Happy Birthday to the best manager in the world, Pep Guardiola!!
Who do you guys think is our player of the year so far? I think B. Silva has been playing on another level this season and is in with a good shout.
Fernandinho's without a Shadow of Doubt.

You had your Slip without him :P
Mendy is back in training :D yayyyyyyyy
I hope he doesn't turn into another Jovetic, a fantastic player but played for a couple games, got injured, came back from injury and did the same thing all over.
Pep saying where considering looking for a potential LB cover. Most likely this window, don't expect any big names but we certainly need a player who is an out and out LB and someone that can compete with Mendy. Mendy walts right into the XI and knows he doesn't have any real competition for his position.
We were rumoured to sign Chillwell from Leicester ... I like the name :D
Other than a LB and Fernandinho's replacement, I think we should target Dybala who could be a long term replacement for Aguero.

Stevie G is leading the Yaya & Kolo Toure song :D

At first I was mad at Yaya with the whole Pep problem he had but then after watching the MNF with Yaya I realized he's still a City legend no matter what and its understandable you are the best player on the team an automatic starter and then Pep comes around and drops you to the bench first then omits you from the Champions League squad completely, obviously there will be emotions.
+1
He is a dick. Using the race card without substance is a really low move. Also he keeps praising himself which makes me lose all respect. Yaya was a fantastic player but was always about himself. His rant and reaction on not getting African player of the year said a lot. And then he totally disrespects the club and the management after. The truth is that he was not fit to start in peps system. We have him a babysitter in Fernandinho which made him look better than what he was while undermining Fernandinho’s strenghts
Come on Tomikato, I know he was wrong about his rant and the race card but lets forgive him for that and remember him for the 25+ goals he scored the year we won the EPL under Pellegrini, and smashed the total goals scored in a season (156) even Pep's centurion season didnt top the 156 goals. He was also vital under Mancini whenever we would have problems scoring Mancini always moved him more higher up the pitch (which was our key plan B) and he unlocked teams and scored goals which lead to our very first title. After all he did 300+ appearances for this club. There aren't that many players that have 300+ games under their belt in a single EPL club.
Don't forget the birthday cake saga :D
I agree with Tomi. He is a great player with bad attitude. He enjoyed stardom at city and being one of the important players. He doesn't have the right attitude to fight for his spot or face criticism.
NvjFooty you say that because Yaya was a City player...i seen you defend Chelsea players through thick and thin for bad behaviour
Yaya is a legend at City and has helped us create history and we can't take that away from him. I do appreciate all the good times his given us but unfortunately, he does have a bad attitude and was unprofessional in the way he handled himself during the last two seasons at City. He truly just couldn't accept the fact that he was much older player who couldn't handle the demands of Pep system. I wish he didn't do that sh*t because he really made himself look bad. Nevertheless, his still a legend.
+1
Thats the point I was making Moe66 Yaya had an attitude because he came from Barcelona but nobody can take away the LEGENDARY status from him he is still a LEGEND of this club!

When he was at his peak all the clubs in Europe Chelsea United liverpool they all wished they had Yaya and I'm sure had he played for any of those clubs they would protect him regardless of his attitude and regardless of what he said
Hahaha...that's actually pretty hilarious, and it's pretty impressive that Stevie G was able to lead them without a slip:D
@FIS, I don't think its because he came from Barca, its just that at Barca he had an issues with Pep before. At Barca he had to play in CB and CDM due to Iniesta& Xavi and once Busi got promoted, Yaya was replaced. That ended his time at Barca and I do think, Yaya truly loved his time at Barca and didn't want to go but the team was stacked, he had to leave.

Now that he had success at Man City, here comes Pep yet again and ready to replace him once more. Yaya would not have acted this way if it was any other manager but the fact that it was Pep, he felt a certain way about it. I had a feeling Yaya and Pep would come to blows at some point when he was announced as our manager.

@FootballIsCity Yaya is a great player who has helped city win trophies. But IMO to be a club legend, player has to respect the club. Even before Pep arrived, he was whining when he isn't being recognized. This is just my opinion. No doubt he was a great player on the field. But it's his off the field attitude which makes me doubt his legendary status.
@NvjFooty Yaya has a lot of respect for this club he always compliments the chairman and the owner for what they have done for City. His only problem was Pep because before Pep he was an automatic starter and when Pep arrived he found himself on the bench and then completely excluded from the Champions League squad. Any sensible person can understand where he is coming from when he has that attitude, its wrong but its understandable.

