LVG: Do I get worried when I look at the league table now? Come off it!
i know im not a united fan by im going to put my 2 cents in with a formation that i think would work (with a fully fit team)...

reasoning behind rvp being dropped is because i think you need a true CAM behind the strikers and dropping rooney to cam isnt the answer. united fans are yet to see mata pulling the strings for a team, once he does he becomes unplayable with his assists and his goals.

let me know what you think of the team

Van nistelrooy : Things may go wrong, coz you're not perfect. But you never stop trying!

#Respect
Rvp says he is not going to hospital anytime soon...and that news is bullshit. .am not sure how will LVG fit all rvp, rooney, mata and falcao in one team...its a big headache now..
possible but it's not the best line up

--Mata--------Rooney
-----Falcao-RVP
Is it at least better than the young, Valencia, Cleverley, Anderson, Nani headache or...?
No worries. 1 player at the very least gets injured every week by the looks of it, so LVG would only have to bench someone once or twice before one of them gets injured lol.
@Subhakar It's call rotation my friend
@Subhakar7 Not sure, what I do know is that Rooney won't be benched because LVG made him the captain for a reason.

I guess it will depend on what LVG thinks he will need for a certain game.

Maybe LVG will want 3 Goal Scorers at the same time so he plays Falcao,RVP,and Rooney or maybe he will want 2 Goal Scorers and 1 Playmaker which would be Rooney,Mata, and either Falcao or RVP.
but what if no one is injured..? who will be benched..?
Falcao creates his own play in case our playmaking suck that match. But RVP requires delivery and Rooney need others to drag away defenders, he's got not flair. They are very different strikers, so it depends on the tactics deployed on specific matches. Think only important matches we will see them start together.
Robin van Persie
“I am happy with the arrival of Falcao.

“He makes us a better team. You always have to aim for the best at a big club. That’s my philosophy as well. Falcao has to fight for his place, just like me. The two of us and Wayne Rooney and James Wilson will have to fight it out.”

Angel di Maria
“It will be great to have a striker like Falcao. I will try to adapt to English football quick.”

Wayne Rooney
“I obviously don’t know how Falcao‘s arrival could affect my role, that’s something you’ll have to ask Louis van Gaal.

“I think it is a fantastic signing. He is one of the best players in the world. It is a real show of intent by Manchester United.

“It is a thrill. We have an exciting team. I am looking forward to the challenges ahead and I want it to be successful.”

Cristiano Ronaldo
“He is very good player. I think Manchester did very well. I don’t think he is the wrong type of player. He is a top player so I don’t think it is a wrong buy. I think he will be a fantastic buy. Manchester have not started well, two points, so they need quality players and Falcao is a quality player.”

Dwight Yorke
“Falcao is a number nine, the ultimate number nine. You look at his goalscoring record and he’s a phenomenal striker. He’s not interested in link-up play, he just knows how to hit the back of the net. He’s the best goalscorer in the world right now.”
Cantona brings the brilliance yet again...

“Falcao can die happy knowing he has joined the pinnacle of football. There is only down after United.” -King Eric

Top with the James Wilson spoiler. Imagine what it is like for young James having rvp including him in that list. Lol
That would give James a big boost for sure
Its really amazing how RVP rate Wilson. Lots for him to learn this season, 3 top striker with different styles. Crucial year for him.
I just read di Maria's open letter to real m fans and something caught my attention that I hadn't seen in the news. He does say that he didn't want to leave and that they basically kicked him out. BUT in the end of that same paragraph he says:

"there are a lot of things that I value many of which have nothing to do with my salary. I hope to find these in Manchester United, one of the biggest clubs in the world with which I hope to make history."

Reading the entire letter made it clear to me that the main point was to tell fans about the bad treatment he got from the people running the club.

From what I had seen on the English news, I thought it would have something in there that was disrespectful directed towards our club, which it didn't.
he simply felt he had been treated unfairly after what he had done to the club... he was clearly disappointed...

he never wanted to leave real madrid..
"I never think I'm not going to score, I never panic, I never start to worry," he said two years ago. "I believe I will score. I just know, no matter how long I have to wait, that the goal will come. Football without goals doesn't work. Goals give the game meaning, they give value to football. I have always been passionate about goals. Obsessed."
-Radamel Falcao

My brain just said, WOOOOOOAHH

Who follows the Utdnewsbulletin on twitter?

People are saying things about Falcao,
the most intelligent and humble footballer they've ever worked with
a strong and positive influence in the dressing room
quiet yet exudes authority

Hmm...
some players spur a team on not just with their genius on the pitch but also their all-round personality and character...
If Falcao is one of those, I couldn't be happier about it :^D
Give the team another leader

First of all, thank you Adidas!

We spent less than double this season but we at least double in quality and triple in quantity in our signings

Btw, who did we buy in 12/13? I can only remember Kagawa (12mil) and RVP (24mil) but who else?

Edit: wow 28.9mil spent on 4 players who only played 39 games so far...
Wilfred Zaha £15,000,000
Angelo Henrique £4,000,000
Alexander Büttner £3,900,000
Nick Powell £6,000,000
so what? are we not allow to spend what we earn? are we living in north korea now? compare these to club revenues and all is in proportion.

also mean that unlike you we do not sell our best players away to leverage expense. mc and city have spend more to build their squads and will have to do so again soon if not for FFP.

compare us to city and chelsea oil money OR arsenal and liverpool dusty trophy cabinet. hopeless
Mate, it's very biased to look at just the last 3 seasons where we had a major rebuild for our squad. To be objective, you need to look at the transfers for at least the last 10 seasons
@topbloke if you look at last 10 seasons liverpool have spent more than us on players all the while earning much, much less and winning way fewer trophies, now that is not the kind of liverpool exposing statistic that mr.pewpew would want to go posting all around this website

zaha moved for 10 mln, 5 mln is add-ons depending on performance...

and im pretty sure the rest of man utd figures were inflated as much as possible....

i dont believe all the figures above, until you provide a detail breakdown of the players we bought, sold, and the source....

im willing to bet, man utd was one of the least spenders...
@James : I believe Mr. Pewpew posted this due to a certain post buy Sif on the next page of the United forum.
Am I reading this right?

"Cleverley, the Manchester United midfielder, has signed a season-long deal at Villa with the option of a permanent £8 million move in January" [telegraph]

£8 million! Ed you f***ing genius!
Give him a medal already lol now it Young and Anderson turn soon follow Fellaini
Tom Cleverley refuse permanent moves to protect wages:
http://www.theguardian.com/football/2014/sep/02/fabio-borini-tom-cleverley-wages-transfer-window

"In the cases of Borini and Cleverley, though, there is a legitimate debate regarding a desire to play regular football." HAHA
