We made Arsenal look so good yesterday their annual September "we are winning the league" is on overdrive
Not hating though they were styling on us but tbf so would've Sunderland had they played us yesterday
+1
ok :'(
Can begrudge them mate..beating us means that much to them especially bcos it is a collector's item for Arsenal fans
Better team won..as simple as that.

Apart from Costa and Kante..all our players played like sh*t
Kante made too many positional mistakes.
Luiz should play DM with Kante then there would be a balance , Matic has done nothing to deserve to be starting
Matic is playing further up then I expected he is not really protecting the back 4 and we have better players that can play further up

He doesn't really fit in this formation
+1
Yeah... I don't think it's his fault he's been utterly f*****g useless, it's like telling John Terry to go play RW and tell him off for being shite lmao.
Until January we should probably use this:
Courtois
Azpi Luiz Terry Alonso
Matic Kante
Moses Willian Hazard
Costa
Subs: Begovic, Aina, Ivanovic, Oscar, Fabregas, Pedro, Batshuayi
i don't see anything special in alonso! i would rather play aina.. drop matic and replace with fabregas or oscar. kick ivan in his balls and send him to u21

cant wait for zouma to return
go for the optimistic team
Begavic
Azpi Zouma Terry Alonso
Luiz Kante
Moses Cesc Hazard
Costa
Courtois
Azpi Ivan Terry Alonso
Kante Oscar Luiz
Pedro Hazard Costa
Kante is good enough to do all the defensive work in the pivot, so why add Matic, his job is similar to Kante. Unless we want to two players protecting the back four. Cesc in pivot would be good.
I feel Matic and Kante are being used out of position. WTF Matic isn't a playmaker and Kante isn't really a DM. So Kante as a box to box in the pivot with Matic, as he isn't confident (And hasn't been for 18 months) so he wouldn't do well alone. As for Alonso, Aina isn't a LB, and Azpi on the left isn't great either (attacking wise). Alonso has a decent foot and can whip in a few decent balls.
Totally forgot about Zouma, maybe him and JT and rotate Matic and Luiz at CDM?
Kante-Cesc pivot, Oscar in front of them. Change Cesc and Matic in difficult games.

I wonder how long till we see Kante-Luiz
Kante-Wistel would have been ideal. Since we couldn't sign him and considering how we conceded goals now I think this should be used till January.

Costa
Hazard Willian Moses
Mikel Kante.
Alonso Ivanovi Luiz Azpi
T-Bo
Chill out guys; They have only got 3 points (let them celebrate like they won a league title). We have a good coach; Give the man few games to try out few options. He will guide us to realistic top 4.
3 things to be done
1.remove cahill and ivanovic
2.find a better keeper than courtous
3.conte must play 3 at back cos with 4 we concede 3.
Courtois is fine, how many of the goals we have conceded has he been at fault for? Only thing wrong with him is his attitude.
+2
3 at back in EPL won't work. Did u see how more exposed we were when he switched to 3 at back. Mancini tried it and conceded a lot to force him change it. This is not Italy where teams relaxed and not press to recover ball.
Courtois has only made one mistake against Swansea? How is it his fault our defence is playing s**t? Begovic also let in 2 vs Leicester, so it just proves it's our defence.
When is Conte gonna realize that he needs to take out the f*****g spoons known by Cahill and Ivanovic. I mean like 6 or 7 times Ivanovic hit the ball into the middle to Ozil without even looking, something I used to do at the age of 8.
I am seriously pissed off with our play in the back, takes forever to go forward
Costa literally gets no support , he has to hold the ball for the rest of the team to get going
All recent Conte teams have always built from the back though. When you have neanderthals like Cahill and Ivanovic on the ball, we will always have the problem.

The more I see this, the more I think this was the season to blood in Christensen. I can see us losing him to City or Bayern next season, for some peanuts thrown at the board.

I really hope Conte drops Ivanovic now (if not Cahill as well). To cut down individual mistakes is a lot easier than to resurrect an 18 month slump.
All our players are stagnant. We don't have players who are comfortable on ball except Hazard, Willian, Fabregas, and Kante. We can't play this new style of football, let me rephrase that, we can't play football with these players. Hazard can't do much when there are defenders are already set up. Willian is doing Willian. Fabregas is not fast and not a goal scorer. Kante is decent at what he's doing but heavily dedicated for our defense.

I miss more and more the old Chelsea.
the lack of movement in the opposing third is just disgraceful from our team. cant blame Hazard when everyone else is standing still

My gosh, he is fuming. I love this guy.
