Gotta love Fabian Delph. His been steller, especially against Mahrez the other day. Incredible what Pep can do to players at time, he was pretty much a bench warmer on his way out until Pep made him useful but his become far more than make-shift LB, his been one of the best in the PL.
Nobody would of thought, Fabian Delph lol, he wasn't on anyones mind at all, now he's a star player, feel good for the guy.
Really hope Vinnie can stay fit until Stones return.
No kidding. Stones has been such a beast for us this season, don't understand why he was playing in both friendly games in the international fixtures?

Nevertheless, were going to need Kompany for the next couple of games. Honestly, we better get someone else in January if we plan on going all the way with UCl and going for the PL title.
Yup, imagine if Kompany went out now with an injury, Otamendi and Mangala in defense :0 It has a possibility to completely shatter our season, unless we somehow out score our opponents every game lol.
Thing is I'd back to you to outscore anyone at the moment.

Not hoping for any injuries of course, but I think you'd breeze it if the worst happened.
That strike by De Bruyne. Dang
His a man on a mission!
I hope he accomplishes that mission, I want to see him lifting a trophy at the end of the season.
So news is that Aguero fainted during half time of the Nigeria-Argentina friendly and was rushed to the hospital. I hope its nothing serious, after that car accident scare, guy can't catch a break. Pep and the City team need to monitor Aguero closely, shouldn't start against the Foxes this weekend.
No lie. I'd be happy to take Emre Can off Liverpool's hands. We lack a Fernandinho replacement and Yaya is as good as gone next season. Emre is only 23 and could come for free next season. Insane!
+1
Khedira is trying to persuade him to join Juventus though. I don't think he's Pep's type of player though. Pep prefers his players short and quicker on the ball. Emre is tall and slow.
+1
I have to vehemently disagree.......... I dont want anyone midfielder from liverpool. He does not play dinhos position he plays an erratic box to bopx midfielder who lacks bodily control and lacks passing capabilities. If we need another CM it is certainly not someone with Emres abilities.
I can see your point. But Tbf, his only 23 years old. His improved a lot since he first joined, still has a long way to go but his got potential but needs a few of his bad habits kicked out of him. No better person to do that than Pep. Look at Stones, he was so horrible and not many of us wanted him but over time improved so much under Pep and now is our best defender in the team. I know his Juve bound but any DM coming to City under Pep's systeam will struggle early on because the CDM positions that Fernandinho plays demands so much which is why Fernandinho is such an important and favored player by Pep.
+1
There are only a few players that can do what Fernandinho does for Manchester City.
Aguero is said to likely leave us when his current contract runs out and move back to Argentina. His current deal runs out in 2019, I'd hope he changes his mind but I will be so sad to see him go.
Yeah it will be sad, but he has done so much for the club, if that's what he wants we could never deny him that, just wish him the best and forget him, a City legend.
He will be 31 by then anyways so we can let him go. After maybe he has 2 more years in his legs?
31 is not retirement. If his still capable of scoring goals were losing a big asset and 2019 is right around the corner.
I think he is making a sensible decision, he has been playing at the top level since 18 years old. For a striker that's incredible, by 31 he may start feeling that he is losing that extra bit..

The worst thing you can do is do What rooney did and leave the club as a finished player

He will be remembered as a PL legend
+3
Sterling out with a back strain
Delph with a calf injury
Kompany: Set to return on the 18th
Otamendi: Has received 5 yellows and will miss the the game against the Foxes.

Last season they smashed us 4-2 and boy did they expose our defense badly. This is a really important upcoming game after the international games.
Delphi injured again?
^ I love Delph but his made of glass. Big reason why Pep and City want to get Aaron Martin from Espanyol once the transfer market opens. Pep knows he can't rely on Delph long term. Looks like Danilo will play at LB fort he Leicester game.
we need to offload Delph and Kompany either this january or in the summer...we don't need injury prone players on a huge wage bill
Is that a real injury, though? Or is this just precautionary withdrawal from the national team so that he's definitely fit for City?
For Sterling, could probably be precautionary.
Next Topic, lets talk about Mo Salah: Id start off by saying I really enjoy the way he plays, Fast, dynamic, smooth intelligent, very good aquisition by liverpool. However people have been citing his goal tally like its something special. The guy is a talent but hes scorin goals against minnows in the Champions league as well as EPl. in the few liverpool EPL games ive watched hes missed probably 10 one on ones. I mean the guy simply does not finish well and his goals have been against less than average opposition. Its undeniable that hes a very good player but people need to chillout
+2
Liverpool have had a tough going lately, and Salah has been doing really well for them. Its his first season, he needs time but his shown great growth and confidence since his Chelsea days. His finishing is not perfect but his getting better, at least his better than Sterling in front of goal I'd say lol!
For the price they got him for, his return is nothing short of exceptional
He scored a few goals for roma as well last season
I would like to add that I am not a blind city fan riding off into the sunset of a title yet. I appreciate the way were playing as much as everyone. Its beautiful and puts most of the EPL to shame. However, at some point we will lose, nd how we respond to that loss will decide the title. post international break has some tough matches. I really hope for Kompany to come back and a healthy return of all our internationals.
I don't think any City fan is riding off to the sunset with the title. We all know its November but theirs nothing wrong with enjoying the current form the team is playing with. I know we will lose eventually but for now, its a good time to be a City fan. Going forward, Pep will need to strength the team at the back in January. If we can get at least two players for the back, a LB and another CB, then we can go forward not having to worry about people covering at the LB or worse, if both Stones and Otamendi are out injured.
Another thought: WhaT EXACTLY is the point of Xhaka? Is he a defensive midfielder? is he a creative one? a box to box? I reallyt cant tell. Hes got terrible defensive positioning, not good in the tackle, and is way too rash to be classified as a DCM, hes slow, moves the ball slowly and doesnt get forward really at all, he doesnt create really.... I mean i guess he hits a decent pass with time but realistically his abilities seem to be parallel to James McCarthy with a cool name and expensive haircut. He also has a horrible attitude and gets so many stupid yellow cards and barks at the refs all the time as if he has any importance or weight on the field. The fact that he starts further highlights the issues at arsenal.
+1
No player is going to look good in that arsenal team. The club is in downfall and nobody is motivated to do well for that club. When that is the case, no player can look good. Even Alexis looked s**t yesterday because he just didn't care.
I do agree with Hari, when your team is basically playing like badly, its hard to look really good. Xhaka is a quality player but seems like his failed to consistently replicated any of his quality during his time at Mochengladbach or with the national team. His more like deep-lying play-maker kind of like what Xabi Alonso was like, expect he can't defend and his positioning when it comes to defending is horrible and needs to improve. Not to mention how reckless he is when it comes to tackling.
Only good thing about Xhaka is his passing ability has been very useful in breaking down defensive teams, he has excellent long ball distribution. He was brought here to help us dominate the midfield, so far he is failing miserably at that.
He is the only one in our midfield who can keep the ball moving. so thats the point.
hes worse than ramsey.
