Lahm about his retirement from the national team(german)
Wow...James 80M €!! And not for LeBron!!!!!
Wonder what they would pay for Müller? 150M + Ronaldo?
This transfer market is just out of control.
...Buying players for ludicrous prices and then compensate the costs by selling jerseys. Then sell players that have been loyal to the club like Özil or DiMaria because they dont sell the amount of Jerseys required. James is the perfect candidate for FC-Hollywood: The Justin Bieber of football, the global bandwagon fans will go nuts.

There is something fundamentaly wrong with sports nowadays when there is no limit to spending money for a player "on a credit card" and violating every sense of financial fair play in the process. Real and PSG are the worst example.

Congradulations my German friends!!
klose to retire from all football in 2015, this coming season is his last, most likely will play his last international game on home soil in Germany
Badstuber is back? If so, thats great news :)

yup in full training and everything.. i dont expect him to be at 100% for a while though, he hasnt played a competitive match in over a year
So is Shaqiri off to Roma?
Nope
So dumb to let kroos leave
+4
Ah...now it's the time for Mario to show that he is the most talented player on this planet. Just think what happened when Ronaldinho left Barca.
^I hope not, Kroos is more than a Bayern problem. Him turning into Ronaldinho post Barca would be a complete disaster for the German NT.
I don't think so. I thought about the rising of Messi after Ronaldinho. Mario is talented as well and now could get his chance as COM directly behind Lewandowksi.
No influence for the national team. Even if Kroos gets weaker there are sooooo many players in the midfield. Gündogan, Draxler, Can, Bender and Rhode are waiting.
Not as bad as Barca letting Thiago leave. That guy has much more potential than Kroos.
i have to say i agree with FromRaange that thiago seems to be more talented all around player. kroos' shooting ability and passing range and set piece delivery are slightly better but i think thiago is probably superior in every other attacking and defensive category (that doesn't involve the height difference).
Lahm just retired from the national team.

I feel that the same will probably happen after the next EC in two years with Schweini.

Now if you look at our squad, our key players also including Robben and Ribery have all reached the age of 30 now and might have got 1, max 2 years left in them before they also retire from serious contending club football. Sad but true, this dynasty is slowly comming to an end and we need to find or build world class players who can replace them.

Imo letting Kroos go was a big mistake, for me he belonged to the core of this collective.

i agree
Well, beyond that, trouble is brewing for Germany. With Captain reliable, the only reliable fullback in the world retiring, I just can't see any one stepping up. I might be biased when I say this, but no Fullback in the game comes remotely close to Lahm in terms of ability.

Basti will play one more WC. Only thing that will stop him is probably the amount of fouls he recieves in every single gadamn game.
So Kroos and Mandzukic are gone and we got about 52M € for them. So 10M for Bernat and Lewa and Rode on a free transfer we have a plus of 42M. With looking on our average transfer budget of last the last years (about -50M every year) I smell something very "BIG" is coming. What do you do with 90M? Godin, Cuadrado and Isco would be nice.
Isco Alarcon won't leave Real Madrid after just 1 season.

The club still have use for his services as he played a surprisingly important role for the team during their last campaign.

Griezmann would be very nice. Personally I don't think that Frankie will reach his old form again, he's a winger and 32 now and had a lot of injuries. This season will be the last where he could shine again but then we will need some replacement. Don't know if pep sees shaq more as cam or winger but yeah..griezmann would be niiice
+1
But where shall he play when the overpriced columbian arrives?
Griezmann is a good prospect but I don't see in him a better player than Shaq. We need a 2nd Thiago who gives us speed and creativity through the middle.
Let's assume Carlo Ancelotti will stick with the flexible 4-3-3 formation.

If that's the case, Isco will predominantly be called to play as a LCM if everyone else is fit and healthy. I imagine James Rodriguez will be deployed as a LW or as a CF. Maybe the front line will be tinkered with to accommodate the Colombian, but regardless, I do see him in that front 3 if he signs.

That begs the question though - why would Real Madrid spend so much on a player who doesn't appear likely to break into the first 11?

Could mean he'll be forced into the 11 to save face. Even so, I don't think it will necessarily be at the expense of Isco. Not directly, at least.

Real Madrid haven't signed James yet, so there's that too.
Personally I think we need some wingers , replacing robben and ribery ... Shaq stays but we need another one and honestly if we could get di maria or cuadrado , well be set , just a personal thought
Definitely Fabius, I would want Griezmann at Bayern to replace Ribery. Griezmann is very technical and has great acceleration just like Ribs. Shaq is more of a right winger anyway.
