City lost to Wigan FTW!! man that's why FA cup and League Cup are such great competitions. Anyone can beat anyone on the day..
+1
if city did the treble, all the pep fans would be foaming at the mouth and we would never hear the end of it .. big ups to wigan
+1
They defended their hearts out , thier CB was pressing the ball in City's half, that dedication is great to see and they deserved to get something out of the game
Apparently they had a 2M squad value with 17.5% possession..to beat the $$$$ of City.
MO SALAH CONVERTING LIVERPOOL FANS?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CCRAJHD6mnQ

This is a truly great Video and gives out a true message regardless of religion etc
+1
Haha this is so cool, I doubt they being converted but it's nice to see this sort of love.
+3
A few people were questioning his conversion rate at the start of the season. he’s about to convert an entire fan base to Islam.
+2
Needs to convert Egypt into a world cup winning team
+1
Oh guess who’s coming back to Anfield? Fan favorite Patrice Evra. Should be a warm welcome don’t you think? lmao
+5
lol forgot he even existed. evra's been irrelevant for years now.
+5
Hope Salah makes bits out of him.
+5
Do you guys hate evra more than your average manchester united player because he had the audacity to be racially insulted by suarez?
+1
^yes we're all racists over here, good one sherlock..........
+8

+1
No James, he’s just a smelly baguette eating twat

https://youtu.be/HEwLkCRziD8

Evra the hypocrite
+2
For the record i didnt say anyone was a racist you came up with that on your own and that video does not make him a hypocrite because context matters. I just always found the reaction and attitude of liverpool fans towards evra after the whole suarez incident to be disproportionate and unjustified.
No, He just strikes me as a c**t of a human being.
+2
I have Liverpool friends who are still mad at Evra. Racism has no place in football and Suarez was accused and found guilty of racism. You may not be "racist" but take a look at yourself in the mirror if you're still mad at person of African descent standing up to racism. Do you also forget that Suarez would not shake Evras hand after the incident when Evra was the bigger man and offered his? FFS don't be hypocritical. Evra didn't fabricate anything, Suarez is a mental case and has admitted he has mental issues.

At least Evra eats baguettes and not earlobes or men's chests.
what was Evra's fault that you hate him so much?? Football aside ,rivalry aside , that was really low from Suarez to be fair. Forget football and be human for a while. Don't think the guy's done anything wrong to you guys or anyone else other than getting your star player banned for 8 matches rightfully for making racist remarks. To be racially abused and standing up for it, a crime???

To be honest ive wondered the same myself, and im ashamed i actually forgot that suarez was a racist twat , i think evra is an entertaining character off pitch , i dont get the hate , and if we are being honest , a lot of the evra hate stems mostly from that suarez ban
+3
If i recall correctly Suarez said "Negrito", which was said to not be the same as the N word in South America but is also used for a mate. This is of course up to interpretation since it was said in an angry context but in my opinion Evra had the right to stand up for himself. I still think marking Suarez as a huge racist because of using the word "Negrito" (again not really comparable to calling someone the N word) was a bit over the top from Evra.

I personally think Evra is a twat not for him standing up for himself but for the way he handled later parts of this situation. For example, for the way he ran up to Suarez in a later game to jump up and down in front of him celebrating like a child. After that I wouldn't have shaken his hand either TBH.
+2
@Lkerun, please get your facts right,Suarez snubbed hand first in the pre match, Evra celebrated afterwards.

Evra forgot what Suarez did and forgave him and even offered his hand for a peaceful handshake, but what did Suarez do?? He snubbed him completely. And you reckon, Evra first being called black repetively and later getting humiliated in front of 70-80,000 people would have huge respect for Suarez. Thus the celebration afterwards the snub.

He wasn't celebrating to be a dick ,but rather a celebration of relief, the ultimate get back at you. Probably not the most apporpriate way to celebrate, but you gotta feel for Evra after all that humiliation. Imagine a bullied kid fighting back against the bully.

