they let johnstones play a goalkeeper..great move jose..by the way where is zlatan?we want zlatan..we want zlatan
+2
LOL at John Stones.
Zlatan is too cool to play in China according to Mou's interview yesterday :P
Zlatan has not joined the team yet
His still vacationing. Although they are building a mean team, Baily in defense, Pogba in MF and Zlatan up top, Miki on the wing, Depay looking to redeem himself, Martial and Rashford. Not to mention Shaw has returned for them, he was so important for them before he got injured. They really have something going.
Pogba isn't confirmed, I'd be wary ;) However likely it seems atm
^ With the way the negotiations are being dragged on that is a decent chance it won't go though at all.

32 mill is alot, legit?
They always hype these Brazilian talents, I've never seen him play and I don't believe this kid is even coming to us. Its either Real or Barca signing him, or else he'll wait it out until they sign him.
After City experienced Robinho, you would think that Brazilians are a no go lol
he's obviously talented, a lot of clubs were interested.
@Xgooner - Fernandinho is one of the best players we've signed. Brazilians are not a no go. Robinho was obviously a twat lol what a collossal waste of money he was. I think we payed a million dollar for every stepover he did
BlueMoon Church, home of the two Jesuses.
Robinho was so long back, he was part of the "galactico" squad though no galactico himself that association with Zidane and co simply got to his head way too much
Maffeo is quick as hell, Angelino should be in the first team. Not sure what the system pep was playing at. Seems like we had a back 2 at some point. I missed the first hour of the game but from what I saw, we still need plently of work.
Don't think a lot can be extrapolated from the game as both teams were experimental at best.
Can somebody explain the change in the badge? Is it temporary? I know its paying tribute to.the old badges of the club but what was the reason to change it? PR stunt?
Secret hypnotizing powers if you stare at it too long

anybody in the states know a way to watch our friendly?

thanks!
boro got negredo..i'm pretty sure he's gonna tear a lot of defences in pl..good luck to him
So arsenal are after denayer. Serves us right. If we don't promote him this year we lose him for good. He should be perfect to cover at RB and CB
Would he be willing to play second fiddle to all your defensive players? I think he'd like his chances of starting at Arsenal better to be honest
He certainly is not ready for the CB role this season but I was hoping Pep brought him in to the RB position but with Zaba back, that sealed the nail in the coffin. Not to mention their are no signs that Sanga is leaving and now were being linked with Bellerin.

Just like Denis, his going to leave and become a beast elsewhere. I don't blame the kid, he stayed patient, signed a new deal went on loan, earned a spot on the Euro team, only to come back to City and find himself in the same position he was last summer.
So rumors are Koeman wants to meet City about the Stones deal but he wants Bony to come to Everton. Awesome, hope it happens.

With Benatia at Juve, Juve are saying their ready to see Bonuuci leave but it will come down to him.
Bony + lukaku = lamp posts
+1
We should give Bony away for free.
+2
^Lolz

I'm sure the Stones deal will happen but their might be a slight possibility Juve could sell Bonucci. With Benatia just joining them and the pressure to push Rugani who's the next big CB for Italy, Juve could sell him. If that happens, that could be the end of Kompany time at City.
20 July: Bayern Munich (Allianz Arena, Munich)

25 July: Manchester United (ICC, Bird's Nest, Beijing)

28 July: Borussia Dortmund (ICC, Shenzhen)

7 August: Arsenal (Ullevi Stadium, Gothenburg)

Damn thats like a February fixture list...

Pep isn't messing about, he wants to see who he can rely on to make the XI and who isn't good enough to make the cut. Either way, as a fan, its going to be really fun.
Remember when Jordan Ibe was going to replace Sterling at Liverpool??
LOL
+2
sad thing i see some lp fans happy he leaving.
How did they sell him for 15mil?????????????????????
Lol end of the day we got good money for both sterling and Ibe who both failed for the same reasons imo. Sterling not as much, I think he lost his head a bit later in age

it's true we did think he was going to be as good if not better becouse of his physical attributes. His bigger, more imposing generally etc but his Damn ego let him down. He reached a point and he just stopped giving a crap. He needed to stay grounded and improve his game. But signs of no motivation crept in very early into last season and you can see he didn't care very quickly.

Sterling and Ibe are both complete idiots, both thought they made it too early into their careers. I include sterling becouse he engineered a move out of liverpool, even though without liverpool he would still be in the u21s at any other top four club. We developed him very well but he bit the hand that fed him for so long.

Ibe is the same only he adopted the 'I already made it' attitude from sterling much earlier in his development and it has done him no favors at all.

Also we got 15mill, plus buy back and sell on clause..plus Yeah every liverpool kinda stopped giving a s**t about Ibe for months now.
+2
Lol I still remember Gerrard bigging up ibe in the media like the kid was the next club legend, the next robben/ronaldo in the making. English so quick to hype their youngsters. That and too much money in the game. Players earn too much too soon. Can you believe rashford already signed a 2 million pound deal with Nike? He has been in the first team for less than 5 months !
+1
^ His only 18, damn.
+1
@sif
Money doesn't always ruin someone.. Ronaldo had huge money in his youth slammed a few Ferrari right and left.. Doing rather good at the age of 31.

Rashford got his 2m, no big deal.

I remember Januzaz was supposed to be great as well, according to some man u club legends.. He didn't make much, but I think it is safe to say that we will not be seeing him anytime soon.

I think it is the person and his attitude towards football.
+1
Your only example is an extraordinary player with impeccable work ethic and mentality even as a youth. Most players don't have the kind of hunger ronaldo has to be the best. Most players imo flounder after too much early success before they get into mid 20s and become mature and consistent.
