We are signing Joao Mario and Gabigol...
Have no clue how helpful they can be, but we definitely need some blood in our vessels, beside Candreva.
Well we need another player who can play up top and Gabigol has potential. His stats are not bad for 19 year old and tbh striker are hard to come by, I'll take him because Eder is not cutting it. His not a lone striker and he struggled in the last game. Joao Mario can play in a 2 man or 3 man MF, either way the guy provides energy in the MF, something we lack. He can push the ball from the MF and provide in attack, a real team player. Anyone who watched him during the Euro final will know the guy ran for 120 minutes non stop, insane stamina. Both are quality signing and I'm sure they can contribute.

Possible line-up:

Perisic------Icardi--------Canderva---

Joao Mario-----Medel--------Banega---

Nagatomo--Murillo----Miranda---Ansaldi
-----------------Handanovic-------------

Subs: Gabigol, Kondogbia, Eder, Melo, Palacio, Jovetic, Rannochia

We have a good starting XI and a a good solid bench that can contribute.

Cheivo were always going to be tough to break. Inter looked ok during the first half, nothing much to talk about. Second half, Cheivo picked up the tempo and Inter lacked urgency, chemistry and fitness. The guys looked gassed during the second half. Ball watching on the first goal, really shocking defending.

De Boer has had such a short time here but pressure, pressure. His got to get these guys up to speed, honestly thought Inter could have lost 5-0 if it was a tougher opposition. Hopefully we can tie down at 2 two more players in J. Mario and M. Sissiko. If De Boer is to play a 4-3-3, were going to really need more MFs that are more dynamic and can contribute more to attack, with pace and stamina.
Birsa must've had an inspired game as he looked like a world class midfielder against that inter lol! but it was your typical 101 intro for Serie A teams, sit back, soak up pressure and hit on the counter, impressive how Maran managed to dismantle that inter side with just 45 mins! eitherway, with excuses aside, except for Inters best chances falling to their CB's, sometimes you need certain incidents to fall into your favour to win a game where you're struggling but it was refreshing seeing Banega on the field, Candreva did really look like he just came back from injury and Eder seemed at loss as a wide man, i still think Medel is best suited as CB... Joao will be a welcome addition as of now there aren't any other wide men at inter equally as good as Candreva or Peri... and with Sissoko, inter can get back to a 4-3-3 and have Banega just play behind either Sissoko and Joao or infront of Sissoko and Kondo... can't wait to see Ansaldi in the team as he could also bring something new into the team...
We really might just have top quality team with a decent bench. Although I really hope we don't see more of Eder in the wing again. He really struggled. Can't wait to see Perisic back, his coming off a great Euro.
Eder plays the best as a second striker, and definitely need Perisic's speed on wings.
with the first game of the season just around the corner and most of the pundits not having a clue about how inters season will go, you'd hope inter can take advantage of the fixture and get three wins on the row before they come up against Juve and use that game as a benchmark untill mid november where they'll come up against Viola, Milan and Napoli... after that it's already the second part of the season... they'll have advantage because of the spotlight being on Juve and Roma but if they focus on their game they might actually end up in a good position for the second half of the season... however Chievo will be a tough first opponent but you'd hope inter won't burn themselves out and will be well prepared for the game!
I expect you guys to finish in the top 3 this year.
if it's true they're targeting both Sissoko and M. Joao then it could be an interesting season, as both Joao and Sissoko can easily fill up the roles of playing outwide which should give great cover up for Candreva and Peri and both of them can play as CM! with Sissoko more as a DM/AM... alongside Banega and Kondo, inter could have a solid line up, at least on paper... then if they go after Tevez and they do a straight swap with Palacio, then game over... most of the money will come from perhaps the sales of Brozo and Jojo which should balance the team out nicely...
Joao Mario looked fantastic in the Euros. He can be the difference maker for sure.
Tevez is unlikely, I just read that he refused Napoli I think. He just wants to stay in Argentina.
But if you keep Icardi and get Joao Mario with a very good coach, I think Napoli will be out of the 3 next year.
Not sure what's taking Inter so long with their transfers. I would have hopped both Joao Mario and Moussa Sissoko would join Inter before the season started. Inter need to finish shopping and work on team chemistry, we need everyone together.
Already excited to see De Boer's Inter. I'm sure we will see more attacking football.
not sure if his inter will do any better than mancini's, comsidering he only has Candreva and Peri outwide and with Melo and Medel not suited for deeplying playmaker, he'll be forced to use Banega as regista which only leaves Kondo as the only viable DM.. much like Mancini he'll need another CM/DM/PM and with only two solid wingers, he'll pray that they stay injury free throughout the season! he'll probably keep Eder as winger and i'm not sure if Jojo will gladly sit on the bench another season so Bia and Palacio will be his second options... i'm mostly curious about how Mira and Muri will hold up in defence, if Erkin is any good and if Brozo can suprise and raise his game even more by being that CM/DM that Inter are currently lacking...
Mancini left because he didn't get who he wanted, he was probably frustrated because he was made some promises. Goes to show, he didn't even look up for it during pre-season, guess I was right about him leaving before the season starts.

