Klopp: "luckily, Manni IS an option for the game"

nice
I'm kinda scared about our defense line, it's still as problematic as last season so far... Ginter still needs time to adapt and Subo needs time to fully get back into the system... It's gonna be hard to cope with Ox and Sanchez, even Wellbeck who has got some pace on him...

I hope we score early and dominate the game with Arsenal chasing after the ball... That way we're golden. I'm kinda glad the attention will shift on Kagawa. I have faith Mikhi will deliver this season and be one of our key players. He just needs to time better the passes when he dribbles past the defense.

for tomorrow I say we bring this on:

Roman
Pisczek-subo-Papa-Durm
Kehl
Jojic
Auba-Kagawa-mikhi
Ramos

----------------- against
Tex
Chambers-merts-kos-gibbs/nacho
wilshere/Flamini/"Mr. perfect hair" Arteta-ramsey
Sanchez-Santi-Özil
Wellbeck
With Ox coming on later.

It will be fight for possession game.

Can't wait
I wouldn't be surprised if Wenger adds up a surprise factor, a hard working, backtracking Costa Rican Superstar. That could mess us up. I don't know why he hasn't gotten a real chance so far this season.
Campbell? I think he's overrated because of his WC performances. He's the sort of player who makes wrong decisions too often because of his lack of vision. I don't like those players; they seem to go blind when they get the ball and only have eyes for the goal. Perhaps I'm wrong, but in an Arsenal side with MUCH better team players like Sánchez, Cazorla, Özil, Walcott, Giroud and even Serge Gnabry (I like him), I don't think he'll be able to conquer a spot soon.

I just hope the home advantage doesn't turn out to be a disadvantage as it has been against Arsenal before :P
Two great teams going head-2-head, I just feel Wenger has no game plan come CL.
I do like Campbell though, at Olympiakos he was pretty great. His pre season wasn't bad either. I do get the point you stated, he sees red when he gets the ball and gets overconfident... Oh well...
It will be hard without him nonetheless.

I for once would love a match against Arsenal with both teams having their full squad available -.-
Imagine this on the counter in the middle of the game...

GK
Back 4
Gundogan
Kuba Kagawa Reus
Aubameyang Immobile

*Drools*......
^No Mkhitaryan No Game!
+2
But Kuba has more pace... :P
Cant wait for the game on Tuesday, as always it will be competitive as before, btw hows ur injurys going???
Reus out, Hummels out but might be back in time, Gündogan out, Kuba out, Sahin out, Ji out and Kirch out.

The usual :(
Damnnn, at least we get to see Shinji back at his best, dont even think he played against us while he was in MU colours, but he's back, and seems like firing in all cylinders like he was before
The best playmaker to ever grace our black and yellows is baaaaaaaaaaack!!!! Kagawa Shinji, Shalalala Shalalalalala!

-----Auba----Ramos---
Reus-----Shinji-----Miki
--------Gündogan-------
-----D-E-F-E-N-S-E----

Suck it München! I wouldn't trade our squad for yours in a 100 years! Here comes the first treble in club history! :D
+2
That's a pretty attacking squad you have there, especially with no Weidenfeller :D I'm hoping to see Manni back to his best this year as well. I've always really liked him. With Nuri/Ilkay, he can be the perfect partnership.
+1
Meh, who needs a goal keeper... with this squad the other team wouldn't ever get to touch the ball anyways. :D

I agree with you on wanting Manni back in the starting 11. He gives us perfect balance on defense. I'm just trying to squeeze all of our best players into the first 11 and for the first time since I've been a fan of Dortmund, it can't be done. Our squad depth is incredible this year, better than that of München and many other top international club! It's going to be a great year! :)
+1
I'm so happy to see Kagawa back with Dortmund. He will shine there.
Shinji's like: "Wow, so this is what it feels like to enjoy football again"

Also, Ramos:

I hope you've been watching him carefully today, MarkoPollo :D

One last one:
http://www.ibtimes.co.uk/manchester-united-target-mats-hummels-refused-release-clause-option-borussia-dortmund-contract-1464926
Mats apparently wants to stay with us forever, unless a club pays whatever Dortmund wants for him, because he refused a buy-out clause, hoping it would set an example for the rest (*cough*Marco*cough*). Awesome.
It almost seems inevitable that Bayern Munich will try and lure Marco Reus away from Borussia Dortmund. After having lost Mario Gotze and Robert Lewandowski to them, it would be catastrophic if Reus was next in line.

