So so good...
http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11095/10989780/arjen-robben-reflects-on-time-at-chelsea-in-letter-to-his-16-year-old-self
My two cents on this situation....

Remember when Mata went to United, media were like our two time player of the year was discarded to a rival etc. how it will benefit United etc.

Once he wasn't the player the media wanted him to be for United, they stopped talking about him, same will probably happen to Matic if he plays like he has for us for the past two seasons.

If he does well, fair play, the board will seem like jack-asses, more so then they already do for leaving us in this s**t storm.

Couple wins, couple signings will change the environment completely. The least the board and Conte (for his handling of the Costa situation) owe us fans.
+1
Matic had that new signing momentum when we signed him too. Keeping that form up is an entirely different matter though. If we get a better CM (SERGIO ROBERTOOO) all shall be well
We as a club have made some really silly decisions. Thankfully enough, we have 2 weeks to fix it. Hoping for the best.
Well said. We can only truly tell who the real winner is in the Matic transfer at the end of the season.

Just to add my 2 cents the loss last weekend cannot be attributed to our transfer decisions. There was no way new signings would have started that game especially Burnley at home where we didn't have need to fear. It was a freak result so I don't get why the board is being blamed for it.

Judging by how we played I have no fear we will be challenging for titles this season and if the press want to write us off it's their call they are not clairvoyant.
Matic is a very good signing for United. He is the perfect replacement for Carrick, for the 4-3-3 variant Jose is trying to implement there.

And, as well as Matic tried to fit in the 3-4-3, he is simply not a B2B, dynamic, midfielder. So both, us, and United, have got a player that is more suited to our respective systems.

The only issue I have with this transfer, is selling him before replacing him with a squad player. This transfer has already cost us 3 points.
The more i watch the highlights of the burnley game, the more im not at all worried.
What a performance from Morata actually. We showed the same determination from last season, when we were behind many times and came back to get the points.
With 10 or 11 men we would have won it, no doubt in my mind.

And just to point out something a bit obvious - last season we had 30 wins, a club and league record. So dont be dissapointed about a few more losses/draws this season, we are playing in Europe, so there will be many more great Chelsea games to see anyway right?

Remind yourselves how both Manchester clubs started last season, vs how they ended it. Remind ourselves how we lost a few in the beginning and still went on the greatest run ever!

Have faith in our players and trust in the Don and keep the flag flying high my brothers.

True Morata was great...changed the game...i think he can link up well with hazard nd pedro

Lucas Piazon has suffered a broken leg in Fulham's recent game. As the Fulham manager protested the tackle, he was told by one of the refs, "This is English football. It is legal."

#Neanderthals
Hazard and Bakayoko back in full training.
At last some good news .
Fantastic news though Hazard is not ready to play going by reports I think Bakayoko has an outside chance of playing on Sunday.
Rumors claim Sergi Roberto is unhappy at Barca and wants to leave. Can't blame him, they got Paulinho lmfao.

He has a 40m euro release clause, which a lot of teams will probably meet. I really hope we get this guy! If we get him and Ox, we'll be stronger than last season on paper at least
don't know much about him...but hes 80 rated on fifa...should be a decent signing if we pull it off
i know that he dribbled past 3 or 4 Real Madrid players
Don't let FIFA rates make any assumptions about him lol he has pace, vision, passing, and can defend. He is one of those players that can play anywhere on the field for you and he will give you everything he has.

His original Postion is Center Mid, and he's very good at it, but he has been playing right back for us the past year and he did an amazing job. I'm sure if he joins you guys he will help you guys out a lot
If Chelsea is looking for a wing-back, Ox is your man. Not to mention he can play LWB as well. Sergi Roberto is a great player but he works in a system that suits his style, Conte style especially in MF is looking for defensively strong players, don't see how Sergi could displace Kante/Bakayoko. He does more in defense than Cesc would but again, I don't see him starting and if his leaving Barca's bench, I doubt he wants to be in Chelsea's bench. Although I gotta say, he is an exciting player to watch in MF when his given the freedom to do his stuff.
He's terrible. Don't get him.
+1
yeah Conte wanted Ox - But Arsenal arent gonna sell him.
Jeroen confirmed his quality with poorly disguised sarcasm and ulterior motives. GET HIM! :P

@Moe - He will DEFINITELY start at RB. And since we were planning on easing Baka into the team (before Matic got sold) he can probably even start at CM. Only thing is Juve offer the same thing. Hopefully Conte, London and money sway him over to us. Maybe give them a discounted price of ONLY £200m for Hazard!
Whats with United fans trying to making Conte the criminal who banishing Matic and Costa who both were main Chelsea won 2 title.

They will do anything and everything to justify Matic and his price tag. Like they did all season for Pogab last year. which is fair because even we would do that for our players.

