i think sanches will win european golden boy trophy this year. hard to see why he wouldnt. won the title and played well in europe. he'll probably go to the euros and may get a chance to do well there as well. hopefully he can still get significant minutes at bayern.
lol I had an idea yesterday, mainly because penalty shootouts annoy the hell out of me.
Why not introduce a system that actually rewards skill or training? I'm fed up with this lottery s**t.
Just do it like this: after full time or extra time you begin subbing off one or two players of each team every 2 or 3 minutes and golden goal all the way. Imagine a frckn 1 vs 1 at the end of this scenario! That would reward skills and stamina; I feel that penalties are just too much a matter of bad luck
except it's not. The football world likes to call it lottery, but these people are paid insane amounts of money to not only keep in shape, but to know how to kick the ball.

Hitting a dead ball from 11 should be the easiest thing for them, but they don't practice enough. To be honest they should be able to hit the corner 10/10 times. This is isn't 4th tier football.

As far I'm concerned, for that pay they should sleep with the ball.
Well then, every penalty shootout should just go on forever. I mean, everyone yesterday gets paid a crapload and I don't think that they don't practice enough.
This argument is missing my point though.
These guys are human and humans eventually fail. And if you watch some domestic cup shootouts, it eventually happens that 4th tier teams beat first league teams in shootouts - because it is a lottery.
Also, It's not the players' fault that sponsors, investors and corporations stick the money up their asses.

I'm just sayin that it would better reflect the teams abilities or at least their individuals' if we had that kind of "shootout". It would be more fair. In extra time, some teams just sit back and wait for the shootout just because they know they'll have a greater chance then.
yeah well, if one of them skies a shot or passes way wide, at that point all they have on me is physique. That is not worth millions. This is their life, their profession. They can be expected to practice penalties for an hour non-stop, but they don't.

There is a reason they say that a penalty cannot be saved only missed.
Daaamn the pain is real for atletico - two finals and lost em both just because of bad luck and Sergio Ramos. Pain is gonna drive them in the next seasons tho , could be similar to what happened to us in 99 and 12.
Madrid with 11, Milan and Pool at 7 each, Bayern and Barcelona with 5 each. It would take a life time catching up to Madrid or even surpassing them.
Liverpool has only won 5
My bad bro. You are right but still madrid is out of sight.
The first 5 were hardly comparable to the CL now though.
+1
^^ and we'd still have more than Barca and Bayern ;D
I've never sighed that much in my life

Did you see a certain Belgian destroying Madrid on the left, right and centre though? Ribéry's replacement?
Damn Carrasco was so good
+2
I even hate Atletico when im rooting for them.

Real going into history as the second most undeserved CL win wuhai.
Remember Chelsea 2012? Yeah, neither do I ;)
thats why i said second.
Oh, I read over that. Yeah, agreed then.
Atletico chocking
Yupp Griezzmann just missed a penalty
Okay so who to buy should Lewandowski potentially jumps ship. Any thoughts?
It's obviously the same thing that we face every 3 or 4 weeks, some bs made up by his agent and Spanish newspapers.

But hypothetically speaking , I'd go for morata
dybala.
Higuain
Higuain isn't clinical enough for me. Dybala or Morata does it for me. Would take Higuain over Lukaku ahd how the guy is worth 65 million surpasses my understanding.
Not cllnical? lmao. 36 goals in 35 games this season says it all.

Dybala would most likely cost you guys an arm and a leg.
Scores goal but misses sitters for crying out loud. If he is so damn good why did Madrid let go of him or better still why not bring him back instead of spending an arm, leg and shoulder on Lewandowski.
If only we had renewed Toni kroos's contract we wouldn't be entertaining this pjanic rumor. Penny wise pound foolish if you ask me.
People need to understand that we let him go because he wanted to leave. I don't want a player that doesn't wanna play at the club.
+1
When it was clear he wasn't gonna get his stated pay rise he wanted to leave. But it's important to note he only just wanted a pay rise.
he recently said the move to real was the right one.

We don't need him
I'm getting reports that Götze wants to stay and start anew under Ancelotti!

My guess its either Götze leaves and we get pjanic or he stays.
+1
Saw similar reports on Gotze staying and wanting to be in top shape for Carlo. The problem with this is he only has a year's worth of contract with us and we might end up losing him to a bosman transfer. I really like the dude but i would suggest we sell.
Honestly, its best for him to leave Bayern for the sake of his own development .. look at Emre Can for instance .. he saved his career by going to Liverpool and now hes bossing their midfield.. I love the guy too but realistically he won't get much playing time at Bayern next season ... unless the new boss has big plans for him but highly unlikely
Emre Can sucks pretty hard lol. Im very glad he left because he is no where near FC Bayern quality.

I always hate it when Löw makes him start in the N11 because he is so god damn awful.
@Gumba not according to Klopp and Liverpool
I agree with not being Bayern quality however saying that he sucks pretty hard is harsh lol
His last game for the N11 against England killed it for me.

He basically lost the game alone.
Low played him out of position.. he was playing RB and we all know hes not the fastest out there lol.. hes a defensive midfielder

that game against England basically showed Low that we need RB LB
doesn't he play RB for Liverpool too?
I dont think so bro he plays as a defensive midfielder
@Gumba you haven't seen him play for Pool but take my word when i say his is fairly good defensive midfielder. Playing him at RB does him no favors so Low should look to other options quickly. For the England game he alone can't take the blame. Rudiger was terrible and not only that there were no defensive barriers in the midfield as it was overrun by the english.
