Its done
2 down. 24 more to go lol
damn, spurs bought ndombele, great signing for them. he is actually a lot like moussa dembele in midfield but probably less physical and possibly more technical
Great buy for them.
Done deal !
+2
Finally.
+2
The deal is worth £50m and the 21-year-old Englishman is likely to travel for a medical imminently before going on holiday.

United have offered Wan-Bissaka a long-term contract that would lift his salary from £10,000 per week - he is the lowest-paid player in Palace's first-team squad - to up to £90,000 per week.

Some nice profit for Palace. Great player tho.
+1
Good deal, now keep it coming
+1
Great deal. now lets get more 2 midfield, forward and CB please. I am with SIF wished we get ndembele he would been great addition.
This Wan Bissaka deal is taking forever. Trade mark united style this.
whats the rush, he's on international duty anyways.
Preseason starts next week and Ole said he wants to get the transfers done before it. Its alwasy better to get the deals done early.
Hopefully something is not wrong with the fax machine
he's not gonna be away on international duty and come back right to pre-season either way, players usually get 10-14 days off after tournaments.
Yeah no need to rush. Why take 3-4 years to rebuild after failing miserably for last 6 years, when we can take another decade. Why deal like Real Madrid who is trying to rebuild as well and rush to buy 6 players, while we can wait for everything to unfold for us magically.

So yeah, why rush?
Won't be surprised if someone hijacks the deal
even if the kid signs tomorrow, he wont be there july 1st for pre-season. my point is, there's no reason to rush through the deal. get it done right, keep it pushing.
Just don't lose the deal because it got dragged too long, that is all
No but its better to not worry about transfers once the pre season starts. No one else in the league is buing many players though but we are the team with the most pressing need.
This may be a rumour, that we are signing Tielemans for 40m, AfTER we sell Pogba. Why not sign him now? Should Pogba drag the transfer till last minute, which he would, we will run out of time, then we are f*****g screwed. Is the board also underestimating the departure of Herrera? I think we need a CM whether Pogba leaves or not. Just stack up the CM ffs.
We need 2 Cm without Pogba leaving, can't go into new season with Matic, Andreas ,Fred and mctom . We are so slow at transfers it's frustrating .
If we know what we want why not get it early !!
Rumor from where?
My toilet
+6
ah, no wonder it smells like s**t
+1
Time to clean it!!

Yea, trash rumour based on a single journalist's claim saying we told him he'll be Pogba's replacement should he leave.

Like Footy said, we should be after a CM regardless of Pogba's status. We need depth there.
Inter wants Lukaku but needs to sell Icardi first. After we sell Lukaku, we need to sign a forward. It would a dream to straight swap.
If we managed to do this deal swap i am tattooing Ed Woodwards name on my arm lol
+1
If you like to get ripped off then yes a straight swap is a good idea
Getting ripped off is a norm for Woody, so that is one less thing to worry
They are the ones initiating negotiations so we should have the upper hand. They want Lukaku and they want to offload Icardi. But we're happy to keep Lukaku. so I think a straight swap with no fees is possible.
Apparently Ole will only be give 100 mil this window. The rest will have to come from player sale. If this is true, what are we? Wolves? Leicester?
+2
is it from a reliable source? If it's true congrats, we're the new Arsenal.
That is f****d up
i dont believe this is true, it cant , its probably just the media spreading more negativity about us .
I think we have just over 200 mil to spend plus player sales.

we need investment and giving Ole 100 mil could be last nail in the coffin for the board. NOO WAY
Lmao there is no $200m, wake up

Mou after winning Europa + coming 2nd in the league with a piss poor team wasnt given his signings of choice. Heck he wasnt even given one world class defender
How the hell are they going to throw 200m at Ole who got some 5 points from last 30 in the league...

All our clubs money is going to line glazer pockets. So pissing off ..
This is glazer inc., not man utd
+2
@ERFANERI Arsenal gets 50mil the most.
This is one of our biggest summers where we need to throw money at that team and rebuild because this current lot aint got make top 4 again without serious reinforcements and next thing u know well get even less and less money for failing to reach objectives again.
100 mill for a club as big as United thats fighting to get back to the top and challenge City and co , lol pathetic.

I hope your wrong because even with 4 signings im not confident.
@FootballisCity

They got 50 mil and 1 that one year
Stan Kroenke is better than the Glazers. And then theres Mike Ashley
https://talksport.com/football/561461/manchester-united-sell-sack-jesse-lingard-ian-holloway-snapchat/

Lingard is making headlines for wrong reasons with rashford. wonder if rashford and Memphis (when he was here) got distracted. Pogba as well lol. damn bad influence.

