TRANSFER NEWS
Kim Kyung Jung?
Seems it's reinforcement for the youth team, and it's only a loan. I don't know more about him.
Why weren't you guys more offensive? We were only playing with our second team.
Because our attackers don't even have National division level lol
I disagree with you on that. Jussie only had one or two shots and scored once. Gouffran also went very near. I think it's the Midfield which cost you the game. Anyways, good game by Carrasso!
How do we match up to Lyon? Is Ciani seriously hurt?
Ciani is ok. But because of the cold wave in France, some Coupe de France game could be canceled because of snow or frozen fields like some games were cancelled in Ligue 1 this week end, we don't know if it's concerning Lyon - Bordeaux yet.
Obraniak!

How did we manage to only win on PK's against a side not even in Ligue 2?
Because maybe we're not totally healed mentally and also it often happens in Coupe de France, small teams especially non professionnal ones are over-motivated to play a pro one, they're at 400% while pros are not really motivated to play small teams, or they think it'll be easy because they're normally weaker than them and then they got surprised. That's why Coupe de France is special, a small village club can win against a big shot from Ligue 1.

But of course I would have liked to win without overtime and penalty kicks.
Gotcha
Does anyone know a good website to watch Bordeaux games in the USA? The free websites are just too sketchy and the quality isn't great - I'm willing to pay a yearly subscription fee too. Thanks for any help!
besides streaming websites like atdhe or livetv etc... I don't know any other ways to watch a Bordeaux game, maybe you can subscribe Girondins TV, I think they normally broadcast the games.
I wish you guys the best with Obraniak! He has a mean left foot and is a free kick specialist ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ah1rIzk5Xv0 ). I will be watching Bordeaux matches now since Ludo has moved to your famous club. All the best!
Thank you, yea he's a very interesting player with his left foot, he's good on free kicks too, it's good for us to sign a quality player from a club like Lille right now, at least it proves our owners wants to bring back the club where it belongs in the rankings. And it's good for Obraniak if he can be a starter in a top french club once again and do Euro with Poland.
Obraniak signed from Lille, and if we trust the coach and president, our transfert are done, no new players should come, so no new attacker.

So welcome to #25 Mariano and #4 Obraniak, hoping they'll do a right side as good as our left side and provide good balls to make our shitty attackers score.

Obraniak isn't qualified for next Ligue 1 game against Valenciennes, because of Lille who didn't make the papers for the league in time, but Mariano is in the group so we might see him play for the first time with the navy and white jersey !

Mariano arrived at Bordeaux-Mérignac Airport yesterday in company of Henrique and Trémoulinas, his signing will be officialized today and he will be presented to the press around noon (french hour) by president Triaud and coach Gillot.
Whats your opinion on him Trepa?
I don't know he didn't play against St-Etienne during Coupe de France. From what I've seen of him with Fluminense, he seems to be really offensive and good dribbler. He told the press he'll do the efforts to defend, I'm confident, it can only be better than Chalmé who haven't his 20 years old legs anymore or Sané who's normally central defender. If we get Obraniak, it could be an interesting thing to watch on our right side. they will surely feed our attackers with some good balls.

But for now I can't say anything, I'm waiting to see him play with Bordeaux. Maybe against Valenciennes.
He did an assist and a good game for his first appearance with Bordeaux one of the best Girondins with Carrasso and Sertic against Valenciennes, hope it'll continue !
Is the Mariano deal a bust?
No, normally he arrived yesterday in Bordeaux, I think the club is waiting for the opening of the transfert window (1st january)to officialize his signing.

Yesterday he told to the press he was "a little bit scared about the cold" and that he "don't know about how he'll react to this" (he's never been to europe before), that he's "staying on two good season with Fluminense" but that he's confident in his qualities, that he "don't know how much time it'll take to him to adapt to his new life" and that "he's a bit anxious but happy to go in Bordeaux".
