Pep stated a while ago that his happy with his current team. I wounder what his thinking right now?
No thinking, PL pressure has turned him mad.
What are the expectations you guys have for Pep this season?

Are you happy with him having so much control in the transfer market? Once he leaves, the next manager is going to have an incredibly hard time cleaning up his mess. Look at how he left Bayern, a clear regression from Jupp's team. Fortunately for them, he couldn't last for more than three seasons.

You guys played much better under the likes of Pellegrini and Mancini. Pep is only here for the cash considering he is already talking about retirement 21 games into the season.
He was at Bayern for 3 seasons not 2, but go on lol
To beat Arsenal...which he did :D this season is about building the youth system and rebuilding the first team.

And I'm guessing you're happy with getting 4th place every season aren't you @DTG. Worry about your own team and manager instead of bull shitting here.

Yes/no we've had ups and downs with all our managers.
+2
@Alexis, whoooooops, updated :P
A top four finish isn't out of reach for city and then followed by some wise spending in the summer time, pep should be set to go. Any successful system need players who fit the mold so adjusting to Pep's possession riddled, high line system is a hard task.

He's a smart guy and will come good eventually.
@Zorsita Do you seriously think even after spending 150m city would have gone out of top 4 contention with still 17 games to go?? lol

Oh barca fans here too why am i not surprised lol
Coming from a United fan who spent 89 mil on one player and are 2 points behind City lol

If they are out of top 4 contention then I don't know where United are lol. Not to mention United spent just as much as City and finished 2nd in Europa League.

But oh yea I forgot. If United finished all those chances and if they didn't concede all of those goals and if Pogba scored all of those goals then they would have been first in EPL and first in Europa and Pogba would be the best midfielder in the world.
If Pep/Mou fail to get top 4 given the resources and experience they have, they deserve the sack. No excuses.
I disagree. Letting those managers spend so much money on players and then sacking them the year after is a terrible idea. At least give both of them 2 seasons.
Not that I'm complaining, but what was he thinking shipping Hart out? Showing who's the boss?
+2
Weren't thinking... Bravo is a trash goalkeeper, they would be better off with Mignolet.
+1
No, Bravo was class at Barca but his gotten so bad, I don't know what happened.
+1
bc in barca, he didn't have to do any goalkeeping. they have better defenders and have possession like 90% of the time
God damn man, I come home from work and check football results. This one shocked the f**k out of me. What happened
+1
Probably the worst piece of business by Pep ship out Hart for joker Bravo..
+2
I don't think why he needed to send put Hart? Wouldn't it make more sense to have both of them compete for the spot?
To be honest no one could have known that Bravo would suddenly turn sh*t. He played well before the transfer. But Pep should have at least given Hart a chance though.
I think Hart left immediately when Pep revealed his plans for a new Gk
He is 29, been a long time at City #1 and also England #1, he wouldn't want to risk his career over doubts whether he would play for club or not
Smart by hart, not so much Pep
+1
SanchezAlexis not really. Pep had already started Caballero ahead of Joe

Pep followed his philosophy, now he has to take it on the chin.
Well, my philosophy is you don't change what already works fine.

It was also a sneaky piece of business. Hart didn't have the time to find a competitive club...one of our rivals for instance
+3
Selling Hart was one of those stupid moves that are club is prone to making. Over the years, we've seen dumb decisions take place. Just like when we sold Nastasic for no reason, or shipped out De Jong and Barry, for the likes of Javi Garcia. Due to the player turnover, Milner left because he didn't believe City would give him much now and near future. I believe he left because City didn't offer him a deal early but the rest of the big boys got new deals well before him. One of the reason why he left. I don't think he believe the club valued him.
Out with the old and in with the new...time to get rid of this aging squad and replace it with some youth from our system and a few more world class players. So many ups and downs this season, we need to play with heart and not greed.
+1
Did you just call Claudio Bravo 'greed'? :P
+4
@Jeroen more like piss poor. Nope I'm not one of those fans yelling "bring Hart back"...haha
Just realized we have Spurs next weekend:(
I think if City beats a team then they must be really poor play, Pep could never beat Pochettino.. so its another embarrassment..
+1
in epl u need to have offense and defense, city defense is way too weak imo. get hart back
+1
Hart is far more valuable to City's history than Guardiola could ever be.
We dominated the game but like usual the other team needs like 3 lucky breaks and theyll get a goal. Bravo has been an utter failure. My only issue with Pep is getting rid of one of the best goalies in the league and replacing him with a spastic monkey.
+1
We need another DM, someone that can protect that back-line. At least with Fernandinho, the team had protection but its open season now. I mean we can't even rely on the keeper to make decent saves at the this point.
Why not start Aleix garcia? Hes good and screw Zaba
sounds like arsenal.

Koeman owns wenger. not as many games vs pep but fair to say koeman is doing pretty good so far in the contest?
Pep might finish worse than any of the managers we have had since the takeover.
+1
Not sure words can describe how s**t we were today. It was just embarrassing. We looked lost and couldn't even match Everton's fight. For all that possession, we got nothing to show for.
+1
Starting to miss my old team, Tevez, Milner, De Jong, Hart, barry, Kompany, Mancini, even the odd misfit Balotelli, We weren't the best but our fight was real, we need some heart and grit in our team and good management or we will be just like a feather in the wind being blown about here and there and not really going anywhere.
+2
Selling Milner and Hart were huge mistakes indeed. I have to say I didn't understand Pep not giving Hart a fair chance. Sure, he's not the sort of goalkeeper to play the way Pep wants, but he's been a key City player for so long he deserved more. On top of that, I think Hart was vital for the dressing room atmosphere and fighting spirit.
+5
Exactly, Pep needs to shape up, he's been saying the same thing about the teams we have lost to how we have the posseion and they get one chance and they take it but he has done nothing to counter the problem, just having possesion won't solve everything.
Milner is such a dedicated player, such a shame to get rid of him. Hart being the influence in the dressing room was the reason for getting rid of him. I think he is the influence they used to get rid of Mancini
Maybe we had too many opinionated players in that time, but at least they were strong characters, leading by example. This team now seriously lacks leadership!
All those guys that SilvaMaestro just named, I would take them back in a heart beat. Why? Because those guys despite some of their issues, we played like a team with them around. It wasn't always perfect and we did have issues but we played like we gave a f**k!
pep said he wanted a keeper that is good on the ball and can pass. but i guess he didnt realize that here in the premier league, your goalkeepers actually have to be able to goalkeep
