Bravo saves when he wants
That was incredible lol!
Bravo looked so f*****g chill. It's like he knew exactly where they are shooting. Especially Nani, poor guy tried stutter step but Bravo just stood there like hurry up and get this s**t over with so I can save it
Ronaldo doesn't learn it seems his ego to be that guy cost them again. Take the first penalty... At least take the third after 2 misses, but nope he gotta be #5 for the potential of being "that guy"
+1
Ronaldo should have taken the first one and pump his teammates up to get them going, just like Vidal did. His teammates looked shook af, coming up to take it. Instead Ronaldo made the same mistake he made in Euro 2012 semis against Spain, he went for the glory going 5th. Fully knowing Chile were favorites coming into it. Their manager should have stepped in and ordered Ronaldo to take the first one.

As for Bravo, where was this guy the whole last season? Pep needs just let him wear a Chile kit next time he starts for City. That's the Bravo we need, stood their and made them the Portuguese look like bit***.
You guys watching Portugal vs Chile? It is amazing with three of our players involved
Ousmane Dembele anyone? lol

I know this is ridiculous but he is indeed linked. Will mean game over for Sterling though
Get him just to piss off Utd.
Anything to get sterling less playing time =p

Better than no finish one trick pony sterling
Sterling is better than people think. The only thing he lacks is finishing but other than that his a great winger. He blends well with the rest of our squad and he bonces off well with our creative outlets like KDB and Silva. His just as important as anyone in our build up play and his quick one-twos are essential as he puts defenders on ice gives our strikers the space they need. The biggest thing he does that goes unnoticed is his work-rate in defense, he really puts in a shift while going on full sprints after every attack for 90mins.
^That's pretty much how I would describe Neymar as well. His finishing has been below his standards really, but when you analyze his game, he's allowed Suarez and Messi to score a lot. And he makes an effort defensively.
Lol don't compare Neymar with Sterling. Sterling's final product has really not improved much in the last two years. Even if he did a little better he would be lethal.
Leave Dembele for us please. You got Jesus, Madrid will get mbappe and we get Dembele. Everyone's happy.
Were rumored to get Javi Martinez from Bayern.

I don't know about this, his a beast of a player, capable of playing CB and DM but his also injury prone. After that ACL back in 2014, he hasn't been the same in terms of games his played. Although we did also sign Gundogan, who's very similar in that case. Top player but injury prone.

If we get him for a decent price, I don't mind considering we missed out on our first two targets at CB. Pep moved him from DM to CB when Pep took over Bayern.
i liked him..i hope he come
He is still solid, surprised no one has ever tried to sign him.
I wouldn't go for Alves. He is old and you guys are rebuilding for the future.
His not going to be our first choice if that's your thinking. We let go of 3 players that can play at RB, so 2 are coming in. Our first choice RB, could be Walker idk and Dani Alves as back up.
i don't think Alves will settle for "back up" plus Pep likes him more than Walker for an obvious reason that he worked with him
Lol nope. If he is coming to city he will play as primary. Pep wants two primaries to compete instead of having an understudy model. Even at 34 yrs it is hard to find someone better than dani.

Similarly Bertrand would be considered a starter to compete with mendy. I think we will get all four and Sanchez. This season is going to be massive :D
+1
Yeah I don't think he'll leave Juve just to be a backup. He'll at least be a starter in his 1st year unless he underperforms
@Tomi, I never said he won't use him, of course he will use Dani considering the amount of rotations Pep makes but if we do sign Kyle Walker, I doubt Walker will be on the bench for many games over a 34 year old Dani Alves who as good as he is, has declined and the speed of the PL might be tough to adjust to at his age. Kyle Walker would be the n1 no doubt.

As for Sanchez, I don't see why we need him tbh. Pep is already trying hard to get G. Jesus and Aguero in the starting XI, where is Sanchez going to play with Sane and Sterling wanting game time? Unless we sell a big name, I don't see how Sanchez can get into our team.
+1
Don't make the same mistake Barca did and underestimate Dani's capability as a 34 year old. The man can play football and I'd bet a lot of money that his age would not stop him from tearing the PL a new one and making Walker earn that starting spot. I think there are Juve fans who would also back me up on that. I'd be happy for Dani if he got to play under Pep again. Him and Sane would be deadly down the right...
+1
@Moe and Glory - kinda agree with both. Dani might not play all the games, but there sure will be fierce competition between the two RBs, and that is exactly what Pep will want. City will benefit from two really good RBs competing. Can't go wrong with either of them.

Dani has a good 1-2 years in him until we find another good RB. Otherwise we promote from our academy in North London :P
^ It will be a fierce battle, Walker is a tank with speed but Dani has pace and is a much better crosser of the ball.
Tomi- You dint explain why do you think you need Sanchez and how will you accommodate him in this team?

