Sarri questions mentality

Hazard next interview talks about Real Madrid

Lol
why is sarri so sure that his sarri ball would make chelsea win the league in the future. Managers of big clubs that have carried their unique styles over to new clubs at least have the trophies to back up
pep -tiki-taka
klopp - geggenpressing
mourinho- ultra-defense
etc
Klopp didn't win any trophies for 3 and 1/2 years at Liverpool but look at them now, could be one of the most dominant team to win the pl

we are too spoiled with managers since Roman fires them as he likes, we need to give our managers time

top 4 is the aim this season
Sarri's style is similar to Pep, its his first season it will take time for us to adjust, in all the games we've lost (apart from Spurs and Arsenal) we had more than enough chances to win the game, we don't have goalscorers
klopp won two league titles with Dortmund. Pep has spend s**t load of money to make the style work for city and he might not even win the league. We wouldnt buy the kind of players pep was given nor spend that amount of money or we could have simply kept conte ad thrown money for him. Sarri ball is all fine and good but being stupidly stubborn to adapt in premier league gets you nowhere
+1
the same thing was said about Pep and at one point they were struggling for top 4 and next season they win the league in most dominant way,

all top managers are stubborn, its what works for them, love but Conte didn't change anything when things went wrong, he didn't try anything new kept the same, last season we were 2nd after 19 games and we finished 5th after 38 games, he was stubborn and played the same team that didn't win anything, Mourinho 15/16 didn't change anything

why bring up the fact Sarri didn't win a trophy?, he pushed Juve to the max with an inferior squad in a one sided league. Juventus have won like the last 6 or 7 Seria A straight and his biggest threat was playing for a rival. that's like Sarri saying he hasn't beaten Pep before the Chelsea vs City

this is the same team that got our asses whopped by the likes of Bournemouth, Waterford and Newcastle,
SarriBall is fine, our squad needs time and we need to back the manager, signing Higuain is a way of solving one of the problem
you think i am sayign fire sarri or something. but he keeps wanting to play possession over and over again, use the same 11 no matter who drops form and now he is crying about players no being able to manage?
no man, i understand where you're coming from and i do understand and would like change as well, want to see Emerson, RLC, Cho and Ampodu to break into the team , our team is predictable but we've been here before with Conte and Mourinho, Sarri is stubborn but so are many top managers, i hope he will drop underperforming players but i don't expect him too

i want us to back the manager
actually, according to mourinho, his philosophy is "it depends."
You guys probably have the worst squad out of the top 6. What can you expect? Give Sarri a couple of transfer windows at least.

As for Morata, do you guys remember me saying it's not a good idea and then you guys attacking me for it? Lol I'm a big Spain fan and follow every young Spanish player and I told you guys his stats are misleading.
I think we have a better squad than Arsenal. The only difference is Arsenal have Laca and Auba.
Damn Cho rejected the new contract

Don't blame him at All, he's better than Willian but can't start over him and Bayern offer him 1st team football
+2
Lol Callum Hudson odoi for slow ppl like myself.
+1
^ haha it took me a while to understand it as well
Goodbye Morata! Welcome Higuaín!
As long as he won't fall over like Morata the better

Haha
Higuain is an awesome addition. Just don't play him in any finals lol
+1
Derby signed Ashley Cole

good luck Ashley Cole

Lampard also tried to sign JT in the summer haha, old reunion at Derby
+3
An oldie but a goodie lol
I wouldn't mind playing him over Alonso even at this age. A true legend. He is one LB who I feel can be compared with Roberto Carlos or Maldini.
+2
Sarri: "This defeat was due to our mentality, more than anything else. This is something I can't accept. This group of players are extremely difficult to motivate."

Its not the first time. We have seen this when Jose, Conte were in charge too. We need proper leaders. Someone who can tell players to get your sh*t together. I am not sure about Azpi being a great leader.
i love Azpi but imo our leader is DL, regardless of how he plays he motivates the team to do better, it's the reason Conte had success in 16/17 season, we need aggressive players ( with exception to the CB's) our team is too nice and opposition takes advantage of that

i don't know why Sarri said mentality when he plays the same team over and over and will do so, our team is easy to predict and is easy to come up with a plan, Sarri needs a solution when Jorginho gets man marked, our team has no outlet

in hindsight problems have arise, but we need to back the manager
imo we need to play Ampodu dude is a beast for a 18 year old and does bring the physical element the team needs at time
+1
Your leaders of the past were too good: John Terry, Frank Lampard, Didier Drogba. We at Barça are facing the same since Puyol left, then Xavi, then this summer Iniesta.

We're just being kept at the top by the sheer ability of Messi.
+1
Ampadu looks like future captain.
hard to motivate players that have more trophies than you, and are in a fight for top 4 and not the title.
Sarri so pissed off that he didn't want to answer in English

the wheels are off, hopefully the players will use this the right way
He was right though, way too many mistakes at the start of the match. That being said Sarri needs to play Kante in his preffered position since he is the best at it...
+1
i disagree with Jorginho/Kante, our attack basically starts with Jorginho and when he is marked out we have no idea or tactic to counter, it's why there was a lot of side passes (Mourinho, Poch, and Emery used this and got the results and Sarri hasn't gotten anything to have a plan B)

of course Kante is Kante but Jorginho puts himself in a lot of dangerous position to transition the play which never gets picked out, and Kante has improved in RCM position, selling Cesc and not having a replacement straight away was a dumb move by the board
Jose's analysis is spot
Chelsea aren't aggressive and easy to contain

+2
stop Jorginho, the entire team doesn't know what to do, the only time we did something unpredictable was when DL picked out Pedro with a glorious ball and we attack on the left with a winger who has 3 goals and a LB who has the worst crossing and defensive abilities in the top 6
we called back Baba, who is good going forward and is a good crosser, Kova is great player but his offensive output is below poor and Barkley is not good enough, need RLC back or a goalscoring CAM
i hope we can play this team vs Spurs
Kepa
Azpi Rudi DL Emerson
Kante Jorginho Kova ( RLC when he's fit)
Odoi Giroud Hazard
Marcos Alonso v Arsenal

0/8 Crosses

18/19 PL

7/72 (8%) Crosses

he has been poor for a while
+3
only thing he had to do early in the season was pass the ball to Hazard now he crosses and goes for throw ins
same applies to Azpi as good as he is defensively, his attacking output is not good
+1
I agree that Marcos has been poor. However, I think he's playing pretty much at the same level he always has. What's different?

He's hit the post 5 or 6 times this season. If we were sitting here and he got those goals we would be saying the same thing as last season:

"Marcos has his liabilities and shortcomings, but his end product is just too damn valuable! He has more goals than most forwards in the league!"
+2
I agree with that but last season as a wing back he was decent but as a LB he is not productive and defensively not good, we need a LB who can make the over lapsing rune
