Am I the only one that thinks Costa isnt as strong as ppl hype him to be? I mean.. hes strong but not " tank/full-muscled body" strong

Even in fifa hes 91 strength.

P.s this is in no way a go at him lol. Just think he's not actually that strong as ppl depict
I'm sure he's not as "strong" as we are making him out to be. a lot of us here like to exaggerate, and that's fine. haha. we're just excited having the shinny new striker that we've been waiting for bro. :P
He is not 'Drogba' strong but strong enough. His strength mostly comes into play when he's running with the ball and dribbling.
If strength were all Micah Richards would strike.

Costa is quick and tenacious in the key areas. He can score with both feet and his head and is tough in a skirmish situation. He cannot be muscled out easily and he is ready for a duel. That is the strong we speak about.
He played streetball in Brasil until he was 15. He knows how to play the physical game more than most.
We need a tunnel cam every home game like city.

PS: Does Cristiano Ronaldo even have a peak?
City backroom stuffs is amazing at how they offer their fans a close up of their heroes. Close up training, tunnel cam etc
Thank you, Ronaldo and Bale! My dreamfooty thanks you!
So does mine :D
I'd like to see Lukaku vs Liverpools defence on Sat
Liverpool is taking the 3 points this time.
holy s**t liverpool
LOL!! They somehow made it...but looks like they are in for a long season and maybe even drop out of top4 again.
Pat BAM!!!

Cool penalty takes it to penalties against Pool. What a fantastic performance by Boro.
+1
yup..even Omeruo is doing well.
isnt blackman a chelsea player too? didnt see the game but i hear there is a blackman in net for boro
Yes he is our 4th choice GK and one of the zillion loanes we have all over the world
A Blackman lol.
Van Ginkel started but go injured...He just cant get a break from the injuries :(
Torres scored for Milan. You were always going to regret selling him lol.
+1
No we dont regret at all LOL!! Happy for him though :D
There's absolutely no regret here.Even if he was to top score in Serie A still doesn't mean anything to us.
he scored 1 goal for us once, i remember thinking it was the beginning. turns out it was the climax
Even if Drogba does not score the entire year, he will be more useful than that pile of horse manure.
good for him, Once a blue always a blue
hope he does well
+1
Did he score 7 yet? You know there is this player who score 7 goals in first 4 games at Chelsea.
Torres scored one. What a news.
Good for him! I hope he scores 30+. We will never regret selling him. He should have left sooner. His style of play no matter how hard he tried to addapt would never work at Chelsea. I wish him the best of luck with Milan.
Very agreed with C61. no way he was going to adapt to Chelsea's style. and very glad for him to get off the mark so early with Milan. Wish him luck and to at least get a small bit out of his old glory days.
Hi Guyz have you heard the news that Lampard deal was extended till January 31st. That means that he can face us at home when city come to SB. I am not happy about this at all. I think Manuel Pellegrini intentionally did this just to taunt us. If I am lampard I will just excuse myself from playing that game. If he plays or scores the winning goal that denies Chelsea the 3 points I will have no more respect for him. I know he is a legend in ChelseaFC and still my best player but if I hopes he excuses himself from that game. Because Legends don't leave a there most loved club and go join a direct rival in the same league. I share Mourinho sentiments hare. What do you guys think?
+5
Do you think Lampy had choice? I'm really happy for him as he is still playing football at highest level. I'm not mad with him scoring equalizer against US. We should've gone for that 2nd goal instead of letting them play their game.

I would love to see him playing against US. I won't go mad even if he scores the winner against us.

He wouldn't be a professional then would he?
It also has to do with yaya leaving for afcon other than pelle being a douche. I think lampard may regret coming to city after all, plus lamps did request pellegrini to excuse which he denied. I would still not be angry with him tbh.
+1
@Chelsea4laif: I understand you could hate a guy for joining a rival (however that came to be) - but I cannot understand you hating a guy for scoring when he is on the field. You are questioning the very fabric of professionalism.
+2
I would be more than happy if Lampard starts for City ahead of any of the current CM or CDM players City have....Just because he scored a goal last game does not mean he will cause more threat compared to other players city have.
If we are not good enough to stop Lampard from scoring at SB..We better flight for top4 finish instead of dreaming about title.
+1
Lol these are the possibilities when you don't offer a player a contract. Rio went to QPR and no one holds a grudge. It's just part of the game. Obviously QPR and city are not the same level and type of rival but I don't think it is fair to slag off lampard for being a professional here.
+1
Overzealous fans smh. That guy gave his life to your club, show some respect.
If thats what you think, then you should forfeit the right to cheer anything cesc does against arsenal, cahill does against bolton, etc.
+2
i love lamps but i really dont understand his logic here. i really dont understand what he is doing, surely he could go to any club. even spain? if i had the career he had, all in the PL why didnt he go and play in spain for 6 months?
+1
Because City abd Lampard knew exactly what they were getting into.
Guidas - Lampard joined Newyork FC...but from there he was sent back to City on loan. Now Pella is using him and all the emotions for his mind games by playing him against us..its not in his hands to select where he goes on loan i guess.
@SIF Cmon Ferdinand will never score against United.
Lampard can score against any team in any circumstances.
@Guidas I'm pretty sure the reason behind this loan deal is because Manchester City and New York City are run by same Organization hence makes the deal go easier while Lampard can get good compensation for playing for both teams. Why would any teams in Spain want a 36 year old player? I think going to MLS is still professionally competitive and rewarding for player like him.
Guys, I think you're forgetting the fact that NYFC and Man City are owned by the same people. So, that's why he was offered the loan by City. also, if he decides to sit out any games, or goes against the staff, he could be looking at serious consequences when he re-joins NYFC.
Lampard is a legend yes. and it's annoying to see him wear any other teams' colors, much less a direct rival. but that doesn't tarnish his history with us. and we all know that he is the essence of Professionalism. I think over the years and joy that he's brought the club, he's earned the right to do whatever he wants/needs to without any criticism of us Chelsea Faithful. and if you don't believe that, then I'm sorry but I highly doubt that your heart is truly blue.
My last post on this topic guys.

Chelsea let Lampard go.

City gave him a chance to play at the highest level in the EPL. A couple of you folks are treating him like Judas. Cannot be farther from the truth.

Lampard is a Chelsea legend. Nobody can change that.