He was not the only person that thought he wasn't being recognized, Samir Nasri also said had Yaya been Brazilian or Argentinian he would be named best player in the world and every one would be talking about him.
2-1 win over Liverpool
7-0 win over Rotherham
9-0 win over Burton
3-0 win over Wolves

That's 4 games, 4 wins, 21 goals, and 1 conceded in 2019 so far, let's carry on like this for the rest of the year!!

insane stats

That tackle scared the holy hell out of me. Damn Bernardo escaped a potential leg breaker. Raheem Sterling does not get enough credit, what a top player.

Nevertheless, 3 points! Lets GO!
+1
Couldn't watch the game but just saw the highlights, yeah he was lucky to not get a serious injury. However, glad to see us get 3pts and seeing Jesus on the scoresheet.
Was more worried about gabby hitting his head on the post. Scary stuff that
That was pretty scary.
"Liverpool employed a throw-in coach earlier this season and recently appointed an Olympic gold medalist diving coach to help Salah with the art of diving. 4 penalties in last few weeks - all 4 dives!"

P.S. Salah is quickly becoming a world-class diver, are you watching Barca?:D
+3
I saw yesterday's game. It was foul IMO. I didn't see other penalties.

Quality #bantz
+3
Mate, if you really think yesterday's penalty was a dive you should make an appointment with a proctologist. He might want to check out your head.

Serg edit :chill
+11
Yesterday wasn't a dive, he was constantly nibbling away at Mo while Mo was getting the best of him, should have left him to the other defender in front as Mo had him beat.

You could debate the other pens though.

😂😂😂
+1
Lol yeah he dived before this game once or twice but yestaday was not a dive. Might be wise to watch our Game next time =p may I ask footy do you love liverpool?
Why did you edid my Post? Someone had to call him out on the s**t he writes at some point. And it wasn't that offensive.
Just trying to stop world war three here.. Yeah footy is abit over the top with what he writes (and seems abit in love with liverpool) but I find it entertaining reading all his mad scientific finds. As per site rules you can't go around telling people to stick their head up their arse. This goes to all the liverpool guys who come on here, be respectful its all banter
+3
Thanks Sergio, appreciate it
+1
JUst for the record I did not tell him to stick his head up his arse. I said it is there which means: is oblivious to the truth.

Anyways I get it and will choose other words next time.
+2
It's all cool lol 😂
Hmmm... ok! 👍🏻
Peace! Wish you guys the best against Wolves! NOT
P.S. I will absolutely say this - Footy is secretly in love with Liverpool

Foooty! https://youtu.be/tzvY1OzoDbQ
Holy s**t...do you guys need a tissue, ah? Do you guys have a job other than monitoring other forums and get triggered as soon as someone mentions Liverpool name, dammmn insecurity must be high LOL...

@ Lkerun, tried proctologist but they said that they're overbooked for the next year with all Liverpool fans. :D

@Ehtisham, Annnd, you the"Grown up" here again with your drivel. LOL...SLIP back to your grown up forum and continue spitting your drivel there por favor.

@Honestabe, I thought you were in grading business, what grade would you give yourself for the above "so lazy" posts, a "D" or possibly an "F"ah? lolll...

A good illustrations of Liverpool fans, ashamed of nothing offended by everything :(

P.S. Sergio, cheers man & glad to see you finding it entertaining :D
+3
just trying to help! i guess i've slipped from my usually perfect A game 😢 on the bright side, lessons like these build character!
Seriously Foooty, quality banter. Amazing stuff.
Yep- quality stuff 😂
Aww, that's so cute...thank you guys!!
Tomi, I'm not sure how to contact the active mods these days, so I'm just posting here where you might see this the fastest. Could you please remove the link someone posted on the Chelsea forum? You'll see soon enough what I mean.

I'll ask on the Liverpool forum as well, since there are at least 2 active mods there too.

Have a nice weekend y'all :)

edit: Ninja-mods already solved it in no time!
Thanks for looking out Jeroen!! Sorry I was out but another Mod swatted that
Anyone else tired of seeing Isco being linked to us. Why would we want him when we have Bernardo Silva. For 43mil, this man was a steal!
He was wanted by pellegrino I think, but chose to go real. Scouts probs keeping on eye on him, replacement for silva once he retires?
+1
Gundogan is a similar type player. City don't need Isco
@Sergio, Honestly, I don't see him leaving Madrid and when D. Silva is gone, B. Silva will slide into his position. We still have Gundogan and Foden will most certainly get a lot more game time.

That train has long gone, don't need him.
If City signs Isco, Foden will likely leave. Already your midfield is packed even if David Silva leaves.
