According to RMC, Chelsea & Nantes have reached an agreement for defender Djilobodji, who will head to London to pass his medicals. #CFC

Dafuq? Who is he..
One for the loan army, once we sign Stones next summer. -_-
He is 26 years old btw.
Juve lost 2 opening games. They'd be shooting themselves if they sold Pogba.
It means they can sell pogba cuz they aint winning nothing even with pogba. They can cash in at this moment.
^ Well, flawless logic lol.

I didn't know we had a sell on clause in KDB contract.Well done Chelsea.
ivanovic hate is so damn high XD XD
+1
Getting equal to the hate Squilaci being getting at Arsenal
Just imagine if mikel had started any of the games we lost.. The amount of hate he would receive would have been so high, he would trek to bekistas and beg for a contract. Lol
Mosses loaned to WHU confirmed
Very unfortunate Moses, should of gotten a chance, maybe this opens up a door for another player
Proves that favouritism is still alive over meritocracy..

Edit: Well that was hyperbolic, but still wanted to see him given a chance.

+1
I think it was more of a bad timing. He got injured when we needed some change on the wing and we went to grab pedro instead of using him. And then his chance has gone to prove anything so he'd be loaned out instead of getting paid for sitting on the bench.
Memphis sucks
+8
He's still raw. Has the potential to be world class and is doing okay for a 21 year old..
+2
LOL back to the long balls LvG
+4
To be world class he has to be way better at 21
+7
He has been poor so far in the league, but he'll get his act together, still needs to adapt to the league and the team needs to adapt to him as well. For me, his quality is undeniable, but he does have a lot to learn.
hes doing better than hazard so far to tbh
+13
For God's sake you've probably seen him play once and your already judging him, if you had actually been watching him since he was 18 you would know that the kid is going to be world class!
+2
World class means nothing anymore. Willian is world class to some people.
+9
^ yeah mate, our manager
A comment about Memphis and Willian gets brought up.Haha truly world class.
The word world class is used too freely, can we let players earn it b4 we start calling them world class, too many times we set up players for failure, once they don't fulfill our desired definition of world class, we call them burst
Memphis needs time, he had to adapt to the PL then he will be world class
Memphis is being hailed as the next CR7 by some
Who the hell is saying Willian is world class

I don't want to single out one player, they've all been disappointing. Some of Mourinho's transfer dealings are haunting him, we still need a couple of players with a brain in attacking areas. We look very predictable and rigid. Also based on the standard he set last season, I'm more disappointed with Hazard than Ivanovic. Opposition taking advantage of Brana's lack of pace is nothing new.

Have you guys noticed in recent hears how the top teams in PL have no mental strength? (look at PL teams in the CL...) Notice how whenever City win the league the next season they're trash. We're following the same pattern, except we're taking it to a whole new level. It's embarrassing to say we're the champions.
Hazard won us the title last season with important performances and goals, Fabregas gave us 18 assists, Brana gave us big goals.

Willian has done fk all for us. So He is the first player I am pissed off at, second is Brana because hes been given 4 chances this season (1 as captain) and is showing no improvement, infact hes going backwards. He deserves to be benched, ANY other player that plays that s**t and is not a Mourinho untouchable wouldv been sold by now.

After that its Fabregas and Matic, they need to be told that if they keep playing this lackluster other players will be used. But Mourinho doesn't have the balls for this.

I'd take an unfit Baba over Ivanovic at this momment, can it be more worse than it is now? We need some serious pace in our back 6.
+1
We would not have won the title last season without Willian. Anyone who thinks otherwise, needs to take a look at his performances in all the big games last season.
+3
@ Ethio, I actually agree with you. We look winded coming back from the break and Hazard shows no real desire to get forward. Even at the very start of the game (first whistle) you see Willian bombing forward to apply pressure and Hazard just jogs for a bit before stopping. The key players that we relied on have shut off since the start and haven't come out of 1st gear.

Fabregas, misplaces passes and I'm more frustrated with him on attack then on defence.

Hazard barely shows any determination to have a shot on goal.

Diego cries way too much when he gets touched and seems more focused on that then trying to score.

Matic looks lost at times.

Brana has lost his confidence because as Ethio said, people have always beaten him many times in terms of pace, but he made up for it with his positioning and ability to read which way the opposition would go and block the cross, shot, dribble, etc.

