I don't know all the signs of the apocalypse off hand, but Nicklas Bendtner scored a hat-trick against the USA. That has to be one of them ;)
Anyone else seeing this stuff about Studge being put for a month? Seriously... i hope it's just all a shite joke!
Sturridge? I can't really say much, I'm done. Balotelli's Last chance to prove he's not an ordinary player. Lovren as well if he fucks up the Arsenal game, he's done for good. I'm very happy Lucas is back, he was so much for us before he got injured. Sterling you can suck my D. He won't sniff the striker position until he signs the contract, that's why Rodgers is playing him in the RWB. Next game, I'd play this:

---------------------Migs---
--------------can------lovren-----Sakho--
Sterling-----------------------------------moren0
--------------Lucas----------Henderson-------
-------------------Coutinho-------------------
----------Lallana-----------Balotelli--------
+1
Lallana, sterling and migs are out couple with sturridge and skrtle...

----ward--
can------kolo-----Sakho--
Manquillo-----------------------------------moren0
--------------Lucas/Allen----------Henderson-------
-------------------Coutinho-------------------
----------marko-----------Balotelli--------
Yeah I'd almost want Kolo over Lovren in the lineup
I'd put Sakho middle of the D. He's the most solid defensively and that has to be the priority for someone in that position.

Even tho France let in 3 goals today none of them were near Sakho and he was a beast.

He's also the best leader of the 3.

All in all, though, I think it's time to go back to 442 daimond to throw opponents off. They've sorta figured out the 343
I miss it when Rafa and Wenger would field young talent when Arsenal and Liverpool played each other.
good luck to Jack Dunn and Kevin Stewart in their one month loan at burton

YNWA young reds!

Jack Dunn is a player I look forward to seeing in our first team squad next season. Scouser, great on the ball, powerful shot, and a whole lot more to offer. I've been following him since, and he looks very promising.
i think i know why we lost against united...

did anyone else notice Phillip didn't post a line up before the united game....

The man is a legend.... always posting lineups!

If selected the match against Arsenal could be the most important game lovren has played in a liverpool shirt. He will have to beat his best and put i a performance that reflects his price tag and why Brendan went through all this trouble to get him.
Without skertl to shadow him, he will be in the limelight, responsible for keeping it tight at the back.
A great chance for him to show his leadership and stomp his mark on the team. Looking forward to the game.

Thinking about next season...
Let's take a look at out squad. Upfront we do need to get rid of ballo, lambert and borini. None of them are really doing anything for us, incoming we have origi. This is an area where we need to spend big. heard that we are after vieto..then the trio of origi, vieto and stu would form our attack.
Just behind we have lalana, courtino, markovic, and sterling. Don't think we need to get more players in that area.
behind them we have hendo, lucas and allen..this is the weakest part of our team, we need to go for someone as talented as a makelele used to be. another area where we will have to spend big, we need someone who can set the tempo of our game as well as break down the opposition's attack..ain't not many players who can do that as well as alonso used to do.
At the back with skrtl, can, tourer, lovren, sakho, wisdom, ibe and llori we are well covered.
we do need to get a decent goal keeper to keep mignolet on his toes.
taking in consideration players like ojo, teixeira, sinclair and flanagan we have a talented bunch who can come in for cups game.

this is the best place we have been in years. we only need to spend big on two players and with gerard and jognson leaving, we already have the money to pay for big wages.
what do you guys think.
my choice of players would be, vieto or benzema as the striker. William carvalho to partner hendo in the middle.
+3
Don't think Benz would leave RM.
Agree. Overall we have a good team, I'd say the positions you've mentioned as being the ones to cover are, indeed, the positions we need to strengthen.
As a striker I'd buy Lukaku - I really like the guy, and in the midfield I'd buy an experienced player - something like Schweinsteiger.
Honestly I believe that whomever we will bring this summer, we will join the party for the title race next season. Our team has developed into a beautiful team, that's not afraid of the big names. I'm looking confident at the future. YNWA

Imo what you lack are real wing-backs if BR keeps 343, which by all means is a good formation for your squad. Also need a beast DM instead of Allen for more defensive stability in that shape.
+1
343 it's a good formation, but we are killed on the wings. I believe a formation with 4 on the back and Lucas in front of them is more composed.
And Drde, every team in the world needs reinforcements. We are no exception. My only concern is that we lost many players with big personality (Stevie, Carra, Suarez, Dagger) and we are lacking on that front. But, hopefully, the youngsters will grow and fill that gap.
+1
Barlfc, from what i've read, stu, hendo, skrtl and can are are having big influence in the dressing room and on the field, they are turning into leaders. oh let's not forget toure also.
Go looking for Drde159 and you will find him here....cool to see a united fan having a conversation with them Liverpool.....
+4
i think we should encourage more fans from different teams to post on here.
+1
I feel we get a pretty diverse set of fans from all over of different teams here!

I've seen Barca, Arsenal, Utd, Chelsea, Spurs fans all come into this forum before.
