"Laporte has not missed a SINGLE Premier League game for City this season (26 starts, 1 sub appearance)" - the unsung hero and arguably the best CB in the PL.
cue for some liverpool fans to come and give a piece of their mind.
nah he said arguably, and one could most definitely make an argument for laporte who has been brilliant since gameweek 1.
My ranking would be:
1. VVD
2. Alderweireld
3. Laporte
Jorginho right now regretting moving to Chelsea.
+2
Joining a long list of people regretting not choosing city.
+2
^yup yup yup, their loss smh lol.

I mean from the outside clearly you can see we are a club with a plan and ambition for silverware and are currently achieving that at the moment, we also pay decent wages, have great players and staff, what more could you ask for :/
His loss now. He really would have been perfect for us, Busi wasn't the quickest player when Pep was at Barca but had a high football IQ. Jorginho would have been the same time. Not sure why he went to Chelsea when they already had Kante.
Or maybe we dodged a bullet with him going to Chelsea:D
^To play Sorryball of course silly.
One more, here where we're currently standing:

PL: 1st
Carabao Cup: Final vs. Chelsea
FA Cup: Quarter Finals vs. Swansea
CL: Round of 16 vs. Schalke

Not bad, let's keep it up and finish strong - Come on City!!
+1
Let's go bro! I'll take 3 of those trophies if not 4, and I'm easy as sunday morning.
+1
Same here lol...3 out of 4 would be niiice!!
Klopp:

“Buying English players is a smart idea because we would never have a chance to get [Jadon] Sancho. We are not blind - we saw him, we liked him and then we think "Can we get him?" No. Because English clubs don't sell to other English clubs.”

Facepalm, the title race pressure has started affecting his memory, didn’t Liverpool sell Sterling to us?
lol, Klopp thinking he full Jamaican.
+4
i think he's saying it's harder to acquire players (like sancho) from rival clubs. it took 50m to get sterling away, which now looks like the right price, but at the time seemed extraordinarily high for an 8 goal a season player who had massive potential, it's true. I don't think it's a ridiculous thing to say unless you take every word literally.
+4
^^Except, Sancho was our academy player with NO first team experience and who was on his LAST year of contract and who also REFUSED to extend it. So, we had to either let him go for the reported £8m or free several months later. Thus, it's a "ridiculous thing" to say by Klopp because a) he would've gotten him if he wanted because of Sancho's contract situation and b) he's plane wrong by saying "English clubs don't sell to other English clubs,” didn't he signed Oxlade-Chamberlain from Arsenal recently?

P.S. I wouldn't be surprised Lordjaggi lol...
You’re right, klopp is a total moron with no memory. Worst manager ever! He’s the devil 😈

lol on a more serious note, Do you think it would have been just as easy for Liverpool to sign him as Dortmund? Maybe it would have I suppose, but typically, isn’t it harder to sign a player from a rival? I think you’re over thinking it.
+1
Pretty regular take. Try signing Declan rice right now and you’re lookin at the other side of 60 mil. I’d like to sign chillwell but he will also cost over 50
+3
Klopp = antichrist

also

Klopp = ignorant/deluded
When we sold sterling the club was in a complete different place, our financial/negotiations strategy has completely changed since Klopp has come in. Let's not forget this the same ownership that sold torres to Chelsea, they trusted the wrong people at the time.. The same thing won't happen today.

Also, don't know what's so face palm about his comments, city would rather choose to sell abroad then to another English club. Anyways keep the obsessive posts coming 👍😉
@Honestabe, fair point on your 2nd paragraph man, maybe it wouldn't have been as easy to get him as I made it out.

Oh and not conceding against Bayern without VVD today, was pretty impressive. Something that we failed every time we played them in the CL.

@Sergio: "what's so face palm about his comment" - if you didn't get my point from my two posts, then you might need reading comprehension because you're confusing cannot sign/don't sell vs harder to sign a player from rivals as you need to pay a lot $$$, which is what he probably meant as Honestabe & Khessler pointed it out. And my issue was with his statement "don't sell to rivals," when he just bought Oxlade-Chamberlain.

