Really want to see this Barker kid get into the first team. Watched the game against Chelsea and his seriously been putting together a consistent amount of good preformances.
Do you guys want Jovetic gone or not?

Imo, no. Although his injury prone. His few cameos, his done pretty well. I remember the Bayern game, although Aguero scored 3 goals, Jovetic set him up fort the last two, intercepting one and flicking the ball to him for the final goal. His been played out of position and I want to see what he can do, when played in the right position. His passes, position and runs are actually really good not to mention he can cause trouble when his right on the 18 yard line. His a MF, why not play him in behind the striker and see what he can do.

We bought him for 22mil and I want to see more. If we sell him to a Serie A team, watch him just go beast mode and us sulking about how we lost him for pennies. Although its hard to imagine the fact that he would want to stay, MP has just shunned him away from the PL and UCL. I just want MP gone. Jovetic is a quality player, I want to see more.
If we get another manager, I also want to see him given another chance but unfortunately he's too injury-prone, like you said. However with Bony signing, I think either him or Dzeko will be gone this summer and between Jovetic and Dzeko, I would rather see Jovetic go as Dzeko gives as something different than Kun and Bony, if employed properly of course, like playing him as target man and Silva as a number 10.
With Klopp not showing interest in English teams and Bayern's owner stating Pep isn't going anywhere, guess that rules both of them out. As for the City job, its now between either keeping MP or bringing in Vieria. I'm all in for bringing Vieria, even if his like the interim manager for the season. We need a fresh of breath air, someone that can see things clearly and has a great player relationship with the squad. Not to mention his insight of our academy will come in handy in adding a few youngsters in the team.

Hoping this may happen, MP is done and the players have just stopped fighting for him.
We should go all out for Klopp and forget about Pep. Klopp has everything we're looking in a manager, personality, good track record with youth players, and winning titles. Appointing Vieira as the head coach is too risky as we're as a Club at the point that we cannot just experiment with managers. Plus I like Vieira and would hate to see fans turning against him when things don't work out or go south.
Athletico Madrid

De gea- Courtois - Oblak
Torres - aguero -Forlan- Falco- Costa -villa-Griezmann/mandzukic

they really do know how to replace players
When Aguero left, I was like who are they going to bring in? than Falcao left and I was like don't think Costa will be able to carry the teams attack like Falcao, than he proved me wrong and out the door he went and I was like Mandzukic will struggle in la liga but hell no he didn't it. Griezmann is top quailty as well, his got great finishing ability. I gotta give credit to their director and scouts, they sure know how to bring in quality players and money is spend well without a loss.

Don't forget that they got quality youngsters like Gimenez, Saul Niguez and on loan at Porto star Oliver Torres and Angel Correa. I envy them, they not only put together a good team but loaning out their youngsters with the promise of giving them first team opportunities in the future. Now that Simone is in charge of transfers, things will only get better for them.

Karim Rekik....Karim Rekiki!
that was hard to watch. i caught secondhand embarrassment
The fans are like, wtf is going on?
Kondogbia, Ward-prowse, Obiang, Kovacic. All CMs of quality who seem to be too cheap or not famous enough for us to buy.
That fool of a director Tixi seems only interested in 40 mil and above transfers like Pogba and barkley. I can't understand this thought process or rational. This is why I believe we must get a new manager for next season, if not clop then Viera.
(gradual expected to see out contract)
Barkley is no damn CM, his more attack minded and plays better as an attacking player. It would be insane to sign him, not worth the money and whatever fee is on him, add 20mil to it because his English.

If I was the manger at City, I would sell Yaya if a team comes calling for him for the right price, we would cut our wage bill by a lot if we sold him along with Nasri. I would sign to replace Lampard&Yaya, Kovcic or Ward-Prowse, an attack minded CMs and Obiang or Kondogbia, defensive minded CMs.

@Khessler, I agree. Our foolish director only goes after 40mil or above players. Their are so many cheap players to sign that are have bags of quality.
I don't want to get rid of Yaya, he is being made to play a role he is not comfortable with and whats the point in beating him up for that, he is so frustrated but can you blame him. It was always a pleasure to watch Silva and Yaya. Whereas I think Kompany ran out of gas, he is injured most of the time if not he has red cards.
I cannot understand the point in buying more players, when not a single player we bought during MPs time performed under him. What guarantee is there that the new ones will be any different. The only players performing till today are the ones we bought before MPs or tixi or whoever or whatever the new management is. Everyone is in for just money only, no one has the passion that we must win for MCFC.
+1
^Its hard to sell Yaya but if a team like Inter come in and offer 30mil or some insane amount, would you refuse? I don't blame Yaya for anything but his not really a CM and MP believes CM is his best position, I'd rather have him in the free role behind the striker instead. Just as much as their are pros to keeping Yaya, their are also cons to keeping Yaya.

The reason why we want younger players is because their out to prove themselves not only in the PL but in UCL as well. Many teams field youngsters for that reason, our player have been together for 4 years and have gotten way too complacent and relaxed. We need to inject some new blood into our aging team.