I am not being biased here as a United fan, but rather very neutral as a normal human being.
@Likerun i dont think you should tell anyone how to respond to racism if youve never been in that position .. given the situation i dont think he was callling evra mate(negrito) obviously tempers were flared and it was most likely said with malice. Its like a white dude arguing with a black dude and calling him n***a because n***a also means friend or mate.
+3
lol.. i remember my first beer.. he's a rival, we hate him, get over it.
rival on the pitch mate, shouldn't be in real life..
yeah y'all are big fans of carra right? wtf is wrong with you guys? he's a former united player that was a star for your club, did you know we also hate ronaldo? where have you been the last... all of the years?? hahaha am i crazy?
and james yes, you implied that we're all racist. don't feign stupidity, i've seen your posts and you're not stupid, you're usually well spoken and a good member of this community, but if you're going to make posts like this on a rival forum.... go dafuq back to your cave.
lol..No hate on carra, he's a good pundit and great defender. I was actually so happy when Liverpool won against Milan in the CL final doing the impossible. Cos that day all rivalry was forgotten and football had won.

Once , the players are done playing for the respective rival clubs , I don't hate them anymore.. I used to so hate Thierry Henry when he used to score goals after goals making any defender in Pl his bitch, but now I just admire him as what a great and truly best striker he was. Even Evra and Suarez have moved on and respect each other now, so why the hate still on Evra??
my friend i swear to you that it was not my intention to imply that anyone is racist, the point i was making is that evra was the victim of something and over the years i had noticed some liverpool fans hate him for it which i find to be quite puzzling maybe would have been better if i had just written "insulted" rather than "racially insulted".
anyway im not gonna continue posting about this years old drama. specially since suarez himself came out and admitted that he used the word and the fact that it could mean something else in his country is irrelevant, he should know better, but why did he need to refer to another man based on the color of his skin during a football match in the first place. anyway im done.
he did kick a fan in the face thats not nice
Guys I was looking for a few things and I think that the media are the ones keeping our defense a bad thing atm without any resent prove and many others are just rolling with it.

Reason being I was looking at the table, Results etc and if you take out City there is f**k all between us and the other big boys and that's with us being a very attacking team. We also have one of the best defensives away records this season and maybe this is why we are climbing up the table and doing well in CL.

The media who are living in the past are writing stories and talking on TV about our defense like if it was months ago or something. We used to be way back in goals against and currently, that is not the case.

All teams have a mistake in them and our problem used to be we had too many and so my overall point is that this has got a lot better and the only reason nobody is actually talking about it is that the media has them filled with s**t.
+1
So whats your point? We were admittedly s**t defensively a while back and we have started doing better and are from from being consistent enough to say that this problem is behind us. And of course the media will pick on it.
We have not started to do better we have been so much better. and Yes, there is a howler now and then.

There are 11 games left and we are on 30 goals against so come that 38 games and if we are less then 50 then good starting point considering a chunk of the goals came in 2 games (City, Spurs).

As for the media not once not once have, they said the defense is doing better if anything they still throw in a boot when there is no need.
Lol kops got a point, we forget how bad we actually was and how much better we are now.
+2
Indeed Sergio take the 9 goals away from the 2 individual games and we only are on 21 against and to be honest I take an individual high lost and many clean sheets over consistent goals going in like our other seasons. It is the main reason why we are so high in the hardest prem season ever and we are also smashing in CL. The forwards are just doing what they always do but now the goals are not going a waste because the defense is doing the job.

And everyone would get off Klopp back if the media started to talk about it because many are blind or too lazy to do their own homework so the talking point always follows the topic on hand from the media.

I jump on this last night after watching so tv presenters talking about Liverpool and it really pissed me off how bad they were talking about us. I could have killed the presenters for talking out of his ass.

And I never posted on this nonsense below either about sacking Klopp. Yes, we get emotional after some games though sacking Klopp would be the shittest decision if we don't win cups. If Klopp can't win a cup here then no one else will so what be the point.

