into the next one... he sould have an even better season.
Inter has had injury problems the season following the last two international tournaments. The medical staff needs to shape up and stop having these problems.
i think the buck of blame has been passed to the appiano turf as of now not even the ball boys are safe lol.
what is up with livaja, has he always been like this and did he get into a fight while he was at inter? i wouldn't wanna know of what it would be like having him and cassano in the same lockeroom.
Common guys, take it easy on him. It was just a fight, It happens. Now if he did it 3-4 times then we all should be worried. It is a first for him.
We all have gotten into scuffles every now and then. He is still young and learning the ropes.

he did get in a fight with one of the atalnta coaches lol, i was kinda guessing the reason he left inter in the january window was due to him getting in trouble with some of the player, like cassano?
best game we've played in a long while :P just goes to show what a rotten year it's been
Kovacic is a superstar!
Kovacic is a superstar!
perhaps inter should start looking towards central europe for new players with kovacic and handanovic doing so well for us, markovic looka great imo.

I read a story that Ranocchia might be sold to Juventus. If that happens, the entire Inter board should lose there jobs. On what planet do you sell your best defender to your most hated rival?
