We. Are. Back! Albeit it's just Europa, but still. It's been too long out of Europe and now we finally get to watch our Rossoneri play midweeks again! First true step back to revival!

And the new management already making big moves for next season. Musacchio just finished his medical, and we already have deals in place for both Kessie and Ricardo Rodriquez! Like wow, we'd usually have to wait until the final day of the transfer window to make moves, this is exciting!

Now about the rest of the replacements. The top three targets for striker are Morata, Aubameyang, and Belotti, while the top options for the winger position are Keita Balde, Papu Gomez, Thauvin, or possibly bringing back Deulofeu. What are your favorite targets?

You're a trooper man, never say die attitude with this chat. Can I ask you how Deulofeu did this season?
Thanks man! Even though footytube in general is slowing dying, I'm hoping a few Milan fans come around and try to revive this page to its glory days. Hopefully this new era can help with that!

Deulofeu is probably the biggest reason we're in Europa for next season. His ability to beat defenders with speed and either play a dangerous ball in or finish for himself was tremendous. He had games where he was too selfish, but that wasn't too much of a bother considering the talent around him was lacking most of the time. In our recent winless streak, he did seem switched off a lot of the time, idk if it's all the rumors surrounding the club or just shaky mentality. Still though, I'd take him permanently in a heartbeat. If he does stay at Barca, I hope he still gets plenty of time behind Messi and Neymar; he's still a bit of a work in progress and could use all the game time possible.

Aha you're quite hopeful as well. It's hard to see this site getting any more life but I guess you never know.

Reading that has me torn between bringing him back and being the primary backup to leo/ney and letting him stay to truly develop into his own player at AC Milan. He was really raw at Everton and as you said is still inconsistent at times (understandable for his age) but he really seems to be flourishing here.
Good f*****g job to keep fighting until the very last kick of the game! This season is different primarily because of the team's "never say die" attitude. Love it! Inching closer to that European spot, especially with Inter merda's grueling schedule remaining. We can do this!

Oh, and thank you Berlusconi & Galliani for your years of service and a plethora of silverware. Grazie Signori! Onto a new era!
What an absolute bullshit call man...

We seem to be on a pretty good run now despite how nervy we end those games, but 7 points out of 9 is very good in the race for a European spot. We've bridged the gap from Inter to one point, and despite all odds, a CL spot is 7 points away with 12 matches to go...

I thought Vangioni would never be able to recover from that miserable display against Lazio, but he's looked better the last two games. Wish we'd see more of Gomez, but Zapata has done well enough in place of Romagnoli. I wish we didn't spend second halves just trying to close out games in defense instead of getting the insurance goal, but we need results and beggars can't be choosers. We should beat Chievo, but then we gotta go to Juventus stadium, and after that we get a reasonable stretch against Genoa, Pescara, and Palermo before having Inter, Roma, and Atalanta in 3 of 4 matches. We really need to keep this run going as it seems the European spots will be decided in those weeks...
This has been one roller coaster ride after another this season for Milan
Yup...
What a wacky f*****g game... scoring the game winner in the final minutes while be down to 8&1/2 men! It's disappointing that we start a lot of games hot then find some way to self-implode (Paletta...), but thank god they kept their fighting spirits this time. Really impressed with Deulofeu and Pasalic, both here on dry loans with uncertainties in their futures and yet playing their heart out for the badge on the shirt! Really hope we manage to keep them.

But a lot went wrong today. The team needs to be more disciplined, especially with their tackling; I think we have the most red cards this season. We've lost Romagnoli and Poli to injuries, hopefully their not out for too long... and we have two very important games coming up against Lazio and Fiorentina, where we'll most likely have to see Gomez & Zapata start in the back... very crucial for fighting an European spot

- I agree, both Geri and Pasalic played fantastically, spirit wise. Pasalic missed a couple of sitters, but the positioning in the goal, was great, just look at the run, all the way from the mid line. Really hoping to keep both, around 40 mil, eye?

-I attribute the discipline, or lack-there-of, to our recent poor run, and lack of confidence. They are under pressure to get out of the poor run, so they lack quickly and most likely, irrationally.

-Lazio and Viola's games could decide our season, with almost our entire starting squad injured, or out due to suspension, we have it tough, but I believe. I believe in Zapata and Gomes, I have a feeling they'll do well together. Vangioni has been good so far, so the loss of MDS isn't that concerning. Our main issue lies within the midfield. I believe Bertolacci's gonna start, so he gotta step up.