Anyway, guys, we are a lot better in the defense and it is all down to Klopp for 1 or 2 things that I saw him change and the man is getting no credit for it.

http://www.goal.com/en-us/news/philippe-coutinho-valverde-barcelona-barca-eibar-laliga/f1xozak4j1lv128kaxn34yoa2

Oh poor phil
lollllllllll
Typical goal.com news. In fact, Coutinho has been going great recently with great link-ups with Suarez, Messi, Iniesta, and Alba. I am sure he will be better once he clicks with his new teammates.

I know you guys do not miss him now as Liverpool has been in a great form. Though you hate him, you gotta move on. I wish you good luck for the EPL at least getting in top 4 this season. Cheers.
+5
I don't hate him but I enjoy it when his on the bench =)
+8
I loved his 5 years though I hate how he forced a move in January of all times.
+9
Kop4Ever, come on man. He was forcing a move in the summer but Liverpool said no. So he had to force a move in the winter.
+1
Leading up to January there was talk that Liverpool would give him his wish next summer just as we did Suarez though unlike Suarez he demanded January!
+1
Maybe the price tag is putting him under unnecessary pressure or hes not used to not being the center of attention., he will come good for them. He just needs to get used to their organised style of football
Lets move on from this Coutinho saga please. Every player wishes to move to a bigger club and Phil did ok for us till he was here. Dont care about him or any of the news about him doing well/or not doing well at Barca - Barca are the bigger fish who will come for good players at ALL clubs. So the key words are "Dont care about Phil anymore". Enough said.
+1
TAA over Gomez and even for Clyne for me. The lad is going to be seriously world class future captain for sure. Great height, endless energy up and down the pitch and definitely the best crosser of the ball out of the 3 probably one of the best at it in the whole squad.
+1
I also see some great vision in him. He’s always trying to feed our forwards after he recovers the ball. Hope he keeps getting minutes and keeps both feet firmly on the ground. He could be a great player for us.
+1
Clyne is still the better defender.
+2
Wrong thread. Derp
+1
Clyne is the better defender, but i prefer Gomez
Ive seen Gomez switching off and making one bad decision per game..still like him, he is very good for his age. I still think when he bulks up a little he would make a solid CB. I dont see LB/RB as his main role..
+1
Neymar just pulled a Salah like goal against Strasbourg
+1
Haha liked the comparison to be honest, Neymar did a Salah. Sometime back Salah did a Messi, so apparently Neymar did a Messi. Neymar left Barca to come out of Messi's shadow.
+4
Messi is the Argentinian Salah
+4
Messi is so quick he doesn't have a shadow
+2
Key words- "Against Strasbourg". Neymar did f**k all when they played Real.
+2
Yoooooo

Sadar azmoun has posted a pic of himself with Klopp titled ' the best'

I would love it if we buy him
+3
He said this last season

However, I did not feel the time to move was right.

"I would have ended up playing a few games and then spent a great deal of time on the bench as Liverpool were only looking to fill a void for a particular part of their season."

Maybe it's time?
+1
is he any good?
Looks like a proper Klopp style player, would be a fantastic second or third choice.
+1
Looks like we won't be after Allison, £62mil is the asking price.. And tbf we could do alot better with that amount of money.

Roma are joking if they think anyone will pay that much for him. His not no Jan Oblak, heck I would rather get Ralf Fahramnn from Schalke. Underrated goalkeeper, 29 years old but still a beast who's coming good in his prime years.

I don't think the team needs another young keeper, Karius will come good in the future, you just need an experienced goalkeeper.

+1
Exactly, they having a laugh. Allison ain't even tested, and at times has made mistakes similar to mignolet. I would stick to karius or go for a keeper that will actually make a differece
+2
They probably feel robbed with how much they sold Salah for and trying to make it up
+4
They shouldn't feel bad. They wouldn't have unraveled Cengiz Under had Salah been there.
+1
Allison for 62M - LMAO
+1
allison's not worth 20m. no deal.
In the daily fail, we're looking at wanyama too because of fkn course we are (so'ton). that might be the laziest bit of journalism i've seen in a while, but hey.
+2
I think it's fair to say we won't be buying any players that do one job, Klopp likes his midfielders to be good at everything (attacking and defending)
+4
We might actually get him in the end. Because hey - So'ton
