Spurs drop two points, have to capitalize on that tomorrow, makes it even more vital to win and go 5 clear in 4th or third if we win by 3 or more. But just focus on the win.
+2
We need to keep this good run up!
+1
Yes, we need to widen the gap with 5th and 6th place.
+1
Call it whatever you want I don't care! I am looking at how our rivals has strengthen and we didn't try to do anything! Utd fans don't care how much wages they had to pay for Sanchez. They got a world Class player and it's nothing out of their pockets and Jersey sales will probably pay for it.

Arsenal got a quality player in return and he is very suited to their style of play and now they are in talks for his buddy Aubang.
All of a sudden arsenal are looking like a scary team. Ozil, Wilshire, lac and Aubang upfront.

Spurs have a well rounded team and Chelsea is Chelsea.

This is always a problem with us that we never try to improve when the going is good we have to wait till it goes pear shape.

I hope I am wrong but I am starting to have a bad feeling because I know we haven't hit a bad patch yet and all teams hit 1. I really think to much trust is put on some of our players and why we fall apart during seasons.

Now was the time to bring in someone to make sure of it and as a foot to stand on. We are down a World Class player going into next stage of Cl and our Rivals have addressed that.
+1
Our recent transfer activities showed that we only sign a player in the mold of current system and who would make a huge impact to the current squad.

Mane
Salah
Virgil
Keita

Keep believing in our team, we surely will bring someone you will be excited hearing of it :)
+2
I do believe in the team. What I am saying is someone else should of being brought in to make sure of it. Remember just few weeks ago when Salah was out and Mane form was s**t? PC was carrying us. Now that situation will arise again only we don't have that something else to carry the Mantle. That's my point. All our rivals have better defense and GK this us so we need our attack fit and firing every game and that has to slow down sometime this season again.

You have to weight in the good and bad in order to fix the weak points. It's just logic and not about having faith. City game was the best game that highlighted our good and bad. And I be very surprised if our attack can do this till end of season and that's where buying another spark would come in as PC did.
+1
We will sign player if not this window, next window (if we do not sign player next window you can be furious)

Learn from before how when we rush in spending the money from torres and suarez transfer..

p/s : suarez transfer to liverpool is bound to happen even without torres being sold
We have 80 mill from PC sitting there and there are a host of players out there that would love to play for Liverpool under klopp. We are far from the team that couldn't attract back then and finally why do we have to wait till following window when we need players now?

Liverpool showing great intent is what us fans should be talking about and not saving the money we got from selling our best player that easy would of helping us on a way to some trophy this season.. Waiting tell next market is playing at a step behind.
+1
Kop I completely understand your feelings and know the past business deals and how we have handled things have hurt us. And yes you are right that many players want to come here, but Klopp doesn’t want just any of those players. He is set in stone on his first choice, and if the club that the player belongs to refuses to do business this window then that is that sadly. He’d rather wait and sign nobody to get the right player the following window then spend big on a second or third choice as can be seen with VVD and Keita.

Could it end up hurting us? Absolutely, injuries could undo us as it has before, but if we are to make it to the summer and make top 4 and get the first choice players Klopp wants then we shall be such a force. Klopp knows who he wants, and knows that this is now his judgement period. What happens over the next season or two will determine his future here and he wants to make sure this is the exact team he wants, not his second choice team. And he’s willing to take some risks to get us that perfect squad he has in mind in order to get us winning trophies again.

So keep hope in your heart and up the mighty Reds. YNWA

BenBro Y.N.W.A. mate.

+1 mate

Fingers crossed it doesn't hurt mate.

3 points tomorrow will be a good start because all eyes are on us over city win.
+3
Chelsea are linked with Peter crouch and I think that says alot about this period of the year. There's alot of things that Klopp takes into account and is always looking at the long term instead of a short term fix. I can think of five players that I'm sure we can bring in by just paying over the odds but Klopp won't spend a penny except his truly wants the player
(This will never happen)

Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos want to work with Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp, according to reports in Spain.

Kroos is said to be growing frustrated at Real Madrid and has been hugely disappointed by this season’s failure to defend their La Liga title.

Spanish outlet Don Balon claim the Germany international has a number of offers on the table to leave the Bernabeu.

And the report says he is keen to jump ship and work with his fellow countryman and Liverpool boss Klopp.

