Danic joins Lyon for €0.8M + €0.2M in incentives!
+1
Apparently Danic told L'equipe that he's discuss personal terms with Lyon but Valenciennes is still discussing a fee with Lyon
Probably a few more.
Aulas really wants to cut costs and have youngsters play more. Not to say there won't be any recruits; there will be a few.

Hey everyone! As transfer season is almost here (June 11), let's go around rumours that have concerned Lyon so far.
Possible departures:
- Lisandro López (30, contract until 2014) has been linked with a move to Tottenham, Malaga, Porto, Monaco, and his first club, Racing.
- Dejan Lovren (23, contract until 2016) has been linked with a move to Liverpool, AC Milan, or Southampton. He's declared that he wanted to leave Lyon this summer.
- Bafétimbi Gomis (27, contract until 2014) has been linked with a move to Fenerbahce. The player has stated he wanted to stay at the club for the next season.
- Clément Grenier (22, contract until 2014) has been linked with a move to Parma, and more seriously to Arsenal.
- Bakary Koné (25, contract until 2016) has been linked with a move to Lazio.
- Anthony Réveillère (33, free transfer) will not extend his contract and leave June 30.
- Jimmy Briand (27, contract until 2014) should leave the club.
Possible arrivals:
- Sébastien Corchia (22, contract until 2015) from Sochaux.
- Benjamin Mendy (18, contract until 2014) from Le Havre.
- Eric Abidal (33, free transfer) from Barcelona.
- Bruno Mendes (18, contract until December 2013) from Botafogo.
- Kévin Gameiro (26, contract until 2015) from PSG.
- Jérémie Aliadière (30, contract until 2015) from Lorient.
- Gervinho (26, contract until 2015) from Arsenal on loan.
- Florent Malouda (32, free transfer) from Chelsea.

It's sad to see Reveillere leave. He is a fantastic player who did much during his 10 years at the club. I wish him the best.
I don't if Lisandro will leave as well (that also be very sad and unfortunate), but we've got to focus our resources on defense before thinking of strengthening our offense.
With Reveillere gone, it looks like Corchia's gonna come take his place (great signing if that were to happen). On the left flank, we've got to get someone other than Dabo (Mendy?). And finally, since Lovren is likely to leave, we need a central defender.
As to the rest of the team, I think Gourcuff has to go. If I have to chose between him and Grenier, I'll pick the latter.

But it sounds like Grenier is leaving? He's been flirting with Arsenal in the media. Doesn't look likely he'll stay. Which is a shame :(
Yea... I was sure he would stay 2 days ago, but, from I've heard and read recently, I'm not so sure.
I'm also disappointed. I expected a better conduct from him.

to all those lyon fans who were laughing at Saint Etienne they won the french league cup so shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh ALLEZ LES VERTES!!!!
still laughing xD
besides they won the french equivalent of the carling cup
winning the coupe de la ligue is nothing to be proud about when Lyon won the coupe de france
ALLEZ LYON

Come back when you become a relevant team again and don't bend over for teams that are in the relegation spots. Correction how many trophies have ASSE won recently??
Oh btw where's you relevance in the last 10 years?? Where was this talk last season when you were still tricking mediocrity?? When was ASSE ever a threat in Europe?? Did you beat RM and other top teams in Europe and gain the respect of the footballing world???
NOPE
it was lyon in fact your crap club wouldn't be even in the same place had it not been for Lyons dominance
Be happy with your little achievement cause that's all your small club can achieve in the modern era
ALLEZ LYON
edit: wait why we fighting we're both canadian lol

just gonna say this final thing btw back then lyon was mediocre while asse were dominating so right now saint etienne is struggling but ily anyways my Canadian friend
I know I'm a month late (I should come on this site more often), but the argument saying that ASSE is a better team than Lyon because they won the league 10 times is complete BS. You had your great period; we had ours. For more than 10 years, Lyon has finished ahead of Saint-Etienne; accept it...
