Barca are confident liverpool will find it difficult to reject £89mill for coutino

Lets make them cry by rejecting it =p
Coutinho is worth more to us then any money so even if he wants to go he must be told he has to say for at least another year. VVD is a must so we should keep after him. Keita on the other hand i think we should give up on him and look for someone else.
+1
I think the kieta deal ain't happening, van Dijk looks to be a longed out deal, with the player being banned from training with rest of the squad.

As for Coutinho I don't know why he would want to leave now, everything is going well for him. Also I think klopp is in charge of transfers and finally we won't have our owners dictating deals
If couts, does wanna go and he has his heart set on move to spain. Stopping him forcibly won't help us much. However Fsg should look to get atleast 150 mills from his sale to get reinforcements.
This is the thing, there is no indication saying he wants to go Spain at all. This all came out from barca bidding on him, these so called sources are not legit
+2
If Phil doesn't wanna go, I am pretty sure Jurgen is a kick ass character and all the rumors will be sabotaged.
Thanks Sergio, I was having a mental breakdown reading all this bullshit about Coutinho. You have put my mind at ease.
+1
Very cool article of Klopp's work and insights from last season, very personal and unlike any interview you've read or heard before. Must read:

http://www.goal.com/story/inside-the-managerial-mind-of-liverpools-jurgen-klopp/index.html
So Coutinho is finally leaving then? Im heart broken! It was only a matter of time I guess. When Barca come calling, you know it is about when not if..
-_- Pls nothing has happened yet.

Can we all lose our s**t when an actual legit source comes out, not some random radio presenter in Spain.
+3
Actually many news reported it,dont know its true or not, mayb thats why u guys finally going to get keita..
So I just read a detailed article on the Coutinho s**t, there is a BIG chance that this is just agent fueled speculation with no real substance to it. How can you agree personal terms then agree fee with the club? Isn't that the definition of tapping up? And what are the Barca delegation doing in England when Klopp and the squad is traveling to Germany today? Moreover if Neymar is staying put why on earth would Coutinho go n warm the bench. This might have made sense if Neymar moved to PSG, which frankly I dont see happening. I call BS on this, at this point.
+1
It ain't happening guys I'm telling you, won't make sure sence for it to happen this season. Neymar ain't moving, neither is Coutinho. Next season is a different story though
+1
you guys know your club more than I do, but I don't understand why you guys needed keita, didn't Henderson play in that role really well last season until he got injured?? he was beast in my opinion, keita is a one season wonder right now if he continues to perform like he did last season the chance of sighing him later my be short but honestly again in my opinion only I think VVD should be Liverpool's #1 target at any cost we both play same style of football lol attacking minded but sucks at defending if Liverpool can fix their defense you guys will be running Europe again
I agree, however I think Klopp want's the midfielder who runs the show and controls the middle of the park to protect the defense better. Which I think Hendo does not do very well, someone like the Matic in Chelsea. However, I think securing the defense should be the biggest priority and maybe if we can steel Auba from your guys, we should win something coming campaign (provided we don't lose any key player)
If we keep selling our best players window after window, it is very clear that we are nothing but a business..if you want to play football and win trophies you need to keep your best players. Unless the player wants to leave, we shouldn't be selling. Which I don't think is the case this time around. I think in Jan window Klopp told Coutinho you go there be just another player, you stay here they will build you a statue. I dont see why that should change, unless the club acts like a business and cash in for profit..
+1
We ain't selling him
+2
Doesnt look likely, mate.
Everyday I been checking the transfer news and everyday it's the same sh!t. No facts or anything official, but instead some claim from some random person. Considering the EPL and UCL are starting in a couple of weeks we should be finalizing deals for the players we are after or going for other targets. The more this drags out the more it hurts us.
+3
It's hard to finalize deals when you're ready to complete the deal and the other party isn't. :/
+2
Nope, instead we're closing to finalising Coutinho's transfer to Barcelona. Well played FSG!!
I find it odd how teams like Chelsea and City ( yes I know they are money bsgs) can get a deal done for multiple players, but here we are sweating over VVD and Keita for almost 2 months now. If we offer the the right money and the clubs don't want to sell we should have moved on to other options a long time ago. The way I see it the problem is with us and not the selling club. We either have horrible negotiaters or we are obsessed with getting these players. My fear is that we won't get the key players on time to help us in the CL qualifications. Even though we have a decent team right now we could end up playing a team like Ajax and CSK Moscow. Teams like this are no walk in the park. They challenged manure last season in Europa League. Having more quality will help our chances of qualifying.

PS: Chelsea did well in the window. Instead of VVD and dealing with Southampton they got a great defender like Rudiger for a great price.
We are too obsessed with VVD. Yes he is a great player, but there are other centerbacks in the market who are very good and could fit in our team. Why haven't we looked at De Vrij for example? He would be cheaper than VVD, and look Chelsea got Rudiger for a lot less than VVD. Even Man U got Lindelof, not bothering with Southamptons bs.
Rudiger is a gamble , VVD the better player but the price tag is too high
Rudiger will come good. Chelsea have nothing to worry about with him.
If VVD does come, he'll be riding out of Southampton like this:

and as mentioned before, Henderson will be pictured driving after his last statement below lol

Henderson: Liverpool don't need any new signings...

Link: http://www.espnfc.com/liverpool/story/3164668/liverpool-squad-has-plenty-of-quality-even-with-no-more-arrivals-henderson

You shut up...you shut your mouth Henderson...haha :P We don't need to hear that garbage right now. You get in your car, and drive over to Southampton and be there to pick up VVD. Even if that means you end preseason tour early. That's what you get.
+4
ofcourse he would say that he is proteecting his job lmao.
+4
he knows if keita comes in, his position will be at risk of being compromised

This is what they should be doing with Liverpool money!
They already put enough in their own pockets during the years.
It's about time us fans get to celebrate something.
