Everyone is on about the wrong Argentinian :P

Aguero masterclass. Now go qualify. (not saying this b/c i want you guys to have more fixtures, saying it b/c i like seeing English teams get far in the CL)
Edited:
Manchester City will progress to the last 16 if they beat Roma and CSKA fail to defeat Bayern Munich
City can still progress if they secure a score draw and CSKA lose to Bayern
However, if both games end in a draw, then Roma progress

- BBC Sports
Aguero is pure class i don't think i ever cheered for City this much these are the type of matches that turn a season around and see the club going on long run of great results

Kudos to our City u19s for smashing 6 past Bayern Munich - hope to see them in the 1st team in the future. :)

So much quality in our academy. Congrats to them!

Did not see the game. Were we as bad as the Bavarians are saying on their forum? I wouldn't be surprised, but want to know your views before I watch the whole game later.
They were tough no lie and are just on another level, Aguero is a miracle.

We had no Yaya, Silva, Kolarov or Dzeko and I think that was our best CL game this season.
Absolutely not man, yes they had the possession and looked pretty good but certainly no-where as dominant as all these people making it. With all that possession, their 2 goals came from our individual mistakes and they didn't really create any "clear chances" that I remember, except for one that Hart convincingly saved in the 1srt half.

As far as us, it's a typical City way that always has to do it the hard way.
Dzeko would not have helped us in any way for that game. Do not put him in with toure and silva
Let those fools say what they want.. They believe ball possession wins game..Bayern really did nothing with it
+2
Yeah people just want to take the fun out of our win. Its not about possession, its about goals and we scored more.
And just like last season, we ended their unbeaten run! :D
+1
Yeah possession means nothing if you don't win the game, but our game plan got somewhat messed up having a player out for 70min and having to take a defensive mid out, with Hojgberg playing the full 90. What people are trying to say is we still controlled the tempo until lewa came off to rest for the weekend
+2
damn...aguero..
May I ask why you put up a spam link?
First person to do Hatrick against Bayern in 12 Years.

What a legend Aguero!
Jovetic and kun are great when playing together
+1
I love you Kun Agueroooooo
AGUEROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!! I just flew out of my seat. Legend!

A win against Roma might just put us through and knowing Pep, his going to be pissed off he lost and his going to want to win the last game against CSKA. If Bayern beat CSKA and we win against Roma, we will go through! Bring that kind of intensity against Rome, best game of season for us!
+8
really? no offence but you guys were awful... and at home... with a man down they had more possession than you, controlled the game and turned it around with a goal down and a man down in like 20 minutes..... you created no clear chances other than your 2 goals that came from 2 individual mistakes from bayern and the only reason i dont say 3 is because i would expect Aguero to score it had Bantia not fouled him in the box...

Dont wanna bring you down but if you guys wanna continue in the Champions league or at least go somewhere in the competition for the next years to come... then you need to look at this kinda performance as disgusting and not as the best of the season...
+12
You're right DaGaza, but let us enjoy the moment
+1
@DaGaza, that's a BS. They were indeed looking a better team even with 10 but certainly not what you've painted them there.

"they had more possession than you" - Yes, but how many so-called "clear chances" did they create?

"you created no clear chances other than your 2 goals that came from 2 individual mistakes from bayern" - again how many "clear chances" did they create, ah? In fact their 2 goals came from our 2 individual (Hart and Sagna/Hart) mistakes too, but of course you conveniently didn't notice or forgot to mention that LOL...

Your last paragraph - thank you for the advice, we'll be sure to relay that to MP and the players as we all have them in our speed dial.

FYI BBC Match Stats:

City : Bayern
Possession: 44% : 56%
Shots 10 : 7
On target 5 : 4
Corners 6 : 0
Fouls 14 : 15
DeGaza, what game did you watch? Like Footy stated, how many clear chances did Bayern have? Its not like Bayern came at us like open season and took a dozen shots on us, we had a tight defense and they found it tough. Yes, Bayern were 10 men down but its Bayern not some other CL team, so no its not a walk in the park against Bayern even with 10 men down and Aguero was our only striker on the field so we had to count on creating chances or picking up on loose balls and City did do that and we won.

Btw, you haven't seem City past CL matches this season or else you would understand what I mean by best game of the season in CL.
Im just gonna put in my two cent into this. You said this was the best CL match you've had. Can you really be proud of that? letting a 10 man team dominate possession regardless of the chances created if you were watching that macth you saw many time sagna been beaten mangala getting caugh out this was far from the best city can bring specially considering you are the champions of england and can barely hold off a 10 man bayern team.
heres my other point what if bayern hadnt made those mistakes and they wouldve won the game? then this forum would be in a different mood and definitely a different story. Im just saying its a bit far fetched calling this a great game for you guys when actually when you go back and watch it you were pretty average against a 10 men team at home. credit to aguero and lamard who had a great game but the rest of the team didnt know what to do with the pressure bayern was bringing. I was cheering for you guys to beat Bayern but this was very disappointing to watch knowing the quality and the potential city has in store you cant expect the teams to gift you goals again
