According to reports in Italy, Arsenal have identified Alexis Sanchez’s replacement. It is time to spend the chinese money I guess.
Arsenal wont sign anyone
Arsenal will sign a 17 year old.
Arsenal will sign a French teenager
Bamford has completed his move to Boro in a region of 6m pounds.

I believe we bought him for 1.5m pounds.
yes sold for 4 times the money we bought him.Good deal for both player and club.

This + Oscar deal gives us 66m to buy a good player in summer. Maybe James or Mahrez?
Hopefully it is Alexis or James will do just fine. I don't want Mahrez. He is good but nowhere near the likes of Alexis or James.
Alexis plz lol
+1
Arsenal wont sell Alexis to any club in PL..I'm 200% confident about that. He might end-up moving to Juve or Athletico in my opinion.

James is more realistic target
Bazinga: Arsenal sold RVP to ManU and we sold Peter Cech to Arsenal. These kind of deals look impossible until they really happen.
+3
I feel like when people talk about Chelsea's loan army they think more about what advantage it has to the team and forget the business implications. Roman just made 4.5 mil and quadrupled the investment he put into this kid and had fun doing it watching soccer. The guy is a genius.
+2
But i agree Alexis joining Juventus is the most likely thing to happen.
Apart from making some money...Loan army benefits in recent times are

Current team - Courtois , Moses , Ake , Chalobah

In-line for next season - Traore , Christensen , Pašalić , Musonda

If RLC & Kennedy can impress Conte...we could form B team with loan army and youth players to play league or FA cup.
I think we do have a chance of getting Alexis. He seems frustrated with Arsenal at times, and there are rumours that he isn't happy there. His contract is running out, and is a well known fact that Arsenal are stingy when it comes to money. And he joined Arsenal for London.

We offer him a chance to win trophies, retain his London lifestyle, a salary he deserves, a manager as hungry as him in Conte, and arguably better players to play alongside. We have the financial muscle to pay whatever Arsenal wants.

Hazard-Costa-Sanchez would be sweet, and he is definitely an upgrade on Pedro/Willian. And he can slide up top when Costa is unavailable.

I think we should go all out to sign him!
Rumors - Kenedy moving to Flamengo on loan until end of the season.
That report came from Costa's post on Kennedy's instagram but it's since emerged that the former was trolling.

I hope Kennedy stays.
With Ake back from loan where can we use Kennedy? Not sure if he can cover Moses on the right.
If he is used, I hope he gets used as a forward player.

Also, Ake has been brought back as cover for Luiz. So that does leave space for Kenedy as a backup to Alonso.
What Liquidator said. I think Kennedy can do a good job as back for Alonso ; he's played LB in the past as well as his preferred LAM position so I'd think that makes him ideal for the LWB.

I will trust the Don on this though.

i would love to have him here , his raw pace is incredible although he lacks the final product, and Conte can improve him
+1
He's worse than Willian.
+5
^^ Aptly said bro, his decision making is like that of a todler.
+2
Unreal pace and skill, but seems to lose his head in the final third. With a good coach he could become better though...
Always wondered if he would be a decent punt(since he would be relatively cheap) for a top-6 team, without ever really thinking it might actually happen!
he is really young though , he can improve the final 3rd he has raw pace and strength, he can be force to be reckon with in a couple of years
Probably buy and loan.
must be talking about traore, his pace is scary
I know we had a buy back clause till 2018 I believe when he moved to Aston Villa but not sure if the buy back clause is still in affect when he moved clubs again. I could see us triggering his clause to be a sub for MSN.
Just watched his highlights & I must say he's much smoother and direct than Willian - just raw speed and skill, Conte would use him well

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B6uWlZU6ewg
William does have the finishing now though too. Ever since last year that's been improved. Remember how frustrated we were when he couldn't finish? Sounds like this guy would ride the bench
Tianjin Quanjian's bid to sign Diego Costa from Chelsea has been scuppered by new rules in the Chinese Super League, says club owner Shu Yuhui.

