Jesus will be huge next season.
http://www.sportingnews.com/soccer/news/manchester-city-0-manchester-united-0-pep-guardiola-premier-league/1gftpdpbt0akp1jkowldb4g7rt

Guardiola opened up about our ageing squad...i hope this doesn't impact the full back in a negative way for the last 5 games lol imagine if they start scoring on their own team from anger lol
i think Pep just waved Zaba, Kolarov, Sagna and Clichy goodbye lol
Pep might keep 2 as backup and bring in 2 others I think
I doubt Pep is keeping any of them. Why would he let their contracts run out? All of them are on big wages and Pep knows its easy to just let their contracts run out because no one will sign them on their current wages. The only player I see Pep keeping is Kolarov because he can play LB and CB and is widely favored by Pep. The rest are gone. Even Willy is probably gone this summer.

From the way I see it. I think Pep will bring in 3 players for the back. One CB and two FBs. I do hope he promotes Maffeo who has proven himself when called upon as the 2nd choice RB. The other player I see leaving is Otamendi, Pep was already calling Otamendi to change his game the minute he came in to manage us. If Real come in for Otamendi as his agent Jorge Mendes has been mentioning, I want to see VVD join us. Although Ayermic is also rumored to join us who Pep wanted when he first joined us.

I can see 3-4 players coming in this summer. 3 at the back and maybe another holding MF to rotate with Fernandinho. I think were set everywhere else. Hoping we can keep Aguero this summer. Still unsure about his future.
With the injuries Utd had, we should have gotten all three points. Another game where we dominate and don't win. Can't help but think of Silva was fit, we would get the win. Despite our dominance Silva got so much influence in the MF. Nevertheless we should have won.

On the positive side. Kompany is back! We looked so much better at the back with him. Hope his injury free games long continue. Also, G. Jesus is back and boy is the kid impressive. Another disallowed goal for him, lol! But the potential of this kid is unreal.

Jesus is really scary forward...reminds me of chichrito with sneaky runs behind the defenders
Mancini was mentioned 8 times on this very page, I counted.
WTF is going on?
We just love him that's all.
+1
with him we pounded Man utd 1 - 6 at Old Trafford, and other games we always won 4 - 0 plus...he always had a plan B when things were not going well he would move Yaya up top and the opponent would almost always crack eventually even if they played with 11 players behind the ball and parked the bus like Man utd did today...but have to keep in mind Yaya Silva Dzeko Tevez Aguero were all in their prime of 24-26 years of age
We do not have the leaders in the current crop of players (not yet anyway). That is what is making us look soft. Kompany, Yaya, Tevez, Barry, Lescott and others had what it takes to lead. Maybe Stones will grow into one of the leaders we are looking for?

Mancini's team had leaders and hence we seemed very different and determined.
Mancini build the team that Pellegrini won the title with and Pep has. The solid core from Kompany, Silva, Aguero and Yaya to aging guys like Zabaleta. That's what I loved about Mancini, he could build a team together par the 2012/13 season where our director F***** up every transfer expect Nastasic.
think yall definitely should have won today.. just thinking about your future attack..

It'll get better. Sterling can be upgraded imo.
^so agreed, but i'm biased against sterling so take whatever i say about him with a grain of salt ;)

£500m team parking the bus in a game, like derby - embarrassing!! As far as us, seems like this has been the story of our season dominate the game but fail to win it sigh...

Oh here is Borinho's upgraded bus:

The team on the pitch wasn't worth 500 mln
+1
the team spent over 160 million pounds in just one window to park the bus
Next time I need to put myself to sleep I'll call Jose Mourinho

You are so lonely here Tomi. Join us in the Fellaini bashing party on UTD page lol
+2
Lol I am. I spend more time on the United page these days
I ended up watching a reply of Middlesbrough and Sunderland to try and lift my spirits after that. I hate these derby goalless draws it just sucks the life out of the game.

+7
fantastic lol
incredible
Bony cost us just as much Costa cost Chelsea and the difference between the 2 is obviously enormous...do we have crappy scouts? or was that Bony decision taken by Pellegrini mainly?
We bought Bony in the Jan window it was a panic buy. Those never work out. Dzeko was a good Jan window buy though
He was killing it for Swansea. We needed a striker and we bought him. Nothing bad about that call tbh. The only problem was he never really fit in our style of football.

The funny thing about all this was that Dybala was getting scouted that window by us and we were going to bid before Pellegrini wanted the deal to get wrapped up for Bony.
+1
you guys have Jesus , Aguero & Iheanacho. Not many teams have 3 good forwards in the ranks
+2
Lol Bazinga. Not really.

Jesus has played 4 games in total. He is not completely here yet. Both Iheanacho and Aguero are not natural #9s

We need someone a la Negredo/Dzeko to give us a different option.
+1
i agree with @Tomikato we need a #9 like Lewandowski ... Aguero played behind the #9 when he was at Atletico and the first few years at Man City he played that same position behind Dzeko or Balotelli, its only for the past 2 and half years is that he is playing the #9 position. You can find his interview with Henry he said it himself that I'm not a natural #9 i only played in the #9 position for the past 2 and a half years, he said sometimes i find myself on the left or right side and Guardiola tells me if someone crosses the ball there will be nobody to attack it. Just look up his interview with Henry.

Iheanacho has a good minutes per goal stats but i can't really see him being anything more than a substitute

But that Bony deal? prolly the worst deal we have ever had? the guy was so useless on the field it was no joke, that was definitely a bad call by Pellegrini. I think Mancini is good when it comes to recruiting players. When we won the title with Pellegrini, Mancini said its still my players like Dzeko Aguero Toure are scoring all the goals i created that team, i bought those players.
+2
@Moe these things happen in football. Bony looked like the best possible signing at the time, and a proven one in the Premier League. Now we all know Dybala is fantastic. Juve can do business which is no news...
@AgueroCity I feel the same way about Mancini. He had it spot on. For all that matters I wish we never changed manager to this day
@ManOnDMoon i agree Mancini's tactics fit perfectly the EPL and he wanted Van Persie really badly but the owners didnt back him cos they already wanted to bring someone like Pellegrini in, he also wanted Hazard a lot but our owners didnt back him again i think the difference was very minimum between what we had offered for him and what Chelsea had offered...Mancini was pretty pissed at that, he talked about Van Persie in one of his pre-match conferences that we were very close to singing him. But so far Guardiola's signings have been pretty impressive as well with Sane and Gabriel Jesus and Jones ... we saw glimpse of what Gundogan can do as well...

With Bony on the field i always felt like we were playing man down
Roberto Mancini was spotted on the London tube to Wembley. Once a citizen, always a citizen. I love Mancini and he really loves City.
+1
Bobby Manc will always be our legend
