Why all this talk about Gerrard? He's still a good and influential player in the team. All this talk about him moving on is premature, he clearly still has enough quality to be an LFC player. All the talk about him since the summer is pretty much a media creation from England's failure.
The echo said that Liverpool are in talks about a contract with Gerrard.
I think he is the most complete midfielder we have. Stupid BR just not playing him in the right position. If he played along with a strong CDM to cover for him Stevie G(as a more advanced CDM/CM) would tare apart any team with his passing. You know how people keep sayin we want Alonso back etc. well we don't need Alonso back if we use Gerrard properly.

Who saw Enriques recent vids and pics on insta gram. f*****g hilarious

Man Mario, he just needs to keep working hard in training, everything will come good on the pitch in no time.

Thanks for the links mate

No worries Dan.
Suarez first season we won the capital one cup. Here's hoping we win it with Balo in his first season. Any Silverware is good in my eye's. It is what this Club is made of.

Somebody said it yesterday and i say it again. Dig Deep Lads.

January Buys:
Asier Illarramendi 10-15m
Kiko Casilla 5-10m

Sell:
Lucas Leiva 4-8m
Jose Enrique 4-8m
Suso 2-4m

January Team

-----------Casilla-----------
Flanagan-Skrtel-Lovren-Moreno
---------Illarramendi--------
----Henderson----Lallana-----
----------Sterling-----------
-----Sturridge--Balotelli----

-----------Mingolet----------
Manquillo-Toure-Sakho-Johnson
-----------Gerrard-----------
--------Allen----Can---------
-----------Coutinho----------
--------Borini--Lambert------
Kiko casilia is good but Illarramendi ? Madrid paid about 35 M for him not so long ago , what make you think they will sell him for 10 to 15 M ?

I would rather go for khedira or if you want PL proven then song will be a good option in that price range & both are better then Illarramendi .
+1
^ I agree. Illarramendi cost them 32.2mil and their not going to sell him for any reason. His part of their future. Although Khedira is a better option, more experience and surprisingly his going to cost less.

Suso flicking off the camera at the end. :P

Probably some inside joke between the two and Mario. (maybe Mario bet that if he scores against Swansea, they have to sing his song to the camera)

edit: Lol commented on the wrong post.

This is what my comment was directed to:

Not sure where I got that link from, I guess it wasn't on footytube.
On topic:

Brendan sure has his ways doesn't he. Hopefully Balotelli sees this to know what he is capable of.
vs Newcastle
----------Mignolet-----------
Manquillo-Toure-Lovren-Moreno
----------Gerrard------------
----Henderson----Allen-------
----------Sterling-----------
------Borini---Balotelli-----

subs- Lallana, Can, Lambert

vs Real Madrid
----------Mignolet----------
Johnson-Skrtel-Lovren-Moreno
---------Gerrard-Can--------
Sterling--Henderson-Coutinho
----------Sturridge---------
Drop Hendo to CM and let Coutinho and Sterling play behind Stuzza. Or drop Can and go 4-3-1-2/4-1-2-1-2 With Balo and Stuzza upfront.
I thought Sturridge will miss the Madrid and Chelsea game.
+1
Lol actually ya he is out for about another week or two, which means he will miss the Chelsea game also.

Stuzza missing the important matches... f**k.
Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard delighted as Merseysiders welcome back Steve Heighway to Anfield

Why they ever let him go in the first place
+4
We are darn fools, that's why.
+1
We have been riding on our luck on the past few games (Madrid aside), hopefully we will continue to get results! I demand Borini to start alongside Balotelli.. which might just what we are going to see!

Anyone else thinks that Lambert doesn't seem to connect with the team? Also after watching highlights.. Are we really playing better without Gerrard? I think he solved the problem by going forward, but seriously are we really playing better without Gerrard? Maybe Allen and Handerson partnership will benefit us more? Oh man, I thought this day would never come.
+2
It hasn't come. He'll get the new contract.
+2
http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/29845114

Gerrard open to move to another club, if not offered a new contract.
+2
I will cry if this happens, but we will probably give him a contract until he retires.
+2
In a past interview he said he won't ever leave liverpool and he will run out his contract here. I'm surprised he is now saying is open to leave if there's no contract renewal.

I would also be very upset if this happened
+5
then i would give up on loyalty
+2
Sooooooooooo, if Liverpool doesn't offer contract but he wants to play football Gerrard is being disloyal?

Yeah thought so...
+3
Time F.S.G realizes that you got to pay big wages to keep or buy top players.
+2
He'll probably go to MLS if he can't get a new contract at Liverpool, I can't see him signing for another Prem team.
Vancouver white caps please, and then I can actually start paying attention. But most likely he will stay. But the day Gerrard retires from Liverpool will definitely be a new era for Liverpool.
If they let him go, then F.S.G will officially become f*****g STUPID GROUP...aka FSG group.
I would embrace Gerrard move if it were inevitable, he has been great for Liverpool and I'm sure he will always have some future here wether it's coaching or on the board somewhere. He's a great man in football and in life. His name would be huge on the back of an mls jersey and whatever that team is would have my full support if it were to happen. Soccer is building in North America and someone like him can keep the ball rolling. Gerrrard you are a king and will always be loyal to me. Scouser you'll never walk alone.