---------------Aguero/Jesus---------------

Sane-----------KDB/Sliva----------B Sliva
We won't sign him, not needed.
@ Bazinga - here's how

Sanchez/Sane ----- Aguero/Sanchez/Jesus------- Sterling Jesus
-----------Silva/Silva-------------KdB/Gundogan----------------
-------------------Fernandino/Yaya/Gundogan-----------------------------

Obviously this is an over simplification - but you get the gist. I think Sterling will suffer and Yaya will play very less. Others will get ample play time
I prefer Gold Jesus or even Baby Jesus on the right, Tomi
lol Joey :D

we used to have a gazillion Jesuses. Now we only have a brazilian one.
we all be playing in 4 different competitions, I'm sure everyone will get enough playing time including Sterling. We signed him for 50 mil pounds for a reason, i think he's the most expensive player we have signed
plus we are offloading a lot of strikers too. NILito is out already, Iheanacho is about to be sold to West Ham, but if you consider injuries and stuff everyone will get enough playing time.
This video has pretty much been the highlight of the summer for me in terms of football. Poor De Bruyne lol

Anyone watching Bernardo Silva for Portugal against Russia. Brilliant player!
Benjamin Mendy deals looks to be done. Could be announced at the end of the week.
I told you - we are going to end up with Mendy, Bertrand, Walker and Alves
Lol!

Alves, Mendy and Walker seemed like its only a matter of time before its announced. Bertrand idk about but at this point, I'm sure his coming as well.

Have heard nothing about a CB which is worrying. Stones, Otamendi and Kolarov is not going to win us anything.
Would take Dani Alves in a heart beat. Would be an awesome back up to have, his still in great condition and brings so much experience.
back-up? He is a starter at Juve and not sure why he would come here if he is going to be back-up.
$$
@Bazinga, his not a long term Juve starter and Juve knows that, they will replace him very soon. Were offering 5mil for his services, they will most likely take it.
Yup its on BBC as well...looks like it will happen and he will be good temp. solution who will make city attack fu*in scary.
the guy is 34 so we cleared up our full backs because they were all over 30 and replace them with another thats already 34? doesn't make sense to me
Well unless the club wants to drop another 40mil on another FB (crazy) we have to settle. His most likely a back-up until we sign someone else or Maffeo proves himself in la liga next season. Also, lets be honest, even at 34 years old Alves offers more than Sagna and Zabaleta do combined.
But Danny plays like an experienced 28 yr old. I'd take him anyday. His crossing is accurate... with jesus gone now think of how many more goal scoring chances will happen lol
City definitely need another RB though. Dani Alves won't be able to play every game and he's certainly a defensive liability since he pushes up too much. But a very good deal and I'm excited for him.
His not going to be the starting RB, its most likely Kyle Walker with Dani Alves playing as a back-up.
Looks like Hudderfield is going to sign Mooy for 10mil. No surprise, I liked him a lot but they need him more and we need to start selling and making some money back. I hope we can at least get:

Mangala: 18mil
Hart: 15mil
Nasri: 15mil
Fabian Delph: 12mil
Fernando: 10mil
Iheanacho: 20mil
Enes Unal: 12mil

We should not cut prices on our players when some of them are still quality, especially to smaller PL teams considering they earn a lot of money from tv deals.
Hart is not even going for £12 million. I think this is what will happen:

Mangala: 10 mil
Hart: 10 mil
Nasri: 10 mil
Delph: 8 mil
Fernando: 8 mil
Iheanacho: 15 mil
Unal: 12 mil (already done)

So we are looking at an outlay of 73 mill instead of your predicted 102 :P but obviously i am hoping you are closer to the final number lol
i agree with Tomikato, there is no way you will get 15 mil for Hart. He was never a good goalie, it was more a matter of City always having top quality defenders so that kind of kept Hart safe but as soon as he moved to Torino he was exposed. The only game he came handy was the champions league game against Dortmund but even in that game most of the saves he made were shots from long range so it made him look good. No wonder Liverpool pulled out of deal for Hart. So you will be lucky to get 10 mil for him at the moment even teams like crystal palace newcastle etc have better keepers than Hart i think he recently said it himself nobody is interested in him.
Well add 10mil with Aaron Mooy and I forgot about Bony, I'd say 10-12 mil at least. 93-95mil with those two added on. The club is target 100mil in returns for player sales.
What happened to Iheanacho? I genuinely he was the real deal when he got chances but then Jesus arrived and Aguero got pushed out marginalizing Iheanacho even more... The guy is still young and decent young strikers are hard to come by. 15-20 mil would be a disaster if that is all you guys can get for him.
@kiran - there is going to be a buyback clause in Iheanacho's sale - I hope he comes back after getting regular football
That's not even true AgueroCity, hart did a wonderful job on loan at birminham and won the city and england role for his great shot-stopping ability. City haven't had a consistent and good back line in years, thats why you keep buying expensive CBs just about every summer. Otamendi, Mangala, Stones, and we linked with bailly and VVD.

Hart's problem has been his concentration, without much action it seems his brain leaks out his ears and he makes mistakes.,

specifically, he fell out with pep because pep requires a ball playing GK to kick start the offense from the back. Hart isnt so good at distribution.