Billionaire Shu added Costa and Paris St-Germain forward Cavani, 29, could have signed but their clubs did not want them to leave during the European season.

"We couldn't afford to wait half a season," he added.

http://www.bbc.com/sport/football/38648489
I thought the new rules had something to do with transfer fees, well its just that the teams can field only 3 foreign players. They way they are talking, doesnt sound like a big setback though. Im not sure how many super rich chinese clubs exist and if all of them can spend 100m on a single player.

This chinese league quality is just horse. Now they will have 3 top players and 8 sunday league players in the same XI. God help the quality of football there.
Chelsea striker trains with first team

http://www.bbc.com/sport/football/38655103

Glad to see him back before we head to Anfield.
This whole fiasco lasted less than a week.
Ah it's good that I didn't sell him from my Fantasy team :D
Apparently the Chinese league made new rule a month before the new season starts. 4 foreign players allowed to be fielded. A big troll to clubs trying to buy foreign stars lol
Seems similar to MLS rules where each team gets like 3 designated players who can be on higher wages. I guess this rule will keep the number of those ridiculous transfers to China to a minimum.
Its 3 according to some other report. IDK sounds like they still can spend on whoever they want as long as they dont play each game.
I love the new Juventus logo. The stuck up British media is rather typically castigating it.
#BronzeAgeSnobs.
+1
why did they change it , their old logo was awesome
+1
Why? smh
I like their old crest :(
I liked the old crest too, but also like the new logo.
51 points left for grabs, here's my expert analysis prediction for top4:

Chelsea - 97 (NEW record)
Spurs - 90
Liverpool - 85
Manchester United - 84
Arsenal - 83
Man City - 82

Man City is kind of obviously not gonna make it. Arsenal will complain about Europe and dig their hole b4 they jump in. Then, Arsene Wenger will step down, I hope, for their sake in the summer and that's about it. You're welcome.
+1
Too high of points to me
I dint kno Nostradomus is chelsea fan!
I don't see United in the top 4. They didn't even beat us in our most weakest state in the season.

Chelsea have the title, pretty much over now unless somehow you get a ton of injuries to Hazard, Pedro, Azpi, Kante, Alonso etc... Spurs will come close again but fall short.

Arsenal being Arsenal will be 4th as they always gear up in the last stage of the season and City will drop out of the top 4 and Pep will be humiliated.
+1
IMO we will finish with 90-92 points.

Chelsea -> 90-92
Liverpool -> 86-88
Spurs - 84-86
Arsenal - 83-84
Manchester - 81-83
Manchester - 78-81

I hope we dont look stupid end of the season if Livepool or Spurs manage to catch us and win it.
Skorm you know as well as any other pool or man utd fan that derby day Liverpool vs man Utd almost always has nothing to do with the injuries and state of teams and usually both teams are fired up for the fixture. Man Utd players really underestimated pool for that game and paid the price.
On the day, Pool players looked really fired up atleast for 60 minutes
That doesnt mean united can't win a few more games and get some sort of form going again.

Will be interesting to see if City can recover from the drubbing, they play spurs next. If they lose that too, they will be on a free fall with pressure mounting on Pep

I am most certainly predicting a Spurs collapse near the end of the season, isn't that one of their hallmarks?
Lol I really just want this to happen honestly..
Bazinga- I dont see it unless we lose to Hull and they beat us next week, otherwise we're jus too far ahead
The title is Chelsea's to lose, especially with the form they are in. I can't realistically seeing anyone catching them. United could very well continue their form and break into top 4. City could turn things around. Still plenty of games and points to be had. Momentum can shift easily for a team, from bad to good (such as Chelsea and United in the beginning of the season) or from good to bad (City). Anything can happen with so many top quality teams challenging for the title which is why I love this league!
Chelsea 89
Spurs 84
L'pool 78
Man U/ Arsenal 75
Man City - 74
Drogbalampard u gotta pick 1 btw ManU/Arsenal comeon now
@Abbabena - why do you think City will 'obviously' not make it?

