Kun is a beast. I feel sorry that he didn't win the WC this year. Deserves a medal for being such a monster of a player. BTW - anyone notice that Aguero and Dzeko have amazing stats against Spurs? They always score against them!
I love Kun as much as the next city fan however your following remarks are absurd. He had an awful WC and most of argentina in all honesty were underwhelming. As a athlete or a regular guy you deserve nothing unless its in your contract.
Khessler hit the nail on the head. The WC is the worst that I have ever seen Aguero play. May have been the injuries, but he was as awful as can be. Sabella should had placed more faith in Lavezzi, who was so much better during the WC.

Having said that, Kun is coming back to life. Warms the heart when a striker finishes with his wrong foot the way he did by dancing past a hapless Vertonghen.
Apparently we may be in for Ozil. He has been my favorite non-city player since the 2010 world cup.
Great player no doubt, would be a awesome backup for Silva.
backup? i was thinking they would play together...
I don't think we need him. Great player, but he strikes me as one with a lackadaisical attitude and not one who is a team player. Another major reason - his defensive capabilities are mediocre at best and he does not like to track back at all.

We have just about assembled a very cohesive team with a great spirit - I don't think Ozil should get a call in here. Again - I say he is one of the best playmakers around, just that I wouldn't like him in our team.

Aguero is what every team wants, but few teams have, a truly world class footballer who plays the game with a smile on his face. He isn't petulant and hands in a transfer request every other season (Rooney), he doesn't slag his manager or team off, and most importantly he plays for the team every time. If anyone has his twitter or facebook, he tweets after every game (whether he plays or not) to thank the fans and talk the team up ('Vamos City!', his regular sign off). Hes one the best players in the league as the stats show, hes the best striker we've ever had in our league. Hes the one player fans from any team, no matter who they support, say to me : "Aguero, he really is fantastic", and that's a testament to how he conducts himself as much as his talent, because he's so likable. So glad he signed the new contract as hes our talisman and like any team without their talisman, we are not the same, and wouldn't be the same without King Kun, Vamos City! :).

When I found out we signed him from Atletico I was going crazy but I woundered how good he would do in the PL compared to the La liga. After his first two goals in his debut against Swansea coming off the bench I doubt no more. Guy is a gem, if he stays injury free then we are going to hard to beat.
I was going crazy too lol, years before we signed him he was my favorite striker in Spain, I watched him David Silva and David Villa closely as I had a liking for them, I was ecstatic when I heard we were going to sign Silva, and then Aguero, it was a dream come through.
@Silva, I read your same comment in skysports.com too. :). You have got a lot of likes for that comment.
+1
Aguero will win the league for City again. I hope he keeps playing like this and avoid injuries.
+2
If he had not gotten injured last year he would have been right there with suarez above 30 goals.
Its going to hard to displace Milner from the starting XI at this point. His just been great and consistent in his last 5 games that his started. Glad MP is starting show some belief in him, he needs to be one the sheet every game.
+2
Silva and Kompany were playing poorly today. Silva misplaced too many passes and Kompany gave unnecessary free kicks and caught out of position too many times, Demichelis was better than him today.
+1
Fernando had a nightmare game in the first half, kept giving the ball away.
+1
Aguero is god!
+2
Agüero, Hart, and Milner were all fantastic today.
+2
Must give Joe Hart some credit, saving that penalty was a crucial moment.
Both keepers were good, the result is harsh on lloris
+2
It wasn't just the penalty, Joe was brilliant all game. He's playing for that new contract!
+1
Milner should get some credit as well, Had a excellent game with a great effort that went off the post.
+1
Kun Aguero !!!!!!!!! what a player , always wanted him at Barcelona to pair up with his mate , not gona happen but still i love him :D
Damn Right it's not gonna happen, just like Messi coming here would never happen, thanks though :)
+7
Today might have been the best match I've ever seen him play and I still get the impression he could do better.
