Any updates on Yaya's injury?
looks like its a 2 week injury
If Chelsea park the bus in Anfield they will lose the game, that's my opinion
+1
i hope so. For the title if it is not us, it better be you.
Time for a rhyme.

Don't stress redinheart, I have a feeling that this season's trophy will have ribbons of blue.
It will either be aqua blue or red.
^*skyblue
They will need a train this time, a bus aint big enough for this job.
Liverpool should be the ones parking the bus, they only need one point
next season is ours
This season could also be ours. Why have people give up? All they have to do is slip up once and at the very least get one draw in their next 4 games and we have to win our last 6 games, all of them. We can do that, take it from game to game. Apart from Everton who we can beat we are not facing another title threatening side. Lets get some positive attitude going!
Come on Moe.. no one want to give up, but our team is so unpredictable, No one can say with confidence that we will win all even though we can and we are capable ..!
+1
I agree with moe.. You're insisting that Liverpool can go 14 games WON in a row to win the title with the four remaining games among relegation threatened teams and one huge match against Chelsea who also have the title to fight for. Possible that they win them all but in my opinion it's a huge ask! In the second half we proved to the rest of the league Liverpool are beatable! Getting a win against Chelsea I find to be a huge ask especially.

Liverpool are the newly precious darlings of English football and the media is sensationalizing it massively. Apparently the only people who don't want Pool to win are City, Chelsea, and United fans - All effectively villains in contrast. A referee like clattenburg wouldn't have dared to award a penalty to City in anfield which would dually smash the scousers dream and turn that place upside down.

Expect officiating to wane definitively in liverpools favor for the remaining games, Suarez diving+ playing for the foul +chipping handballs , skirtel unshirting players on every opposing corner with no concern for punishment, and at least three more Steven Gerard PKs. In order for Liverpool to LOSE it's also going to have to be a Huge Ask for the opposing team. (11 v 12) they are going to have to be shut out, I wouldn't put my money on them drawing any of the four remaining games.

Very bad taste in my mouth for the premiere league after this match it feels like forces are at play other than the quality of their team that will crutch them to the title. The better team lost yesterday and I truly believe Manchester City made a meal out of this particular fixture in our previous shortcomings earlier in the season. We should have been able to afford to lose a game against a huge opponent+ huge occasion but we lost games at villa, sunderland, and drew with Norwich which was unnacceptable. I wouldn't say 'next year' as the premiership I'm expecting to be even more difficult to win next year. The time to win it is NOW!

"Liverpool are the newly precious darlings of English football and the media is sensationalizing it massively" - couldn't have said it better.

By the way after what City and its supporters showing their support in honoring the 96 fans who lost their lives at Hillsborough, here is how the Skankfield supporters show their gratitude:

I feel you should have gotten at least a draw yesterday but you could say we should have atleast got a draw at ethiad. may be these things even out over the season.

Regarding the booing that was seen yesterday. it was not a sign of disrespect for city fans or players, but it was done to disrupt your play and gain home advantage. you could notice that people clapped when yaya was taken off.

may be media likes us. its only fair since we have lot of english players who are doing well which is a good thing for england.

i really respect your players, manager and fans. if it is not us for the title i would like for city to win it.

cant say good luck for obvious reasons.

I feel so sorry for Kompany right now. He is one of my favorite players in the world. I wish it wasn't his mistake that gave us the goal. He is always so calm and composed. He is always bailing out other players when they make a mistake. I suppose we are all human. GG BTW!
+1
Legit, anyone but Kompany. Could see how gutted he was. But I'm gonna steal an all too well remembered quote..

Actually the first goal also a mistake by Kompany...

I must say Hart was good esp saving that fantastic Gerard header, he so free no one covered him.. I think Demichelis was good too.