The only thing obvious at this point is that the title is Chelsea's to lose. Other than that it is a dogfight my friend. All other teams have their issues.
Because currently Pep is visibly losing it, and from my experience when a manager can't even keep it together when addressing media, on the sidelines when we take a peek at him, it translates onto the pitch.

This is all based on intuition by the way, but after we spanked yall he seemed to want to become like Conte a little, idk long story short in my eyes City has already derailed..
chelsea 90ish win
liverpool 85ish
spurs/united 82ish
city 4rth
arsenal 5th.. and that will be what finally signs of wenger...ish
Be specific
thats the best i can do m8..ish
If United fail to make top 4 I will look back at those 4 consecutive draws we had around October and November because we dropped 10 massive points. Right now we're 5 points off section off 2nd place.

We have ourselves to blame so I can understand rival fans being sceptical of us finishing in the top 4
Not long ago people said we were one man(Costa) team...We have played two games without Costa and won both 3-0.

IMO getting Payet on loan for rest of the season would be a good move if Costa issue is not sorted by next week. Because Payet can be a great asset when it comes to set-piece and he could easily link-up with Hazard & Pedro to play in the front 3.

Thoughts?
I don't think this is a good idea. Payet is even more of a defensive liability, and I seriously doubt Conte would be amused by his refusal to play for West Ham anyways.

Keep Costa till the summer if we can. If the situation is untenable, we may have to either spend over the top, or bide our time and wait for someone like Morata in the summer.
There is no one who can replace Costa , he has every ability including defensive skills , we should try our best to keep Costa who has been arguably been the best player in the pl
Selling costa would be biggest mistake for you guys. These days it is very hard to find a striker who can score 20+ goals in epl because they are very expensive.

I would dare say that even players like ozil is replaceable but someone who can give you lots of goals is not.
We should try our best for Alexis Sanchez. Costa or not, he can take our team to the next level. I can see him becoming a total beast under Conte; even more so than he is now.
Costa is not going anywhere guys he never made any fuss about going. The man cant be bothered to speak English why would he even want to listen to Chinese or try to read it for that matter. If he's angling for a better contract there's nothing wrong with that players do that all the time. He's 28 going on 29 and he knows Chelsea don't do more than 1 year contract for over 30s so this is the prime time to get his big boost salary wise.

All the talk about China is media trying to destabilise us or his agent trying to better his contract. If we sold Oscar for 60m a player who barely festured then 80m for Costa is rubbish. If China ever came calling Marina will never negotiate for anything less than a world record transfer fee for our most potent Striker since DD.

We do noy need Payet..not even worth 2 sentences.
So you guys think there's truth to this costa stuff? Was there some new development? Didnt really sound credible when I was first hearing it. Why on Earth would Costa be trying to leave in the middle of the season?
Guys, I clearly said if Costa situation is not sorted in coming weeks. There wont be any smoke without fire and its very clear that der is a situation right now.

Ofcourse we dont sell him now...But, I think he would lose respect of Coach and players if what has been said it true. I just hope it wont impact his form and link-up with the team once he returns
SIF..exactly my thoughts. This whole non story lacked even the slightest logic to back it up. Same way media said Conte was to be sacked just bcos they saw Roman somewhere in the training ground. Instead of believing Conte who said he Roman came to discuss transfers most of us became terrified by media version. Same thing is happening now with Conte saying Costa is injured yet we are claiming "there's no smoke without fire". Can't we see that the media created this smoke and are fanning the embers to create a fire? Two people tell the most lies in this world; Politicians and Journalists.
Costa is back in training and will be back in the team, anything else can be discussed in May.
Bluff...I want to use this medium to request that u serenade us with one or ur beautiful poems about the season so far please.
