I see Real winning a treble. They have been very consistent this season and are on form.

Too easy of a goal for Bale, It's really like Ronaldo can take a week off and they still might pull results. Di Maria is so confident right now too. The Bayern-Real game is something to keep an eye on.
The treble is incredibly difficult, one slip up and it all goes out the window. I think Atleti will win the league and RM will win CL.
They need both Bale and Ronaldo against Bayern
The CL depends on Real. The league depends on Atletico.
It's a good guess, but things might happen for them, so I'll see what happens. I have a feeling Atletico might slip up, and Madrid might get the edge to win the league.

Lol, I'm just bored after a really shocking season we had. I would like summer to come already for the World Cup. Hopefully, we will rebuild properly, but in the meantime, other football games around the world is keeping me company.
Lol at Monaco, a good lesson when billions don't mean success
what happened?

What a goal by Bale...

Edit: And what a missed opportunity by Neymar lol.
f*****g hell! seemed like bale was on fast forward and all other players on normal speed lol
His pace and strength is incredible
It's just made so much better that he was being fouled in the process and just decided to turn on the afterburners and leave everyone behind haha.
He is an absolutely incredible athlete. His running style is so powerful, its ridiculous, when he opens up like that you cant get near him.

Makes me think of a rugby winger when he goes on a run like that.
+3
Any normal player would go down at that chance but not Bale, he knows he has it in him to beast defenders.
And just as it was with Ronaldo, it looks like Real got the better end of the deal.
In both cases the transfers seemed ridiculous but Ronaldo more than justified his fee, Bale too seems to be following his footsteps.
Now compare Bale for 100 mil to Neymar's fee of 90 (or more?)...looks like Real got the right man
+1
Lol 1-1 madrid will be kicking themselves after all those missed chances
Or ramos will almost be kicking Alves! Lol.
The hopes of all United fans now lie in the hands of Mourinho and Chelsea..

I want Chelsea to win it but in all honesty mate I'm just not arsed any more, we've had a miserable season and getting this club back on track is all i care about. I couldn't give a f**k who wins the title if its not United.

Liverpool fans for the better part of 20 years have pretty much celebrated any season in which United have been beaten to the league title. I've often found it sad and small time that they do this, if the tone of our supporters in recent weeks is any indication of our future then i don't think its where we should be heading as a fanbase.

Now i don't want to sound like a righteous prick and I'll apologise if it comes across that way but i think we can be bigger than them, congratulate them on the league if they win it (even if they never did it for us) and use it as fuel to get our club back to the heights we've enjoyed for over 2 decades.

We must never become like them. Ever.
+6
Don't worry, lads. Mourinho has you covered.
yeah i'm not particularly arsed about who wins. while i'd prefer liverpool not to win for obvious reasons, at the end of the day, i'm still going to be pissed about our league position and more worried about the ins and outs that need to happen over the summer, preferably before the world cup (ie soon)
+1
Your recent titles were hated because you were crossing our 18, so you should understand this. Being the club with most league titles is something to boast about. And where is the rivalry if we start celebrating your victories? Anyway dude best of luck for the next season(you know i dont mean it):P
I actually feel the same way, and am glad I'm not the only one who is indifferent to a certain extent.
@Nokono

No offence, but rivalry? You have not won the league in 24 years, we have not been title rivals in a long time, save for a few odd seasons around 09 you have barely challenged.

I have the utmost respect for what Liverpool have achieved and in that sense we do do have a fierce rivalry. But the simple fact of the matter is that Liverpool fans have been living to see United fail rather than Liverpool to succeed.

I don't want that mentality creeping in here. The 11-12 season is a good example of this, when Aguero scored that goal to win City the title you would have thought it was Liverpool who won the league, they were happier than City fans despite the fact that Liverpool had just slumped to their worst ever league finish in the PL era that season.

Its been more about hating United than loving Liverpool with a lot of your support and that's the problem. I just don't want that here even if we do go on an extended slump. I think we can be the bigger men here is all.

we have the chance to finish 5th!!!everton still need to play mancity

1-1 between city and sunderland. anyone watching el classico madrid leading barca 1-0 without Ronaldo.
City in the middle of the title race, and empty seats littering the Etihad....
bunch of choke artists ;(
Not in it anymore.

Between Liverpool and Chelsea now?
http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2031035-southampton-defender-luke-shaw-favourites-tweet-linking-him-to-man-utd-transfer

lol...