"keep the obsessive posts coming" - LOL...look up the definition of "obsession" because many Liverpool fans, including youself, fit the definition because as soon as Liverpool name is mentioned here, you guys show up without fail but if someone else does the same thing on your forum, they're automatically branded trolls.
+2
Hi all,

I'm back from my hiatus to say this to all pools fans.

pot calling the kettle black..

obsessed my foot. you guys are the ones who are so insecure, u couldn't resist to pop up at other forums to defend your bitch ass club. just be cool ok.. we dont need so many liverpool police in the internet
@Foooty, that game gave me diabeetus. bayern are not quite at full strength which definitely helped, but i'm very glad of the clean sheet.
coman, lewa, gnabry doesn't sound quite as scary as robbery, but those fellas are QUICK. gnabry made robertson look amateur at times. weird match, most exciting 0-0 i've seen in a while, but sloppy.
So, we got Swansea next in the FA cup!

Here is a fun FA cup fact:

"City won the FA Cup for the 1st time
-5 years before United
-26 before Arsenal
-61 before Liverpool
-66 before Chelsea"

But, but no history they say, eh.
+1
This should be shown to every United fan that says your club has no history
The boy that Sterling sent a letter after he was racially abused at school, was at the Newport v City match. Sterling met him after the game and gave him a signed shirt and more advice.

Props to Sterling and it's sad to see this s**t still going in the 21st century.
Sterling is a strong human being. If someone talked sh*t like that to me, trust me I'm jumping into the crowd and letting them know, what's what. No way I'm going to let someone belittle.
+2
Sterling has come leaps and bounds since his move to the club. He is currently our best wide man by far and is a terror for opposition defenders. Mentally strong af, this man.
+2
Here are our injury Update:

Kompany - Training
Mangala - Training
Mendy - Expected to return to training this week
Bravo - Expected to return next month

Come on guys, we need you all!!

P.S. Ok, maybe not Mangala hehe...
I feel for Mangala but wtf is this man still doing here lol

I don't get it. Is he just happy coming to training a few hours a day and kicking back in the weekends? I don't even see him in the 18 anymore. What does he do?
You already answered your own question moe, (kicking back and getting paid) living the dream, Alexis Sanchez know what I'm talking about.
Saw this on twitter LOL:

"I’m an Everton fan who’s on loan to Manchester City for the rest of the season."

P.S. The only club that deserves respect on Merseyside!
lol
Subscribe to the Man City youtube channel, you can watch all the training sessions...its funny Mangala still trains lol he doesn't even feature in cup games. 40mil gone to waste.
Also watch the Inside City videos. They have like 329 episodes. I still remember the 1st one when Nasri joined City lol.
Yah I watch those too...now they changed the format, they use drones more often in making their videos.
What do you guys think of Mahrez? He has been hot and cold and after that penalty miss against Liverpool, he hasn't been selected regularly. I think he has been good whenever he plays but not great, like he can be. I hope he's taking his time to become familiar with the team, like B.Silva did in hist 1st season, but next season truly showcase his talent. Having said that, there are still many games left in this season and we're still in all 4 competitions. So, he'll have an opportunity to make a real difference.:)
His just transitioning but we should be damn lucky to have him. His a beast of winger! When Pep signed him, I instantly knew Pep was out for some blood.
^^agree he's a beast of a winger and hopefully we'll see that more soon. However, it has to be pointed out that Sterling, Sane and B. Silva have been outstanding, so it's hard to make a case for him to play ahead of any of these guys at the moment.
He's a fantastic player. Lately when he's come on though - he's tried to do a bit much instead of sticking to the basics. I have a feeling that might have a bit to do with Pep holding him back. If you guys remember, when Bernardo came in as a sub so many times last year, he would just play his normal self no matter what - that made him Pep's favorite over time
Mahrez scored against Newport today so that should move him up in Pep's list. He was immense at the start of the season, I think he had more goals and assists than anyone and a lot of pundits said he was the signing of the year around that time but then he had a drop in form. Having said that all our midfielders (we have a lot of them but no LB lol) are fit so that makes it hard for Mahrez.
@Footballiscity, Mahrez's goal will count for nothing with Pep. He was not at his best throughout the game.

The pitch was garbage though and nobody could really showcase their skills to be fair.
He's being outperformed by Bernardo! It'll take something special to see him a regular starter. I don't see cameos and cup games being consistent enough playing time to get ahead of the BERN.
