Lucas is completely bossing it at lazio, proud of him.
From @empireofthekop

Midfield touches yesterday:

Wijnaldum - 34
Can - 62
Henderson - 93

The skipper carried them, but it's not fashionable to praise him ATM.
+1
His first good performance of the season.. Hopefully he continues this form
+2
Worthless, overrated, and not fit for Liverpool.
Very interesting video about Henderson.

https://youtu.be/B_nwXpoQjfI

Really worth the watch. I'm not saying I agree or disagree but it got me thinking about Hendo on the team.
+1
I always knew that about Hendo, he is constantly looking for a back pass and a side pass. The fans knows it as well. I agree mostly with the video about Hendo's game style but what it doesn't state is that we actually have enough quality up front for Hendo to shift the pressure or making risks. Now im not saying its right for Hendo to not make a risky pass or dribble heck even i get annoyed and moan but he does put in a decent shift.

However,

I do believe a player like Keita who play's in Hendo's position would offer so much more for our team in terms of breaking down opposition.

Hope we get Keita in Jan.
+3
Keita does not play in Hendo's position. He's a more attacking midfielder.
The video basically uses stats sometimes and then cherry picks bad moments to highlight when they don't feel like using stats. To say Henderson is bad on the ball is absurd. The guy is among the best at retaining possession. To say he doesn't or can't play line splitting passes is also absurd.

Cherry picked video. It lacks credibility.
+4
ATM Hendo is our best midfielder by far. And not because he is a world beater (altough his leadership abilities are greatly underestimated in terms of importance for the team) but because our others midfielders are not that good. They are poor in terms of defending and even worse going forward.
Colin, kieta has been playing more of a holding mid this season. Check his tackling stats
I actually like Gomez as our RB over TAA.
He wins so many physical battles and has the ability to put in a decent cross.
+5
Hopefully Clyne comes back soon. He provides defensive stability.
+1
But clyne does nothing going forward
+2
I think we have enough going for us attacking wise. The defence is the problem. So some more stability sounds good to me.
+1
Clyne any f*****g day. He is just a better player overall.
+2
^ i disagree. Clyne is a very very weak 1st choice.
If he could dribble/pass with his left foot he would be a very good right back.
+1
A win was much needed, Gini was sort of lost entire game. Hendo had a good game. Not sure about Firmino's role atm.
On the other hand what the f*** is up with Man city.
they spend 150m every season buying players sooner or later its going to click.
+1
They have quality players along with the best manager in the world. Deffo title favorites.
+1
When is Lallana back?
+1
Not soon enough.
+1
Watford's offside goal, Mane's red, No Salah pen v Burnley, incorrect freekicks before Leicester goal - how much more garbage can we expect from refs this season?
+3
It feels like Rafas last season.. When we hit the post like every game.
+1
Steel posts and magnets in the ball? Haha please no ☠️
Can I just say the penalty is debatable.. So many times vardy has run into another player to win the penalty. What if Mignolet made full contact with the ball he will still end up clobbering vardy. So it does not matter how much contact he makes with it.. It should not be a penalty
+4
Needed that result, if we drew the game I would have probobly collapsed.
+2
Mignolet being mignolet. Pretty sure Danny Ward is going to be no.1 soon if he performs like that again.
+1
should have been sold a long time ago. Karius is another nervous wreck both dont have the mental capacity to play for a big club.
+1
Tbh he made it up by saving the penalty, one badish game and we writing him off Cmon guys
I still think Migs could pass as 2nd choice keeper TBH props for that penalty save, was a bad effort from Ratboy Vardy but still redeemed himself for his poor decision to play the ball with his feet instead of just jumping on it. Maybe he thought it took a touch from one of his own player or thought he was outside the box.

That ref was a rubbish also.

+1
been writing off mignolet for a long time its not just this game.
Yeah same. Not completely written him off but feel as if we could have someone much better than Migs in goal.
+1
His been good for a season and a half, might have a small ceiling but his still good
No doubt he is a decent Keeper. However, does anyone really feel at ease with him in Goal? We need to find a Keeper like De Gay.
