Finally! GO on Barbosa! GO ON!
Too bad Roma and Napoli are in high spirit, specially Napoli that looked like a completely different team in Serie A, you'd wonder if this tempo will burn them out or if they'll continue on this form until they knocked out from europe and concentrate on finishing in top 3, besides kudos to Atalanta and Lazio have changed tune since they last won against Inter in the coppa... even Milan are slowly bouncing back but its harder to tell with them... that loss against Juve really shows on the table, which makes the Roma game that more important but with Icardi back in the team and dare i say it, even Kondo... then perhaps it'll be an interesting test of which team has the 'big team' mentality...
Kondo has looking better in recent times, still looks clumsy but the effort and tenacity is there. I gotta love that about him.

As for the rest of the league, were really in tight situation. The teams below us aren't slowing down and the teams above aren't giving up. This could draw out until the end of the season. All Inter can do now is not lose anymore games.
6 points to third spot is doable, specially considering the though fixture Roma and Napoli will have in Serie A, Coppa and CL with EL... I'd give it 8 games before throwing in the towel, if Inter can stack up the points until the Derby against Milan, with the Roma game being a chance to reedem themselves after the Juve game, it can be nail biting end to the season or it can fizzle out before we reach round 32...
Man Suso is doing really well at Milan. Always knew he was going to spark eventually, his crossing is top notch and grabs loads of assists for himself.
a complete turn around for him, wouldn't say he is yet a complete player, not on your superstar Figo level but he reminds me of Papu Gomez of Atalanta, if he specialises in free kicks and whips those crosses in with accuracy, I'm sure BPL teams will look at him again, also not to forget Bona who has been a solid utility player for Milan, hugely underrated and keeps that Milan forward and midfield ticking... Montella is building a solid, technically gifted, young team at Milan, would be a huge dissapointment if they sack him come summer, if that big money sale comes through... with a few adjustment and purchase of quality defensive players, Milan can play some pretty neat football...

Also Shick of Samp, looks like a rough diamond, his finishing reminds me of when Icardi used to play for Samp... than again, Belfodil looked equally promising...
Suso lacks the strength that's his issue. He would need to bulk up a bit to go back and play at a top level in the PL. Although technical ability, the kid is really good.
with his height and him depending on his agility, it would be a no go for him to bulk up, just look at Augo, he has bulked up so much but taken so much damage that he isn't the same anymore, almost like he is playing at max 80 %, he still has that touch for goal but you see him rarely fully fit... than again not everyone can be a Messi, i still get amazed at how he easily steps past huge defenders with his physique... i think if he works on his finishing and gets a couple of more goals, he can make a name for himself on the big stage...
His not that short, his a good 5'9 as listed. I remember when he played in the PL he would get knocked off the ball like a fly. Some strength to hold others off would do him good, just don't bulk up to much. Lol, Aguero looks like he has a hard time carry his own legs because they look like bricks.
Top marks for Eder! would've been a different game without him and Handa bailing Inter out from dangerous chances, Empoli could've easily walked away with a draw thanks to Skorupski, what a goalkeeper! also applauds for Kondo, still looks a bit akward with him rushing play as he does but you can already tell how the game flow is better when he atleast attempts it rather than holding up play as he does... Muri-Medel-Gagli played a solid game but a bit dissapointed with Ansaldi and Miranda that played with heavy legs and looked very slow, any other good team would've exploited their side and come away with a goal, also with the amount of cards Ansaldi has been recieving this season due to bad timed tackles or technical fouls isn't good for the long run... its easy to see why Pina has been getting raw reviews as he looked more likely to score a goal and was involved in the play with good effort whereas Barbosa looked more desperate for a goal than anything else, although you still feel bad for him with the way Jesus has been playing for City... besides with is up with Joao and Candreva? their link up is so bad and there were so many missed opportunities from Joao to Candreva...
Yeah Pina looked really good. Like I said, I want this kid to stay at Inter. Top young prospect. As for Joao, not sure, his been hot some games and cold the other, still might be transitioning but Ansaldi has kind of disappointing me this season. Expect more from him but hopefully his best days are ahead.

Eder has stepped up, glad to see him doing really well, his a good player but has suffered from inconsistency. As for Barbosa, he needs to chill out. I get he wants to score goals and its probably not easy when G. Jesus is killing it in the PL, he feels he must do the same. His got good technique and is a talented player but just needs to let the game flow naturally and it will come to him. I honestly do hope he finds a goal in the next game, I'm pulling for him.

