Jose Mourinho has identified Cesc Fabregas as the player to succeed John Terry as the club's next captain.(Daily Express)
Mourinho said: "He [Fabregas] is a better guy than I thought. "He’s a fantastic guy, he’s a fantastic professional."Now I understand why at the age of 19 or 20 or 21 he was Arsenal captain."When I am the manager at Chelsea the armband will go to another arm that has been in this club for many many years."But one thing is [the leader’s] brain needs to be connected with the manager, and his brain is connected to mine during matches."
I'd have to agree. Not because Cesc would be my choice. But because I'll trust whatever decision Jose makes in this regard. If making Cesc captain works for Mou it works for me.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/chelsea/11181423/Diego-Costas-mystery-illness-forced-him-into-hospital-on-return-to-Chelsea-from-Spain-duty.html

Apparently Costa was hospitalised for stomach bug when he came back from international duty and hasn't trained since then. Sigh... Drogs, Solanke or Schurrle playing striker at Old Trafford?
Remy hopefully
Costa will play on Sunday.
Potentially our next CEO

http://weaintgotnohistory.sbnation.com/2014/10/22/7039001/chelsea-marina-granovskaia-most-powerful-woman-in-football-ceo
Only natural. She's in deep with all the purse strings. Between Marina and Eva We have 2 of the smartest women in sports. And regardless of what people think about their looks they are both exceeding at their jobs in a sport dominated by men. She totally deserves it.
Even though it was offside goal I have to say Terry making the run and scoring is my favorite moment of the season so far we were comfortably winning and could have went on cruise control but the captain wanted more

Jose on Remy's injury.

"I'm not worried. We don't cry on injuries," "When a player is injured, play another one.

"It's our philosophy, we don't cry. We just think one injury means an opportunity for somebody else.

I'm sure he is taking a dig at Wenger!!

Actually it's LVG I think
Maybe Pellegrini?
I dont get it, what's wrong with swapping shirts at half time?
It's in a bad taste especially when you do it infront of the fans while getting thoroughly out classed at home
+2
wow arsenal.
+7
One of the most undeserved luckiest wins in history. You have no idea how bad we were, it's a miracle we won that.
+7
Nothing lucky about that win Assasin. When Anderletch decide to waste good chance after chance after chance against a team like Arsenal, they deserved to lose
+2
i hope liverpool keep playing balotelli. He is a legend
+2
I hope liverpool keep Rogers as long as possible..He is a legend too!!
Lord Balo!
Rogers is good manager a Chelsea product who done wonders with Liverpool giving their overall squad the last couple of seasons
Rogers is overrated and it was Suarez who did wonders for pool..his true color is out now and it will take some effort from pool to make top4 again this season
Wenger and Rodgers are losing the support of their fan bases. Very interesting.
+6
Nothing new regarding Wenger mate, it's been like that for a few years now.
this is gonna end 5-0 at the most
with a ronaldo hattrick :D