Terry is getting older and I feel burnt himself out with that amazing season last year. Cahill, imo relies on Terry's form to be good.

Azpi looks sloppy at times and still needs to regain his form in terms of positioning, defensive awareness.

Zouma, while talented is too much of a raw talent to consistently be a rock in the back, especially at age 20. A lot of us tend to overlook the psychology/mentality of experienced players and only see the physical side of the game.

Willian would be a beast for us right now if he could find his shooting boots and have composure in front of goal.

Pedro and all the rest of them are new so you can't really have a go at them.

@Lol @ Mourinho not having the balls for it given his history of benching untouchables. For me, the only thing he is at fault for is under preparing the champions for this season. They come back late and then apparently have them do very intensive training exercises so by the time they play a match, even if it's a friendly, they already look burnt. The entire team, barring Pedro, Zouma, and Willian look like they lack energy.

Only thing I can say for positivity is that it's 4 games guys. Still 34 to go and everything to play for. Sure this has been a bad start, but to see some people say they are getting fed up or impatient with Mourinho is laughable and fickle as hell. Those that even suggest someone else would be delusional to think that would improve things at all and it could arguably send us back on a spiral much like after his first stint here (i.e. we get someone good to be a caretaker, someone great for a year and then some slew of half decent managers that we will try so hard forget).

Chelsea needs stability to improve in the long term otherwise we will just be a club that wins things sporadically before eventually having a managerial shake down, which affects the players' growth.

Hazard won us the title?Ha what a joke. This TEAM won us the title.Did he score important goals yes he did, that's his job,he is the main man.Did he give us clean sheets,or dominant the midfield?Nope. It was a teams effort, the whole team.

From Oscar and Willian's closing down,to John terry being solid at the back, down to Cech making big saves.Everyone worked there ass off last season to bring it to the bridge. So the whole Hazard gave us the title is bullshit.Imo the only difference this season is no one's gives a s**t on the pitch, nobody is hungry everyone knows there place is safe next game.Honestly I think that is about to change,my opinion. And Willian needs to bring more to the team or gtfo, him or anyone else f*****g around.
"Their assess"
@Ghanakid21 totally spot on. I share the same views with you. But I just have one question is it that Mourinho is loosing touch with the players? Is Mou methods not getting to the players? or Is this that the players just don't care. I have never seen a flat performance from Chelsea like that of Saturday. I think Hazard, Ivanovic, Fabregas needs to be benched? Is it that the players don't fear him anymore. The untouchables players feel they will be selected even if they play rubbish. I believe in Mou n I think it's high time he believes in the young/ bench players. It's high time he makes changes to starting lineup vs Everton. But Guys if Chelsea play badly like this against Everton with all this John Stones drama we will be beaten and beaten very good.
I think Mourinho has to make a very important decision. One that many people think he is the most capable person to make, given his critics views on the type of person he seems to be.

He has to make the most ruthless one. Believe it or not, he's not really a ruthless manager and he stands by anyone who shows hard work and determination. I'm surprised everyone forgotten how he benched Ashley Cole for Azpi who no one thought would have this much of an impact when we first signed him.

For me, our back four look like they need the most change because I think in this moment Mourinho has the team set up to be cautious and less expressive. It's interesting that no one picked out that each time CP scored, it was from a counter attack after we looked like we were going to score from an expressive piece of footballing display. Usually when a team can't express itself, from my experience even as an amateur player and manager, it's because the defence can't be heavily relied on.

It goes beyond the whole, "well Mourinho is a defensive-negative strategist instead of a pure football lover" because if you look at the stats of his teams, they not only get a record number of points, but also score at least in the top 3 of goals for.

I do think the old guard of our solid defence has to be transitioned out because they don't seem to have the grit and determination that Mourinho likes to see in his players (ESPECIALLY HIS DEFENCE). The biggest challenge is that it's looks like it won't be a - this is just temporary until they get their form back - kind of thing, instead of a major overhaul. That's a really terrible place to be at the start of the season for any manager. What's worse, is that all potential captains and leaders, even off the pitch have gone. Cech and Drogba are gone. Terry looks like he burnt out and basically had his "Fergie" year to see us take the title. Ivanovic is the only one who could be the next captain because of his immense presence, but to make matters worse, his form has dropped. It's hard to be lead by a player who constantly makes mistakes, which are easily identifiable and cost the team.

