Chelsea in talks to sign Tiemoue Bakayoko and Alex Sandro

http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11668/10927775/chelsea-in-talks-to-sign-tiemoue-bakayoko-and-alex-sandro
Great news..cant wait for it to be official.

#July1st 😊
I already know how home grown rule works in registering players, but please is there any rule that forced EPL clubs to field at least one English player in the starting 11? I need clarification on this from anyone that knows much about it.
I don't think so as I remember a commentator saying no English players in Arsenal's XI in some motd. Not fully sure tho
we are paying 60m to Sandro...No matter how good he is. It is 20m more and he better make it worth
20m more? He's the 2nd best LB behind Marcelo.. probably 10m more but considering today's market it could be the best buy of our season if it happens. Lukaku on the other hand feels like a very risky move.
Juve is milking us this time, they knew we need him badly that's why they want to get as higher as they can. In today's market Sandro is worth at most 50m but we rushed and made first bid st 50m which they rejected, that means we must increase the big to force them to sell.
Juve fans on the other hand are sad that they are letting Sandro go and any replacement will be inferior. We are getting a top, top quality player, the price is fine.
60m is not too bad for a player of his quality in the current market and There are hardly any player better than him in his position. But still that is one hell of a price.
60 millions for Sandro, then how much for Lukaku? 90??? I am really scared we gonna go close to 100 for Lukaku and he will give us two Torress.
Sandro is a fantastic player but I would not pay over £50m for him. His team may have gone to the CL final but they were totally outclassed RM despite scoring first iirc. Nobody is competing fir his signature so if we negotiate properly we could get him for that price or less with add ons maybe taking it up to a couple of millions.

There are decent players out there who just need a top team to believe in them and play with better players who we can get for reasonable price. We did it with Alonso last year and Moses so unless our scouts or Conte's scouts are lazy we should not be duped into paying 60m for a defender.

I dont believe the figures been thrown around by the media though. Chelsea will not pay that much for a defender. Hazard, Kante, Fabregas, Costa we got for under 40m despite their quality and even Bakayoko is rumoured to be around 35m.

Our transfer policy changed after Torres since then not even Mourinho could get the board to sign any player for over 40m.
Are we really going to buy Bakayoko for 35 millions and sell Matic for 40 millions?
+1
hopefully
40mil for Matic? What kind of sorcery are you guys pulling when it comes to negations on selling players.
I don't know where the media pulled 40m for Matic from, he's 29, it's impossible.
Its united that want to buy him so we won't let him leave for cheap. Other foreign club can buy him for 20m but to rivals its double.
Given age, position and his form of last two years I will be happy if Matic is sould for 20-25 millions. 40 sounds too much. But the market is crazy. Good defenders and fullbacks are priced at 60-70 millions. Jesus... if you buy three solid defenders it will cost you 180-200 millions....
Like N’Golo Kanté, Bakayoko chose Chelsea over Manchester United because of Conte — report from L’Equipe
It's not like United wanted them anyway

^LOL

Wasn't too good vs juve, doesn't have the defensive awareness. He is very good on the ball though.
He's not an actual DM, he's more of a strong box to box player with good dribbling for his position and decent passing. Don't think he would work for Utd when they already have Pogba and Herrera doing similar things.
^ Well fans argue that Pogba is better as CAM..especially when ever he underperforms that excuses of him playing deeper and defensive duty comes-up.

Kante-Bakayoko could be good mixture of power and skills to control midfield.

Well Lukaku just dropped a hint on Instagram recently. Posted a video of him playing pickup football at what looks like Cobham. Chelsea logo all around the pitch.
I think his still in USA
Yea, this was just on some US pitch in LA. Blame social media for baiting me lmao
It was during his spell at Chelsea it seems.

Here's sky sports transfer feed reporting it

'It depicts the Everton striker scoring in a five-a-side game during his spell at Chelsea'
No it was yesterday. He posted on Instagram twice about it.