-One more note, I am excited about Ocampos, actually. I want to see more of him, with Geri as false 9.
Ocampos-Geri-Suso.

Man, reading this after the Lazio game makes me realize we both went in with too much optimism haha... That front three looked extremely lost and confused the whole 1st half, especially Ocampos; terrible debut, surprised he was given 5 mins after the half to keep playing tbh. Both Zapata and Gomez were shaky the whole game, which is fine for Gomez he's new to the league without much experience, but there's really no excuse for Zapata. And Vangioni... oh my god he was basically nonexistent. I'd much rather just play Calabria there, kick Vangioni out of this club! I hope that's the last Galliani signing ever...

And thank the almighty lord for Donnarumma! Singlehandedly kept us in the game, even if he conceded the penalty kick (though that's mostly the fault of Vangioni and Zapata, they were humiliated by Anderson and Immobile). I really don't know how we'll keep him at the club, we really don't deserve his talent right now...

And thanks to Suso, feels like he always pulls a goal/assist out of his butt. Just take the point and run, because they're gonna need a whole different approach against Fiorentina and the rest of the season
+1
Disappointing.
Not only we got knocked out of the Coppa, but we've potentially lost the shot to finish in a CL spot this past week... For all the progression we've seen this season from Montella and Milan, there is still a lot of work to do before we compete for the league or a CL spot. We've been playing our best game only after we concede and that cannot continue on! We need to be playing our best from the first minute. And Locatelli, man... He just came back from yellow card suspension, he really needs to be less reckless. I know he's only 18, but he should know how important he is to our midfield and cannot be that careless...
+1
Man oh man, unless the top 3 screw up, we just lost the CL race. I am gutted, but oh well. forza milan
Even worse news came up today... We lost Bonaventura for pretty much the rest of the season and De Sciglio also out for awhile... Unbelievable! With no replacements coming in (Ocampos? Meh...) and the lack of depth this squad is already been plagued with, even a Europa League spot seems all but gone... man, why couldn't we've gotten that Chinese money already...

Oh, and f**k De Paul... true scum. Should've been sent off, instead gets the winner because we were forced to play with 10 men
+1
Great match in the Coppa! Really wish Lapa could have gotten his goal though, unbelievable miss...

Montella has brought back the winning mentality to this team, that's 2 games in 3 that we've come from behind to win! Before this Milan team would crumple and fall apart as soon as they conceded so it's fantastic that that has changed! Forza!
+1
Second that!
I love the way the team plays even more aggressively when they go down, it is apparent that they want to win, hungry for it even, and I love it. Next few games are crucial, Torino away, Napoli home, and Juve away (coppa), if we somehow manage to win all three, it will surely send a message.

On a side note, been a while since I visited this forum. Forza milan!
+1
Yeah this forum seemingly died as Milan struggled the past 3 years. Maybe we can get it back? Doubt it though seeing as this whole website has gone down the shithole...

Today's rematch was bad, thank god we got a point out of it. Those two goals we conceded are as bad as they get, praise Donnarumma for keeping us in the game after the penalty! Hosting Napoli without Locatelli and Romagnoli will be a tough task... we definitely can't play from behind if we want to salvage something out of this game
+1
Yea the whole forum thing is dying nowadays, unfortunately. As far as getting it back is, I know I'll be sticking around here a while.

The match was awful, the first half, eventhough we technically played well, our defense was just awful. One issue I keep seeing in our game style is that our team does not know how to finish, as well as, they get nervous and not know what to do in attacking situations. There is not a proper plan, just do what you think is right, take Suso's last attack of the game, he could have passed it any where, instead he shot it wide. If we only fix that, we will be good.

Napoli without Locatelli and Romagnoli is tough man, very tough, and playing defensive against them wouldn't work, the only way I see us winning the game is if we man mark and pressure their midfield, and we do not have players that could do that except for Kucka. So yea, gonna be a very tough game, especially for us to watch.

SUPERCOPPA CHAMPIONES!!!!

C'MON THIS IS THE START OF SOMETHING NEW, BRING BACK THE FORUM!!!!!

Excited to see us hungry again! We're just gonna keep getting better from here on out!

Back in business?? Nice to see old power houses on rise again.

lol scratch that
+1
Why?
Genoa thrashed them
That's expected from a very young squad, they're building a great team, atleast we have to appreciate that.
Getting Montella was key. He seems to be the only manager brought in that's actually getting them to play at a consistent level. He didn't even need to spend much, he had quality to work with, it was about getting a man who knows what his doing.
