Looks like Leicester giving up their second half against us, resting Mahrez and Vardy was a good decision. Their energy is back.

crazy. love to see them get out the group

I just saw the new PL motm trophy for the first time. It look like a deodorant packaging you buy in the convenient stores. Its a shame that it doesn't feel prestigious anymore and wouldn't look good on trophy cabinet lol. There's no way FA's budget is running low :P

bailly and vidic. damn imagine if we had this partnership when vidic was at his peak.
Two beasts in one picture.
Nothing beats the Rio Vidic combination, now we just need a good partner for Bailly
yeah...Smalling
To complete the Beast, you need the Beauty.

Its a pity that Smalling's technique is lacking, or else he'll fulfill Rio's role right away partnering Vidic Bailly. Blind on the other hand is lacking physique and pace, or else he'll be perfect.

yeah rio vidic was incredible, but rio fell off when vidic was still peaking.
http://www.skysports.com/football/news/12016/10595824/sam-allardyce-leaves-england-job-after-one-game-in-charge

One win for allardyce. 100% win rate? :P
Telegraph caused this and now they report it lol
It is too sad, not gonna say he is innocent or guilty but telegraph made it out in their relentless bullshit reports as if Sam is the chief in charge for corruption in Football.

I hope he sues these clowns and get some money back. Disgusting journalism especially when there is rampant corruption in the game at all levels but a manager has been made scapegoat for merely saying what everyone knows already. Several agents are guilty of this third party swindling of money yet will never be accused of anything

Sam has said the rights things by accusing the FA of being all about money, everyone knows this is true. The English FA has done jack s**t for football in the last few decades, with piss poor manager choices one after another, spending a ton on a new fancy stadium while there is no grassroot youth development like in countries like Germany and Spain. How does uncle Woy get paid 300k a week, that is corruption and incompetence right on your face. It is the might of English clubs that is keeping the English game afloat, the FA is merely a puppet in the hands of the media.
Mate you're missing the point, the FA had appointed Allardyce on a £3 million + bonuses a year contract to manage the national team. Here's Alladyce wanting to take back handers and using the national team for his advantage. The biggest problem in what he done was show the 'investors' ways round the 3rd party ownership laws, which the FA wrote. Leaking such sensitive information to be exploited is just wrong; there's been enough of this type of thing in the news so he should know better.

Also it's funny how people forget his hand in the transfers and the agent from the West Ham days; again this was related to third party ownership.

The guy is full of greed any only interested when it benefits it himself.

So FIFA17 career is pretty much the same, with a new addition of manager look of your own and the added club objectives. I chose a league 1 club with level 1 on Finance that won't allow me to spend big money on the market and they expect me to promote club's youth instead with level 2 youth development. This sure make things slightly more interesting. My biggest problem so far is the new penalty and corner gameplay. I haven't scored one from those so far.
What's the opponent AI like? Does it still keep passing the ball between its defenders for the most of the match?
@Maaza, I read a few previews earlier and they all said that the AI was a little faster in its play (not in that they run faster, in that they actually are a little more ambitious in going forward instead of hoarding the ball to death).
do you have xbox one or ps4? I have xbox 360 but decided to buy the game early due to the FUT packs for pre-ordering. I'll get the xbox one s probably around christmas or something, or with a more desirable bundle.
I have mine in PS4. I'll skip Journey for now :D.

The AI defending got much better, they won't fall for you skill moves so easily, they got more "sticky" sometimes I think they're psychic and they actually work with each other to shut you down, like one tries to tackle, the other intercepts, unlike last year the AI just stands around.

Each team seem to play differently as well, some still pass at the back, some keep launching long balls. Some stick to wing, some try to force down the middle. I'm struggling so far lol, wonder if I'll get sacked soon, because attendance is dropping and I overspent club's budget.

