Massive game against Wales tomorrow. COYBIG
The Fields Of Athenry

By a lonely prison wall
I heard a young girl calling
Michael they are taking you away
For you stole Trevelyans corn
So the young might see the morn
Now a prison lay waiting in the bay

Chorus:
Low lie the fields of Athenry
Where once we watched the small free birds fly
Our love was on the wing
We had Dreams and songs to sing
It's so lonely round the fields of Athenry

By a lonely prison wall
I heard a young man calling
Nothing matters Mary when you're free
Against the famine and the crown
I rebelled they cut me down
Now you must raise our child with dignity

Chorus

By a lonely harbour wall
She watched the last star falling
As the prison ship sailed out against the sky
Or she live in hope and pray
For her love in Botany bay
It's lonely around the fields of Athenry

Winter break and Ireland have to put the game at Celtic Park behind them. A huge game in March versus Poland to look forward to. The Aviva will be rocking.

Hey lads, how did u think Ireland did vs Italy? Personally I was quite proud with their performance after getting embarrassed in Euro 2012. That image of Balotelli bicycling over O'Shea is imprinted in my mind haha. Euro 2016 qualifiers will be exciting especially with Scotland in our group. Those matches will have a fantastic atmosphere.
Best i seen us playing in years.

Let's not get carried away just yet. If you can remember Staunton's first match in charge Ireland beat Sweden 3 - 0 and we all remember how badly his reign ended. I'm not comparing Staunton to Martin O'Neill as a manager, but Ireland do tend to put in a big performance to impress the new manager. I would agree with you though, we played well. The thing that was most pleasing for me was the team selection. Good work by O'Neill in that department.
Al last we'll have someone you cares about how we are going to play.
Exciting times to come for ROI
Martin O'Neill and Roy Keane

Get in their wohoooo Mouth watering Lads.
Bye bye Brazil.
....and bye bye Trapattoni.
