Pepe Reina; "You cannot say NO to Barcelona."

Luis Suarez; "It will be difficult to say No to a club like Real Madrid."

Daniel Agger; "I can say NO to just about any club in the world
as long as Liverpool Football Club want me to stay."
Emre Can; "My back hurt$ Im going to Juve."
+3
How Owen is an ambassador and Agger is not is beyond me.
+2
Embarrassing is what it is. Owen is a dirty manc
You can only beat what is in front of yea and England are BOSS in this world cup.
+1
Let's see how boss they are against Belgium
+3
I think they will beat Belgium 2-1.
Guys who lead the group if Belgium vs England is a draw? Both have 8-2 combined in two games.
Its GD, then goals for then head to head and then fair play.
So England will lead due to fair play?
Fair play as in how many yellows a team has. So if they end in a tie and there's no yellows for either team then yeah England is first.

But since Belgium has 3 and England has 2 yellow cards, I wonder who would finish first if they tied and England got a yellow.
According to the regulations it goes:

Points > Goal difference > Goals scored > Head to head > Fair play > Fifa draw; which seems incredibly dumb.
Same old story, playing well againts teams like Panama then failing againts semi decent teams
+2
They were BOSS against Panama and Tunisia though. Will they BOSS Belgium and potentially Brazil or Germany in R16?

Instead of FIFA draw, they should hold a chess match between Lukaku and Kane to decide who goes through first
You can draw in chess too, though.
Damn, then a game of FIFA brought to you by EA
England will play Japan or Colombia or Senegal. Brazil or Germany in QF if England top the group.
Panama celebrated their first ever wc goal like the won the finals lmfao
+4
^ LOL I thought I was the only one who noticed that. THeir fans faces were so ecstatic you would think the score was 5-0 for them instead of losing 6-1
The commentator called the player who scored a "living legend" for panama lol
From their perspective, it was everything to them. Every second of this WC will be celebrated in their history nevermind win or lose.

If my small nation did what Panama did, we would probably celebrate the same way. I felt happy for them. Not every nation is blessed to be a powerhouse.
Panama will make America great again

That set piece play by Henderson was sickk

Brandt has been shooting so well, wish he and Bobby got more game time already.

Liverpool news and transfers LIVE - Fresh Fekir twist, Reds 'make €180m Asensio bid', Keita arrives on Merseyside

https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/asensio-liverpool-transfer-bid-made-14819756

Just a rumor at the moment but Damn all the same!
+1
He has a crazy €500ill buyout
Liverpool balling like that?
+1
But we won't spend 75 mil on Oblak? Something isn't adding up about this rumor.
+1
Becouse it's just a s**t made up rumour lol
+3
Guys were saying Shaqiri was overweight then he scored last night took off his shirt in celebration and now everyone realizes he ain't overweight he is baby HULK! lol
+4
Also alot of people calling him lazy, he was the only player sprinting from first minute to last
+3
The only thing lazy is their research lol
+3
Some players are overweight on BMI not because they are fat, but they have huge muscle mass ;)
+3
Shaqiri is not overweight, however he tires out faster than a lean person because of the excess muscle. It's not particularly helpful since he loses out on speed and endurance as a winger.
+2
He might be a football nationalist as well in regards to laziness. Not saying Alexis Sanchez is lazy, but his exertion & effort when he has a Chilean shirt on versus a club one is massive. Can't really blame a player for that. None of it really matters though if we're signing him as a utility player - he'll rarely play the full 90 back to back.
He's just trying to find himself a new contract
Shaqiri you beauty
Foolish to collect the yellow card with such rules. Could turn out to be costly. Hope for the best
Lets go Klopp...
I'm not convinced Shaqiri would fit our system. The first put off is his work rate. Our team works too hard and is too fast paced and I see a bit of Sturridge in him- extra touches that kill the run of play, but capable of that one incredible goal once in a blue moon to make everyone forget the frustrations.
I would take him just for the long shots
Sergio

It is going to be awkward for many guys on here when we sign Shaqiri sometime this window and when he starts playing for us it is going to be even more awkward for them lol

I find it really funny.
I Prefer Shaqiri over another youngster like Solanke. Shaqiri is proven, played at the highest level and 12m is cheap even for a backup.
I think Shaqiri would thrive in Klopp's system. It's a smart buy in my opinion.
What is up with linesman this world cup? Calling offside soo late
Might have something to do with them being asked not to call on tight decisions? I dunno this world cup is weird yet at the same time entertaining so far.
They don't call it early on tight decisions since they have VAR.
Gabriel Jesus over Firmino? lol get the f**k out of here. Not even fit to lace Bobby’s boots!
+3
Bobby probably did more on the bench than Jesus in these past two matches.