As for De Boer, time will tell. Don't know much about him but the Eredivise and the Serie A are certainly different. Tts going to be new challenge for him. It might take him a while to adjust but crossing my fingers we can stay injury free because we really lack depth. Considering he used many of his young players during his Ajax days, maybe he'll bring up a few from Inter's primavera. Although I don't know much about the primavera team.
if a coach resignes that means he is fully aware of he had reached the finishing line with what he could do with his team or he himself didn't feel up to challenge anymore but let's be honest it's not exactly as Pep walking out on Barca or Bayern after almost having won everything so in his case it means this team isn't better than a 4 spot, which isn't good for inters management that wants to get the team back to CL... if they're serious and wants the team to do better than 4 spot, they'll at least have to get some of the players De Boer wants, since they've hired him, they must've agreed on the same transfer targets... too bad about Mancini as I felt he really worked well with what he was given but once you've coached teams like City, with infinite cash, albeit he did sign Augero, Silva and Yaya but Inter with it's FFP and new owners already having spend ton of money in purchasing the club, it would take awhile before they'd invest... if he was patient and got results this season, perhaps he could've won Suning over... I think De Boer is a gamble and i'll wait and see how Napoli and Roma do on the transfer market and if Icardi remains before predicting if this team can finish in top 3 let alone if Inter will start looking for a new coach before the winter break...
If Sunning took over instead of Thohir, Mancini would be getting the players he wanted but its tough because managers today get no time. That's why Mancini wanted his players now, he knew the start of the season was important in the race for a top 3 place and getting those players was crucial. I really did want Mancini to stay because team chemistry is important, constantly bringing in a new manager does no good for the players.
looks like at least Ranoch seems to have found his feet after his loan spell at Samp, which means Inter doesn't have to look for another defender with Medel and Ansaldi at the club... too bad that the same can't be said about Dodo but with the window about to close and unless there are a few surprises towards the end, i'm guessing it's true that Mancini must have left because of him not getting the players he wanted... but in all honesty, Inter did miss out on Dybala and I'd be curious to know what other players Mancini wanted at Inter...

Joao for 45 mil sounds a lot, even if he is only 23 and him getting a 3 Mil salary, signing Yaya doesn't sound so bad right now! I wish Mancini the best of luck as he did really well and you could tell he did put in a shift at Inter, perhaps he didn't get the support or result he wanted and it was no use in sticking around if he felt different to the owners...