Problems I saw so far are the keeper AI seem to buggy. Already 2 own goals from keeper's mistake in 5 games. The other thing is I find the response seem to be a bit slow. Many time I tried to press first time pass last second, and the game just ignored my command. Very frustrating at times.
I know its Metro, so hopefully they did not mess with stats, but if this is the case Zlatan so far is not playing like Zlatan:

http://metro.co.uk/2016/09/26/worrying-stat-reveals-zlatan-ibrahimovic-is-the-most-wasteful-top-scorer-in-the-premier-league-6153035/
Felt the same way, he has missed several chances that he would have blindly put away in Serie A or PSG; Hopefully its just a bad patch for him..
I think he was trying to do the spectacular too often like always going for first time volley while he can get a touch first. But I'm not too worried about his form so far, because the service he's getting is not quite there yet. He have been giving us presence up field, terrorizing defenders, leading the line with his experience which is also a big part of his game. Hope he get his form back soon and help crush our rivals.
He played his best game yet against Leicester. He was way more influential compared to his previous game. It was like not have Rooney gave him more freedom to do what he wants.

you guys are reading way too much into this, strikers have games where they get once chance and score (eg like the big header goal against southampton), or get 8 and don't score. you have to look at trends over longer stretches of time to say anything statistically meaningful. the main thing is we didnt need him to score that game, so when in trouble we'd hope he does score
I am not fussed about who scores as long as the team is banging them in. Also, the attacking player is either scoring, assisting or positively impacting the attack with some link up or chance creation. So far, Zlatan does a lot just by being on the pitch and occupying 65% of the defenders' attention. His touch and link-up play isn't half-bad either. Stats show that Rooney has had decent seasons the last 3 years and yet people would say differently (at least I know I would).

Interesting to read the leadership part. By the time Rooney and Zlatan are gone he surely should be our next captain.
michael keane is a class defender and i hope we have a buy-back clause in there.

guys whats with all the crazy ads thats popping up everytime i click on anything on this website? i use adblocker but its somehow bypassing them. only started happening today. anyone else experiencing this too?
@Dust - Once the virus is inside your system, adblocker can't do anything. I recommend one of those scanners to clean up your system. It will only get worst mate. I don't think it's just footytube mate. I am not having any problem so I am guessing it's your system now.
Too much P mate

what Sergio says ^
Yeah. Can't stress it enough. Kill it and kill it for good. Don't take it lightly because it only gets worse.

EDIT: Sometimes it is some random free software you download off of CNET or something that comes 'bundled' in with other junk you don't want or know that you were installing (it says so in the installer but who reads it anyway?).

I would go into Control Panel -> Programs and Features -> Uninstall a program -> Sort by date installed (descending) and look at the last few programs you've installed and keep going down the list. If there are things that you don't recognize, then google search them to make sure they aren't essential drivers or some such and then proceed to uninstall them. Be careful to not remove something essential but otherwise remove cr@p you don't need or know what it does.
Everything turned up clean guys. Now footytube has become unresponsive on my computer. Replying on my phone. And its just affecting this website for me. I have no problems whatsoever on other webpages. :(
That is quite strange... This is the first I'm hearing of this. Is it doing the same on your phone? Have you tried any other computer?
No such thing as too much P

The movement from Zlatan and the perfect chip pass from Pogba would have been a good goal if Zlatan scored it.

It's very rare to see our players make those sort of runs in the box but we should do more of that especially against teams who love parking the bus.

Can we please not get too much hype on this game. Im worried we can only produce this kind of performance in one half only. We need to get this consistency going and perform at this high level for 90mins +

The game was won in the first half, no point exhausting yourself in the second.
+3
^^top clubs don't behave like this.
+1
we had plenty of chances in the second half, we never stopped attacking. there's no reason to go all out when 4-0 up.
Dom thats not true, teams like Barca and especially RM under Zidane always kill the game off and play the whole game in second gear. The difference is that they know how to move up another gear when it is required.

Pep's football strategy is to control and not exhaust the players. Even Bayern under him used to knock the ball around for a long time. The difference is that in La Liga or Bundesliga once it is 2-0 it usually ends up 5-0 even if these teams are strolling around the substitutes also come in with a point to prove and grab goals
First, we did continue attack in second half. Second, we did very often under SAF, to cruise at second half after 3-0, put in some young subs, get some key players rested for next game. Only top clubs have the luxury to switch off, we should be happy about that.
