someone already give PSG the UCL trophy...
no other teams can compete with them atm
7 wins out of 7 games since Jupp took over, hiring him was a fantastic decision after the disastrous start of the season. Now we are looking like a team, working hard as a unit, like we have a purpose when we have the ball. Its still early to say, but I am now optimistic about this season and looking forward to all games
Who do you think is the overall best player of your team so far this season?
Hard to say but its between Thiago, Coman or Javi.
Javi is killing it in midfield, cannot believe he was wasted on the bench as back up CB for 4 years...
Robben...
Back on track
Robben announced his retirement from his national team. Good news for Bayern fans.

Sucks to see The Netherlands miss out on the WC though. Always liked seeing them play.

Bild reports that Jupp Heynckes will be our coach till the end of the season. There were alot rumours that Bayern contacted Tuchel but it seems like he passed it because he didnt want to be interim coach cause Uli wants to bring Nagelsmann next season.
I love Jupp and everything he has done for this club, but I dont know how to feel about this. What do you guys think?
Bold move. Especially for Heynckes who retired at the best moment of his career. He has nothing more to win from this. Apart from that, for the current situation, he is the best option Bayern could wish for. Nothing else to say, we ll have to wait and see. Don't expect miracles though.
Agreed. We need him to fix the issues in the dressing room and play as a team, thats something we lacked this season and he is the right man to do that job
this is probably the saddest thing I can see happen to Ribery. Forced to retire because of an injury I was hoping to see him and Robben retire together at the end of the year. Wish you recover fast Franck wether he retires or not.. MIA SAN MIA!
Very sad to watch. Robbery are always fun to watch. Wish him a speedy recovery.
Ribery injured for good. The squad Couldn't even get 3 points against Hertha... Well, seems that s**t has truly hit the fan. Hell of a season this is becoming.
Riberys career seems to be over..

we need a complete reconstruction

we need to get Leo Goretzka, Griezman and Carrasco
You know there are serious problems in the squad and sacking Carlo wasn't the best option imo
If someone with so much exp was struggling, how does one expect willy sagnol to change the fortunes of the club?
+1
^ agreed
@Vaaz, if Carlo would have stayed things would have definitely gotten worse in time, players turned against him and stopped listening to him.. it would have been like a virus spreading out through the team
Traditionally, Bayern is not a team to let go of someone so quickly however in this specific situation the board decided to act immediately as things would have gotten out of hand if they waited
His tactics clearly were not working if there were any.. the team had a significant regress since Ancelotti took over most of it has to do with our aging/transitioning team.. and that part board is responsible for. we failed to replace quality with quality and the board is realizing that but I doubt if they change their philosophy at this point of time
+2
Shame Carlo didn't work out. At first i thought it was crazy and so unlike Bayern.. i mean.. a lot can change from now til February. Bayern can still very realistically win a treble if they hit top form by Janaury. But then realized it's most likely the relationship with some of the players that forced the board's hand.

The worst part is that Carlo is generally loved by his players. A healthy relationship in the locker room is his specialty. It's been that way with all his clubs. If reports are to be believed, Madrid players were literally begging Perez not to sack him.

Whatever the case, yesterday was a real disaster. He really made a mess of that. Anyone in particular you guys excited to see take over?
+3
at this point im not too sure who would be worthy of taking over ...
Arsene Wenger
+3
I heard Pardew is available.
+1
I am pretty sure that it's going to be Tuchel
a german...or someone close to bayern. i think they'll go for the cultural factor because there just are not that many top coaches available. maybe get LvG in again? :D. He is supposedly good at whipping a team into shape so the next guy can profit.
http://www.espnfc.com/bayern-munich/story/3215502/carlo-ancelotti-to-depart-bayern-munich-following-paris-saint-germain-defeat-sources
Sky Sports confirmed it
Not suprised. He lost the locker room and getting embarrassed by PSG yesterday was the icing on the cake.

Who gonna replace him tho
Willy Sagnol on temporary basis eventually it might be Tuchel
Please no Tuchel, the dude is maniac lol
I would love to see Julian Nagelsmann at Bayern but i feel it still might be a bit early for him.
The board and CEO with outdated ideas lost the dressing room.
The fool Karl told lewa he should mind his own business and think of the culture of the club when lewa asked for new signings.

Now What culture is he talking about that doesn't even give the manager time to fix a squad wth all sorts of holes and fires him in a farce
Double standards and hypocrisy at its finest
+1
Damn I guess it's not that easy managing Bayern then hey 🤔
I dont see any hypocrisy here, Lewa and his agent were behaving like children and demanding/threatening the CEO to sign players. And Karl told them to shut up and they are free to leave if they dont want to be here, because that is not his concern and he IS right no player is bigger than a club.

Carlo had the time, but since the beginning of the pre season he managed to turn every player against him, hummels and muller openly said that they dont get what he is trying to archieve with his tactics. He didnt even include Boateng with the squad against PSG, because apparently he had a biff with him too. Both Robben and Ribery had problem with him too.

The way Bayern played this whole season and the way players behaved, Uli and Karl didnt have any choice but to fire him.
+1
the hypocrisy lies in the fact that the board were talking... infact boasting about traditional values when they themselves have no values themselves. This is carlo's second loss of the season, just two months into the season and that's enough to fire a manager... how can he dare to utter " traditional values" when it's clear he has no idea what it means. Firing a manager after just 2 losses?
What about supporting the manager, trying to mediate any disputes between players and manager, actually get a player or two who carlo would have liked?

Sure he had his reasons for firing Carlo, they may be right or wrong-time will tell, but you can't defend someone who talks about traditional values and then goes on to do something that is the complete opposite of traditional... by borrowing something of a mid table or bottom club's book and firing manager after 2 losses
You dont know what you are talking about, you clearly havent seen any bayern matches this season if you think its only about the 2 losses.
The team played without any tactics, we have argubly the best defence in the world in the paper but every attack the opposite team startet ended in deadly situation. In the other hand our offencive tactics were useless. Sure ribery and robben are old but we still have Lewa, Muller, James, Coman, Thiago to do anything but in the end everything they did was to hopelessly cross the ball. If thats isnt clueless I dont know what is.

How would you know if they did or didnt not support the manager. This drama was going on since August, and it only got worse. So they fired him before it got worse
+4
Lol I knew it. I knew he's going to somehow blame Pep for this. f*****g hell 😂

"Pep ruined Bayern and left Carlo with an hard enough job, now that becomes impossible when two legends Xabi and Lahm retired and Carlo was restricted to signing average players from buliga and he was left with a squad with seniors past it and zero depth, no backing from the Bayern board in transfers and a CEO who is directly responsible for the poor squad morale by telling Lewa to mind his own business"

I've said this before and I will say this again. This guy will blame cancer on Pep soon

+4
When Messi gets old and retires Vaaz will blame Pep.