On the other-hand, all these could be solved if we sacked MP. Rustic as a point, MP doesn't motivate and doesn't have any of his signing preforming for him. We need a motivator badly because our team plays with no passion.
Let us win the next game! These days I am only looking at one game at a time. Want to finish third.

This week against Villa can be tricky.
Villa have momentum, but if we don't win this one we simply don't deserve the top 3

What is Pellegrini still doing at the club. Villa changed manager and got confidence back into the team. Is changing manager only effective for relegation teams?
^ Villa are coming to City with momentum but we need to control possession and bury our chances if we have any chances of wining. We do get sloppy and give teams goalscoring chances, which is my biggest fear now.

With MP managerial status, I think its City hierarchy that trust him and have given him time. If he was going to be sacked it would have been after the Utd game but he wasn't, I think they promised him to play out his contract which expires next summer.

The problem is, MP fails to motivate our players and he can't seem to effiently fix the teams problems. If he stays I want to see what his going to do in the summer. I don't have high hopes for MP now, but I'm praying he screws his head back together.
Here are the players I want out & players id like to see come in for next season!

OUT: Nasri, Yaya, Navas, Fernando

IN: Rues/Candreva, Kondogbia, Miranda/Hummels

I'd love to see next seasons formation look like this:

--------------Hart------------
Zaba---Komp---Miranda--Clichy
-----Fernandinho---Kondog-----
---------------Silva---------------
----Rues----Dzeko-----Aguero-

Manager: J. Klopp!
You should keep Fernando another season also extend Milners contract.

Candreva and Reus are quality another option is De Bruyne. Miranda is not a great center back he's only good cause he has Godin next to him. Hummels is good but a Godin is a better option IMO. Schneiderlin or Matuidi instead of Kondogbia. You also need a new LB someone like Rodriguez, Baba, Alex Sandro

Hart
Zaba Kompany Godin Rodriguez
Scheinderlin Fernindinho
De Bruyne Silva Milner
Aguero

The media continuously links us with Guardiola but that is not something I want. I think he is an egomaniac who has coached two of the best teams in the world and thats it, nothing else to show except that he has a bad temperament. I can't understand why clop is not being sought.
Actually Guardiola would be a perfect manager. Although his attitude is off at times, his a passionate manager on the field and urges his players to give everything they have. Not to mention if a player is not playing well, Pep doesn't hold back, he'll give certain players the harsh truth and the reality check they need. If they don't play well, he'll bench them and not to mention he promotes youth players and gives them chances. If you've seen Pep with Bayern in training videos, you'll see the dude doesn't joke around and takes training really seriously, always yelling out instructions and individually giving players advice. If anything our players need a guy like Pep. If he was at City, our players would play like their positions were on the line every single week.

Many also say that Pepe landed with two amazing teams. Sure Bayern was great when he got them but when he took the reins at Barca, it was a different story. Barca finished 3rd the prior season and were struggling. He made a bold moves to sell Ronaldinho, Deco, Zambortta etc and brought in guys like Pique and Dani Alves and promoted youth players like Busquets and Pedro who are now some of the best players in their positions. His first season they won la liga, copa del rey and UCL and were known as one of the best teams in history. After that, Barca ruled everything, they were amazing during his spell with the club that he really build to being one of the best.

I don't care about Guardiola's attitude, if he comes to City, expectations are going to be very high and if anyone can help us in UCL, its gotta be Guardiola. I rate him above Klopp and City is a mess that needs a new philosophy.
I just think we could use a northern european's tactics and connections. For instance with Klopp our recruitment of germany's impressive youth players would be very plausible.
I do agree Klopp has brought up some young talented from Dortmund and turned them into star players, he emphasis on youth players and could very well do the same for our youngsters like Pozo, Lopes, Iheanacho, Zuculini, Angelino, Denayer, Rekik etc.
So if MP does stay, are we going to see much change in the summer? I know we all want specific types of players but with MP tactics and favoritism on specific players, its worry because I don't want a repeat of this season.

For me the problem is the CM and the back-line. We need a quality CM like Pjanic, Gundogan or Andre Gomes. Players who are good with the ball and provide quality service, with a energy to drop back and defend .I don't want to see Yaya go but he can't start every game. He needs someone to rotate with. We need LB, AM and possibly a center-back.

I just feel like MP is going to trust the older players once again and we might have another season of lack-luster football.
If he stays i bet change is minimal but again I really hope he leaves.
Remind me what the budget is under FFP rules. Prob is players go on a free or for peanuts, and this year Milner goes free. Maybe Nasri or Dzeko can bring some income
If we can sell off Nasri and Dzeko to make some money and promote players like Pozo and Marco Lopes than we won't need to spend any money on replacements. Although we do need another AM like De Bruyne and a CM like Gundogan or Pjanic and possibly a FB.

Its just so f*****g ridiculous, the amount of youth quality we possess and we won't use them. Denis Suarez should have been promote earlier or else maybe he wouldn't have left. Look at him now starting for Sevilla.