No one had a problem with Bane (called that for a reason) last year. No one was calling for his head when he came up with the crucial goal against City and really helped us on attack. Mourinho saw it too and rewarded him with a leadership role seeing as he was the best candidate after Terry.

I asked this question earlier, but no one seemed to give a logical response in terms of who from our roster would be the next leader of Chelsea? One who has to fill the boots of a player who is among the VERY FEW to actually be a one club legend.

To answer your question. I don't think Mourinho has lost the dressing room. I think that he, almost opposite of last year when even he admitted he thought Terry would not make the cut, truly believed he had more time to transition and phase out his defenders. He thought he could still work with the same team and not need to make any MAJOR changes, just small ones that would mostly be or the future. Baba, Zouma, and even Stones look more like the future than the current solution. Unfortunately, if he actually has to reconstruct his defence, then we have a very long season ahead of us and our patience and support is key.

I'm hoping our form is a temporary thing, rather than a complete transition because revolutionizing a team takes a summer where you make accurate and crucial buys to solve a problem, not splash the cash. Hence why we won last season.
@Ghanakid thanks for the response. But I think Mou needs to take some part of the blame. After we won the league last season he was saying we don't need any serious buying because he wants to be loyal to the players who won the league. I wasn't impressed at all by this. We had the whole summer to have bought capable reinforcements. The players needed competition to keep each and every one of them on their toes instead he made the players feel lazy knowing the coach will play them even if they put in a mediocre shift. Now that decision has caught up with the team. Barcelona won the Champions League but still bought new signings to their team. Now I am so scared for ChelseaFC right now. Come to think of it Guys we are challenging in 4 fronts

1. The Premiere League
2. The Champions League
3. FA cup
4. The Capital one cup.

I hope the players regain their form and come back from the international break full of hunger, desire, and pride for playing for ChelseaFC because they have not shown those in the previous three games. If they don't we will be eliminated from this four competitions very early.

You asked who should the next captain be I will say make Hazard or Tbo the captain. Tbo has come up with some key saves even though the defense has let him down. I think Ivanovic should be strip of from being the captain for now and benched. He needs to taken off the spotlight for his own good. For me Ivanovic, Fabregas, william needs to be benched so that they can get their acts together. The players needs to know that it is an honor to be playing for ChelseaFC. I feel for the supporters who went to watch a home game at Stamford Bridge and get this type of Performance from the Chelsea Players I will be so pissed if I was there. I have to wake up sometimes 4,5, 6, or 7am in the morning to watch Chelsea games in the US here and I almost blamed myself for watching the game instead of sleeping. It is my hope that the International break came at a right time for Chelsea. I hope we see an improved performance way at Everton.
We're going back to defensive pivot after the break IMO. We'll either panic buy a CM or play Ramires/Mikel.

It would go some way to fixing our defense, and hopefully Ivanovic is dropped also.
Considering the CM you guys are linked with is Pogba, that'll be one hell of a panic buy.

have we even done an official bid
doesn't the window close tomorrow?

What do you guys think is wrong with Brana? All he does is stand on the ground with his hands behind his ass. He used to be a beast. Last season he was average but this season medicore.
He lost pace, yesterday we saw what happened when he was against Baloise, He was too scared to tackle,
He's scared to tackle because committing against a winger with more pace than u is suicide. He'll be beat every time. So to make up for his lack of pace, he gives them space. It's a double edged sword.
He is a CB playing at RB, was decent but still frustrating last season and now his true colors coming out now. I wish we had pacy fullbacks, I miss Cole.

Back 6 literally have no pace, its no wonder we are getting beat by it, a blind man can see this problem.

But Mourinho will obviously ignore this and target Hazard, smh.
How will he target Hazard?I certain the one guy he was talking about is Fabregas or Ivanovic,no one else.
I wonder if that is a subconscious thought, Bluff? In no way did Mourinho call out Hazard, yet we all are thinking it.

I was more frustrated with Hazard in terms of his recent performances then anyone else because as much as the defence was caught out, our attacking force failed to convert and even challenge Palace. When Kennedy came on it was like a breath of fresh air because he was direct and fearless. Something we need to see more from Hazard who should be rising to his full potential.
