Great game guys! I wont blame Pep though. No Teams wins Back To Back CL (form is not permanent) Or else we could have won more CL with our legendary team under Pep. Injuries are meant to happen and it happened to us too. Last year you ran Into a stronger opponent and this year u ended up in the Wrong side of Messi in the First Leg. But its still not over. You guys have an amazing team under the Best Coach. Cheers all.
My respect to pretty much all of you for taking this loss like men. We played one of our best games and Messi played his best game of the season against the toughest opponents of the season.

Neuer proved that he is the best goalkeeper in the world, but even he will have to admit there's only one player who's the absolute best, and that's little Leo.

Good luck in the return leg, without all of your injuries the whole tie could've been the opposite of what it is currently, just like the 7-0 could've been very different if our players were all fit back then.
Season is over for Bayern. Decent season for the club's standards, but again with a big deflation and a consecutive big loss to another top european team in the end under Pep's management. This leaves a really bitter taste to any Bayern fan.

Thoughts on the comming future:

Time to find adequate replacement for Robben and Ribery. Their era is coming to an end (especially for the latter) and for the past five years Bayern's attacking philosophy was based on their wide play on the wings. Either we find someone appropriate to fill this huge gap or maybe we need to change the philosophy itself.

Pep's future at Bayern? He will have another shot in the comming season. He will not change his idea of the game but the team has stll potential to improve in that direction. We have witnessed glimpses of brilliance at Bayern under Pep's influence. But if he doesn't manage to reach the next UCL final or at least does not lose again so emphatically in the semis it will be his last.

Final note:
That's the game folks. Sometime you win like in 2013 and sometimes you lose. Sad thing is that you have to wait a year in between for the next chance.

See you after summer break! ;)

So this just hit me, following the 3-0 defeat to Barcelona. Who should we buy that can be a potential replacement for Robben and Ribery? Any ideas, Reus and Hazard?(Lol) Shaqiri was good, but in my opinion he didn't have the "it" factor.
There are too few players with that "it" factor you are refering to. Finding replacement for those two will be really, really difficult... and pricy!!!

Götze has been a huge dissapointment but he is still young. Hopefully he will step up during the next year. Selling Shaqiri and Kroos was a mistake imo.

Hazard would be my first choice but I dont think Chelsea will let him leave that easily.
Please get Hazard! To see him play for a coach like Pep after being molded into a strong energetic player by Mourinho would be the best step for his possibly incredible career. He's reached his top at Chelsea and would probably become a lot better still under a totally different top coach like Guardiola.

He's also worth spending a fortune on; he's got everything you want in a creative winger and could possibly score 2-3 times as often if used in an attacking team like Pep's built with technical players similar to himself.
Messi = God

Muahahaha :D

Of Religion.
I think we played well regarding our current situation
As it always is in champions league : you'll be punished for your mistakes. And that's it. Then we got steamrolled by the best football player atm.
I don't think there's anybody to blame for this. Maybe only God for injuring our best players just at the right moment.

You can compare our defeat tho to barcas defeat against us a few years ago. They were over their prime and some of our players surely are too. We need to take action - we definitely need some one who can replace Robben and ribery adequately

I was really impressed with the way we played, more impressed by our defence, until we collapsed of course.
Seriusly Benatia was a beast I am glad we have him, the way he intercept and tackles risking everything he surely is one of the best. Boateng did well too, of course til he met Messi on 1v1, tbf messi has humiliated the best defenders, Messi is a goat.
And Neuer was a wall, I was so impressed I laughed when he made those incredible saves and when he run out like a madman to shut down counter attacks, he was MOTM until Messi scored, Neuer cant save everything but he did more than any GK would have done.
And Thiago wasnt himself today he seemed lost, probably it was hard for him to play against his old club where he grew up.
We are maybe halway out of cl, but I hope we give them a fight to remember. We have to score 3 goals, but at the Allienz we are more dangerous and remember all the way to semi finals Bayern sucked at away, but we crushed them in home.
But of course without Robbery it seems almost impossible. I hope Bayern go all in to buy Hazard in this summer, I remember someone from our board saying that we can splash over 100 mill on one player
Hazard wants competitive league and is happy in Chelsea. its only Madrid can tempt him out of Chelsea and for now he is happy and not interested in any move.
You mean with competitive 3,4 teams on same average level and getting their ass kicked in CL against 10-man PSG?

6-0 is coming to Barca in 6 days
I'm not too sure mate. We pack mas punch these days :P
will see,but that was great game of football.hadnt bit lapse of concentration ,score could have been tight.Anyway cant wait for second leg
I am so excited about next weeks game, and nervous too. Bayern played a pretty solid game throughout the match, in the first half you guys covered our Busquets so well he got like 30 touches on the ball... INSANE. Nothing was going up to the forwards and on the long balls and dead balls Lewa and co. definitely had a couple of chances that made my hair gray lol.

Second half it started out by you guys looking the home team, Barca just absolutely struggling to connect simple passes instead choosing to go for the counter and long balls while giving the Possession to you guys.

And. Then.

Messi.

Great game.

PS. Neuer is hands down the best keeper in the world.
Yeah I agree. You guys deserved to win, but its sucks that we conceded 2 more goals at the end damn

Neuer shouldn't have put that ball into play after that dive by neymar, the red was gonna send him off. But instead bet at loses the ball and messi scores. Great.
+2
i blame Berant for losing the ball
+1
I don´t get why you guys aren´t more upset about this result. Neymar should´ve been sent off for diving, clearly. That means stop of play and no moment for that first goal. If it´s not a pen - then it´s a dive. Simple as that.

If i were a Bayern fan I´d feel hustled out of a game were both teams could have won it. Hope you beat them 4-0 at home.
I'm left with a really sour taste in my mouth. We could've nicked that. I even would've taken a 1 or 2 goal loss but 3 pisses me off
+3
Wow dude lol
It really is sad that that is all you took away from the game. Cheers for winning the English Title!
+2
Bar a deserved the win but f**k. I still feel the scoreline is a bit harsh on bayern
+2
Why run around and cry for what ifs when we can smash them at home. I have seen a great (and not injured) key player for Barca who made the difference today. We didn't have that luxury unfortunately. A more sensible "what if" would be: What if our key players were fit? But it doesn't matter now.
Injuries definitely affected this game for you guys. I wish that we had faced a fit Bayern team at full strength, that for sure would have been the game that gave us our revenge from that aggregate of 7-0 last time.

In any way... this was a great victory for Barcelona. I couldn't be happier with the result.

Who is going to be back by the next game?
Won't replay to that ' like me ' post .

I still think you guys were beaten by Messi brilliance , it was huge to play attacking football with such an injury list and you guys did put up a good fight .

It's opposite of what happened 2 season ago , i remember Messi was on bench and song started at campnou and most importantly we didn't had our manager ( tito ) . I still wish to see both team face each other at their best .
