What a goal by George Evans? Youngsters were putting a lot of effort.
Looked like there were a few David Silva's out there...small dark haired light-footed. Great goal though.
+1
Pozo looked promising on left wing.
Guys like Pozo and Lopes who are just technically very good with the ball should be given a first team chance. Iheanacho shows confidence and maturity with his well timed runs and finishing but needs to get better with his first touch. Barker is like a mini-Milner, gives it his 100% all the time in every game. These youngsters I'd like to see incorporated with the first team next season.
http://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/man-city-eds-starlet-iheanacho-9335953

This better be true. Saw him score a brilliant goal against Derby County's U21 team. His first touch needs to improve but his goalscoring ability and confidence to take players on 1v1 with skill and speed is brilliant for an 18 year old.
Brace yourselves for a Yaya saga
MP is saying Yaya won't leave. Tbh, why would Yaya leave? If he was to go to any other team he would most likely take a wage cut to play for them unless its a rich club. He already has a big name here, we just need to another CM that he can complete with and rotate Yaya with. Someone who;s got a great passing ability, link up play, dribble and goals from distance. Sort of creative MF that can play the CM role.

His had a poor season yes, but take into factor his played in the WC and an AFCON with not much rest in between. I hope a long summer break will do him some good because we need a fresh Yaya Toure.
I hope Yaya stays but I'm confused by the fact he looked all set for an Inter transfer, then it didn't happen. Now, all of a sudden, he's happy (?), won't leave, or is it the club forcing him to stay and we know how it ended with Tevez... I just think it's all about money, he doesn't give a damn about City
^ A bit of both I think. He wanted to go, after the season we've had and the season his had, he might have wanted to leave because of it but MP keeping his job might have made him stay. If MP was sacked he would have left out the door. On the other-hand I don't want him to go, after what happened with Tevez, we might need him along the lines for experience and goals. Now asa manger MP has to pick the battles for Yaya, place him in the best position to utilize his talent but MP has been a complete idiot all season. I'm just pissed MP kept his job.
Guys - does anyone know if we have a broadcast for the Wednesday and Thursday games for the US tour? And how to see it?
It is available on ESPN2 at 7pm EST today
A few signing to really elevate us next season.
Aymeric Laporte CB from Bilbao or Samuel Untitti CB from Lyon
Ricardo Rodriguez LB from Wolfsburg or Jose Luis Gaya LB from Valencia
Antione Griezman forward from Atletico or Lazcazette forward from Lyon
Geoffrey Kondogbia CM FROM Monaco Or Kovacic CM from Inter

I think if we sign four of these player one at each position we will have all we need as well as promoting a youngster such as Barker, or Lopez or Iheanacho
No new CBs imo. Honestly players are costly nowadays. We spend 40mil on Mangala and I want to give him next season to preform and showcase his ability. We know his capable of it, his got the physical build to succeed in the PL, he just needs to be able to calm down and read the game better. If Rekik can come in along with Demichelis I think were going to be fine. Although our mentality needs to change, Kompany better get his s**t together to lead the line next season. Spending on another 30-40mil worth player, isn't going to solve anything.

As for FBs. I agree, we need at least 2 new FBs. A RB to not only rotate but challenge Zabaleta and a LB that can play with Clichy. Umiti won't be a bad opition considering his versatility but I hear Augsburg LB and Bundesliga sensation Baba Rahman is a player we are after, I heard a 6mil deal but nothing confirmed.

As for MF, Kondogbia can play as a DM or CM tbh. His got great dribbling, passing and tackling. He would provide some competition for Yaya, his not as influential like yaya is but is tank in MF. My problem with him is, his a bit of a hot-head at times and needs to keep his emotions in check. Apart from that his a beast to have. If Jovetic leaves, I think Roberto Firmino might be the guy to go for, scores goals, gets plenty of assists, dribbling, great link-up play between him Silva and Augero.