Fortunately, Real Madrid can help...
+1
Lol, I'd like that. You guys and Manchester United do a great job of messing up top players, so Marco will inevitably return after a year or two of roaming the world until his love for his real fans and teammates will stir up, causing him to return to Dortmund for a fraction of his value, a hero once more.
+4
"You guys and Manchester United do a great job at messing up top players", may I ask who you have in mind?

Kagawa, absolutely, who else? Fellaini?! lol
Veron is the only one "top player" I can think of. Pogba came from the academy and the club desperately wanted him to stay.

I get that you're upset about Kagawa's stay at United, I'm just as upset myself believe me, but that's pushing it.
Barca has also had their share of unsuccessful transfers, like Ibra, Hleb, or (to a lesser extent imo) Overmars, Song (who was Arsenal's top 3 best players before he left and rotted on the bench) etc., but I wouldn't say they ruin top players.
Some transfers work and others don't, for many reasons.

Anyway, I'm so happy for Shinji! I absolutely adore the guy and really hope he gets back to his old form at Dortmund!
It was a comment made in jest, Badge my man :) I thought it would be funny to reply with a joke to the obvious joke of Reus leaving for Real ;)
+2
Haha, yeah.... Ramos was absolutely brilliant today. The better Lewandowski!

In my defense... I did say a while back that out of the two (Immobile vs. Ramos) , I see more value in Ramos. My critique in buying Ramos stems waaaay back to March when we first signed him and I was still hoping that we would just go for one superstar striker ala Ballotelli instead of splitting our money between Ramos and what ended up being Immobile.

But that is all just distracting from what matters... Ramos was fantastic today and I see him as a starting forward next to Auba who is still my No. 1. :D
Balo? You would honestly want him? I think the man is the most overrated player in the world. His main contribution to all the teams he's played for is a disruption of the team's work ethic in the first place. That alone cancels out his amazing potential, which he'll never reach because he's lazy, spoilt and only ever plays well when he wants too. And even then, he's not *that* good that he decides games on his own the way true stars can. He'll only make Dortmund better if he joins Bayern :P

Anyway, my dislike of erratic and spoilt players asides, we have none of those here anyway, I'm just really happy with the way we've been playing so far. And with the smiles of Shinji, we simply can't be disappointed this season ^^
Okay Jeroen, I'll let it slide this time :P

...I'm watching you...

LOL seriously though, I really hope Reus stays in Dortmund. Hopefully Shinji and Sahin coming back to Dortmund will show him that no good can come out of leaving that club.
Gotze and Lewa will learn that lesson soon as well ;)
+1
If anyone can straighten Balo out and instill fighting spirit in him, it would have been Klopp... and with that, I don't think anyone would deny, that Balo could be one of the best strikers in the world some day.

I would have loved to see him in our squad, especially for the "small" fee he ended up leaving for, but in the end WKZ were all the wiser again... as always lol. Kagawa was the missing puzzle piece and with that having a cold blooded finisher up top in Immobile is going to be gold. And we now have option in more and different type of forwards. All is good in the world!
Woot Woot Kagawa. What did I tell you guys?
Jeroen, now you have to admit it was a good thing we got Kagawa back huh? :p
+2
Haha, yeah, it was! To be honest, I said it would be a good deal if we got him for €10m or less, and we did. But when rumours were solidifying and when he eventually signed again, I would've been thrilled even if he had been three times as expensive. With Shinji, I always thought/knew it was a matter of faith in himself, faith that a good manager needs to radiate to his players. He never got that from SAF or Moyes.
