The birds has it that we are after our very own Pepe Reina.

I heard Klopp is interested on bringing back as part of the training team or something, so he would be like back-up/coach for the goalkeepers.

I think it would be a fantastic idea, very ideal.
Polish midfielder Piotr Zielinski's future is yet to be sorted, after Liverpool backed off a possible deal at the last minute, and reports in Italy suggest they've have no plans to return for him this summer.

According to Italian website Mondo Udinese, Zielinski has waited too long for Liverpool to agree a deal with Udinese, after Jurgen Klopp gave him personal assurances.

Mondo Udinese reckon the relationship between Liverpool and Udinese isn't too good, as Watford, which is also owned by Pozzo family, signed Jerome Sinclair, who they say is compared to Steven Gerrard but we don't really know how they came up with that.

Udinese are demanding €13m for Zielinski, and Liverpool believe that's a bit too much for a player who is yet to establish himself. Napoli are also said to be keen on signing the 22-year-old, and Mondo Udinese say a transfer to Liverpool is very unlikely now.

That would contradict some other claims in Italy, which sees a transfer as likely. Whatever the outcome, Zielinski to Liverpool has been a bit of a mess.

A bit of a mess they say! They couldn't get Gotze over the line and now they fail on plan B Zielinski! Committee want some bang average player!
Couldn't we just loan him for a year?
Udinese is complicated and here's why. The owner is planning on squad shifting to which ever team did well and since he owns Watford and udi is easy for him to just "sell" zielenski to Watford so they can do better. You guys are in a bit of stuck situation but best with it you may end up getting him. We have too many players on the roster atm
Most of us have seen the pattern and those that don't must be living under a rock! This committee has to go end off. It can't be the other team or player fault all the time and it is definitely not Klopp or our club attractions letting us down all the time. The committee should off gone with previous regime and that's the owners fault for keeping shitty employees!
Not disappointed even if we don't get him. He is a future player. We need to fix our 1st team anyways
Piotr Zielinski deal is now also official off

Liverpool Echo
mehh wasn't really excited about him anyways
+1
Yeah, he didn't look super exciting and the rumours never seemed very substantial anyways.
Liverpool have contacted Napoli for Reina

(Corriero dello Sport)

Lol but we have karius and the brilliant migz
Sounds like s**t alright unless Migs is getting sold.
Karius and Reina would be an exciting goalkeeping duo
Guys it was a very quick change of heart by Gotze and how he changed his mind so quickly. He really did want to come.

Something is really dodgy on how Liverpool do transfers and it goes back a while.
It's like Liverpool mess the other teams around enough so they don't have to sign the player. I know Gotze is not really needed but that's not my point it is more on how Liverpool do their business.

For example when it's their type of player they throw the money and make sure they get them. But when ever it is a quality player that doesn't fit what they want or wages something always goes wrong with the deal when it looks nailed on.

Klopp wants Gotze he will end up getting Zielinski
and so on, Nothing has changed until i am proving wrong.
Klopp will go along with it for the moment and eventually get sick of it and walk. He ain't a Rodgers.

Guys something has to change at our club and i know it is very early though from previous windows i don't feel any hope. We are crying out for some star name and with all the money we have we got to get one.
I think bayern have something to do with this, can't see why he will sack his agent
no club gets all their top targets, doesn't matter who the coach is. timing and a bit of luck play a big part. it's very possible gotze just doesnt want to miss out on CL and is willing to wait another year.
Do people here still want that big lump Benteke to stay?
newp.

^^

yep *troll face*
+1
Yes only if we don't get a better striker in which I doubt
+1
Go away cloudst =p
+1
:D
call me crazy but I don't mind him staying...the problem is his wages...otherwise he is a good option to have on the bench.
i'd swap him for Gonzago and will throw in 30 M
I would say depends on Klopp..
If Klopp believes he can recycle that huge sack of sand.. Then I believe in Klopp.
Samed Yesil close to Trabzonspor move

what a bummer that he got injured and never grew into the player that we all wanted him to be..

Another one of the FIFA players. He had good pace. Always use to sub him on FIFA 14.

Ah guys Fifa again!
Did anyone see Hector right before Slovakia's second goal lmao
Oh s**t, Macca just said FSG are in talks with 2 parties in selling the club.

I don't disagree with FSG tbh, they did what most fans probably wished an owner would do, spend money and listen to the fans ( klopp, Kenny and so on). They didn't come without their mistakes, but they did save us from debt and put us on sound footing for the foreseeable future. I just hope these new owners follow a similar if not better setup.
+4
Where is the link?
+2
i know many dont like FSG just because they didnt splash cash like mancity or roman.. but i will say it again.. i still believe they are among the few owners in the league that know how to run a sport entity.. majority of owners are only splashing their cash and never built sustainably.. in FSG, we got an owner that understand the business behind the sports and the importance of first team performance..and we had overcame our debt, got multiple sponsors, expanded the stadium, a great manager, and a firm base to soar upwards..but yeah they have their share of bad decision here and there too..

the news of selling the club had been lingering for sometime.. the club was bought around 300mil pound in 2010...and after 6 years, i think they club can be sold around 600-700mil pound now... and some linking us with the brother of Mancity owner...

but thank you for 6 years of stability after the hell we went through with H&G..
+1
I'd take ur owners any day of the week compared to the dickhead who owns us :'(
+2
i feel you mate

Sheikh Khalifa over them all anyway.

Only thing i can be thankful of F.S.G is Klopp everything else has just lowered the fans expectations over the years and making some feel players like prospect and buying average players was all we were worth and now they will finally leave with a big lump some after spending f**k all last few years. And when i say f**k all i am talking about their bank account the net spend has been below average while all that cash that was coming in! We are taking about a massive global brand here in Liverpool not Villa, Any smart billionaire who would have taken over the small debt would of being sitting on a gold mine after it.

Every window same bullshit. Thanks for sharing Weezer.

I want to hear about players & targets, takeovers can wait till the window is over.

@Kop4Ever

Isn't that what Newcastle was thinking, before s**t happened.
Even Inter a short while back..? Look at where they are.
Apparently Coutinho was the dominant player in Brazil v Panama

I watched the first half and Panama play like a team of school boys
Watched the highlights. Coutinho looked pretty good.
