Do you guys feel it will be good to bring Lukaku back to bridge in future..I think it was a mistake to sell him. I wish it was just a loan Damn!!

Chelsea have reportedly rejected a £57.5m January bid for Oscar from Chinese club Jiangsu Suning, according to reports

Thats way too much money I would have accepted for such inconsistent player.

What bout yall?
Omg should have accepted wtf I've said it already better sell him when his value is still high
That's alot for Oscar lol. Reports suggest that they're going to bid again come summer.

Add it to the Pogba fund perhaps?
I think any club would accept that offer, not sure if Oscar would want to go there though...
why didnt this report come up during the transfer window? just a bullshit rumor, some journalist just looking for something to write, Oscar is a complete no 10 who offers us a lot, he is still very young and will be one of the best in his position in few years, its not just about money coz we may cash in big money for him and wasted that money in another Cuadrado type of player.
+4
Obinocarlo...totally agree with you. £57m is not a crazy bid for Oscar he is easily worth that amount in today's market plus he's not even 25 yet. We sold Luiz for £50m a couple of years ago and he wasn't as important for the team as Oscar is atm starting every game.

They will have to bid in excess of £65m for the Club to come to the table.
Obinocarlo - the transfer window in China is open till the end of February
even Guardian reporting this now....Anyways it would have been a mistake selling Oscar now without signing a replacement
Pshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.... Oscar is overrated, average no. 10.

And this is coming from a once big fan of Oscar. Sell him.

If Jose moves to United..brings Mata back?
i rather keep Oscar

Interesting debate on Chelseafancast, (which i reccomend EVERYONE to listen too, cause they bring up excellent points). Does anyone have that kind of passion that they used to for Chelsea? I know that I am really struggling to like this club like the way I did before and get behind any of the players. Sure, I do like some, but most of them are mercernaries to me, not like our old gaurd that played for the badge.

I get so irritated when these guys turn up for Arsenal but play half ass against lesser teams, that player siege mentality. Thats why I can respect the likes of Costa, Terry, Ivanovic, Mikel, Willian, Azpi, who despite being hot and cold here and there, give it their all for the badge.

Hope I'm proven wrong when the likes of Hazard, Courtois etc. stay even when we don't have UCL football.

That passion I had for Chelsea however, is slowly dieng i'm afraid, not sure about how you guys feel.
I dont think players purposely turn up for Arsenal and then switch off for lesser teams that argument can go either way if Arsenal fans say their team switch of against us and play well against others. Our confidence is still fragile and teams like Arsenal always want to attack especially at home so that allows more space for our creative players do thrive.

We have struggled against organised and hardworking teams since 2013 when we couldn't beat mid table teams while winning against title rivals. Atletico demolished our team thar year as if to further butress the point that we strughle against hardworking and disciplined teams who play compact.

What we need going forward is to be able to diversify out game especially in attack so we dont just play narrow. We need proper wingers and attacking Fbs to widen the game if its too compact in the middle.

All those who want players sold should think twice bcos the quality of a teams bench has a huge bearing on their season
The old guard is just that, old.. give it up. I initally became a fan solely because of Drogba. Clearly am still a fan but we had a fantastic team for a while and took it for granted. These guys are old now and the board/managers need to realize that and give these young boys like BABA, RLC, KENEDY a effing chance to prove themselves in meaningful matches, meaning START THEM... Azpi, Zouma and Mikel are trash to me. Why we let Filipe Luis go I will never understand, why we don't start Baba when he's clearly a creator as well as a defender I will never understand, Mikel is not good, one decent game and he starts every game, I dont even know how he's still on the team..but whatever, keep it BLUE
I was taking you seriously until you said Azpi is trash. Zouma and Mikel, understandable. But Azpi, trash?

I hope that's a mistake on your part, or else we'll just have to agree to disagree.
Just REALLY dont like watching our back line except for Cahill who hasn't played n idk how long, also he cant cross for jack s**t which is crucial for 4-3-3, and where Ivanovic redeems himself at times
Given our season it was a good idea to start defensively with Matic and Mikel but Matic should have been subbed after the first half or around 60 mins not after 72 mins. After 72 mins when Hazard came in for Matic, we were in total control of the ball and created some good chances.

Atletico Madrid confirm efforts to wrest Diego Costa back from Chelsea

I dont mind selling him for profit...He cant be trusted and its better to cash in and invest elsewhere
+1
Who would you look to bring in if so? Just curious
Didn't Lewandowski say he was looking for a new challenge?
If he does leave it'll shatter this team into even more pieces. The only player with any consistancy in the second half of the season. If he stays through this next summer I will gain a ton of respect for the guy.
@C61 - you really think he's that much of a leader? He's passionate, no question, but sometimes he's just a big meat headed thug. Right now he's our thug, but I wouldn't be upset if we found a striker who could finish and lead the attack without all of Diego's antics.
Consistent in 2nd half?? sorry he could not score against Mk Don's and Watford to save our asses...I dont think he is good enough to take us to next level.

