Just saw the red card for Sevilla, what a disgusting tackle. Really hope there is no lasting injury for the young lad. What a piece of s**t
+2
yea that was dirty!
+1
Hope he gets twatted by someone in Spain
That wasn't the only bad moment in the game, Wilson got smacked in the face also
Seville were treating this match like a must win game, not a pre season friendly.
+1
A trophy, a bird and two Poppins.

That's it !
Super sloppy at the back vs Sevilla. Hope this is not a signal of things to come. We are leaking goals left and right..
I know it's never gonna happen, but bale would kill under klopp.
Agreed, but maybe Klopp would kill his fragile body with the physical demands of playing for us
+1
Will cost too much for a player that injury prone, high wages, past his best imo.
+3
I would take him on loan. He's too old to buy at this point. We really need someone to control the midfield more than anything, and another good center back wouldn't hurt either IMO.
+2
We got like 6 cms and 4 good center half's, I would say that's the two positions we don't need cover for.

Imo we need a attacking player that fills in for any of the front three being our biggest priority, after that it should be left back
+3
you guys already have Salah on the right and Bale cant even press like Klopp demands for 30 min let alone full game...tough to understand how he would kill it under klopp.
+5
Still would prefer Coutinho loan if you ask me..
I dont know how Bales wages are, but imo we can not become united and messing up wage structure giving a loanie like 300K plus/week.
+2
More like he would be killed under Klopp.
+2
don't want bale anywhere near this team. let him go to united. that seems like a move they'd make..
+3
Bale is past it. He'll have to play in the PL for people to finally realize how poor he is.
send him to china.
+1
Anybody going to the Liverpool game against sporting Lisbon on Wednesday at Yankee stadium? I'll be there - Thought I'd ask.
If you get to meet Klopp, please tell him to sell Lallana.
Lallana when fit isn't a bad player. The problem with him is he's another Sturridge. He's made out glass.
+1
Time will tell if his days are numbered at the club I guess.
I know it's not a popular opinion but I think he still has something to contribute to this team
We need depth, I remember last season his hustle single handedly won us a game which he started in; motm performance, standing ovation coming off. He was pressing high and getting the ball back for mane (i think) to score. Trust klopp, if his the last of our "deadwood" I'm happy
+3
If he is the level of our sixth choice center mid.. I'm happy lol which he is

I’ll be there Para, section 114B, gonna be tailgating with the Carraghers team and Bootroom lads
@BenBro

I'll be at Field 132 Row 6. The opposite side.
The last time Liverpool played City at Yankee stadium I had your section. Don't remember exact seat's tho. I might hit up Carragher's pub in Manhattan after the game. Depending how they'll do.

Hopefully they'll play better than today.

Ah okay! Well feel free to come join the tailgating beforehand too
Is there a personal reason why liverpool want to get rid of Clyne so much.
I don't see the problem why he can't be backup to TAA. There are other players that could do with leaving quicker.
It sounds to me like he’s given them sort of an ultimatum that he wants first team football and he’s just not going to get that here, which is a totally valid reason for wanting him off the books. Especially if it is a mutual decision.
+2
West ham will be bitchh to play against next season with them during Sebastien Haller
nah
+2
If Yarmelenko doesn't get injured and with the addition of Pablo Fornals and Haller, including Felipe Anderson and if Lanzini signs a new deal and stays injury free, they have a really solid attacking team. Their defense is suspect and needs to improve, which will be their weakness but in terms of attack, their just the type of team Pellegrini likes.
Yeah agreed they have made significant improvements in attack. Will be tough to beat at home and could surprise people on the road.
So Dortmund beat us 3-2. We seem to be missing a CAM who can create goals!
I’m not that worried about a preseason match.. but I do think firmino should move into that role when the rest of the team is back
+1
Players who can play good as CAM:

Keita
Ox
Lallana
Shaqiri
Firmino if needed
even Wilson
It's good to make mistakes in pre-season so there are things to iron out before the new season. Brewster though is one of the rawest talents I've seen coming through the ranks since folwer. If the kid keeps his feet on the ground he has a bright future.
Weve tried firmino at cam and it only worked for few games until teams found him out. The only 1 real cam we have is OX. It's not a postion that you can put square peg round holes. We are lost without a cam and goals were down last year due to it. We need another real Cam to help OX
+2
Even ox is not cam. He play at cam position but really, he plays more like box to box player. He doesn't have that creativity of cam.

Need someone in mould of silva, Erikson, hard working ozil, etc who will produce 2-3 key passes per game. Our best player in key passes dept is Salah. He is one of the best finisher and imagine someone like Silva feeding him.

Shaqiri is the closest we have got to a real CAM.
Dortmund literally played their first 11 while we had so many missing, don't read too much into it
+2
Yeah the game is just a training exercise. We lost to Dortmund in a friendly last year too.

But we do need players
We conceded 3 goals so we need a new CB to replace Van Dijk.
+4
VVD is a terrible defender. I think you should sell him.
+3
VVD is overrated. He was a one season wonder
+2
So it's up to pepe now where he wants to go as its reported lille have accepted bids from three teams, one which is us

The guys who reported the van dijk story first are the ones to break this one also
+2
80 million is a ridiculous bid though
+1
Yeah, but it's in euros so about £60mill.. Not too bad seeing how that's the going rate for every Tom dick and harry
“Oh my god, Jürgen was such an animal!” said the excited star, who highlighted that one of the manager’s best traits was his ability to develop everyone into a better version of themselves.

That should excite Liverpool fans, who will be able to see the potential of this young and exciting squad that Klopp is working with. As well as the first team pros in the prime of their career, the Reds squad is packed with talented youngsters who need Klopp to push them to bigger and better things.

Marco Reus
+1
Damn shame about Marcos Reus tho. If not for the injuries he would have been something else. I still remember watching him during his early Mochengladbach days.