Kroos has reportedly been told by his team-mates that Klopp is a fantastic manager to play for and the midfielder’s interest has been piqued.

ugh roy hodgson was our manager once.. i watched palace play today and i thought my dad's vietnam flashbacks were bad..
Horrible injury for James McCarthy, this is worst part of football.
+1
Thats why Pep kept saying players need to be protected. When studs on fouls only get a yellow that encourages this kind of behaviour. Refs need to show the red card more often then players will play with more care and not break legs
Wengers been saying it for a decade, and was called arsene whinger... so it aint gonna change anytime soon
+1
Did y'all watch the incident? It was an accident. Nothing more.
+3
Yes actually it was McCarthy who made a tacke while Rondon was shooting. McCarthy just showed total commitment on his tackle.
+4
Saw the tackle still doesn't change the fact that if referees start giving out more red cards then players will play with more care. you don't kick the back of the leg with that much force, i mean images are out there. Doesn't matter whether he cried or not he just broke this dude's career! Refs need to start giving out more cards preferably red cards that way players will limit their dirty tricks.

Rondon should see whether he's "shooting" the ball or "shooting" someone's leg

This kind of sh*t happens more commonly to teams that play possession total football because opponent gets angry for not having the ball and having have to run around to get the ball and after failing to get the ball starts playing dirty, a few red cards here and there from the referee will solve the problem, its not rocket science.
FootballisCity,

Are you really suggesting he meant it? Do you think he was able to process that the ball was out of reach and then deliberately decided to kick McCarthy's leg as hard as possible? Watch this video, he is halfway through the kick before McCarthy even comes sliding it.

https://streamable.com/b411h
+2
The hell are you smoking bro??? You can't stop your leg mid-shot. Do you know how much player people generate when they take shots? Everything your body has is put into that movement. Gtf outa here talking about this incident being able to be avoided and players needing protection. Not even relative to the incident.
I don't know what you want red card for, shooting the ball to try and score a goal?
Mcarthy's fault, instead of slide tackling, he chose to stand tackle when Rondon had already pulled the trigger.
respect to Rondon for trying to get the ref to blow the whistle so he can get treatment
+1
Wee joe scored today.
+2
Lads I was wondering if yo've noticed a difference in the way Liverpool and Spurs celebrate compared to other teams. When I've watched you on MOTD your players seem to hug and huddle like us, but with other teams all I see are high fives and individual celebrations with players looking like they're pissed off they didn't score instead! Maybe I'm imagining it but what do you think? Poch and Klopp seem like they instil a lot of team spirit.
+3
Yep the egos are there in all teams, but they're kept in check by our managers more so I would say.
+1
An extremely good point, while watching the PSG's 8-0 thrashing of Dijon, I did realize that nobody in that team cares how many goals Neymar scores. Hardly any so called team spirit, but when Kane/Ali or Mane/Salah/Firmino get their goals entire team goes bersek to celebrate.
+1
We have such a great team spirit, every time our strikers score you see the wing backs and defenders the first one to run up and hug them.
+1
Every goalscorer has a little ego in himself thats normal. But teams like Liverpool are built to have a good team spirit. It's a very huge factor which can lift up the whole game or the opposite.
+4
Since money has been talked about on this particular forum and other parts of the site, thought I'd post some figures related to LFC.

With how inflation has become in football, net spend isnt a thing to look at... id say a way to measure a clubs financial prowess is the wages that they can offer... Manchester clubs in this case are monsters in this case and can blow anyone out of the water... they are probably the only teo clubs in the league who can have all players on £150k + and not be affected... Commercially Man United are waaaaaay ahead of the game as well

Chelsea are in a weird spot atm, they got a very expensive stafium to build, so its gonna be interesting how they finance that, and balance how they wanna extend players

Spurs are gonna suffer like we did, unless they start winning trophies, their best players will all go the way Walker did

Arsenal (rinse and repeat every year)
+5
Yea that is really low Dan for a club like liverpool who want to be great again. Kinda the reason why us and arsenal slacks a lot of the time.
we need to make this net higher if we are ever going to compete. Just like ATM us fan would love another CB and better Gk and if the net was risen we would be in the market for both.
+1
He chose 450,000/wk over a guaranteed PL medal, wise choice :D
+10
Simply another money monger. Who needs trophies when you can become Scrooge McDuck in couple of years.
lmao utd fans saying they’ll be a “world class” team when Sanchez arrives. Try being the best team in Manchester first ya jammy simpletons.
+10
Thought they were world class when they signed Pogba. Has the Pogba hype died? Time for Sanchez hype?
+5
I just die when they think a transfer can actually be free xDDD
+5
We all know what happened when RVP went to UTD
+3
They had Fergie though bruh. Fergie had that retirement trophy on lock before the season started, the whole season was Fergie time.
