Llori loan dont make sense, Markovic I can understand we have an abundance of attackers even for the several competitions we are playing. And he needs the confidence boost. But seriously I dont think we have an abundance of CB to be loaning them out.
Skrtel, Lovren, Sakho, Toure, Gomez and to some extent Can. I think that's enough.
Toure is more for leadership than anything else his legs are going. Can should never be shackled to CB position again unless in an emergency. Skrtel is no spring chicken either. Gomez and Llorri should be the kept to fill the gaps as Skrtel and Kolo will be gone in next 3 windows.
I understand that loaning Ilori out will give him PL experience but BR obviously does not rate him cause we're playing an 18 year old as left-back. Ilori had 2 decent loan spells and plays well for his U-21 team, wtf does he have to do to get a game with us????

BR is f*****g clueless, smh.

He missed the whole pre-season due to injury. Difficult for Brendan to just shoehorn him into the starting XI after that.
If anyone has some time to kill, here's a long Torres interview discussing anything and everything.

"Gerrard changed the way i understood stuff. I remember that in my first year in Liverpool I finished third for the Ballon D'or and went with him to the gala because he was also in FIFA’s best XI. On the plane back he told me not to worry, that I was going to win much more stuff and I could win the Ballon D'or. We talked the whole trip and I felt that he really thought that I could win all the things I wanted. Since then, I realized that I had to try to reach all my targets. Him believing in me made me change. "

"There are different kind of players. Players that both referees and rivals look in a different way. They take the ball and have three guys around them and leave the rest of us free. They are the players you have to associate with. I live for those players. Players like Gerrard or Xabi."

Jose Enrique wanted a brand new Playstation to be part of his package at @WBAFCofficial. All talks ended at that point. #LFC

f**k You Enrique
serious? i thought the only joke for today was United splashing out 36m on a 19yr? -_-
Why has no one got any points in dreamfooty?
ILLORI/ENRIQUE UPDATE

An update from Ben Ransom at Liverpool's training ground

“Tiago Ilori has certainly been interesting a couple of Premier League clubs, including Aston Villa, but there has been no movement on that at this stage.”

“Jose Enrique to West Brom is looking less likely this evening because he's only just left Liverpool's training ground. There was also some interest from Sunderland, but it doesn't appear to be materialising.”
Jose erique don't wanna loss that sweet sweet moolah Liverpool are paying him .

Apparently Liverpool and west brom agreed a deal but couldn't reach an agreement with player .
f**k, we all used to like and respect Enrique. He's just a bloodsucking deadbeat these days tho.
Berahino - "I will never play for west brom again" Bunch of spoiled brats these footballers. this sport has a become a fcccking joke.

What do you expect from this generation? Have you seen the kids these days?
Sometimes its the player, ie: Tevez @City. Sometimes its the team holding back the player. I saw an interesting interview of Big Sam on Football today and he said that players like Stones, Sterling and Berahino that are competing for spots in the England squad and they want Champions league football. Its the best place for them to have a real test against the best in the world.

I appologize for bringing up Sterling. It wasn't meant as a slight at your club. Everton held out on Stones and in some way it means his developement will be hindered by not moving to the next level. Its a reality every young player has to deal with. The best prospects for England in the PL era have always been kept appart and really never got much time to gel as a team. Jernaine Defoe was probably the most under utilized strikers England had in the last decade. And then there's the whole Gerrard/Lampard never being able to link up issue.

If a young prospect wants to move up the chain he'll find this very difficult in England. Young players are often left stranded in Championship or lower level PL teams that value them so high that the pressure is often way to much to handle. Couple that with the expectation to succeed immediately and the pressure is just too much. These guys often go for the first big paycheck that comes their way and sign 5 year contracts with EverBromSpurs and never play a lick of CL football and end up not knowing how to handle the pressure of big cup games. This has been England's young prospect issue since the PL came to be.

He didn't exactly say that though

^I was paraphrasing which is why I didn't use quotes. Only the last bit of the first paragraph has anything to do with what Sam said.
Seriously tho, Ilori really needs to be given a bloody game or two.

He has the potential to be amazing. But BR just keeps destroying our player's careers and progress.

Remember when he was known for his man managing, the sterling incident? Where did that BR go?