I couldn't stop smiling when Garcia came in and got that yellow without even touching the ball once.. lol!!
@Rustic, even 2nd goal was his mistake. He was marking Skirtel and Kompany lost him. For first goal our midfielders(Toure, Ferna, Navas) were watching goal scorer running towards box, Kompany did not even notice, Hart came out of his line, so it's combined mistake. If Kompany noticed that guy a little earlier he could have blocked ball reaching to him.
I would say it was clichy. He is WEAK. No reason should clichy be watching near post like that.
1st goal was Hart's fault. There was no need to come out. On top of that the other 2 players let Suarez shrug them of to easily.

2nd goal can't really blame Kompany because Skrtel knew where the ball was coming before it came. Hard to challenge a header when your opponent knows where the ball is coming and you don't.
I was watching the analysis on BEin Sport, and like you said @MCB, it was Kompany marking Skertel and let him run in front.

and Skertel handfisted a ball in view of ref, with a bandaged hand, which could have been easily spotted.

Suarez dived without touching Demichelis which should have been his second yellow..

1st goal Kompany was blockin Hart's view.. but from both of them we expect more.

On the whole I think Ref was lenient towards Liverpool b'coz of the DAY, and red carding Suarez on that day is a big big action, which he didn't make.. for whatever reason.

We shouldn't be making excuses, we should have prepared ourselves better, like I said before, this season, we didn't beat all big teams. Yes we changed our style to more attacking game, but we didn't study our opponents properly.

Sad part is we looked totally flustered in the first 25 minutes, nothing at all like how anybody will expect City to play..

+1
So you gain back Aguero and lose Yaya Toure?! Not sure if that's a tradeoff most would take but football sucks like that sometimes.

Good fightback nonetheless. Game of inches....Silva scores on that Aguero pass and it's a whole different game.
Had my heart in my mouth when that was happening. God damn it why couldn't he have longer legs :(
Pellegrini: First 25 minutes cost us, didn't he know or anyone did not tell him Liverpool are doing all damage this season within half an hour or in the first half of the game. Somebody should have told him if we stop them in first half it would be easier to win against Liverpool.

We're sleeping till they scored first goal. Why don't we keep players on the post for opposition corners, we could have avoided that second goal, if we did that.
If it was Demichelis or Lescott who have made mistakes then they would be getting all crap from us but Kompany ..

He cost us point in AV away and today. He needs to talk less and work hard. It is annoying nowadays some of our players talk to much like Utd players used to do till last year.
+1
Come on man it was one mistake, the guy is only human, it's not like he make mistakes regularly, how many times have he came through for us with brilliant performances, I still remember his 1-0 contribution that gave us a win over united which was crucial for us winning the league title that season. Give him a break.

I only give stick to players who constantly make mistakes because you cannot be making silly mistakes time and time again in such high profile games.
+3
Is it such a bad thing if Kompany talks?
He's the captain, it's just normal he represents the club and always does with class and many can envy his command of English and what he says.

Saw him on MOTD last week and just thought: what a guy!
Also he just went that one time and once when we won the title, it's not like he pundits on the program
As for Twitter, again, he's not one of those gobshites who just embarrass their clubs
Kompany slipped but i would never criticize him, he's a role model of a modern professional footballer a hard worker and leader, remember he got injured during training yet he played.

The game is over nothing can be changed now, only bank on Chelsea to park a super XL bus when they play liverpool and we win the rest.

We won't lose, but that doesn't mean we'll win. We will gladly take them down and let you walk over to the trophy.

I feel you bro :(

This is my first time here, i normally stick to my page or sometime to arsenal but not here..we played a match, we won you lost..that not what i wanted to say..

I think after Mr Wenger,Ian Holloway and Malky, Mr Pellergrini is the classiest manager to visit us, he waited to shake SG hand after the match. Incredible...you have got a very humble man up there.

"thats not what I wanted to say"

Yet you said it anyway... This man needs more self control.
Spursaussie3

I see your trying to stir up s**t! This is none of your business. Lfc140812 and most Liverpool fans have great respect for city and their fans. His grammar is just coming across bad over the web. He means good.
