We lost 10 points against current bottom 4 teams where as Chelsea lost 3 points and Liverpool did not loose anything.
Similarly aginst Chelsea and Liverpool we gifted them 3 points where we could have got 1 point from each game.

So anyone can judge where and how we lost title this season.
MP himself and players have to change their mentality and do not be overconfident against bottom table teams.
I also came across a good read I find spot on and would like to share

http://thepremierleagueowl.com/why-arent-manchester-city-more-dislikeable/

Agreed 100%
Our club doesn't have that big history of silverware to flaunt which also means less glory hunters, in that sense many of the fans are true loyal citizens from before the days our Sheikh took over. Not to forget the facilities and academy being built for the community is all in the best interest of the City of Manchester. Pellegrini is a master class of a coach, even after our loss to Liverpool he shook hands with each pool player and the city fans carrying YNWA signs at anfield. Players like Aguero, Yaya, Silva, Kompany are all role models. Winning last second v QPR 11/12 season was something heroic taken out of a Hollywood context. There are many reasons why this club is on another level, to me it seems the collective approach of everyone involved in it just makes me proud to be a Citizen.
Well i have to admit Pellegrini has moments where he oozes class and provides a great feel to your overall perception as a club.

Good read and analysis

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/manchester-city/10777416/Manchester-City-Six-reasons-for-their-collapse.html
His so right in every way. I wish I could read it to Pelle or something because this article is spot on. For starters the overworked players like Toure and Fernandinho who have been overworked despite the motto of the club in the beginning of the season on how rotation is key. Players such as Lescott, Milner, Rodwell and Richards (English players oddly) are either overlooked or not selected ahead of another player. I mean Demi over Lescott? Garcia over Rodwell? Richards being overlooked even when his fully fit? This calls make no sense.

Also players being pushed early into games. Kompany being rushed back because of the goals we leaked or Aguero in the second leg of the barca game. Where they really fit enough or where they rushed back?

I knew after Nastasic was out for a while and Kompany was in and out that we needed a CB with quality to come and especially in the Barca game it would bite us in the ass hard and what do you know it did!
Will have to agree with most of that, except for the title. "Collapse" is ridiculous, we can still win.
The last time journos started writing analysis of our "collapse" we went on winning the league and it started vs West Brom. Hope it's a good omen!
If we win our remaining game I have a feeling we just might sneak away with the title, let's hope the tactician gets it right against the scousers :D
i think every city fan will be a chelsea fan come next weekend :D
hope negredo will end his drought tomorrow..if we stumble again...
Our remaining games are a huge test. West Brom and Aston Villa aren't safe from relegation. Everton is pushing for 4th place. And crystal palace don't have as much to play for but are a strong opponent.
my lineup

joe
zab komp demi clichy
garcia fern
milner jovetic
dzeko aguero

jovetic as lw, and time to drop nasri for milner
I don't know why Rodwell doesn't get the start, his so much better then Garcia. Garcia doesn't really contribute anything to the game. He can't keep up with the games high tempo, his always 5 steps behind.

Although I agree with your line up, drop Nasri doesn't derserve to start considering how poor he was, he looked so sluggish and lazy.

-----Joe-------
Zab-Kom--Dem-Clichy
---Gar--Fern-----
Mil---Agu---Jovetic
-----Dzeko-----

Bring in Navas, Nasri and Rodwell or Negredo second half.
These clubs are favorite to win the tile Chelsea are having a strong side, Manchester city are not consistent, Liverpool are determine
did u realize what u just said?
Go home youre drunk
troll attack in process
Ignore
I feel like the FA want Liverpool to win the league
+1
Why ?
I guess you meant it's because they get a lot of penalties, get away with dives, shirt pulls and fouls etc..

Even with that we should have won the title by now or be first in the table at least with postponed games.
yea suarez's 10 game ban rly helped us out
+2
CMON NORWICH
sakho skrtel, both are dirty players
+2
That slide by Sakho wow..
The whole season Skertel's been mauling players down and not a single red card he was given. The blatant handball he did with us was also overlooked.
+2
Must HAVE been a distinct smile on Pellegrini's face if he was watching Mourinho and Co on TV today.
I'm saying that in reference to his personal issues with mourinho and the fact that Pellegrini said it would be the biggest disappointment if Chelsea win the league. It's out of our hands and ur absolutely right he should be hard at work to do all that he can from now on.
Maybe, but he shouldn't be smiling just yet, if anything he should be rallying the troops to fight harder so we don't come unstuck against our upcoming oppositions.
+1
What else he can do ? Instead of preparing teams and making plan B against next opposition he may be playing gulf in Manchester. And our multi millionaires are planning for investment and vacation, who cares about winning something for fans?