All some Chelsea fans said is he is not someone i would die to see let go for the price. Because we have seen him decline over two seasons.

Whats more shameful is some of our own fans calling Chelsea fans "whining butt hurt cry baby's " for some free likes?lol

Seriously request to some Chelsea fans. If you dont know the full story about why Costa and Matic left Chelsea better dont join the bandwagon which is over exited after a good opening day win in half a decade to make some unauthentic remarks on our manager who did a remarkable job working with morons like Costa for full season and won title.

If Costa was the only reason Chelsea won PL last season not Conte , Kante , Hazard or entire team work. Then Costa would not lead us to 10th place season before to get Jose sacked.

1. Costa has accepted he told Conte as soon as he joined the he wants to leave and join AM. Chelsea dint sell him because we could not find replacement last seaosn.

2. January in middle of season Costa and his agent told club they want to leave. It was confirmed by Conte again couple weeks ago.

So please hold your horses because jumping some bandwagon for free likes. If not there wont be any different btw you guys and Costa who is trying to play innocent card to find a way out.

Matic left because he dint agree to sign a extension and made it clear he wanted to leave. So the club made him train alone untill they could find a club to sell him. Finally only united agreed to meet the 40m asking price and he was sold to united.

Conte accepted its a big lose and he wished to keep Matic if possible. And even the club legend Lampard mentioned that Chelsea would not sell him to rival unless the players literally forced for a move.

If united fans think he is signing of the season and best DM in the world. So be it. Lets stop arguing with them and stop explaining them why many would not die to let him go for such a big money. Let them win title if they can. lol! Its not like only Chelsea should keep wining league every year. We have 6 -8 top teams spending season after season to improve and better us.

But atleast dont go to other forums and make lose talks about Club and manager if you dont know the full Information. if you guys really love Costa and Matic to that extent go follow them to the clubs they want to go.

"Costa is best in the world we should keep him".
Even a 10 year old kid will know its not possible to keep a person who does not want to stay.

"Matic is best DM in the world we should not sell him to rivals"
We sold our two time player of the season Mata , legend Cech to Arsenal before. This only shows how club is willing to respect players decision and let them go where they want without caring about how it would impact them. As long as we get fair price nothing matters. If not Matic , Mata or Cech they would sign someone else and improve anyways.

I'm expecting a tough season with lot of new faces. So, I'm confident bandwagoners will come alive every game to make more allegations on Conte and club....Its better to stay away from such negativity and enjoy the game. I will see you guys once in a while...hopefully we can trun around from all the negative and have a good season.

Cheers

why you got to say "united fans" when it was only person on our page who even blamed Conte
+2
- Lol bro whats with you nd unit€d fans...they are CLEARLY baiting you...and you keep falling for it

-And stop putting words in other peoples mouths to justify ur agenda...you do this very often lol

-If i can make a suggestion to you, don't visit their forum? Then all will be sweet

@bear thats exactly what i meant by my second point lol

United fans as in other places not just here on Footy. You have to understand the rant here is that this is a very difficult period for us and literally wherever we turn we see posts or comments bashing us about Costa and Matic without actually knowing the truth.

This post is more for Chelsea fans than United fans. Start cheering for the team and get through this together and stop complaining how our board has screwed up the transfer cause the latter one is not helping anyone and we can't do anything about it. Best we can do is to get behind the team.
+4
Bear - "This post is more for Chelsea fans than United fans." I hope this answers your point. I have clearly said United fans have every right talk what they want.

Anyways, Its sick how people blame club and Conte for Costa and Matic situation. especially Chelsea fans who know what it happened to them.

Maybe i showed some frustration on united fans because of anger.I'm sorry about that...but basically its just our own fans talk too much negative about club when just won two PL titles in last 3 years. I just hope Conte to can somehow turn around this negative converge into trophies and shut peoples mouth

Sorry for the rant..cheers all
+1
Dont worry all will be good after we beat Spurs next weekend with a depleted team.
I am sure we will have the final laugh with regards to United fans. If United win the PL, we will somehow win the champions league and have the final laugh.
Cheers.
I wouldn't write an essay about fans you disagree with. Delusion is very hard to cure, Conte the criminal is laughable considering how humble he is. I personally loved watching Costa in Chelsea as you all know but he is making this very difficult for the club. Matic is depatable but I agree that we are just saying it isn't the end of the world if we sell him, had decent moments but obviously didn't do enough the last 2 years and Bakoyoko could be a wiser investment.
We were conceding goals like mad early last season leading up to the back to back defeats Liverpool and Arsenal WHEN Conte changed the formation. Saying Costa won us the league is rather simplistic and Lazy, Conte had more to do it than a year individual player. If players could do it on their own we would not finish 10th the season before.

