FACT We lose to palace tomorrow and I'm pretty sure BR will be gonne! Hope it doesn't happen as I do like BR.
The only real negative thing that i hate about Rodgers is that he sees us as a small club. I am sorry I know how that sounds guys.

Let me explain:

Louis van Gaal goes to the scum without any CL football and the first thing he thinks is that they are a big club so i got to get big players.
Then he fails on getting some. But also ended up with some

Every big manager that goes to a big club always buys big players for the big club.

Rodgers on the other hand comes here and buys rubbish from the smaller clubs. He buys players like what he would do at Swansea or what managers do normally at smaller clubs. If he really wanted to achieve here and really thought anything about us he would not stop until he got some players that matched our club. I know we have fallen for a bit. But for the love of god we are not Swansea or anything equivalent to them.

You and i can make a excuse that his hands are tied or whatever.
But if that is the case he should grow a pair and stand up to them like what all top managers do. Just imagine he had to go through what Rafa did.

Come this January and if there is not one top star in the basket there be hell to pay!
+3
You blame BR but the real question is which "big players" would come to Liverpool (no disrespect intended) when they have the choices between winning clubs (bayern, barca) or rich clubs (city, chelsea) or global branding clubs (real, MU)?

Imo what Liverpool needs first is to build a reputation of a serious challenger, along with Arsenal, Dortmund, Atletico and Juventus, by winning consistently with tight budgets and unearthed gems/quality tier-2 players, rather than by pursuing in vain the tier-1 "big players", which would be jumping the gun.
In this regard what BR tried to do last summer is understandable. It just doesn't work out yet, much like Spurs last season.
Drde

We are in the Epl where it is way more competitive then them other leagues.
so you don't have the luxury of moving at a slow pace. You be left behind.
Ask Louis van Gaal why did he go for proven stars instead of building this new Man U era

Another point Manc i am not taking about getting messi.
There is a lot of quality players out there that would wan't to come. Matter of fact there are many. We just have to throw some money in their direction like what ye did and every other top club does. You will fail on some. But will get others

It's all about the Money Kid

You say no disrespect intended! But then basically you say we are not good enough to get quality.

Back to your page Manc
I agree the game is about money nowadays but it is also about the willingness of the player to come to a club or not. And there is always a club out there nowadays with one better factor than Liverpool (winning team, cash or brand). So in the end you can not challenge those clubs head-on "a la PSG" anymore.

Look at what Dortmund, Atletico and even Soton do for the last few seasons and I think that is the better way forwards for Liverpool.
+2
Dortmund has many stars and only had 1 team to worry about

Atletico had many stars : Courtois, Turan, Coke, Costa etc

Soton are consistent but will fall when everyone finds their feet.

What Suarez did to our team and that was only one real star!

We need 2 stars in this team and then we are good to go.
Some one that gives everyone a lift in trainning and gets the bubbles flowing for the fans.

You forgot that at those clubs none of the now big players had been bought in as such. They have all been there as prospects or just good players. They are now stars because of the team and the manager.
Even Suarez was not a star when coming to Liverpool. He became one. If he was already a star I doubt he would have come to Liverpool. Once he really became one he left though so I don't think the buying big plan is as good/easy as it sounds.
Player development and team building is certainly more important. If BR fails in those categories then I would say yes, sack him but I don't think it is the case.
''I doubt he would have come to Liverpool'' taking the piss now!

Manc The only time i seen stars coming to ye is when ye threw the lotto at them!

BTW we already have one of the best youth systems in the country and the average age of our squad speaks for Itself. So i don't know what your talking about and has nothing to do with Rodger being sacked! It was about getting in one or two stars for a change. Give the team the balance it needs

Anyway End of conversation.
Man U v Arsenal: 2 goals, 1 shot on target.

Such a booooring match. Utd had the bus parked most of the time
I enjoyed it until it went pear shaped!
I thought some of Arsenal passing was enjoyable.
If we get Berhinho I think I will stop watching Liverpool games. I am just tired of us over paying and collecting English players from relegation and mud table teams.
+1
Buying average young players is FSG's policy, so basically we have no choice.

Anyone got Rodgers Palace presser?
Here you go Dan

Cmon reds we got a takes this one tomorrow. We've been knocked down but we have to dust are shoulders off and win this game. Play a strong and confident game, retain possession a put forward meaningful strikes. Looking for Gerard to have a big game tomorrow.
+1
Are Arsenal scared to beat Utd? My god, haven't beat them in 3 years and you would've thought today was a clear chance to do that! Utd look average at best currently.
We better win 2morrow! It's Really a must win.
It's lick ass Rooney time by Sky Sports.
How funny is it Utd fans talk about how much they hate scousers and the captain of there club is a scouser. haha f*****g hypocrite bellends