Joke CEO, Joke players. Butt of jokes now.
its shameful really, uneducated little child . his 27 and shows so much immaturity for his age. and whats with the bling !? tottaly unacceptable.

If i was Ole id get rid , his dragging us down with him .
He should stop doing these thing because our fan base does not like it but me personally, i have no problem with this. He is 27 years old, partying it up in Miami Beach. Have fun Jesse and enjoy your life i say but when the season starts, its back to business. No more s**t seasons like the last one.
Yaldho i understand what u are saying but he plays for Manchester United, hes a role model and his dragging us through the gutter. Hes a proffesional and thats no way to act and on top of that hes not doing it on the pitch .

Like it or not he represents us as a club and behaviour like that should not be tolerated.
+8
I understand that. He should be way more sensible when it comes to posting stuff like this on social media. Have fun but you dont need to post everything for everyone to see. I dont LOL
people post stuff they regret posting later on, i'd file this into that category. it was a childish, profanity-laden post of Jesse hanging out with friends at a hotel while on vacation. generally speaking, it's definitely not a big deal, but it's blown up because he's a manchester united player. much worse goes down when players are on vacation, but when you post stuff like this it does damage the club image.
Cheshire clown
Do people really need to post everything these days? lol like what was the point of that video?

I miss those Rashford posts on him working out by himself during summer. At least those posts are encouraging. Like McTominay showing off him abs from his recent training drew positive attention from media.
+1
According to sky sports, United wants to keep Pogba but happy to sell if they get 150 mil. It will be difficult for Madrid (FFP), PSG or Juve to match that price as well as the wages he would demand. Pogba prefers to go to Juve but they might be priced out of the move. There is bad blood between Perez and Pogba's agent, so a madrid move will be challenging. Barca interest has cooled since last summer.

Pogba wants to go. Ole wants to build a team around him but the club will sell for the right price. Other clubs are put off by the price. What a mess.

How does Ole feel about all this when he came in and said all that positive crap about him? Its a slap in the face of the manager if you ask me.
Didn't really think we'd sell pogba this summer, but it would be the time to cash in. We could always trigger that final year next summer and hed command a similar fee.

I doubt pogba would force a move but it'll be a tough year with fans knowing he wants out and given he already gets way too much stick from fans.
Pogba would be good to cash in even next summer. 150m is a bit low for him when we are spending 60m for a defender from crstal palace. He is a world cup winning star ffs
Wan Bissaka and Daniel James looks 2 decent signing BUT for the future. Is that really what we need at the moment ? Young prospects ?

First one had only one good season with CP and DJ played at Championship level. I am more than happy with these 2 signings but will they bring us back at the top. Hardly doubt this.
This is going to be a 3 year project with this pace and Ole might not see the end of it. We need a DOF to steer this ship or we are going to be s**t forever.
+1
Looks like this is our new strategy, buying young English players with potential. I am sure if a WC player is available, we would be interested but majority of signings will fit this pattern.

Agree with Shiwa. Fans need to accept the fact that we are not going anywhere fast. This is going to take time.
Bissaka is really good tackler , solid defensively i think hes wat we need atm on the right side . id rotate between him and Dalot whos better ofensively depending on the opponent.
All of last season teams have attacked our right side and succeeded so Bissaka should help change that .
Just know that AWB is not a finished article. He has a long way to go.

Andy mitten reports that the fee is 47 plus bonus which adds up to 55 mil. The wages have also been agreed at 80K. This should be wrapped up soon.
Isn't Andy mitten a club photographer or something, how bbn is he reporting Awb's wages lol.

Anyways that norwhich kid looks good going forward but awb is that defensive player we need to shore up the right side. It adds balance to our defense, gives our options as to play with wing backs or RBs. Salot is no rightback, as far as I'm concerned.
Salot is not a rightback. I agree lol
DAlot is raw 20 year old fullback with tons of potential that can play as a right mid. and left back and his strengh is going foward . very versatile young lad, it would be a shame to waste him.
Salot, as in Dalot is too Sa-low to play RB lol
Yea, Dalot is surprisingly slow for a fullback. Not sure if it has anything to do with our training, because all of our supposedly fast players couldn't out pace any opposition last season
It's difficult to be quick when you are over 6' tall like dalot is. Most fullbacks are tiny and quick to keep up with most wingers. Even the tall fast guys usually don't have great acceleration.
