People hyping up Gomez-VVD pairing but I just want to see my boy Lovren smash the haters once again :/

I see plenty of teams parking the bus against us this season. In an actual competitive open game, we are unplayable.
+1
So true, well at least you know we won't ;)
Thats why your fans are never bored , we play exciting explosive football
+5
Definitely true, but what Klopp has built here looks to me like a team that has no major weaknesses. Park the bus all you like, all it takes is a moment of brilliance from one of our attackers or an excellent cross from our capable full-backs. We didn't have that in previous years. I have absolutely no fears this year playing a team that parks the bus - because it only works if the attacking team eventually tires, sort of like timidity in Boxing in order to tire the opponent out. When I look at our first 11, I don't see a single player that can't give 100% for 90 minutes. That's the beauty of Klopp's transfer innovation to only sign highly fit players: They can play any style of football they need to win the game.

I think any teams that park the bus against us this year will quickly learn it won't last much longer than 70 minutes, because they'll tire and lose concentration before we do.
+2
Not to mention that 10 out of our first 11 have all got a goal in them. 10 at the back worked against us when we had Lucas Leiva. Now we have Keita and Fabimho. If anyone parks the bus, we've got enough firepower in every position to unlock it and put it in drive.
+3
hahahahaha f**k off Ramos you goat f****r
+3
Pretty difficult game against Palace away from home guys. Really hope we can keep a clean sheet and ill take 1-0 in this game. The have historically been our Achilles heel
+1
We either do really good or have a shaky game, still hoping we score 3 or 4 againts them but would be happy with a 1 nill
I would like to happily rescend my previous post about Shaqiri weeks ago. My main concern was his attitude and work rate and that clearly won’t be an issue under the big German’s guidance. Bring on the Cube as everyone’s calling him haha
+3
It's Baby Hulk mate, Baby Hulk...The Cube what a s**t name :)
+6
I would also like to retract my Sturridge statement. Well worth 120k a week for a super-sub of that caliber.
^As someone said before, a fit(and happy) Sturridge could very well be the difference between a title challenge/top 4 challenge and winning the title. Fingers crossed he remains fit this season.
+1
I like Baby Hulk more lol or Brick s**t House
+3
Lmao kop4ever, smh you guys lol.
+2
I said the same thing last week I guess..Proper, Proper squad this season :D
Why is everyone talking up liverpool, we have had a first competitive transfer window..its a norm for Chelsea, utd.. I find it infuriating, being talked up so early.

Utd has had better teams than us for years, Chelsea generally has a better team and then the City owners ..well the less i talk the better about them.

I for once want us to be solid from start and it will help if these jobless pundits shift their gaze to some other team.
When you have a team lacking in quality and depth compared to those teams throughout the years and achieve a top four position and a champions league final because of the tactics and unity then address those positions with a big transfer window what do you expect?

Simply put this team is sexy to watch and was the only team to hand the juggernaut City an education in open play tactics (on three occasions)

That is a very good point and as a fellow fan, I see it the same way the only thing is I agree with Lfc140812 that if the media really see it that way then why did they never gave us credit for doing that with s**t players. Truth is mate nobody wants us to win it in England because bar pool fans and as the phrase goes we are not English we are scousers plays a lot into it. Unnecessary pressure on us to try to stop us when City are actually last years winners.

But let it be! It feels good to be on top......
The Liverpool squad with Suarez was better than the spurs, arsenal and united team of that like two year period leading up to the title chase. You’re squad is better and Contains more expensive players than every team in the epl bar city and maybe united. Not to mention you play some pretty good stuff and according to Liverpool fans the best footy in the league.

Why wouldn’t Liverpool be talked up? They’ve been building this thing for like 6 years now. Would be quite impressive to improve the squad at this point.
So yeah. Cheers to looking up at you this season
+2
It's because on our day, nobody beats us. Not only does nobody beat us then, we put a couple past any team in the world.

This was before the additions of the great signings this summer. So the hype is very much expected my friend.
+2
People are asking if we need a back up to Firmino, but I doesn’t look like we do at the moment. Sturridge can slot in, but he doesn’t maintain the same fluidity as the others while linking passes. Against West Ham Firmino came off Salah shifted to CF and Shaqiri went to the RW. With Keita able to play LW Mane can also fill in at CF
Solanke was meant to be the back up but he looks toothless in front of goal even though he does have technical ability.

Sturridge will play a free role, as he prefers to drop deep. We could utilise the creative side of his game as no longer can he play on the shoulder.

Brewster is what excites me, if he can be moulded into a proper #9, I'm expecting him to be the back up to firmino in upcoming seasons
Ramos is definition of scum
+8
Agreed, what he do this time?
One of our national newspapers is saying that we are very close to sign Rabiot. Without mentioning any sources, it is said that we practically got him, all we're waiting is the winter break so we could make it official (he's entering the final 6 months of his contract). Anyone heard about this? And if this is true, what do you guys think of it?
Personally, altough I don't rate Rabiot that high, I believe it could be a good move for us. He has the qualities and the playing style to suit and even improve our midfield. But still ... Rabiot?? ...
if his price isn't too high, sign him up. he's got massive potential. haven't seen anything about this though
+1
Why would we want him when we have like 8 midfielders fighting for three spots already, I don't believe this rumour
+1
^ This. The only reason, at this point, to sign a midfielder, is if he improves the squad or adds a completely different dimension. Don't see Rabiot doing that
He is free transfer.
+1
^ that's a good start, but he wouldn't be able to be on starter level wages
He is like our wee Joe Allen in my opinion..
Waiiiiiiiiiiit Schürrle is playing for fulham?
Yaaaaap