If Jovetic leaves and Dzkeo is sold than yeah we need another striker. Don't know how but I want to see an EDS player like Pozo or Iheanacho in the mix. Bring Lopes to play outwide if Milner leaves and send Barker on loan to the Championship to see what he can do.
http://www.empireofthekop.com/2015/05/23/stevan-jovetics-agent-confirms-liverpool-target-is-likely-to-move-this-summer/

Seems like Jovetic is likely heading out the door.
Hoping Milner signs a new deal.

Carlo is sacked by real , although he have already announced that he will take an year off for a back surgery but I hope you management can convince him to join city .

Milan president is already in Madrid to do the same .
If he couldn't win the league with the most expensive front line ever then he won't be able to do anything with city. I don't want him, he's another pellegrini.
+1
you are a disgrace, you do realize carlo won the double in his first season with chelsea? league title and FA cup iirc. also, he won the CL in his first season with real madrid, something they were chasing for over a decade. show some respect. the man has won the CL 3 times as a coach, something no other active coach can claim at the moment. he's tied with bob paisley for the record of 3 CL titles in european history. in fact, in england, only liverpool as a club has more CL than ancelotti. show some respect man.

ps barca front line cost 150 million pound + messi, you act like barca discovering messi vs ronaldo being bought means they get a pass. suarez + neymar cost more than benzema + bale.
+2
Khessler, Ancelotti is probably the best manager out there atm. His got European success which is something where chasing, his been a successful manger both in England, Italy and Spain. I think he would make a great manager and the only likely manager to get approached by our managment. I know you want guys like Klopp, De Boer or Vieria but they aren't going to get hired, our management want to win trophies.

Right now were in the process of needing someone to fix our team up a bit. We need an injection of new blood to balance our team and Ancelotti will have the spending and the brains to bring in some good players.

With Real, in his defense he was a bit stubborn with the line ups but he faced competition from Valencia and Atletico Madrid who took points and loads of injuries to his Madrid side. Also, he lost the title run on 2 points to probably the best attacking unit in the world. If Bale had a better season, maybe they would have taken it. Imo, he never deserved the sack.

Right now, City need to jump at the chance to sign him. Hopefully he can promote Vieria as assistant manager and things could look bright for us.
Never mind, looks like it been confirmed that MP is here for another season. His with our team for our Toronto and Houston games to end the season.

@SoccerisFootball... You spend much too much time on our page. I don't care what he did last year. I care what he did this year which was poor. Focus on your own manager issues. Either way Ancelotti confirmed he's taking a year off and Pelle is seeing out his contract.

edit, you know what? it's not even worth it. carry on.

You're opinion on this subject was not asked for so yes, it's not worth it.
Guys - play nice. No need to call each other names.

Each person here is allowed to provide their views. Others may refute respectfully with an explanation. Absolutely no need to fight here.
We won both the golden boots and golden glove awards, and yet we lose the title with such margin....hmmm....interesting
Why is that surprising. We were utter BS in multiple departments this year. Golden boot and Golden Glove don't mean much IMHO.

If at all, the Golden boot is testimony that we are too dependent on one striker inspite of having a quartet at our disposal. Pretty sad.
Hart, Aguero and Silva were caring this team all season. Hart and Aguero both won us important games, along with Silva stringing some magic. The rest were s**t!

So much respect to your club for giving Lampsie the respect he deserves. Class. Hopefully you can better understand why we've loved him so dearly over the last 14 years.
+2
Lampard is a class act. Loved every minute he played for City this term.

The finish for his goal today is testimony to how good he is, even at this stage in his career. I am actually quite sad he is leaving the league. He can still make a big difference in many of the big teams here.

We love him so much after one season I can only imagine how much you love him for the 13 or 14 you got from him.
+1
Lampard is one of those players that you can never hate because his such a humble professional and a class act of person in general. Whenever I did see him on the Inside City vids, he always seems happy about just being here and playing for City, I would really have kept him for another year but it is what it is. Can't wait to see his NYCFC come to Seattle.