We need someone with cool head leading the line...IMO Aubameyang , Higuian , Icardi are better options for stable future.
wasn't Ath Madrid banned from signing players until summer of 2017?
Ban on-hold for now...they will drag it like Barca and escape most of it
As great as those strikers are there is no telling that they will come to England and be able to lift Chelsea to the next level. When Costa was at Ath Madrid and we were heavily linked and especially with his blistering start to his first season in the EPL we saw him as the one but now be is viewed as an inconsistent liability.
I want to point out something that hasn't really ever been addressed on the Chelsea forum. I'll make it no secret I've never been a big fan of John Terry. He's the last of a generation of English players that grew up in the goon era. The days when nearly every team had a Vinnie Jones enforcer/goon type player roaming the pitch just looking for trouble. Terry never played this way overtly, not often anyhow.

I'm gonna go ahead and say the reason Terry isn't getting a new contract is because he is a major part of the player revolt we've witnessed this season. And make no mistake guys, this is a player revolt we've been witnessing. That the team wouldn't win under Jose says everything, they haven't lost in 10 now with him gone just punctuates the issue.

John Terry is and has been the most persuasive factor in our dressing room for more than a decade now and is likely responsible for the offing of more managers heads than any other player in England. Its really true. We've had more managers than any other club in England over the last decade (during Terry's run as captain).

This is why IMO Terry is being let go. I feel he was the biggest part in why Jose lost his grip on the team. Roman thought it was smoothe sailing after he hired Jose but JT had to stir the pot again and the players all jumped on board.

I'll just mention this in parting. JT has been a fantastic player on the pitch but he is a destructive force behind the scenes. For those that want to send him off with a hero's parade, you might want to rethink what it is he's actually done for us. He was on the bench during our most important win. He's the lousest voice on this team and this team just sent one of the best managers in the world away because they couldn't handle the pressure (IMO). What does that say about the leader of this sorry lot?

He can take all the credit he wants, but he won't assume any of the blame. He's too arogant to admit fault. Which is why its gonna be a big fall from the top when its finally over. I can see Terry making the headlines regularly as all of his troubles happen off the pitch. Sad really, his familly are a bunch of racist twats. I hope he doesn't end up following that same path. But also sadly, I won't really miss him. Its the comradery that he had with Lamps and Drogs and Cech I'll miss. He's the last of the old guard. What an epic crash and burn season we're having. I can barely watch.

Thanks for going out with a KABOOM captain, leader and all that...

The way he spoke about the contract in public and made the club and management look like a villains was sad. especially when we are in crisis like now.

Affair with team mates wife...stupid and irresponsible challenge against Barca in the Semi to get red and miss finals(Although we won thanks to the team)...He has involved in many such controversies over last decade.

But, as a player he has done incredibly things for Chelsea over 2 decades and easily on of the best English ad PL CB of all time.

Did someone hack Chelsea61 profile. Lol

It could be Terry but we would never know. If I had to pick someone (pick or die scenario), I would pick Costa. His attitude makes it seem like something he would do

Why I say this is, at the point when Chelsea started playing well, they could not win primarily because they did not take their chances. Costa would be walking and drifting out wide. There will be situations where 3 Chelsea players would be in the box and Costa would not be in there. Imagine!

However, Chelsea did seem to concede every game. Which if I had to pick a snake, it will be courtois. If he is as good as cech which we saw last season, there is no way he can concede so much. Unless like you say, Terry is so smart and you would never know when his decisions lead to goals conceded.

However, I blame Jose downfall to lack of rotation. His bench players are good and better than non EPL EUROPE team's players. But he was so fixed on the perfect 11 and ended up playing 14 people for majority of the last season. I saw of stat Chelsea had the worst rotation of last season. Add that to the Carling cup and Europe.

So when his stars Costa Hazard cesc Matic Terry decided to turn on him or fatigue caught up to them. He had no one to turn to.

I hope he has learnt a big lesson he shouldn't be learning at this stage. Rotation is important
not sure whether this is true or not, apparantly Allegri sign a four year deals to become Chelsea manager...anyone can confirm?

http://www.90min.com/posts/2927654-juventus-boss-massimiliano-allegri-reportedly-agrees-4-year-deal-to-become-chelsea-manager
Not sure...some reports suggest that Pellegrini will be our next manager. But nothing credible as of now
thx for the info...we'll see...
Plaing 2 DM's worked against Palace and Arsenal where people were also questioning Guss (especially Palace game). But after we won those games, no one batted an eye, and now that after the Watford game it didn't quite work out, and everyone's like why play two DMs?

The subs are what i'd be more pissed about. We might be unbeaten in 10, but 6 of those were draws lol. Decent but not good enough.
Agreed with all what u said especially the subs and I wish we could have gone for all out attack in the second half which I think we'd have won by outscoring them.

I know a draw seems a bad result and I've read somewhere below that some would rather lose 3 matches and win one than draw 3. I totally disagree with that notion because a defeat doesnt only rob u of all the available points it also affects players mentality and gives others more confidence against you. We have lost 9 times already this season if only we drew half of those matches we'd be 9th or 10th.
We have lost to Bournemouth at home this season and humiliated by midtable teams in West Ham, Stoke, Palace, Liverpool so an away draw against any team above us is a positive in the context of our season.
@Bluff we didnt play 2 DM against Palace, its Mikel and Cesc in pivot.
Starting two DM right off the bat with NO Hazard... playing it super safe.
+2
the 3 midfield against Man U will look like this

Matic Mikel Zouma

just to keep un-beating run going with another draw.
s**t performance. Two DMs against Watford, seriously? We need to throw caution to the wind in these games especially at this time of the season. We need the 3s not the 1s.
