Happy Halloween everyone!

Petr Cech carved us a pumpkin. :D

Bits from Mou presser

1. Costa and Ramires available but no Remy and Mikel.
2. Costa's injury still needs to be managed very carefully.
3. DD is a fantastic guy and understands his role in the team
3. The perfect "problem" for Mou is to have all Strikers fit.
4. Rather not speak about grabbing during corners from last weekenddespite much goading by member of press.
5. Would never stand in the way of any National Team to deny them the use of any CFC player
6. Oops...video link went off.

I think with Oscar starting against Utd and Shrewsbury, he will be rested for this one and Ramires will start.

Courtois;Ivan-Cahill-JT-Luis;Ramires-Matic;Willian-Fabregas-Hazard;Costa.
wouldn't start ramires in the epl after coming back from injury. late sub, then start against maribor.

I'd start Schurrle. He needs a run of games to get out of this slump. QPR at home is perfect.
Oscar does deserve a resr and there's no danger in starting Ramires but I'd like to see Schurlle get a start. My teamfor tomorrow would be

Courtois
Ivan Cahil Terry Luis
Matic Fabregas
Schurlle Willian Hazard
Costa.
Agree with that team Naija. Rambo and Oscar as subs later on and maybe DD to ease Costa back into things.
Schurrle is not playing well at all, and Mou wasn't exactly complimentary of him after last game, so I don't think he'll start.

He does need games to regain his form though.
This is priceless! Latest episode of Football Today. The entire show on Zola. Dennis Wise being interviewed "I used to say to him you got donkeys and you got show-horses, you're a show-horse Franco, I'm a donkey, I do all that the hard work and I give you it and you create and you score." LOL!

As of now, 61 has more embeds than Cloudst during his first year as a mod.
You've been keeping count?
I enjoy doing it! It's something IMO has been missing for a while and I'm not just doing it in the Chelsea forum. I promise more, and if anyone finds an image relavent to their forum I'll be more than happy to embed it. Just post the link on my wall with a request. :)

I'm no expert but this doesn't look like a man that needs surgery to me. Diego in training yesterday.

I announced Southampton has become one of the big boys and top team. They are the tean to beat
No they are not, they will compete for the 5th place. Even Spurs beat them, they are a midtable side who is in a good form.
Any position in the table at the moment shouldn't be taken too seriously except maybe that of Burnley. Southampton lost to Tottenham as the only top team they've faced this season so they are not yet big boys but its refreshing to see them up theee I must say.
+1
Southampton have become one of the *bic bois*...
Southhampton

This season
P9 W6 D1 L2
Last season
P9 W5 D3 L1

And last season that brilliant early form was followed by 1 win in 9 games. Not saying they will replicate that this season, just listing some stats, but man, Pelle looks a brilliant player, he is a cheap Diego Costa.
+1
Soton's schedule has been fairly light so far. The 2 losses were against Liverpool and Spurs. At the end of November they face a 3 game stretch v City, Arsenal and United. If they take more than 3 points from that stretch then you can start talking about them being the team to beat.
-_-
I wouldn't be too surprised if they beat City, United and Arsenal in their current form. Only thing that could slow them down is fatigue and lack of depth (compared to those teams)
Lol! Vic never disappoints
^ of course i don't
+6
They already beat Arsenal in the Carling Cup I think.
Newcastle's comprehensive win at the Etihad made me even more grateful for our scrappy win at Shrewsbury. When players don't play often there's bound to be some rustiness and I don't see why they should be overly criticised after one sub par game what's important is that we won.

Mangala is overrated I always said the only reason he looked good against us is that Costa was isolated up from by Mou's tactics against both City CBs and he kept getting fouled. And when Costa was isolated againt Mangala he beat him and only the post saved City from conceding a second which could've been a winner.

I am very impressed with our team so far and if we can avoid our November blip then we should be fine for the rest of the season.
+3
I'll just add this, even when Costa was man marked heavily by Kompany, Mangala and Zabaleta, he managed to hit the post (like you mentioned) and get Zabaleta sent off.

Even with Fellani (who had a great game) man marking Cesc out of the game, he still got an assist :D

And even with Drogba being our 3rd choice striker and not having the legs like before, he's gotten 3 goals in 3 games.

And also, even with Azpi and Brana out, their replacements Christensen and Luis have played brilliantly (especially Luis).
+2
Cheers Bluff.....I for one I'm very grateful with where our team is atm and the direction of development and it will only get better whether November likes it or not :P
Just watched highlights of Shrewsbury.

Salah sucks ass lol

He's the donkey of this team
Take it easy on the lad bro....there's a reason we bought him in the first place. Without Salah Basel wouldn't have beat us home and away last season and since he left they've not been as good. He is not getting enough game time to get into rhythm. ..if u bench Fabregas for a month trust me he will suck on return
+1
Yea i think we bought him to troll liverpool lol
+1
he lacks shooting technique, but other than that, he's got so much going for him.

But he is far too young to give up on.

CFC table v itself for the last 20 years after 9 games.
+5
Does the star indicate seasons which Chelsea were Champions?
Yep
Wow @ 05/06
The real test is November.

Survive November, the title is ours.
You guys were really done in during November of 10/11

beginning of that season, you were absolutely flying, scoring goals for fun and had a very strong defense. but November/December came and the team just crumbled.
^i think ray wilkins was sacked in November that year. It could have had something to do with it...
do we have a stat for november to December alone? that will be interesting to see how we fared in title winning seasons.
Please I'd like to see an update of this table after November then I can begin to read some meaning into it but still we are on track and its only good we are leading the pack so far.
you missed 04/05
+1
nvm
And we have your team, Fernando Torres and fakn Woy Hodgson to thank for that Teja :D

Drogba got Malaria around that time as well, remember our 3-0 defeat AT HOME to Sunderland as well lol?

Good Times.
