Holy s**t the news that Barca is in Liverpool really triggered you guys. Have you heard any news that we're actually selling him or are you just freaking out?
Also, I forgot to mention that FSG hired Peter Moore..PETER f*****g MOORE to be CEO of Liverpool. Do you know who he was head of previously? EA. The most hated videogame company in the world, and was voted the worst company in the whole of the United States in a poll conducted by The Consumerist. In 2013, and the next following year as well.

Looks like FSG are looking to take EA's title.

What's new in our Transfer and this regime! We start of with false hope but as window rolls on we hear that certain top players could be going {Can, Coutinho}
Then the war chest makes sense!
+1
Exactly.

Sheeple:

"Look guys! We have a nice war chest! FSG are doing a fine and dandy job. Where are all the naysayers gone that say FSG are terrible? Where are they??"

Three days later...

Sheeple:

"Oh wait..Why isn't Coutinho and Can playing? Are they injured??"

Me:

"They are playing alright... Playing for Barca and Juve that is"

We might as well thank Juve and Barce for our nice donations to our war chest.
+1
Plus if you ever notice Bobby is half the player when Coutinho isn't playing so losing Coutinho would make many our players lose 10 to 20 percent and our signings so far are gambles and we about to enter CL. Arsenal first year out of CL and they make statement by buying a goal machine Lacazette!
+1
If we lose Can, and Coutinho we are f****d. I think it's going to be Can's year. He was looking really good for Germany a few months ago, and he really stepped it up towards the end of last season EPL. It makes sense why Juve want him.

As for Coutinho...No explanation needed. I have a feeling we aren't going to get our 1st choice targets and just settle for some more mediocre players to fill the void. I'm worried actually. I don't trust FSG, like I said earlier - they lack ambition and aren't in it to win it.
+1
If we lost Coutinho it would show the real model of this club, all this Fsg have changed goes into the bin. This is the first time in a long time I can see us actually improve on the last season. If we lose him... f**k kieta, or any other additions as it won't make up for losing our best player.
+1
Bro...That is their model. Buy low sell high. Best player or not.
We sold Sterling, Torres, Suarez, Benteke etc. etc. You think they changed all a sudden??

If we sell Coutinho Klopp is going to eat his words,"We are not a selling club" I have zero faith in FSG.
+1
@paRa Where were you when they spent 100M in their first two seasons while managing the stupidly high wage bills of fringe players?

You should stop blaming FSG for what we couldnt do on the pitch thanks to BR and KD, imo we were better under KD than BR considering the players we had.

For once can this forum stop shitting on FSG because they dont give each manager the most money every window, its so silly.
I am with PaRa all the way because the guy sees it as it is.

It is no secret on here that i don't think F.S.G are the men to take us forward. They never took us forward if anything they took themselves forward.

Whoever it was to wipe the dust off our club would of striking gold and that's what some of our fans never think about. We had 2 seasons where H&G put us in a horrible position though it wouldn't off turned out as bad as some think. (Worse case scenario) RBS would of taking us and we might of getting a 9 point deduction but those that think we would of gone under needs to look at it again and revalidate. We would of been sold to highest bidder.

That season regardless of the court cases etc we still landed top half of the table and if we lost 9 points we still be in top half of the table. (Worse case scenario)

Some fans look at it as we were Sunderland or something lol back then. We were far from that and before that were a regular CL side and premier league wasn't as hard back then.

If we were took forward we would have more trophies and better squad by now so depends on what yer opinion is by saying moving forward.

We seems to be in a constant loop of rebuilding in a destroy and rebuild fashion so where some get moving forward out off i would like ye to explain because all i see is us going in circles while other teams are moving forward and teams that were once behind us are pretty similar. That's not moving forward that is staying in same place from the constant circle.

Destroy and Rebuild again if we sell Coutinho!

@ Weezer

Oh believe me I was there watching.
Ok, let's rewind when FSG spent so much in their first 2 seasons. When did FSG take over Liverpool? In late 2010 I believe? Please correct me if I'm wrong.

2011 January transfer window Liverpool sold Fernando Torres for £50million, they spent £80m on players (under your 100m you're referring to) I'm not arguing that Torres left, he was past his prime and wasn't the same after his surgery. But they used the money from off loading players and bought unproven players. Yes, the managers should take some of the blame, but Dalglish at least won a trophy (Football League Cup)

They (FSG) bought the donkey who, at the time, was the second most expensive player in British football. Thanks to FSG transfer committee we bought him, and to be fair Dalglish is partly to blame.

For you to say oh," where were you when.." Believe me..I was watching and observing. FSG are in it for a profit. Don't be fooled. They brought in a lot of sponsorship and are doing everything not to spend their own money - to make a profit. Which I'm not complaining about that, it's a positive thing - the sponsorship part.

Watch when we sell our best players again like Coutinho, maybe you'll open your eyes and see the pattern here.

Not in it to win it.
Selling our best players.
Replacing them with mediocre players.
They are happy with top 4.
Lack ambition.
For profit.

Prove me wrong that we aren't a selling club. If we sell Coutinho and Can I'll be vindicated and proven right.
I want to be proven wrong for Liverpool's sake.

Edit.

@ Weezer

Also, remember the leaked e-mail of the sale of Liverpool from FSG? Do your homework and read it. Tell me what their motive is after you've read it. Cheers!

@ Kop4Ever You nailed on the head with this statement.

Apparently Barca reps are in Liverpool to discuss Coutinho, FML!
Serious, don't let them in
+1
Hate Fuking bareasslona.

Fans are s**t saying they don't need him because apparently he's not good enough for their mighty club (they did same thing with Suarez) and once they have him they'll be singing his praise.

Their players always talk like he is their players or some s**t.

Their board always trys to low ball. £89m for coutinho. Fuk that s**t. We should just say bid at least £150m for our boy or just fuk off.
+1
News coming out we made a third bid now of £74mill..
Leipzig released a video of Keita patching up with Demme. Keita is pretending to be the Physio and Demme says "he is in good hand" they shake hands and laugh..so these buggers made sure we can't leverage the training rift..I dont see him coming to Anfield now..time to move on..

I have a feeling that both VVD and kieta transfers would drag on till end of aug and we will be left with a thin squad.
Klopp is already talking about the current squad being good and its not just the transfer window pple need to focus on.

There may yet be one signing but more of a panic buy. My hope is whoever we sign is a household popular player and a definite starter.
+2
Klopp is really a nut case..83 mil ..my god..

He really wants Keita.
We really wanted some nut case at our club, keep going Klopp..love the tenacity from him.
The way transfer fees are rising every window, this would be considered a steel maybe next season, if the guy is really that good..
I think we are going to lose Can, why else are we trying so hard to get Keita? He isn't joining to sit on the bench, at least 1-2 players will be unhappy with playing time next season in midfield. Logically, I can see Can leaving us, won't be a guaranteed starter if we get Keita.
I got the same feeling, he must have already had a discussion with klopp. Remember he left bayern Becouse he wasn't getting first team. His not scared of changing teams if it means improving his career. I can see him being a total boss at juve that's why I really don't want to lose him.
Juve # 30 mil.
Could be a possibility that's probably why he isn't signing the new contract. I dont think Klopp really likes Can, so he might want to secure a replacement first and then let him leave, perhaps they have a gentleman's agreement for this..
Robertson (10m) vs Mendy (50m)
http://imgur.com/a/3lgmh

(spoiler alert - according to FIFA, Robertson's better)

Watch Mendey get a crazy boost on FIFA 18 because Man City paid 50M.

To be fair, Mendy is really good whenever I see him play.