Overall, tricky game but a great victory nonetheless. Inter have to keep going that gap between 4th and 8th place is only 5 points, god damn!
Ref was sheat and we were not expecting something different since we were playing against their team. We should have buried those chances in the first half and change the gear to direct play in second half, but we failed.
Also, seeing new line-up for such a game was quite surprising. Not talking about bad subs that slowed down our game.

You can't fault anyone for that Cuad goal, everything came together well to set it up... you would think Inter were the champions and Juve the underdogs with the way Juve defended in the second half but it's expected with the form Inter are in and Juve having won the league 5 times already, Inters time will come, after all they won 7 of their last Serie A games... the subs were under pair but I was more surprised with how Muri was good at FB as I thought he was the weakest link in the first half and D'Ambro just proved that he is better at CB, really strange, considering their natural position... It's so assuring to have Medel and Gagli on the field but the combo Gagli-Brozo just didn't work that night, as both of them were off synch and Joao fell off towards the second half... Pioli will surely walk away with much from this game, which can only serve good for the next games...

a draw would've been good but as Interista you wouldn't even be happy with that result, considering their current form and you'd hope Inter would demolish Juve and as veterans as Juve are, they showed that Inter team the kind of respect to come away with a win... next up is a must win against Empoli with 15 games to go of the season and having to quickly get back in the race for third spot...
400 mil? plus Conte? I'd take Berardi, Bernad, Veratti and J. Rodriguez... minus Conte, as any good coach could do well with those players in the team... besides in a league where Juve have been dominant but are on the downside right now and the likes of Roma and Napoli are the ones grabbing hold of CL spots, you really don't need that much spending power, unless you're getting the same revenue as Real and Barca in Spain... rather model the team after BPL teams, they should look to Spain and the same approach as Bayern has had in Germany when it comes to management... besides I'm hoping Pioli gets a win this wkend for all the work he has done up until now, he really deserves recognition for his work...
That defeat really took out the momentum Inter had, rather than guessing what the score will be, everyone seems to be talking about what kind of effect the Lazio game will have on Inter, eitherway, if Juve approach the game, the same way Lazio did and Inter come unprepared, it will be a tough game... also keep reading about how Pioli has given Inter an identity but ive yet to see it, ive seen some players play with freedom and ease but i havent seen them play for each other or together as Lazio did that night...
I'm sure Pioli is doing his homework right now but I hope it doesn't effect the run of form the team has been playing in the league. Sure its not amazing football but the team needs nothing more than wins right now. I don't care how we get it, just get the damn wins.

This test against Juve will be saying a lot about Inter's Pioli. No one expected Inter to get a win against Juve last time around, so I guess anything is possible at this point. Just crossing my fingers, we can get one over them again.
Kondo is very slow, and very bad at decision making...Gotta go!
Not an Inter material at all...
I would've loved to see Barbosa play but Eder would've been a safer bet than Palacio, it goes to show that Inter desperately needed Gagli, or any good DM for that matter, they struggle hugely, would've been better with Medel as DM but it's easier to be clever in hindsight, you'd hope this loss serves as a warning of how all of their good work can come undone if they don't stay focused in Serie A... besides, Lazio were desperate for that win and it'll be a thrilling semi for the Roma city with that derby and a place in the finals at stake...
Tough loss but at least that's out of the way. Serie A focus from this point on. I was hoping Kondo would have been sold and someone else would have been brought into the MF to rotate with Gagli but doesn't seem like it.
Who would have thought, with the way Inter started, Inter are now 6 points from 1st place. Still a long way to go but a turnaround. Hoping AC Milan and Atalanta don't pick up 3 points tomorrow.
Milan was also on a good run and since then hit a wall, Lazio are crumpling and Viola are turning things around, it's still early days and will take at least 10 more games before Inter can settle for a realistic target and work towards it... with 6 points they can also find themselves in 9th spot! I don't want to take anything away from their recent result but even with a win against Juve they won't even allow other teams close to them to challenge them for first spot, those 6 points will count the most against Roma and Juve in their fixture but the most important matches will be aginst Atalanta, Samp and then with the Derby not to mention their clash again with Napoli...
