Watched him play in UCl and his quality. Very good signing. Although be prepared for the fans who will judge him based on the price we pay for him.
One thing I'm liking about Pep is he's signing players at 22 years of age, which is a perfect age IMO because they are young but at the same time not too too young and they can be part of the club for at least 10 years...i didn't like how we signed NILito when he was so old already
You can tell Pep is thinking long term for the club not short term
Nolito was a short term signing, just an impact signing until guys like Sane got started and running. When Sane found his form, Nolito was benched. I kind of feel bad for Nolito in a way. Pep convinced him to join us instead of Barca, a move he probably regrets now.

As for the new signing. Its expected to go to for younger talent, 22-24 is a good age range. We've had so many ageing players, its time for a new era.

Don't know how reliable this source is, but others are reporting it as well. Possibly because of how ridiculous it is. Do you guys think there is any validity to this? I know City have money, but I didn't think it was like this....
waste of money for City. You guys need to build defense.

yeah we already got Sane Aguero Gabriel Sterling in attack
Its just a bullsh*t rumor, media things just because we signed Silva and are after a few more players, were going to sign every in the market.
Just realized signing Bernardo Silva spells doubt over Patrick Roberts future. Even Sterling will find it hard to get minutes next season with Aguero/Jesus and B. Silva at the club. Patrick Roberts could be sold, I don't see him accepting to get loaned out again. He seemed like he really wanted to come back. Tough luck.
I'm excepting Ederson of Benfica and Benjamin Mendy to be announced soon. Both player seem like a done deal from what I'm hearing. Although our spending is scary. 43mil on Silva, probably 43-45mil on Mendy and 35mil on Ederson. We've yet to get a CB or a RB. Lord have mercy were going to break the 200mil mark.
Moe66 - Remember we discussed about this couple of days back and you felt it would be around 150m :).

Mendy , Ederson , Walker will cost close 100-110m. Once more CB and Silva fee will bring it close to 200m i guess
I remember but I didn't except us to sign Silva, neither was I excepting Mendy because I thought we were linked to other cheaper players like Jose Luis Gaya LB, Fabinho for 25mil for RB/DM, not those two. From the looks of it, its going to be Silva, Mendy, Ederson, Walker and a CB.
Goodbye Zaba!

Alright, I'm off; I've got something in my eye. In both of them :'(
Freaking onions ninjas!
Brilliant signing imo, so many wide options now and partnered with two brilliant forwards city are going to be really strong next season
43mil for Bernando Silva? Nice! Anything below 50mil for a player of his quality and his only 22 years old is a steal signing. Pep will mold him to a hybrid CM in the future or could stick in the RW depending on what formation Pep uses. Either way, really excited!

Benjamin Mendy could be following him as well. The 22 year old LB is also on Pep wanted list. Another versatile FB that can play in DM with a strong defensive ability.
city got another silva..nice..welcome to the moon
Tomikato you got your Bernado Silva :D

Great buy for y'all, tho I feel your defence needs most work
Yeah Tomi was too worried that United and Chelsea were linked with him.....Must be big relief for him :P
He's replacing Navas we are still signing players so defence is next
Muahahahah my dream has come true. He will be city's future in terms of replacing David - and truly I can say I feel very strongly that Bernardo will deliver. I am on the moon right now!

This is the guy I wanted most to join this summer and he was delivered in a day lol