for De Boer it'll be a tight race for third with Napoli, unless Napoli get their hands on Icardi unless Inter sell Icardi for a huge sum and not all of that money goes to getting Joao... however I feel Roma might win this season, specially if Juve stutter again as they did last season, Higuain doesn't deliver and they don't find an adequate replacement for Pogba...
Its been confirmed, Mancini was sacked and De Boer is coming in. Considering De Boer uses different systems but likes to play from the back and use his wingers, its going to be interesting to see what his plans are for Inter and if his going to bring to in more players of his choosing.
Seems Manco is finally walking toward exit door. YAY!!!!
Wow, bad timing. Right before the kick off for the new season. Looks like Mancini is out and De Boer is coming in.
I'm surprised that De Boer even took the job and how quickly it went, weren't they talking about a contract extension for Mancio? they must've been dragging their feet with Mancio and worked separately with Boer behind his back... Serie A isn't an easy league, just look at Benitez after his somewhat successful spell at Liverpool but with Boers track record in holland, his playing days in Barca and being brought up and involved in hollands system's style of play... he'll have the edge in Serie A not knowing much about his style of play but the same could be said about his experience of Serie A, he is lucky he has Gregucci as AC but I wonder if he'll bring his own staff with him...
Diego Costa? really? how is he on the market and why hasn't At. Madrid snapped him up!?! if Icardi does leave, i'm keeping my fingers crossed for him! he has gained weight and with Conte wanting to cut him loose, i take it as he is disruptive in the dressing room but he reminds me of Vieri so much and is almost your typical, classical Serie A ST, wonder how the team would implode if Inter fielded Berardi, D. Costa and Candreva!?!
Atleti signed Gamerio, probably why they didn't sign Costa. I think the deal was taking to long and Atleti weren't going to wait around for him. Don't see him coming here but him at Inter, it would be insane. Could easily notch 25+ in his first season.
WOW...losing to Tottenham with 6 goals, even on friendly match, is a shameful result.
Time for Manco to pack his bag and leave Inter alone. He is simply so poor, just like 2 previous seasons.
Mancini won't be at Inter long even if Inter manage to do well this upcoming season. His a tough manager to please, he wants what he wants and if he doesn't seem pleased, his not up for it.

I'm going to try to watch the full game but conceding 6 goals in a friendly, even if it was against Barca, its pretty embarrassing. Inter have yet to even manage a single win in all the friendlies so far, not even against the American side, Real Salt Lake. Mancini needs to prepare this guys for the new season fast!
it's still a friendly, it won't matter much come the season start, in the old days there was a certain tournament that was played, 45 mins between Milan, Juve and Inter, always made it a good watch with many stars and their big new signings making a good introduction and some of the players leaving early mark on each other, sparking some great grudge for the derby's... some even physically! now losing 6-1 in those games would be embarrassing but with all the traveling, inter not having greath depth in squad, most of the main starters just getting back into the team and not to mention the transfer window still open... i'd wait at least three matches into serie A season before calling for Mancini's head...
Well, looks like we completed the Canderva move. Finally, a quality RW that the team needed for such a long time. The fee has yet to be announced but last time I heard it rumored to be 25mil. Nevertheless, he provides goals and assists. Must keep Icardi, no matter what. The only thing missing at this point is someone who can play up top with Icardi.
at least with the internationals at appiano and some of the ones in the states, mancini can at least field a solid starting 11 now, it won't have depth but if they stay injury free and can stand up to the demands of playing in Serie A, EL and Coppa, they should be able to achieve some good results with this team... it'll mostly come down to team work and the mental aspect but neither did Leicester, Borussia and At. Madrid have a team of stars but they managed to triumph... keeping reading about this kid called Gabigol, looks a lot like Morata, no wonder Juve are after him also but if he can work on his shooting, his right foot-work and learn to be defensively solid, he could be good signing, he'll have Candreva and Peri to learn from so he is in good hands if he applies himself but I wonder if Mancini will also get his hands on another midfield player and it's tricky with inter only having 1 non-eu slot lol!
Marcos Rojo on the transfer list for Utd. Would be great if Inter could opt for a back 3, push Rojo in LWB position, have Perisic and another player playing right behind Icardi, with a MF of Kondo, Brozo and Banega.
Rojo never really settled in at Man U, he had a great wc but his lack of defensive ability really cost him his place, at times looked out of place in Man U, perhaps even tactically inept, perhaps la liga suits his style more but he could thrive in serie a if he could adapt to one role and if he develops as Muri did at Inter, he could go for a huge sum in the future... but again, inter only has 1 non-eu slot left and by the looks of things, they're waiting on selling big before they make any purchases... but having Candreva and Peri outwide and those three in midfield with Jojo-Eder upfront could be a solid team...
