How badly are we doing with our finishing? With 17 odd shots and 7 on target we scored 2 goals. Both goals were arguably assists from Lloris, although one might say that we put him under immense pressure. I think we are having a finishing crisis (apart from the defensive one).

Aguero hasn't been arriving. Silva was never a shooter. De Bruyne has not been scoring enough. Sterling was never a goal scorer. Our goal scoring threat has been muted of late.

I think we need more goal scorers to be in the frontline. Sane & Jesus might just be getting more and more games likely because they seem like they can develop into goal scorers as opposed to some of our other frontline players.
Probably. I like Nacho as well but his a pure finisher, his first touch does often let him down but the kid is beast when it comes to positioning and getting behind the defenders. Sane and Jesus are much better with the ball at their feet and can score goals as well. We will most likely see more of these two in the coming games, question is who gets sacrificed for Jesus?

Speaking of stats, Bravo needs to be discussed. Spurs had only 2 shots on target and both were goals. Starting worry me, half a season gone by and our starting goalkeeper is struggling. I don't see why Pep can't start Willy Caballero for a few games.
Pep is stubborn, he doesn't want to look bad for not playing Bravo when he rated him over Hart so highly. We need a Aguero to shape up really, he needs to be ruthless in front of goal, similar to Tevez with his bulldog like approach (I miss that guy) or even Suarez, get people calling his name, defenders trembling in their boots, I believe if he can get to that form confidence will rise throughout the team and everyone will find their shooting boots a lot better, we need a terrorist up front, (Someone if they get a sniff of a chance goal) just like we need a brick wall at our back.
Where's Nolito?? Haven't seen him play for a while and his not in the injury list either. With Sane playing really well and with G.Jesus around now, its going to be tough for him. Although What I loved about him is that his played a hybrid LW/CM position and still got some important goals for us,a real hard worker. Wouldn't mind dropping Aguero for Nolito because Aguero seems a bit flat and hasn't hit his form yet.
Not sure why Nolito has not been playing. He has always been good when played and also scored regularly. Very strange.

He is not good enough to replace Aguero though - he wasn't that incisive when leading the line during that one game when Pep tried him there.
+1
He hardly plays as a striker tbf to him tho. Although I think it could work given more games, I mean it would have helped if he was able to come off the bench to play up top more often. Would have at least gotten use to it. I think the problem with some wingers is that their so use to playing at wide and getting touches but when their pegged up top, it takes some getting use to. I think Nolito can work, if Pep seriously considers Sterling who can't seem to finish to play as a makeshift striker when needed, Nolito should be given a fair shake.
Very well played today lads. I feel like we stole that point.
+6
Definitely stole a point, 3-1 up and 11 v 10 if that was called right. And they were already all over us. Would've been a blowout.
Wrong forum.
Moe66, I think he is saying your lads (city) played well
+6
Spurs fans laud City and admit they were lucky, but Moe you get upset about that? Come one bro, this is what's called 'good sportsmanship'.

In the day and age where Trump and Putin are the most powerful people on Earth, I understand everything seems cynical, but these guys were just being nice.
I wasn't upset. Tbh, its hard to tell weather it was meant for their forum or it was meant for us. I just thought they put in the wrong forum. Just a misunderstanding lol!

@Bwfyid, Thanks man!
Thanks for the kind words guys. Good game. Positives overall
Ahhh is a win too much to ask for. We played a better game today.
+1
We really did, the 2-0 was almost too good, feels more like a loss than a draw. I was jumping with joy when G.Jesus scored, only to find out it was offside:(
+3
Haha me too, thought for sure G.Jesus saved us.
+1
Robbed, even so Sterling most likely will lose his spot to jesus because he cant finish.
+3
Sterling has been the unluckiest player this season imo...poor guy
This Jesus guy is quality. For a moment he made me forget we fluffed the 3 points
+1
You guys are playing very well. Just need to finish those chances

Really good first half. s**t finishing though...So many wasted chances!
+1
No offense but Otamendi is a pretty s**t defender and not a very good passer.

Looking forward to seeing Jesus though. Hopefully he gets some game time
