Pep never stops working on and off the pitch. Brings Fernando and Fernandinho to have dinner with Txiki and himself. Not surprised, using the Brazilian duo to help G. Jesus to settle into life at Manchester. Glad to have this talented kid on board! Welcome to Citeh!
Pep does that. He's the sort of boss who works extremely hard, is extremely good at what he does, but you have to have the same passion an drive or you won't fit in. Kind of like my boss at work; I like that.
Looking forward to tomorrow! top game. I want us to win this so badly, especially given it's at home
Its so early, 4:30am PT for me.
+1
when is the earliest match gabriel jesus can play for city
Earliest would be against Burnley if not Everton.
What has pep done to yaya lol told him to chill for five months and now his f*****g OP
Lol he told him to stay on the treadmill for 5 months and get in shape. Looks like it has worked. Always good to have an option like Yaya to draw upon.

Speaking of players, seems like Coutinho will be missed for 5-6 weeks that's tragic he was the main creative outlet in the team. Liverpool will face the test of depth in the coming games.
Origi should do fine for Liverpool. I like the kid, his just as much of creator as he is a scorer. Very good player.

As for Yaya, Pep just wanted to get him in shape. I think most us where under the impression he just didn't like him or wanted to sell him because the media sure did a good job making it look that way. Pep even stated he would consider adding Yaya in our January UCl squad come January.
We have 3 huge games until the end of the year.

Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool.

None of the tests we have had have been even close to these. Spurs IMO aren't better than these, we just screwed up big time by playing into their 'pressing' hands. Among the top teams I think we have played the least games against the top 4 to 6 teams so we have some proving to do.
This will be a big test for Pep as approaching these three teams will be very different and difficult. Its about time anyways, I want to see if our guys are really good enough for the the title this year, we've been great against Chelsea in the past but this is a different team and well Arsenal and Liverpool have always managed to get a good result against us no matter how bad their form was.
haha aguero's 2 goals had a combined distance of 2.5 yards from the goal line. lol
11 games, 10 goals in the PL.

I know its dailyfail but I have a feeling Pep will to it. Its been confirmed Kompany is out for 4-6 weeks. At best he would return late December but it's really looking like lost cause here. I love Vinnie but if anything will cost us the title run, its going to be our failure to not bring in another CB and depend heavily on Otamendi and Stones. With all the tinkering Pep has been doing trying to find a solution, his going to sign a new CB come Jan.

We've been linked to Bonucci and Laporte but I just don't see it happening. I'm sure the club is going to be realistic about who their going to bring, January is tricky, not many players are going to be up for sale.
Anyone know why Fernandinho was given a red card vs. Gladbach?
I don't understand why. Not sure anyone really understood where the red came from.
Defence catching butterflies
Wtf is this with 3 at the back. We looked butt naked everytime they had the ball in the final third. A better team would have finished us long back. I don't understand this bs after having sagna and zaba available.

So now we are a ball playing team from the back AND we have a defender less. This is the only one thing about pep which baffles me
If your gonna play a back 3, you better have 3 strong CBs. Not a young CB, who's never played in a back 3 and a make shift CB who's always been a liability in defense. Can't get the logic behind this.

Other than that, lack luster performance from City, Gladbach where inspired form but glad we got a draw.
Another injury to Kompany:( Out with another knee injury.

It's crazy that his only 30 but its getting worse and worse for him. I do feel for Kompany, he knows Pep will be taking notes and making a big change next summer. Pep is trying to bring Kompany into the fold but if this continues Pep won't have much of choice other than to replace him.
Jesus, Kompany just can't catch a break (no pun intended). I swear every time he gets back, he just gets another injury.

Do you think you guys are rushing him back too fast. With Sturridge we made him wait roughly 5-6 weeks after he was fit before he played and hasn't been injured since.
Could be something the team could try but tbh we don't have many options at the back. The only specialist CBs we have are Otamendi, Stones and Kompany. Kolarov is make-shift and a young 18 year old Tosin.

With Liverpool, you guys have more options in Firmino, Origi, Ings, hell I'm sure Mane can even shift into a striker position. My point is, Stuzza has all the time he needs to get fit and wait it out but Kompany really doesn't, he knows the team needs him.
Feel really bad for Kompany, he just came back from a long injury
