I think Gerrard needs to be rested for Stoke game. We need to use Lucas there and put Hendo and Can in front of him. Then Coutinho, Lambert and Sterling. At the back I'd go with Moreno, Kolo, Skrtel, Manquillo.
+4
Yeah, I think Gerrard should be rested too.
ALSO Mignolet should be dropped to the bench and Jones should be given a chance.

I'd go with
-Lallana-Lambert-Sterling-
------Coutinho-Can------
----------Lucas---------
-Moreno-Skrtel-Kolo-Manq-
----------Jones----------

edit: forgot to mention, I honestly think that Henderson has had a dip in form since the Tottenham match. :/

So for the people that were around during the Champions League clash on Wednesday, there was a user named Nikita (with a few numbers as well I think?) on here that posted a link to a HD stream that was AMAZING. Didn't freeze once or skip. If you see this Nikita or anyone else that remembers the site does that particular user on Ustream do all the Liverpool matches? I'm sick of using shitty streams on my computer!
+1
We need to sell players I feel, before I thought we needed players. Why am I so confused. Go Liverpool beat stoke shity.
+1
Transfer window is just around the corner and a few players will be going!

Lucas
Kolo
Borini

Problem is that i think we need to keep them!
+2
We need to keep Kolo and Lucas, we can afford to sell Borini but Kolo is a good leader at the back and Lucas can protect the back 4 even if he is fouling people.
+4
Have you seen our strikers? I don't think they can afford to sell Borini either. BR needs to start using him more.
+1
Lucas should be playing every game he can until we revive that squad morale. He is by far the best player in his position. He passes the ball around well, he can defend unlike what I've seen from gerrard and I think he has been hugely underrated by the fans and by the managers at his time at liverpool (except beloved rafa) .

Bieng a long time lucas fan I can only be proud that I had kept faith in him for so long, this is because alot of fans including now the manager has lost faith in him but I see him still having love for the club.

I know a lot of you feel the same

Yes, right now we need a stable defence and protection. If we are to not score goals we need to be able to at leaste keep games close.
Against stoke. I expect coutinho, lallana, lovren to come in. Moreno had a good start but he is really struggling. He needs to start if he is supposed to be our future #1 lb. I think mignolet will start again even though there were suggestions that brendan might drop him. Allen is injury prone and i think now is a good time to give him a breather before he burns out and picks up a stupid injury. Gerrard same he looked tired after the game.

--------------------Mignolet-------------------------
Johnson----Skrtel-----Lovren----Moreno--------
---------------------Can/Lucas-------------------------------
--------Hendo-----------------Lallana-------------
-----Sterling---------Lambert------------Coutinho--------------
+1
Brendan needs a solid performance, intensity and fight from the team especially at anfield so squad rotation might just go out the window and he might just go with the same team that played against ludogrets. Again rewarding players on merit. I doubt it though coutinho and lallana have been our best midfielders this season so far. Especially lallana who has good link up play with lambert has to start imo.
+1
I think its best to rest toure i m not sure if he can cope physically with that short rest plus i m certain he is a guaranteed starter against basel.
+1
Good luck with Valdes!
He is not coming to liverpool. He has gone back to spain. I wouldnt be surprised if he joins david moyes team.
Excuse me I'm lost is this the peanut gallery
Random? Wasn't valdez like old news
He left us without signing a contract. Thought you guys need a GK. Valdes used to be WC too so K4E might be glad if you get him. You won't have too much competition for him unless Monaco jumps in.
Ok... My pistol is back in my holster
Are we capable of beating Stoke? The fragility of this team is slightly EMBARASSING.

Stoke will try and frustrate us and put as many deep balls into our penalty box for one of our defenders to muff it up. If we can't win against Stoke, it's going to be a loooong season for us.
From the way we are playing. I dont see anything other than a draw or a stoke win if i m being honest. But i m hoping ludogrets away was a catalyst for us to start grinding out wins. Problem is we dont have a settled back 4 and a settled 11 that can be relied upon atm. We are not going to win games if we can't keep clean sheets it is as simple as that.
We will win
Gerrard should be rested against stoke. At 34 we can't expect him to play 3 games a week, not because he's old or something but because we need freshness in the team. When finally in years we have a proper squad with lots of mids and attacking mids, Gerrard deserves a rest!!
Something like this could be put up

Mignolet
Manquillo Toure Skrtel/Lovren Moreno
Lucas
Henderson Coutinho
Sterling Lambert Lallana

or

Mignolet
Manquillo Toure Skrtel/Lovren Moreno
Lucas
Can Henderson
Coutinho
Sterling Lambert
+2
Lucas has been doing well for you guys lately. Should start the game and you guts have Allen or Emre who can come off the bench.
+1
Like the first group. Solid team with some attacking intent.
+2
Mignolet
Manquillo Toure Lovren Moreno
Lucas
Henderson Can
Coutinho Lambert Lallana

Sub: Jones, Skrtel, Johnson, Allen, Gerrard, Markovic, Borini

Borini --> Lambert
Allen --> Coutinho
Johnson --> Manquillo
+1
I liked the idea of Lucas and Allen playing in front of our defence. May be we can have Emre Can/Hendo and Lucas/Allen there. Also, i liked SG up top..may be we can have him and Coutinho in rotation.
+4
That's what i do also.
