Rekik is going to Marseille
Looks like we're again hammered by UEFA

Man City are ineligible for new relaxed UEFA rules - and are waiting to hear about possible further restrictions following last season's punishment

Hahaha very convenient. We will drag their asses into court. Ridiculous ruling
Have anyone heard/read any rumors about MP's main man Navas going to some other clubs ? Why any clubs don't want to buy him ?
You guys are close to signing Fabinho
How good is he? We're linked with Layvin Kurzawa in the past, we need left back more than right.
Fabinho is a beast he can play RB/DM
Any links? From what I've seen from Fabinho his a really good player, tank and was very crucial for AS Monaco's UCL campaign, their defensive was a rock. He would be a great signing for us. We really need a RB.
His teammates Layvin Kurzawa(left back) was linked with us in the Jan transfer window. I just read a rumor Monaco are asking Spurs to double Spurs's 16M valuation for him.
Not worth it, the kid Layvin was pulling off some disrespectful s**t against a match with Sweden's U21. He was showboating about scoring a single goal in an sportsmanship like way, although he did get owned by Sweden afterwards. Although that alone has made me lose interest in this kid.
both are great talents, worth the buy. Layvin Kurzawa is a bit of a loose fit hue hue hue
Would much rather prefer Willems from PSV or Baba Rahman from Augsburg for a LB.
So If correct, we need 8 homegrown players. We have Hart, Wright and Clichy from the first team.

We can include: Lopes, Iheanacho, Denayer, Barker and Pozo. That would make it 8 homegrown players.

I want to end these Sterling and Wilshere bullshit that we put ourselves in. For the love of god, have some faith and pride in your own academy and give these boys a chance! What kind of message does this football club send to our academy prospects when we need to go out and sign other English/homegrown players. They build a 200mil for what? Might as well have donated all that to charity if were never going to see any of them get promoted.
Moe, the rule is clubs can't name more than 25(at most 17 non home grown) players over the age of 21.

It's not mandatory we need to submit 25 man squad. The under 21 players(home or non home grown) are not required to submit in the squad list.

So based on our current squad we just submit 20 players(17 non home grown plus Hart, Wright, Clichy). All others EDS players can play anytime when required.

But FA chairman is purposing 'Kane' rule from 2016 and most of the people including Tony Pulis, Alan Padrew are opposing it, so if they pass and implement that rule then most of the clubs with current squad will have to work hard to get required home grown quota.

City have already sold a record 39,000 season tickets.
Season ticket sales have gone brilliantly and we are likely to have a 50,000-plus average crowd for the first time in our history

^ The club has done a lot for the fans, they need to show up!
Anybody's watching women's world cup quarter final game between England and Canada ? Our right back Lucy Bronze scored a great goal for England with looping header.
Haven't been watching to much, I've only seen games that the US team have played in.
Semi-final
Tuesday: US-Germany
Wednesday: England-Japan
Lucy Bronze looks more skillful than both Zabaleta and Sagna.
^Sign her up!
Kompany is already back to club, 3 weeks a head of his teammates and has started fitness training. Hopefully he will perform better next season.
+1
His aware of how bad his form was last season, at least his taking the initiative to acknowledge that and try to start this upcoming season in good form. He might have lost his form but his a great example of a model captain and professional.
Kompany last season was hard to watch. If Kompany/Toure/Nasri step it up next season you guys should do better.
Where are Txiki Begiristain and Ferran Soriano ? Are we going to sign/sell any players in this transfer window? I know transfer window hasn't been opened yet but other clubs are already announcing few signings particularly Liverpool.
+1
Last I heard both Txiki and MP were at the Copa America watching Chile. Its kind of putting me on edge a bit, seeing other PL teams strengthening their sides, especially Utd but it's all about timing and tbh, the transfer window hasn't opened yet. My biggest worry is the FB positions and the lack of any attention on them. Zabaleta is going to be burned out from the Copa America, is Sagna solid enough to start considering we face Chelsea in the 18th of August?
Why they needed to go to watch Copa America, our main targets are not playing in Copa, wth they're doing in Chile?
Heard rumors about potienally signing Internacional MF and Chilean international Charles Aranguiz. His actually caught my eye as well, what a beast CM for Chile along with Diaz, they literally control the tempo of the game. He was great in the World Cup and was about to move to Arsenal put I guess it never happened. His got that Aleix Sanchez work rate of playing all over the pitch, his really more of a B2B MF capable of both dropping back to defend and even setting up attacks and linking up with the attacking players. Imo, his a lot better with the ball going forward then Fernandinho. I can see him play alongside Fernando or Fernandinho and push Yaya up top to the AM position so Yaya won't be bothered with dropping back. Although I'm hearing rumors about Pogba, so I guess if we don't sign Pogba that could be our plan B.
They could have simply sent scouts plus MP might have been in his country(Chile) so he could scouts any players playing Copa America.
Just found Txiki is in vacation

Manchester City will kick off their summer spending spree this week — once Txiki Begiristain gets back from holiday.

Finally, we need to get some deals done for the sanity of the fans.
It is impossible to get tired of 1-6 highlights
Some things are uplifting, like pizza or ice-cream, this one tops them all by a mile
