Having washed his hands of one set of interventionist owners Mark Hughes insists the Fulham owner Mohamed Al Fayed had every right to dress down his players after their 4-1 defeat by, funnily enough, Manchester City. Hughes's side have slid down the table and are without three first-choice strikers, with Andy Johnson the latest to break down.
