I know it's early, but ManuARE a bit concerning.
In what effing world is danny drinkwater worth 40m? Wow Leicester are getting carried away.
Inflated price, not needing to sell and they know chelsea are getting desperate
Lol Leicester can ask for whatever they want, its up to the other team to accept it or not
Because he is English and we are also desperate for players
Shay, in the same world where Kyle Walker is worth 50m?
or where Lukaku is worth £75m?

I'm really not surprised by these fees anymore.

First off, Lukaku is worth 75m. Secondly, Kyle Walker was bought from Man city so there's no justification on price tag there. I'm sorry I've just never seen anything from the waterboy that would make his tag rise about 25m...I understand the concept of supply and demand and the scenario Chelsea is in, perhaps Leicester aren't getting carried away but for once Chelsea are getting taken advantage of. I just cannot fathom the idea of the blues going after a player like him. They're following the trend of Barca signing Paulinho.
+1
Premier League Winners Medals:

Lukaku - 0
Walker - 0
Drinkwater - 1

The justification for whether a player is worth a certain fee is entirely subjective on the part of the buying club. If they're willing to pay £40m for him, he's worth £40m.

For the record I don't think Lukaku is worth £75m, but he was worth £75m to Utd and that is all that matters.

Same for Drinkwater, if Chelsea are willing to pay the fee, then that is their valuation.

+2
I disagree and feel a players price tag is more reflective of the impact said player has at a club and will have at a new club. However I'll side with you that it's completely subjective :D
Shay i don't think Lukaku is trully worth 75m. He should be in the 50m range
dont know what their drinking over in leicester
+1
lol lukaku's fee is inflated but he's 24 and proven in this league. he's a full international and starts for belgium. his price is closer to his actual valuation than 40 million for drinkwater, who isnt even playing for england.
+1
I disagree on whether the club pays for that figure then hes worth that

Kante shouldve been £50 mill at least

Same with Sanchez

Liverpool with benteke and carrol LOL

Signed Mane when he shouldve been more

I just think. PL transfers within two clubs is broken. Unless ur negotiating with us cos we sell anyone to our rivals piss cheap
There are not many strikers in the game that have the strength, speed, and directness that Lukaku has. He's a promising player with a proven track record of scoring goals. Nevermind, every page has had this conversation 5x already lol

Back to the original subject post, a player like Drinkwater being a target for chelsea is just nuts. I've always associated chelsea with strong players with good stature so I'm a bit taken back by the inquiry about him. Loftus-cheek was playing good the times when he got in games last season. They let him go out on loan and now they're trying to fill that void for some reason. He's got the physique and technical skill to slot in imo.
Without Messi and Suarez, this Barca team will struggle sooo much.

Madrid to dominate world football now?
Didnt Madrid dominated already for 2 years?
+8
More like without Messi and Iniesta, they look average. Madrid have spend well and turned their attention on signing some of the best young Spanish players. They already have a really good XI and now they are building for the future.

Barca on the other hand are out signing Paulinho for 40mil. That just says how the state of things are for them.
Liverpool might get some REAL cash on Coutinho now... But Barça just need to build something new, they have lived off their great team just a bit too long. The MSN was no tactic, just sheer talent. Now they have to reset their tactics and build a new team.
Barca can't build something new if they let go all there young talent and sign a 29 year old that no one wants for 40m.

I don't think there is a single Barca fan happy about that signing
Bye bye Gabriel 👋🏽
Hopefully it frees up wages and a foreign born spot so we can get VVD
where to?
Xgood bye bye your DP ;D
Shaymoose to Valencia
Gabriel is leaving before Jenko and Debuchy huh? hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
thats a long hmm
And I'm still pondering what this club is doing with its players...hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Jenks & Debuchy are probably harder to get rid of, nobody wants them.
+1
West Ham should just take Jenko, he did well for them
We should sell debuchy back to newcastle and loan out Jenko again before getting rid of Gabriel. At this point those iron wall dummies on the training pitch are more important to the team.
other than bellerin, who else do we really have for RB?
We have kolasinac, monreal, gibbs on the left
Oxlade-chamberlain can play right wing back.
WTF I didn't see this coming. But I guess w/ Kolas and Mustafi and our rising youngsta, he was gonna struggle to get time.
Niles, ox, Nelson
Finally...a vote to move the Transfer Deadline a week before season.

Woo!
+2
Never should've been after the start of the season in the first place. Season starts...that's your team. Also, they should open the window in the middle of June instead of July so clubs still have the same amount of time to do business and players still have enough holiday time after the season ends.
+2
as long as this applies for all euro teams im fine.. dont need another way to disadvantage the league.
it'll only be in the EPL...SO it'll be a big disadvantage to the EPL
The whole europe should be on board, otherwise it will be massive disadvantage to EPL.. Unless selling and buying is both stops before the season starts, even then its a disadvantage to the EPL.. as we all know EPL with the most money can outbid a lot of teams in europe, so what can happen teams will slow down the deals, wait till EPL out of transfer market and start the deals happening, so it has to be all europe together.. the only reasonable solution is to have transfer market stop inside EPL before season starts, but still be able to buy and sell with the rest of europe
the other domestic leagues don't all run at the same time so its going to disadvantage somebody to have a deadline fit with one specific league.