We have been on the receiving end of some serious stick when it comes to how we treat our academy graduates but more of these youngsters still chose us over others like in this instance United. Can't say he chose us over United for the money so there's something we are definitely doing right. Also Kante chose Chelsea who were not in Europe and finished 10th over Clubs that were in the CL and Bakoyoko as morw or less chosen to join us over United going by what the media is portraying.

Huge respect to the board for how they managed our worse season last year and made signings to get us back where we belong. United and Liverpool have suffered the same experience in the past and have struggled to get back into the top 4. We actually won the title after a calamitous season. Board deserves respect for that

Dortmund have indicated that if they get an offer of 63m for Aubameyang they will have to sell.

Question: would u spend 63m to get Aubameyang or 75m+ to get Lukaku?

I'd take Aubameyang in a heartbeat. I know he's 28 and all but resale value shouldn't be our priority now we have Batshuayi and several academy/loan assets for that. Also Auba is ambidextrous and his link up play is way superior to Lukaku.
I don't know what Conte or Emenalo saw in Lukaku that they are willing to waste all that money on him . if the club let Costa go for less than 70m and buying Lukaku for higher then they are not serious. Aubameyang will offer us good deal , his body doesn't look like he is going to retire soon just like Ronaldo.
I'd take Lukaku , he is already well proven in the league and is still young , the man is a beast and will only improve , we need a target man , Lukaku one of the strongest players in the league
+3
I agree with DrogbaLampard...Lukaku is PL proven and improving year after year and much younger.

Abu is good...but 63 is huge risk on someone who is 28 and relies mostly on pace.

Also, I would not doubt on Conte's decision. especially after how he cleared deadwood like Oscar , Ivan and Mikel without caring about reputation. SAF dint rate Pogba , Jose dint rate Moses , Non of us rated Alonso , Milan thought Pirlo was done , People mocked at Luiz re-signing ...So let the man make decisions
+3
I will take Lukaku as well. From what I see Aubameyang' misses even more chances than Lukakau. Also I think Lukakau will be better against defensive sides which will happen most of the time in EPL. Aubameyang will be scary only against teams that open up like City/ Liverpool.
Lukaku gets too much critisim in this forum. He is no where as bad as people make him to be. Only strikers I will prefer over Lukaku are Lewandowski, Sanchez and to some extent Morata.
+3
Lewandowski & Sanchez I agree...Mortata is on-par right now and i dont think we separate both yet.
+1
Morata is just a different type of striker altogether. He's more well-rounded, but if you want physicality in a striker, Lukaku's by far and away the best out there.

He's the strongest striker there is on a high level and he's fast on top of that. More importantly, he's learned how to use those qualities well this season. That's why he scored so much more.
+1
Tbh I will be OK with any one of them and having thought about it more I think Lukaku represents a much less risk for the price as he's PL proven and barring injury will only get better plus he's our boy. I just hope we get him for under £60m
^bazinga: i rate lukaku and morata equal so i put to some extent
Guys if you see some wierd users with random posts that don't make any sense or context with anything.. press the report button. These wierd bots have somehow found a way to get onto the team pages and it's my mission to ban them all lol

As part of the deal that took Salah to Roma last summer, the Serie A side agreed to pay 10% of any future profit on a Salah sale to Chelsea.

With a profit margin of £27 million will be forthcoming for the Romans.
Chelsea will bring in a tidy £2.7 million from their former player’s arrival at Anfield.
Italian teams is good at picking up players at decent price and sell them more than double the amount. When we sold Salah, many people where praising the club for making a profit of 7m. Now Roma has shown how to make use of what they have to get what they want.
Appreantly deal was 34m and not 39m...so our profits may approx 2.2m
Most reports are saying 39 million. Still, 2.2M is peanuts for Abramovich
Still good buisness from Chelsea.
Anything that brings back some of the Torres money...
You guys are so good with making money.
Not like Porto and Monaco.P
how can ten percent of 39 be 2.2 Lol