Silly season has begun it would seem.

Luke Shaw favourited a tweet from a United fan and has apparently started following Phil Neville on twitter. Here is the tweet:

"Hope you sign for mufc, we are all excited, good luck.

Doesn't say anything really but the media have gone into a bit of a frenzy over it lmao. He un-favourited the tweet afterwards though so it was probably a mistake.

I think this is the second time he has made this "mistake" though lol. I remember him retweeting or favouriting something from the official ManUtd twitter page earlier in the season.

I might just try and shut myself off from the football world during silly season, I cant take a summer of this s**t.
Photos have emerged of Luke Shaw playing with Man Utd on Fifa 14 career mode. Curiously, he purchased himself from Southhampton while French International Patrice Evra was sold to Monaco and Buttner was deputized as the backup.

Furthermore, Shaw was also recorded blowing his nose with a napkin from old Trafford. Recent reports coming in from the southern coastal city indicate he's also recently chose to by a red and black corvette (produced by Chevy, the new sponsor for Man Utd shirts), fueling further speculation that a deal with the Red Devils is nearly complete.

@SIF
That's exactly the way they are going to report it.

You got all the qualities to become a football journalist.

Should apply for DM
Cutting edge reporting from SiF there.
Gotze, “When I was at Borussia Marco (Reus) wanted a move to Man United, he hasn’t changed,”

http://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/manchester-united-tracking-marco-reus-6994468

Is Gotze now trolling us??..lol Sounds too good to be true. Not holding out any hope. He is also not someone we urgently need considering our attacking options...would be great to have him but no biggie if we don't.
I'm not certain regarding the quote itself, but there is some truth into it. It's not a secret that Reus is a fan of Manchester United. I've heard that many times before.

Here's another one: Gotze on Reus "Dortmund always issued us club pyjamas on flights, Marco always had Fred the Red ones on underneath his." (Munchen Bunchen)

I think Reus is a player United very much needs. United like playing with some width, and Reus offer brilliance on d wings, with great technical ability and versitility, since he can also play behind the striker if needed.
I'd take quotes like these with a pinch of salt. I don't think they're in the German press anyway. I'd be very surprised to see this happen.

But lets talk hypothetically... It seems Kagawa could be make weight in any deal, I would hate to see Kagawa go the other way but Reus is far better moulded to what the club needs. It would be a no-brainer really, it's always going to be difficult for Kagawa here especially with Mata at the club now.

He attacks with pace, is direct when attacking the opposition defence, capable of skinning players like they don't even exist and is well suited to a counter attacking game. He has all the typical traits of a United wide man.

Januzaj is the only winger we have that does this these days and Reus also scores a lot of goals, we barely have any goals from midfield as it is.

I don't understand why people say we don't need him, our flanks with the exception of Januzaj are boring, predictable and largely unproductive. He is the kind of player that can re-ignite the United attack.

I think we have a big budget this summer, if we were given encouragement to bid I don't think there is any reason we couldn't afford him along with the other signings we are looking at. Priority given to the left-back and central midfield areas first though.
I know it's highly unlikely to happen, but having Reus on one wing with Januzaj on the other and Mata on the field at the same time... It's just so mouthwatering lol. Especially if Adnan continues his form and improves like we all expect him too.

Add in a couple of midfield replacements and even factoring young Wilson in who's got boat loads of potential, next year could be amazing.
I would more than love if Reus arrived at United. As much i like kagawa, but i would take reus over kagawa anyday.Reus could be our no.7 . But it wont happen until this winter when his clause of 40 M pounds comes into play,BVB simply does not and will not sell until there is a release clause.
guys this one is not happening
+3
Dortmund would never swap Reus for Kagawa no matter how much they would love him back.
my issues is dortmund didn't raise these guys from their academy the entire time. reus was purchased. gundogan was purchased. lewandowski was purchased. we need to find these gems instead of harboring unrealistic wishes of throwing millions at the finished product. there is plenty of talent out there, i don't see why we haven't found many in recent years like we did with evra vida etc. i guess so far a lot of the most recent young talent we have bought haven't lived up to the hype.

just gets frustrating reading we are mulling over spending 30 million on a 21-22 year old player (carvalho) when we could find young talent and develop them into the next stars.
Reus was at BVB's academy for 10 years, but I understand where you're coming from.