Either make the cut off universal for all clubs in all leagues and make the deadline prior to ANY league kicking off...

or

keep it as it is and the EPL clubs just have to suck it up and sort their stuff out early.
Premier League:
Start Date: Saturday, 13 August 2016
End Date: Sunday, 14 May 2017

La Liga:
Start Date: Saturday, 20 August 2016
End Date: 29 May 2017

Serie A:
Start: Saturday, 20 August 2016
End: Sunday, 29 May 2016

Bundesliga:
Start: Friday, 26 August 2016
End: Saturday, 20 May 2017

Ligue 1:
Start: Saturday, 13 August 2016
Date: Sunday, 21 May 2017

Champions League:
Group Stage starts: 13–14 September 2016
Final: Saturday, 03 June 2017

There is only a 2 week difference in the top leagues in Europe between start and end dates. There's really no major disadvantage and there honestly shouldn't be a problem with Uefa making the leagues conform to the same transfer window dates.

Wiki: "According to the rules, each national football association decides on the time (such as the dates) of the 'window' but it may not exceed 12 weeks. The second registration period occurs during the season and may not exceed four weeks."

IMO, the summer window should be middle of June to the middle of August. Two months during the summer so teams can actually do the majority of their business while keeping the month of January as it is.
+1
Best it stays the way it is..gives the managers a last chance to assess the strength of his squad.
I also dont have the problem with to stay the way it is
ox rumours true? why would we sell him?
1- Squad is too big
2- We can't possibly let go of three valuable players so Ox might leave as he wont sign new contract cause he wants to play in the middle and he is being used on the Left wing back. So board and wenger will take something than to let him go for free.
Ox is one of our best wide players, we should keep him. Even more so in the new 343 formation.

If we sell anyone, we should offload one of our potential strikers: Welbeck, Sanchez, Ozil, Lacazette, Giroud, Walcott and Iwobi is a bit much for three positions. And that's assuming Perez is gone.
Squad is too big with dead wood!
Similar situation to Alexis - inside final 12 months of current contract and not yet signed a new deal.

From his perspective, he will want to be playing more regularly in a favoured position rather than filling in at unorthodox wing-back positions as and when needed.

The club may sell from an economic standpoint - its better to get £35m now than £0 next year, if the player does not want to commit.

This, along with Alexis and Ozil, just underlines how inept the club management can be. Either they left the contracts to run down too long before starting new negotiations, or they started far enough in advance but just can't make any progress with new deals. In both cases it smacks of incompetence.
Shud hold onto him. This is our make it or break it season. If we do well we can buy anyone next season. We can also keep the performing players by giving them a salary hike. Selling him now will lead to a mass exodus in the next 2 years if we do not do well.
Ox may be in the same boat as Alexis and Ozil. Why tie yourself down to a sinking ship when you're not sure if the guys that can keep the boat afloat aren't sure what to do? Metaphor of course, not saying we are a sinking ship...yet.
Have guys seen Suarez's dive from earlier today? If diving had a prize, that would be a top contender.

As soon as the ref awarded the penalty he got up lol.
+5
the only goal was a dived penalty, stupid red card for ronaldo and beaten 3-1. lol. barca are shite now when you compare them with R madrid
+7
Suarez is an utter disgrace to the sport. In his career, he has consistently done disgraceful things that will embarrass most people around him. Only barca will keep hold of such vermin because it seems like nobody else wants to play for them... except spurs rejects such as paulinho's lol
+7
Highlight for me was watching Ramos trying to pick him up.

Doesn't Suarez have kids? I would be embarrassed knowing my family is watching in HD with replays from every possible angle.

"Daddy, why were you rolling on the floor like a bitch?"
+8
I wonder if Ronaldo's son asks him that 😂
DanTheGooner bro you need to change urself to a Madrid fan lmao

Whats with the Barca hate? They just signed Paulinho, feel for them
+11
lol now pundits saying its Man Utd's league to lose... after 1 GAME, fukk they useless
+7
Yeah I can't stand the pundits and their opinions. Usually I just switch off after the game so I don't have to hear the rubbish that comes out of their mouths.
Wait we haven't won the league already?
+1
If what the pundit said is true, then Huddersfield almost won the league
Why listen to the pundits even Mourinho said being at the top now means nothing.
same pundits said United/City for title last season....they go by signings and managers to make prediction which is understandable.

I think we will know fav. after 10 games not 1. Although we all know United and City look really strong and motivated to win league this season
+2
True that game 1 is only a mere glimpse at what's to come for the remainder of the season. However, you stack up the fact that ManU had the 2nd best defense last season (while adding 2 more defenders), they bolstered their attack in lukaku and advancing pogba further upfield with the inclusion of matic, Mkhitaryan (Bundesliga player of the season) has now had a full season in the premier league and is looking very sharp in preseason and vs west ham, and the opening 9 fixtures they have are very very attractive. United finished 6th last season because they couldn't score but that doesn't look like it will be the case this season. More importantly, it's Mou's 2nd season with United...they'll win the league and then fall apart next season :D
+4
^ Gotta sack Mou before his third season and then quickly re-sign him as first year >:D
+6
You gotta understand its their job to do that. People like listening to "league favorites" talks...
Gotta talk kolasinac now, looks like arsene got another 1, woulda paid 40m for him and it woulda been a bargain, can't wait till he's bombing up the left in the lwb role

totally tanking mahrez on both videos!
our 4-3 looking spectacular now.
+3
They were 3 nil down at home at half time . If they do that against one of the top sides. They will be might concede 7
^yeah but we were 10 man for more than 70 mins but its still not an excuse , we played some woeful football, the first 50 mins were like us under Jose's 3rd season
+3
They did make a very good comeback, but burley pretty much put on the brakes in the second half and had no desire to play anymore, if it were any of the top seven it would have been a route, that been said morata did looked very dangerous.
they were sitting back and countering , they did well anyway , huge result for them
