markovic maybe to fenerbahce according to sky sports

brendan, are you retarded?
+1
Maybe it be a good move for him and we then can bring in a more solid RW.
-_- if true what a total c**k up
+1
@kop4ever
no way we are gonna bring a replacement with 2 days to go lol
+1
Why loan him to turkey surely he needs to play in the premier league loads of teams can use him - sunderland, west brom, bournemouth, watford etc.
+1
Sort of makes sense it frees up gametime for ings and ibe. Ibe hasn't done well so far though.
+1
^ Still 4 days left, Filip. But I get what you mean, it doesn't make sense to leave it this late.

How on earth uefa do this every time with Arsenal and City ?

Arsenal and Bayern in same group with Olympiakos

and how about this ?
City Juve Sevilla !!!!!

And utd and chelsea got an extremely easy ride to next round
+2
not really. one in russia, and a runner up in germany. good teams, nowhere near pushovers. although psv probably isnt as tough without memphis and wjinaldum
+2
Chelsea's group lol. At least Manu has Wolfsburg for competition.
+2
City's going to find it incredibly difficult, no push over teams
+1
Wtf why the hate on Rossiter?! Where have all the Liverpool romantics gone? I thought we fans enjoyed seeing players from the academy brought up to the first team..that's why we are unique . Let the lad play games and at least try..
+2
Let's just throw the whole u21 team on against man city. It'll be romantic
+2
Nobody hates him we just said he is to inexperienced to play with Arsenal.
+3
We have Texeira, Markovic, Ings, etc who would have been more suited to such an important game. Milner and Can could have sat back in the midfield so a holding mid direct replacement wasn't necessary.

Only questionable decision BR made that game for me.
If epl would to end, would we be in front of Man U bcos of name? How is it decided?
A coin is then tossed
+1
I know this will never happen but I would love to see us play a 4-2-3-1 with coutinho on the left, Firmino on the right and markovic right behind benteke. What we lacked againts arsenal was pace in the final third and that's what markovic has. He is very direct and that's why I don't believe he should be wasted on the wings. Firmino and coutinho can come deep, go wide and play as central play makers by interchanging with one each other and markovic. This is in one way replacing sterling but first we need to give markovic some game time to build some confidence. You can tell his confidence is diminished, I have not seen him passionly celebrate whenever he has scored for us, I think he still needs to get out of his shell and to do that he needs the manager to believe in him
+2
I agree.. sort of.

Markovic is a great player and needs game time, although there are a lot of people on here who say Coutinho is wasted on the wing so it comes down to where we can see the most value.

For me there is more value in Coutinho being behind the striker because of his key passes and long shot capabilities.
I can't remember when was the last time he scored for us much less whether he celebrated or not ... :P
Chelsea I think
Agree mate, Lazar is briliant when he plays centrally. Actually that's his natural position, and I would also love to see him play there, but that would mean to waste Cou on the wing, so...
Best CAM we have is Coutinho. Markovic is more of a wing man than a CAM. Then Lucas and Can as CM/CDM.
I personally want to see Ings play, possibly in a partnership with Benteke in a 4-4-2. Maybe with a diamond of:
Coutinho
Milner Hendo
Lucas

or some variation with Lallana coming in for one of the top 3 and Can coming in for Lucas. I would only expect this lineup to work against a lower team but I would like to see it none the less.
+1
It's true coutinho would be wasted but he did Preety well againts arsenal, also two seasons ago we did the same with the diamond,we had sterling behind two strikers and coutinho on the left am
+1
I don't think Coutinho is 'wasted' on the wings. He plays brilliantly from Left wing, but he just plays quit narrowly.
@KevMo - Couldnt agree more! i would love to see that formation with lucas/can holding with hendo and milner either side and coutinho spearheading the midfield onto the attack. Will give Benteke game time with ings and/or firmino as well and i also think Lallana would do well to rotate with hendo or milner.
we have too many natural CAMs coutinho, firmino, markovic, lallana. i wonder why we don't buy wingers
+1
I think Markovic could be a great winger/outside fwd. Would be nice to see Coutinho, Firmino, Benteke, and Ings on the field...Brendan has so many options. if Hendo is still injured vs West Ham

---------Mignolet--------
Clyne-Skrtel-Lovren-Gomez
------Milner--Can--------
Firmino----------Coutinho
------Ings--Benteke------

sub: Bogdan, Sakho, Moreno, Lucas, Ibe, Markovic, Origi

This team can swap positions and have certain defensive roles where Coutinho could push in and Ings to the RW
+1
Emre Can has been called up to represent Germany's first XI in upcoming internationals. You can see how Germany actually bring youths through their U21s and below into the first team. Hardly any England U21s make it to the first team which is a bit of cut and paste without any chemistry and rapport being developed from early tournaments together.
+4
Difference with can he has always been rated by German managers, he was even looked to be bought back by bayern but he chose to come liverpool for first team football
+1
So far I have been disappointed with BRs team selection and subbing. It's like there are some players he likes or he has in his fantasy team. He never puts in our strongest squad. For example why the f@#% did he put in that little boy in a big game vs Arsenal?
+1
But he played our strongest possible starting XI against Arsenal...
+4
i have no idea why he played rossiter. I was scratching my head too. Rogers has obviously seen a lot more from him in training and knows a lot more about him than you and i.

I get your skepticism but dont judge too early. We at Liverpool take pride in our academy and our youngsters wont blossom if all our fans go against them right off the bat.
+2
it's not really against them, it's a valid question.
for our young and unexperienced players there are cup games, loans, and subs in 80th+ minute when you have a lead, and not an important game against Arsenal, that's just stupid.
does seem naive from this side of things yeah, but then again rossiter might look like the best player on the pithc on the training field which we wouldnt know about...
Agree with filip
Lucas was done and tired...who else would have played CM from the bench
+7
Rossiter was good though. I think a lot of people underestimate him because he looks so young. People forget he scored a goal on his debut to bring us into the next round of a cup competition last year. Hasn't put a foot wrong for me yet so he deserves the chance.
+9
good to see rational thinkers weighing in on the matter.

We havent seen any evidence of Rossiter being a bad player, infact quite the opposite.
