Ok so a very important classico game for Real Madrid and an in form Isco cant even play ahead of out of form Bale. Even when Bale is taken off, isco still doesnt get a chance to play this vital game despite being in a great form. Is he really better than Hazard like SIF claims? If he is why do Real Madrid want Hazard for a massive price when they cant afford to play a better player than him? And why would not Chelsea easily accept to give Hazard to Real for a better player + cash?
No way in hell is he better than Hazard. Isco us f*****g amazing though buy not Hazards level. Just because he played well against the last team in the league, doesn't mean he's better or even level with Eden.

Hazard will own most teams in la liga single handedly

Add Kroos, Modric, Marcelo etc to the mix and it will be proper damage
Kante deservedly won the PFA player of the year.
This year ballon d'or is pretty much open though. Messi has played superbly and scored tons of goals but barca will likely not win any major title. Ronaldo has not had that many goals this season. Higuain has hardly scored in Champions league. If griezmann can win champions league he might have a good shot. What do you think? Who is lmist likely to win?
Ronaldo will win CL and win Ballon d'or again
and this is exactly why the assessment for Ballon D'or is ridiculous. Why should winning something matter if the trophy is for the 'best player' which means the 'player who has contributed the most to his team' ?

Kante won the PFA players' player of the year! Congrats N'Golo!
+9
Well done N'golo! what a player. I like him as a person, doesnt go around social media posting things or saying bad things about player or club, I'm pretty sure he wouldnt have cared if he had lost it to someone else. His focus is on the game and how he can improve. Humble lad!
well deserved, he is like having 3 extra players on pitch.
Well earned, his been a beast all season. If you took him out of the equation, I think the team would probably have lost more games along the way. Brilliant player.

What a fairy tale for him btw. Went from Ligue 2 with Caen to Ligue 1, signed for Leicester and won the league. Moved to Chelsea to win the league for the second time and won the PFA Player of the Year. What a player.
We haven't won the league yet, Moe66!
he is immaculate in what he does for his team. wins the ball so casually, most times the players dont see him coming. he's tiny but you cant get the ball off him once he's won it. well deserved.

Messi with a truly iconic goal and celebration

What a match, glad Barca won but feel bad for Marcelo, such a good player worked his socks off.
+1
What a player.
+8
I can only imagine Marcelo and Neymar in Barca...they would probably be just as good as Dani and Messi

Messi is a beast!

Urghh so many things to watch. El Classico, POTY and LCS NA final...
LCS NA?
League of legends (video game) lmao. It's e-sports so kinda is a sport
Wanna address a few things:
1. Ake was amazing. Looks great for the future.
2. Hazard telling the "But he doesn't perform in big games" haters to f**k off.
3. The first half was a Mourinho-esque smash and grab. Sat back with no possession after 1-1, 1 attack and we get a goal, pretty much same in the second half as well.
4. I said this (in a very loud, angry voice to my TV) in the loss to Palace as well, if you f*****g leave before the game is over, don't ever come back. It's a Saturday what the f**k do you have to do, no work or school the following day. Fans were leaving early at 1-2 against Palace, and I find it awful that Spurs "fans" leave at 3-2 with 20 minutes to go.
+1
Told you. Arsenal in the final!
+1
Win-win mode activated for us. If we win we get FA cup. If We lose Arsenal keep Wenger.
+3
Wenger is staying regardless bro. Never a win win even if he leaves. We either win or lose
I know but it will covert some wenger out fans to wenger in and the clash between fans will continue throught next season :)
After this season I have no doubt Wenger staying will be good for us as well as other top teams who challenge for the title.
POTY announced in 5-6 hours, Kante still favorite to win.
Just wanna indulge more in our most fantastic winof the season yesterday. I know the second goal conceded was from an obvious weakness in our team which Spurs have exploited before but considering we played Ake and Azpi in a back 3 with Spurs attackes all tallerthan them we did incredibly well. Iirc they had nearly 12 corners and never conceded directly from any yet they conceded from our first corner.

I've read about how they dominated possession and the game but watching it I felt we were comfortable inspite of it. I think pundits should learn to distinguish between a team that decides to cede possession deliberately and one that actually is pressured to relinquish possession. We allowed them possession in safe areas so such stats cannot paint the true story.

Another impressive feat was how Ake and Batshuayi acquitted themselves with respectable performances.

I was genuinely scared for yesterday's match coming from our no show vs a plucky United but once again like after the Palace loss our lads rose up to the challenge against a title rival.

Ktbffh!!! Forza!!!
I have a bee in my bonnet. This is not particular to the Spurs fans, but the match going audience in the UK in general. Your team is playing well, and are down 3-2, and a majority of the Spurs fans walked out on the team. I understand traffic and crowds on the tube, but come on! If you are going for a Wembley game on a Saturday, surely you must plan things better.

I can only think that many of those are season ticket holders who don't realise what sort of privileged position they are in.
Firstly, it was at 4-2 and yes, traffic is a horrible issue. I am not sure how an individual fan can plan for 80k people causing traffic issues.
I get what you're saying but fans do have a life outside of football and do tend to have a pragmatic view of how things will go when their team is down. Staying back in hope rather than expectation, followed by traffic issues and getting stick from opposition supporters isn't something everyone would enjoy(especially, people who come with kids/families certainly woulldn't).
Wembley hasn't been too kind to Spurs fans this season. They played all their European games there so 'tis not the first time Spurs fans have been in Wembley this season
Obv they must have been reminded of the poor Europe form
@Suraj: The first shots of a swathe of people leaving were at 3-2, not 4-2. In any case, yes traffic is a horrible issue, but most people come on tubes and trains. There are plenty of tube stations around the stadium. From my experience there, most people end up crowding at pubs after the game anyways (winners, or losers).

Everyone has a life outside football. Like with most things, when you have too much of a good thing, people don't seem to value it.
Leaving just a few minutes earlier can get you back home hours earlier
+5
^personal experience, sums it up
@BearWithFish: Surely then, the same should apply when you are winning?
People do leave early when there team is winning
+3
@BearWithFish: I don't know what you're on about buddy. Yes, people leave, but 75% of the fanbase?
Most people would find it harder to put up with 2-3 hours of log-jam when they are already pissed off than doing so when they are happy. It's just human nature.

and most people end up crowding at pubs, post-game?(or did you mean pre-game?) I am not sure where you got that, but most people are in a hurry to get on the road/home post a match.

EDIT: I think you maybe confusing an away trip to Europe or something with Wembley?
@Most people would find it harder to put up with 2-3 hours of log-jam when they are already pissed off than doing so when they are happy. It's just human nature.

At 3-2, with 15 minutes to go? Wow. Don't get me wrong, I am sure Chelsea fans would likely do the same. It doesn't fit with me though. This has to be because these guys get to watch 30 games of their team through the year. In that case, the human nature argument stands I guess.
Ofcourse, Liquidator, if someone goes once in a lifetime(or a year or two), they are more likely to stick around(or definitely should) than these guys who have seen it all too many times and go 10-15 times a year.

Yes, from watching a cup semis at home, we do feel that they are in a privileged position but you have to see flipside argument as well. I personally wouldn't leave at 3-2, someone else who has seen it all too often might.

EDIT: If ever you needed another reason to leave early.

We dream of watching football as some perfect lovely spectacle but there's ugly sides to it too. Spurs and Chelsea fans leaving at same time? Absolute nightmare for parents. Safer, quicker exit if you leave early. I would think most people would rather be called a fake fan than get punched over it and reach home 2-3 hrs longer than usual after a game ends
