Liverpool may need to overpay for Naby Keita as Jurgen Klopp insists club have 'enough money' for five new signings

Isn't it great that we are arguing about our team potentially spending too much money lol it used to be quite the opposite
lol love it.
Don't remember the last time we lost out on a player besides konoplyanka tbh. Lack of champions league was the issue, not the cash flow.
I've never watched Keita and I know it's hard to judge a DM from videos. Has anyone actually watched him play a game? How good is he really?

Also Andrew Robertson of Hull is our other target? Wtf? That's gotta be fake news
I watched him a few times, againts dortmund, bayern (the whole team got wrecked that game) and my beloved bremen. He is really good. Him and forsberg look amazing together. His more like a dembele then a Kante type player. Very good at link up play, not slow like can and wijnuldum. Would be a great upgrade on Henderson.
For 40 mil we can bid for Aubameyang. Keita 50 is non sense.
I don't know why everyone says you can get aubamayang for 40mill,mabey if your real or barca. If we go after him dortmund will demand way more. And he ain't a realistic target.. We should be going for players who are on the brink of being world class like kieta, laca (I know his gone), van Dijk etc
+1
dortmund want €80m for auba.
+1
These prices are just getting ridiculous now. Kante went for 30 million last year and he was a PL champion. RB Liepzeg aren't even the champions of bundesliga.
+1
well they know you have money. everyone in the league is making serious cash. this is the problem united have had since fergie left, people charging arms and legs for players we need. you can appreciate the struggle now for big spenders, they constantly have to overpay to get what they want.
How much did xhaka go for? And he didn't have the most stand out season..
City got silva from Monaco for 43m...I think that is a good business in current market.

Sergio - Xhaka cost 35m and he is only decent.
+1
Reports say £60 mill is the price agreed
BBC says 43m though
Let's go with bbc
£50 million for Naby Keita!

He is not worth that guys.
+2
His not but apparently that's the market now
For that price tag, I'd rather have his team mate Timo Werner. 21 years old scoring 21 goals in 31 games is something special.
50m? lol
Alternative is Demiray from Hoffenheim. Caught a couple of there games on Bein and he looks a player- 6 goals 10 assists and left footed
... That makes me want to probe into Coutinho's deal.
We must have done something illegal on that one.
We had an agent there, hes gaves us thes magiciansss

Our precious.
Azeal - Coutinho was not finished product when you guys signed and i know neither is Keita...but such deals are rare these days.

We got Azip , Costa , Hazard , Cesc for around 100m combined. But these days 100m you get only one:P

Omg what is klopp doing lololololol
+2
Omg thats where I sit for lunch! That would have been yesterday I missed my chance to meet him :(
+3
I was initially reluctant to accept Gini as a sucessful LFC recruit, but i am sorry and admit he is good and us being in CL, he has a big role in it.

His goals against big teams and last day borough, i think his fees is already cleared. He is an asset.
+5
He is our new Dirk kuyt and we are going to love him.

+2
I really hope we don't make the same mistake of not recruiting players that wil actually walk in the starting 11 and not just back up for the existing squad.Millions of articles stated players wont come to lfc due to lack of champions league.I just hope we can some solid QUALITY players as I'm sure the other top6 teams won't hesitate to splash the $$$ this window.
+3
This is the first summer we will be making progress, every other summer was a transition period of such.. If we keep all our best players I can see klopp bringing in some really good first team players.
+1
I agree with both of you guys.

Debt is finally cleared, Stadium is done, We got CL and great manager. First time that there is f**k all dead wood so time to add to the good base we have
+2
Good to see us being linked with the biggest names in the transfer market this window. It's been years since that happened
+2
I'm still not seeing us linked to the biggest names tbh. van dijk is the only one i can think of, and he's injured. werner, keita, sessegnon, casillas, gray (lei) yes they're all good players, but not big names it seems to me.
why haven't we been linked with any leftback?
I thought it should be our priority for next season?
+2
Sessegnon
+3
Spurs are leading the chase for him, not Liverpool.
We getting him. Spurs got two left backs already.. We can give him more football
+2
R. Rodriguez from Wolfsburg should be on the LB list
We all want him but he has not been linked with us in over a year I think
Gibbs is all yours!
+5
^lol

We'll swap for Moreno :D
