If we are in for a GK, why not move heaven and earth for Cech.

He will give us solid four or five years. Although JM won't sell to us, but why not show some intent.

With no fault of his, i have lesser faith in Brad Jones, that SM.

Show some balls, FSG. Pls..pls..
he sold us their 2 time player of the season, why not sell cech to you guys?
Ladies and gentiles.. I now present you, The 2014 FALLON D’FLOOR!

For me:

1.) Adryan (Leeds vs Derby) wins it.

2.) Arjen Robben (Netherlands vs Mexico) 2nd

3.) Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid vs Celta Vigo) 3rd
+2
Gonzalez (what a c**t)

Adryan

Robben
+1
What about the guy who dived last weekend for Sunderland? Apparently there was absolutely no contact similar to the Gary Cahill dive.
For me:
1. Gonzalez
2. Ronaldo
3. Adryan

FIFA should really introduce retrospective ban for divers. Atleast in big leagues and WC

All those happy with the performance , Arsenal can finish this defense off in 10 mins or so. I hope we play sakho and Kolo at cb.
+7
You're overestimating Arsenal, they're not having a great season by any means and don't have the best defence either. We can exploit this very well if we play our cards right. No need to be so negative dude, have some confidence in the squad we're coming off a good performance :)
+5
Bournemouth is a championship team and they had 2 clear chances to put the ball in the net. If that was Sanchez he definitely would not have missed.
I'm sure we'll concede but maybe we can score too :)
https://twitter.com/BBCSporf/status/545337754771812352 - Liverpool beat Bournemouth...but then draw out Chelsea in the next round.

Face of disappointment lol
There's a slight Hendo Hop after the 2nd goal (Markovic's)!

BUY US! PLEASE BUY US!
Supposedly it's going to be Tottenham, but really I don't think it's likely to happen. Here's the link anyway:

http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/qatari-government-linked-with-1billion-takeover-of-tottenham-9930307.html

But yeah as it says in the article you linked it isn't legally allowed for one owner to take two clubs into a UEFA competition so I don't know how they'll get around that given they already own PSG.
I guess they don't have any European plans for Spurs ;-)

+5
Lallana is probably one of the most gifted technicians I have ever seen on the ball, I still don't know which foot is his domifnant one. Midfielders had a field day in that game, Coutinho, Sterling, Lallana, Markovic were all outstanding.
+4
We have a young squad with a lot of potential. If Rodgers can figure out the defensive issues we will be ok. I believe in him
+3
^^And keep aside his ego and give chances to players who are passionate and want to play for the club aka Borini and Sakho!
+4
Sakho is way better than Lovren on current form..I always said we have enough quality in the squad. With more confidence we can turn things around..Sterling be our new Suarez, come on lads!!
+3
@Skorm123 Lallana is a great player, he plays the game the modern European way- wich is great. However having said that you couldn't have watched much football to come to the conclusion that he's "probably one of the most gifted technicians" you've ever seen.

Come on, what about Xavi, Iniesta, Scholes, Pirlo, Schweinsteiger, Kroos, Modric, Koke, Messi and CR7? And those are only the players of the recent generation there're still all time greats like Maradona, Zidan, Cryuff, B.Charlton, Zico, Best, Nedvěd, Paul Gascoigne ect.

Surly you can' think Lallana is on the same level as any of the players I mentioned above, past or present?
Lallana IMO may not match those names in terms of ability, but on the ball he's as good as any, his feet are silky smooth and his touches are perfect.
Let me clarify I said one of the best, not the best. I think your confused about my statement. Honestly, most of the namesyou mention I've only watched youtube videos of so I can't judgetheir capabilities. I only really follow the Epl consistently and by consistently I mean I watch every match. I very much doubt you watched a full match of Bobby Charlton and I assume you're basing it on his status as a united legend. I on the other hand base my opinions onwhat I've personally seen consistently and place Lallana sly ball skills as one of the best I've had the pleasure of seeing. Is that so wrong?
+1
@Skorm123 I have actually seen a few "FULL" 90 min matches of Sir B.Charlton. I've seen the '68 European cup final, Benfica vs Man Utd, The 66 World cup final, England vs W.Germany, and the 1970 World Cup match between England and Brazil (Bobby moore's tackle on pele, and Gordon Banks famous save from Pele). I've also seen extended highlights of Benfica vs Manchester united 1966. Of course I saw all these matches as replays.

I was young at the time but I clearly remember watching players like Maradona and Ruud Gullit when they where in their prime. However I was old enough to recognize the brilliance of players like Zidan, Ronaldo (R9), Ronaldiniho, Scholes, Pirlo, Nedved, Xavi, Iniesta, CR7, Messi, L.Figo, Giggs, T.Henry and many others. And before you ask I have seen several LIVE full 90 min matches with involving all the players I mentioned in this paragraph. Not replays or highlights, but LIVE full matches.

I used to follow Seri-A religiously in the 90's, now I catch up with La Liga more, however even if you only watch the EPL all you have to do is watch a world cup, European Cup, UCL to see there are clearly players out there even now that are beyond what Lallana may ever reach. That's not to say he's a bad player- 'cause I think he's great, it's just that there are and have been so many better players than him- technically- and to not see that is quite astounding really.

Have you ever seen a Barcelona, Real Madrid, Bayern match? I know you hate Utd, but did you ever watch Scholes in play? Hell even Suarez has pulled out greater technical feats than Lallana in recent years. Just saying.
+1
Have to say I love the lineup BR put out against Bournemouth. Thought Markovic, Coutinho, Sterling, and Lalhana all played well. Love what Sterling gives the team up top in absence of Sturridge. Think Markovic is finally coming good.

Gerrard Lucas should be playing together more until the defense is more solid. Three at the back seems to be working. Having Skrtel sit deep covers for Toure's lack of speed and for Lovren's over aggressiveness well. It seems to be working.

Very encouraging match.
+1
He went all out vs a Championship side, even though they number it tells u that he is feeling the pressure
^At this pint I don't disagree with the decision. He's trying to find a lineup that works. He hasn't found one for almost three months so he took this match as an opportunity to try another group and see how they gel. It looked good, I'm thinking there might be a similar one next EPL match.
+1
I think he knows where he wants to play them, but some of the players haven't adapted to his system as of yet. Probably, one of the reasons why Can hasn't played so often despite his huge potential as Yaya Toure/Khedira type player. Can is still building his stamina up to play in relentless league like the EPL. He has good on-the-ball technique, but his low stamina makes other players more favorable in the CM(box to box) role. Once Can works on his off-the-ball technique and stamina, he will be a sure starter. BR doesn't start him mainly to put the spotlight off of him and shield him from criticism. I think BR knew that he would have a challenge on his hands when he didn't get Sanchez and none of the WC players wanted to come and hence he decided to shield the new players from criticism and let them slowly integrate into the team. Markovic is a prime example of this, he is starting to live up to his price tag.
One good result with 3 at the back at it seems to work? The goal that we conceded was all due to 3 at the back which leaves a lot of space in the region that full backs usually occupy, other better teams can easily exploit that. Unless you are very much used to 3 at the back and the defenders are confident and solid then 3 at the back can be your staple formation otherwise not.
I think 3 at the back works well for us since Marko tracks back along the wing and Lallana does that on his side. It's pretty much 5 at the back once we go into defense mode. The goal should have really been saved, apparently it somehow went under Brad Jones.
3 back will not work against arsenal for sure.
+1
Against arsenal it ll be a very bad idea.....Too much space for wingers, Sanchez will rip us apart
+2
4 at the back against arsenal.

-Manquillo--Toure--Sakho--Moreno--
