Silva to City is official... Too bad, i really like him. Now i hope he flops lol
New contract for our Ecuadorian. Well deserved!
https://twitter.com/ManUtd/status/868074303237107712
+1
Hoping Herrera contract gets renewed ASAP.
Some reports of virus barca lurking behind him (Hopefully the Herrera to Barca rumours are because he tried to play act for a bit in the Europa final)
Herrera was voted our POTY, there's no way we havent already offered him a deal. i'm sure he's the club will announce it sometime this summer.
Still think we need a better RB! lets be honest he was better defensively but offensively his crosses were still poor.
+1
We have similar problem with Ivanovic for years...great defensive capabilities but poor crossing. Valencia has already impressed the manager and sealed his spot for next 1 or 2 seasons at-least
Yup, he has made us forget he is not a RB. We will be ok for 2 years.
valencia is a tank, stamina, strength and decent acceleration and speed still. i dont think he needs to be replaced right away but getting another young talent to rotate wouldnt be a bad idea. we dont want to be scrambling at the end of this season or next looking for a replacement.
We need a LB more than we need a RB at the moment. I'd rather Darmian rotate with Valencia for now and we find a consistent player at LB that isn't a makeshift solution.
Fosu Mensah? I think he can replace Valencia. In a year or 2.
@joey but dont forget darmian is two footed, he honestly looks better on the left than on the right most times.
Oh I don't think Darmian is bad on the left at all--he played there 16 times this year for us. But do you see him as a 30-game starter on the left next year? I'm not sure I do, I think he offers even less in attack than Valencia but is a good defensive defender.

As far as "makeshift solutions" go, I'm really just tired of seeing Rojo and Blind and Young there, even if they can all do a fine job on any given day as well. I just think it's an area that's been bare since Evra started to decline. Doesn't look like Shaw is ever going to gain the fitness to slide back in.
Bild reported that Aubameyang has asked for a transfer. If true yay or nay?
Great player but we have seen several Dortmund players struggle at other places, they tend to work the best in their system. I could be wrong but he seems a bit similar to Rashford with better finishing. How is he in holding up the ball and what about his ball control etc?
One wort to describe Aubameyang: FAASSSTTTT!!!!!======-------
Didn't he say he'd only leave dortmund for madrid? Seems Morata is off to inter as well.

I think the whole James link s BS, he's now linked to inter. Hopefully the DDG link is BS as well. The club don't seem worried about it.
Every team eats BBC's dust against Real. If Auba goes to Real, teams will eat ABC's sand dunes. Its scary imagining that.
Seems the club asked 65m or 22m + Morata for DDG
Just 65m? Wtf... He is worth atleast 80m in my book. Or more...
The current record for a GK is 50m set all the way back in the year 2000. How can DDG be just 15m more than that?
Our club sucks at transfers smh

Watch us shell out a cool 30m for an unknown goal keeper if DDG leaves.
65m pound or dollar? Kinda important
Euros i think..when we talk about transfer related to Spain or Italy its mostly Euros
I read 75mil Euros somewhere, still think we can get more for him.
BBC reporting it in pound. thats a ton of money for a young attacking midfielder

http://www.bbc.com/sport/football/40061812
Marca reported that Jose values DeGea at €75m or Morata + €25m
If we are not getting James or some other real player, we wont be selling to madrid. i'm pretty confident of that.
I hope he stays now that UTD secured CL spot
Morata is a young striker, that will send the wrong message to Rashford and Martial. Not sure if that is the way to go.
How is Morata €50m? He just moved for € 30m last year and by being a bench warmer his price has increased by 20m? No logic.. He is nowhere worth 50m and DDG is hands down one of the best 2 GKs in the world and worth much more than Morata + 25m if you ask me
+2
€30m because Juventus had no say in the matter of price. It was agreed in contract when RM sold him. He's valued at €40m on transfermarkt.

https://www.transfermarkt.com/alvaro-morata/profil/spieler/128223
He scored 15 of the bench, that's pretty incredible if you ask me.
+1
@Glory..

Morata is a young striker that will lead any forward line for yrs to come.. i don't think rashford is...

as for martial... he simply is not good enough and i see him leaving united.
I am pissed morata is leaving madrid simply becos he deserved to be playing more often than benzema. But any team that buys him has a leading striker and prob will not bother with the headache for a high quality striker for at least 5 yrs...
+2
I do like Morata a lot. Call me biased but you are wrong about Rashford and Martial. Kids have quality and very good chance to succeed here
+2
I trust rashford, but no martial.he seems not happy at here anymore,I just hope im wrong because I wanna him stay here and can get to his best performance in his first season..
lol martial not good enough. that's funny. he's got more talent than rashford. he needs to improve his workrate. we saw it in bursts during the middle of the season. kid's a fantastic player.
Let's see where Rashford is in 5 years before you start claiming that he won't be leading any forward lines. Morata is 24, Rashford is 19.

