Chelsea have kept clean sheets for 6 consecutive home games atm this season. Record was 9 in 2010.

Chelsea in 2010 was scary, destroying teams for fun 6+ goals every week.
Hazard is a doubt for Atletico!

I really don't get the hate Ramires receives on this forum. He may not be the most accurate passer or the best tactician on the pitch but he has more heart, hustle, and determination than almost every other player on the team, excluding the older fellas (Terry, Lamps, Cech). He doesn't take a play off, and if he messes up he doesn't wallow in self-pity or make any gestures towards other players, he simply focuses on the new objective at hand.
+3
he has lungs and anger.
+1
He's really poor against teams who sit deep, due to his average passing and poor ball control.

But away from home he's alright. Can run for days and wins the ball back a lot - shame he has to commit so many fouls in the process.
+1
He plays in the center. His position affects the whole team. If he plays like he has been, we will not be able to control the midfield.
+2
All very valid points, I guess my favorite types of players are the engines, I love to see him never give up on plays. Geekwhu made a great point about his positioning that I never really took into account. In my opinion he has proven himself in big games over the past few seasons, I just don't think we should be giving up on him just yet.
he's solid at best, a liability on most days.
On a week in week out basis he's prone to mental lapses. He's got pace and stamina only a few can match. If he could somehow learn to be better with his decisions once he's won the ball for us he could be one of the best midfielders in the world. As it stands his passing has been sub par at least 3/4 of the time this season. He gets us out of trouble and then puts us right back in it. I think it's good he's had some time off.

That said, in big games Ramires can and has turned up big for us. He was outstanding v Napoli and Barca in 2012. Luiz and Willian also have a touch of the same bug. From here on there are only big games until the season ends. I hope our Brazillians stay on track with big game performances. It would be very unlike them to not give everything they have for the last few games that are left.
Great energy , gives in all for the team and a great guy as well I am sure. But his poor skills with the ball and lack of vision in passing has prevented him from being a better player than what he is now.

There was a time when almost everyone had great hopes from Ramires. But he hasnt lived up to the bill. Personally, I never had much hope after watching him during the Ancelotti days. I thought Benfica had ripped us of a lot of money.

But anyways, hoping that Mourinho works on his weaker aspects and we see a more rounded player next season in him.
He hasn't lived up to the bill... His goal against Barca didn't mean anything. That he was chosen the players player of the year (players have more knowledge than fans) didn't mean anything.
That he was very important in the semi finals pus final of the FA cup didn't mean anything.

Please sell him to Real! Ancelotti (like Mourinho) is crazy about him. Even the most reliable journalist in Barcelona said that Barca are interested in him. In modern football every team needs an engine.

But I repeat sell him to another team. Cfc don't deserve him (someone who always gives it all).

most important week of football in years. can't wait!

I wonder where's Bloom. Missed his nonsense
He is still drooling over the international package he received few day back . Perhaps his long awaited "donkey" jersey from Ethio ?

I remember when media amd people saying Diego Costa broke somethimg and will prolly miss the season + World Cup lol . Yesterday he played xD

Ouch. Pray for Cole :(

I'd prefer Luiz in centre of the park, or else we'd get destroyed in CM.
Makes no sense, Cole has to play at LB.

Luiz is our best midfielder without Matic - the dilemma should be who to partner him with, not if he should be playing RB!
lampard and ramires hahahahahaha kill me now. Atletico will destroy that pivot
wiat, is ramires suspended for the first leg also? I was hoping to have a midfield trio of

----luiz----
rami---oscar

willian torres schurrle

I'll go with Torres over Ba because hopefully he'll run around and try to break up plays.
Nah Ramires is available. Suspension was for only 1 game.
hopefully the Ramires that got subbed off at half time vs Swansea doesn't show up ever again.
He womt show up again. The worser Ramires will show up
guys, relax. We got Mourinho. He knows Atletico.
Reports suggest Luka Modric is unhappy at Real Madrid and the club is looking at Javier Pastore and Eden Hazard as possible replacements.

Lol

not even the same position, lol.
i trust goal.com, it's a legit source.

However, Eden said he's happy at CFC and does NOT want to leave yet
Pastors swap with Modric. Sounds about right
Pastore only linked because of the goal he scored against us, he isn't even good enough for Madrid's bench lol.
Doubt he wants to leave but i'm sure Jose (man with a plan) likes Modric a lot cause of his managerial career at Madrid is it possible for Chelsea to get him why not but it would really take a hefty price and also remember his enjoy life at real even more cause of Bale used to play together at spurs and now in the dream team so it would really take a lot of money let alone his wages
I've must of read that Gerrard quote a million times. Bleh
