Wanted to hear your opinion about this guys,do you really believe Hummels will leave in the summer?

My opinion is that he'll stay with us though admittedly I've been scared a bit with rumours circling around these days that he's gonna leave the club and now this...
I think he will stay for 1 more year, then bvb will sell him for the last year of his contract. Mats is one of my fav players and it would hurt to see him wear another color then yellow. If he stays or goes, we still need to do some defender shopping.
Hi. How many of the goals you conceded this season would you say it's Hummels fault?
All of them, don't buy him.

lol tho I was being serious. squawka let me know that he had only made one defensive error this season in 17 games, granted it ended up in a goal, nonetheless it's impressive considering how you fare this year.
here is my prediction for the summer:

bvb sell: MIKI, Ramos, Jojic or Bender, Maybe Kuba, Maybe Sotratis
bvb buy: a stricker and a RB ( i dont really follow players or teams others than bvb)

It it clear we need a new GK, help on the defense and a striker. I am not sure who we will turn to.

These are just my guesses so who knows if I am on point or far away. Anyone else have any predictions?

W-Lukas P, Hummels, Subotic, Schmeltzer/new signing, Sahin, Gundogan, Reus, Kagawa, Kample, Auba as our best line up

I wouldn't mind having our youth get some more action with the first team. I remember 2 years ago Marian Saar showed some potential vs OM in the champions league. I would like to see more performances like that from our youth moving forward.
Well, before posting my prediction - I would just note my opinion on yours:

- I definetely wouldn't sell Kuba, who,in my opinion,is better to be the preferred option above Kampl ATM.In the match vs. Hannover it was his first Bundesliga start (Not 100% sure but pretty sure) in a long time and he was essential in the build-up in BVB's first 2 goals(though essential in the build-up to Hannover's equalizer, unfortunately).

-That said,I really think we should send Jojic on loan before simply deciding to sell him.

-I wouldn't sell Sokratis or Bender either,I don't even know what would be the reason for it(?).

-Yeah,I think Mikhi's time at BVB is up and he should simply move on and look to regain his confidence elsewhere.

And,well,about my predictions...

-We need to buy a RB,and IMO a cheaper, younger player should be the one to look for.

-We also need a new GK,definetely.Marc ter-Stegen doesn't seem too happy at Barcelona I suppose? Or maybe someone from the Bundesliga,I'd say Kevin Trapp would be a great fit.

-I don't know about buying a striker,I mean, yeah,we could make use of someone who can finish better than Auba, but then again,I'm not quite sure on that one.Any suggestions guys?

-I'd REALLY like to see more of Jeremy Dudziak.I know it's too early to say this but I think he may well be a future star of BVB.I think he has more potential than Durm.

Those are my thoughts about the matter.

I second KristijanT. Absolutely no reason to sell Bender or Sokratis. They provide much needed depth. Especially with Kehl retiring and our defensive injury problems.

Kuba is almost a club legend at this point. As long as he doesn't mind a little less playing time, he's probably the most creative player we have after Reus (and maybe Kagawa, though not really this season). Jojic on loan is also a much better idea than just getting rid of him after barely a season.

Mikhi needs to go. I would also offload Schmelzer. We need cover in both RB and LB positions. I would also loan out Dudziak though if possible. I doubt he'd get much playing time here soon. As for GK, we should definitely see who's available.
I agree with Jojic on loan. I really like that kid and I think he has a big upside. If he is on loan then in my thought process bender would stay. I really like Kuba and want him to stay, I just don't know if he will settle for less playing time. Its hard to tell with him because he is coming back from injury.

Just my thoughts.....
OFFTOPIC

Hey Jeroen, I see Club Brugge is doing quite well as of late!
How much of this success do you contribute to Refaelov? :P
Loads! Refa is arguably our most influential player. He scored a world class winning goal in extra time in the Cup final two days ago, check it out!

Victor Vázquez, the midfield maestro, is key too. As are Matty Ryan, our goalkeeper, our right-back Thomas Meunier (the one I mentioned a few months ago Dortmund should buy to replace LP in due time - he's like an experienced Durm) and our centre-backs Engels and Mechele. Actually there are many players who have been outstanding this season. But the ones I mentioned are the absolute key players IMHO.
Thanks for the broad answer!
I have seen the goal. Being from Israel, I'm immediately aware of any succeses of Israeli athletes around the world (not necessarily because I'm so interested. It just gets on the news right away) . Lior is actually the best one at the moment. He grew up just a few minutes from where I live.
Really happy for his success. Must've been amazing to have scored that goal that earned his team the cup.
I'll definitely be watching the rest of Club Brugge's Europa league matches
Yeah, Lior has been incredible this season. In previous seasons you could tell he was always performing a little less great than he could, now he's unleashed. I think he's actually been out best/most consistent player though a lot of players have been outstanding. Victor Vázquez is my favourite (he also nearly won the Golden Shoe in December - the award for the best player in Belgium), but Lior has performed really well in 3/4 games. He's been vital, for sure.

The whole team is super balanced and eager to win stuff like never before though; it's awesome to see. No one player is clearly sticking out, we work together like a clock. Mind you, we have a few very talented young players who might become absolute world class players though: Meunier and our young striker Obbi Oularé: he's 1m96, fast and skilled too and he seems to be a good professional eager to learn. He could become a Lewandowski-like player, but 12cm taller, one day. Mathew Ryan is also a really good goalkeeper, but I'm slightly hesitant to call him potentially world class (=top 5-10 goalkeepers) because he's only as big as I am: 1m82. He's still good and confident in the air despite that, though.

I guess I don't have to tell you who these two potential beasts are now? :) Belgium's future team might be even better than its wonderful present squad!
Some very interesting developments in Belgian football!
SO many misses at 3-1, then 3-2 and then it's time to get nervous.
We scored some beautiful goals but as usual, too loose in the back

I'd mention how we're only 5 points from an EL spot now but considering todays performance and who we're playing next I'm fairly certain those were the last few points we're getting in quite a while.
Anyone else here close to having a brain aneurysm?
no more Miki, I would have started Shinji, but oh well, we still got killed. Hopefully since we are no longer in the UCL, we can get better results in the bundesliga. Sad day.
More important than the BuLi is the Pokal. We're not gonna get a top 5 spot in the league anyway, might as well focus on a competition where we can still do well and qualify for Europe next season by winning it!
hugs all around
What. The. F*ck.

I considered calling in sick to work today so that I could watch this game. So glad I didn't.