Similarly, with Martial, the reason so many of us fear him leaving is because he has so much talent, not because he lacks it.
Dat boy Rashford will be a legend as simple as that. He just needs time in the field. I want Martial to have one more season to showcase his talents and if he doesn't take the opportunity lets sell him and be done with it. I do give props to LVG for bringing Herrera. That boy is uniteds life and passion this season.
The club signed Herrera even before LVG was announced I guess.
Apparently, Bernardo Silva is going to City. Oh well... Hope we get Fabinho or Bakayoko now that Tieleman is Monaco player. We are also rumored to be competing with City for Mendy. Thus the Monaco raid has begun lol.

Edit: looks like City is set to sign Mendy as well. They are also interested in Fabinho. At this rate maybe they can buy Monaco instead
Already confirmed?
Wow they are already lookig for Silva's replacement. How many technical creative players does Pep need.
Not yet but Silva deal looks certain
We as usual will be slow in the market trying to do business well after season has begun, getting caught in all sorts of bidding wars and inflated prices while all other clubs wrap transfers up early

Bernardo's fee is less than Martial's... got ripped off there too
Bernardo Silva is not Jose type of player...why would you even want such signing?
didnt know we were after either. what kind of player is mendy?
^Slippery kind.
he's a french leftback. haven't heard much about him
I watched Monaco in CL. Mendy is a talented powerful LB
@Vaaz

I'm sure we are too busy working on a deal for a certain French striker ;)
And what are you talking about. Silva fee is reported to be £60m
Um who says we get our business done late? jose said he's given woodward his list of players 2 months ago. I'm sure we've started working on all the deals.
Mou is known to conduct his business early and well, no need to panic gotta have faith now.
Martials fee came up to 65m including add ons
+1
BBC Confirmed its 43m deal for Sliva.....thats a steal in current market
Add-ons are only if he achieves certain targets.. I think we payed around 30 mil up front. Which was crazy for an unknown player but looking back, that was a fair deal.
+1
Silva for Silva, can't find a better replacement than that
Add ons are like if the player plays 10 league games, pay 10m more, or scores 10 goals, pay 10m more, stuff like that.
The add-ons are usually fulfilled in a season or two which is why they are made in the first place.
We ended up paying around 60m for Martial and a vastly more talented player Silva costs less or the same.
vastly more talented? you're out of line. when did silva win the golden ball for best euro talent? was he even at the euros? hyperbole at its finest. the kid's a very good player, but martial is still one of the best young forwards in europe.
+1
lol one of the conditions on the add on is that he wins ballon d'or.

http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11667/10137171/anthony-martial-could-cost-manchester-united-61-5m

Last season, he was the best attacker in our squad and now he's not even close to Silva? Come on...
We can go by all the awards Martial has won as a kid, or by his form last season. I'm not too convinced Mou rates him highly.
Do you see Martial as a consistent goalscorer who can get you 25-30 goals each season?
I don't, something is just missing from his game the last season.
Of course he is too young so he has time on his side to develop but with possible attacking reinforcements on their way this summer, Martial's chances will be limited.
won as a kid?? are you playing dumb or what? This is martial's second season at the club, and he won the damn award during his first season!! sometimes the things you say make no damn sense. martial is one of the biggest talents in europe, he had 18 goals and 11 assists in all comps last season at age 19/20 but i guess that doest count in your eyes.

he hasnt been getting the minutes this season and yet he's still got 8 goals and 8 assists in all comps, still decent production.
+2
That's what I'm trying to say, with all the minutes he got this season he was largely wasteful.
Now with Griezmann/ additional strikers and wingers rumoured to be coming, he is looking at very little playing time next season. Even less if Zlatan stays

Martial is a striker and not a winger for me, it's tough to picture him getting the same playing time next season as he did this season considering there will be more players competing for the positions
Anyone know about this 16 years old Brazilian kid from Flamengo that Real Madrid are signing for 38ml? He look like he's in his 30ths.
It's ridiculously huge gamble. It seems he has played only 11 minutes of first team football.
Lol very good for his age.
Have anyone see video of mou with justin kluivert after the match?is that was real or just edited.lol
the one with the subtitles is obviously fake. who knows what he really told him
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=43BiUVlNy58

great interview of mou with rio at OT. You can just tell both guys are winners.
+2
At one point in the interview he points out that after challenging himself in Portugal, England, Italy and Spain, he was back at Chelsea to stay in the premier league where it's most enjoyable for him. But things didn't go as planned. Now he's here. So I think if he doesn't f**k up big time in his third season he'll be a long serving United manager.
+1
So, Keane , van Dijk or Lindelof. The academy fan boy in me says Keane. Southampton is asking for crazy money for van Dijk and Lindelof is the same story.
from what ive seen van djk is a immensely talented. he's big unit, athletic, technical, what more can you ask for? im surprised he isnt at a top team already, his stats are immense.

not convinced with lindelof yet, and keane.. dont think he's quite at the level to play here consistently.
Van Dijk all days long.
It is a little ironic that all these years Arsenal consistently got qualification to the champion's league and other teams took turns missing out. Then, Arsenal miss out this year and every other team managed to make it.
+2
The year of the BIG 5 it will be!
Although against kids but still- Marouane Fellaini has won 15 aerial duels vs Ajax, a new record high in one match in Europa League history
+4
When Ajax played Lyon, I was thinking, these Ajax players look tall. At the end, it was Lyon with short players lol. We dominated the sky of Stockholm (Zlatansholm).
Fellaini was on his I am Groot mode.