We sold Oscar who was 24 for 58m to overspending Chinese and Matic for 40m the only winner here is Chelsea bcos that is an outrageous amount to pay for a 29 yr old. They have not won anything yet so I don't get why they are giddy about beating West Ham at home. We lost to Burnley but they needed a perfect storm for that to happen;

Injured and suspended first team players ✅
Our players being sent off ✅
Backline who haven't had time to gel ✅
Ref who was overzealous about being seen to be strict with a big team ✅

United only played a bore draw at Old Trafford vs Burnley last season with 11 players including their 90m player on the pitch.

Last year October we were 8 points behind and we all know what happened.
+3
Who said Costa won the league for us? 1 united fan? okay so next time 1 person makes some sort of claim do we write page long essays? lol...take it e.z. bro
+1
^Most have said including our own fans it unless u have been hidden under a rock all summer then I can understand u being unaware.
+2
Lol it's not just me, some of my mates who Chelsea fans also think Costa was a big part of the title winning teams. Till the interview no one knew his side of the story, atleast it's a bit clear now
Costa isn't some prime donna who is going to color his hair and post selfies. He is a hardcore dude and even some of the stuff he does on the pitch makes him, well rather less likeable by other club fans.
But you can't deny that each time he plays he gives his best. He just needs to be managed well and he will turn into a beast. He is not running after money, he could have easily effed off to china or even ac Milan for a huge contract but he hasn't. So he is due some respect for that
"Conte is real bad at managing players. No wonder that Matic's form dropped terribly last season, he seems to be the kind of player who would 110% for the manager who trusts him.
At Chelsea he was asked to train alone.
Conte also banished a player like Costa who was single handedly responsible for their last 2 titles through a text message and asked to play with reserves."

Here is Vaaz's full comment . if im not suppose to quote anyone it can be deleted.

I dont have to prove anything to you or united fans. My rant was against Chelsea fans who fall for stories like this when they know the true story about Costa and Matic after knowing them closely for 3/4 years. If Chelsea fans cant decide if Conte is correct Costa. i dont expect anyone else to.

Like Ian wright said Costa is nothing but a disgrace and people who are backing him to play the innocent card are nothing less

In my post above i gave full story of what every happened over last 1 year and im 200% sure you dint even read it because you want to play Conte bad card and have some fun

http://www.bbc.com/sport/football/40930296
Let the season finish before dealing with some of the United fans who are flying high after one game.
+4
Your original post starts of targeting united fans and only united fans. If your going to start generalising all of united fans just because Vaaz made a controversial comment then i guess all chelsea fans are racists
+2
Lol Bazinga, you're really going to take Vaaz seriously?
Damn barca paid 36m for tottenham flop paulinho rofl...looks like its madrids turn to dominate la liga next few seasons
+5
Seems you haven't seem him play in awhile. He is an absolute beast for Brazil over the past year.
+6
he was absolute shite for Spurs

LOLOL

+1
^LMAO , the song is perfect
Ox to Chelsea might actually happen for 35m.

No complaints from me, he can play RWB, LWB, or 3rd CM.
+2
This could solve a lot of the problems of our own making.
An English player that is decent , sign him up
I like him..35m get it done
35m is pretty decent considering the amount of experience he has in and around the Premier League and Europe.

I kind of think he is wasted at RWB; but Arsenal have plenty of attacking options.
Better than nothing lol
+1
It would be a good signing for that price. But I dont know why will he join Chelsea? Which position will he play at Chelsea? Wont he face the same problem at chelsea that he is facing at arsenal right now?
+3
^^Because of Champions League?
^^^ I don't know. The thought of not finishing fourth might be appealing to some.
When we are searching for a back-up or upgrade to Alonso, we are looking to loan out Baba. smh.
Baba sucks tho lol
But he's better than nothing. He's also as good as Alonso is in attack so would've been a decent backup.
+1
Thats true i guess
But we don't need somebody as good as Alonso,we need someone better.Alonso should be a backup not a starter,he can't defend and he's slow as s**t.
The board have learned ZERO things from the debacle that was our last title defence. They have done everything to virtually ensure the current media narrative. Till we win a few matches / sign a few transfer headlines, we simply have to listen and read about how there are "problems" at Chelsea.

How the f**k do we storm to a title, and then s**t on everything? We dominated to the 2015 league title, and instead of pressing home the advantage, internally sabotaged Mourinho. We seem hell bent on doing the same to Conte. It almost seems as if board members make commissions from getting managers sacked. It makes no sense.
He can actually cross which Alonso struggles with
DL.. Really? U seen Alonso cross? He's one of the best out there.
+1
Alonso is good...only problem is his pace against good teams
