Martinez has been confirmed as manager on a four year contract.
He wasn't my first choice but I'm going to support him nonetheless, maybe he can bring with him Callum McManaman.
Looking forward to the new season!! IMWT!! COYB!!

Martinez for your job? I like the match. He reminds me of a younger Moyes, the way he's brilliant with what he has to work with. And it not like Wigan gave him a lot to work with anyways.

thoughts? TBH I'd have though Perreira would have been the appointment to take you guys to the next level, but I think Martinez can do well as well.

Apparently, the list has been whittled down to three: Roberto Martinez; Vitor Pereira; and Ralf Rangnick.

Of the three, I think I would prefer Pereira over Rangnick, and Rangnick over Martinez. He has had similar transfer funds to Everton maybe a bit less and they were fighting relegation where as we have been in the top 7 every season he has been at Wigan, and now they have been relegated.
So what I am saying is that for me, Martinez is not my favorite. He hasn't taken them on to that next step, which is why I would prefer Pereira of Rangnick.

But if Martinez is appointed the manager, I will obviously boycott the games!!
I kid, I kid, I will definitely support him haha!

I don't think he is that bad, but signings like Perreira and Rangnick would take the club forward, Martinez seems like someone who would be content with 10 consecutive seasons finishing 10th.
Both Mirallas and Fellaini on the scoresheet for Belgium against the USA, Mirallas with a beauty:

The only problem I had with the old one was the inaccuracy of the blue. Other than that, it really only needed minor tweaking. Either way, they messed up.
Ah yes....another season we finished above Liverpool. But they arent the real enemies. They are our neighbours. I would like to see us do better than the london clubs. Everton and Liverpool to finish above Arsenal next season!! But we need a good striker and a great manager now.
Been a season of What If for me.
Though as long as we keep Baines and Felli and bring in a better striker (been rumours of Soldado from Valencia though probably too expensive), we are in good shape for next season and someone that will let Felli play further back (preferably Barkley as no need for money and hopefully finally step up and cement a place and show how good he is).
Thoughts??

Hey Everton fans, I along with a few other United fans would like to do an Everton themed podcast episode in the near future if possible. We don't do arguments or make fun of you, but simply want a way to connect with the Everton fan chosen. We gain insight on the season so far, club issues/concers that surround the club, and etc.
Also I know David Moyes has left Everton for United to become the new manager there, so possible replacement ideas and reactions to the appointment would be a great deal of info for us to use on the show. We'd love to hear from some one on how they feel about the whole situation.
If anyone is interested, just leave a message on my wall or Meebo me. Thanks in advance, it should be a lot of fun.

Jokes aside I think this could turn out very well especially if we can swoop into a relegated Wigan side and pick up some talents, perhaps Kone for starters...
