The times we are in, where a club like Celtic rejecting us. Struggling to get the likes of Zaha. At this rate we won't even compete with the mid table clubs that are earning good money with good managers building stronger teams.
Well they put 100mil price tag for Zaha, anyone would struggle to pay that for Zaha.. but I agree, the ownership and the board, just dont care to win.. winning comes from the very top, and its clearly lacking.
Vito Mannone coming up huge with a penalty save last night while I was supporting my home team. We scored in the 90th minute and VAR awarded the other team a penalty in 90+ stoppage time. Vito came up with a huuuge save! What a guy and we are lucky to have him here in Minnesota.

https://arseblog.news/2019/07/koscielny-refuses-to-join-arsenals-usa-pre-season-tour/

dont like it one bit.
Waiting for the explanation from Kos.
Club didn't have to put it like that in official website.
This club I tell you what. I can only hope it's Koscielny taking a stand that if arsenal don't find his replacement he's boycotting. f*****g legendary move if u ask me.
wow great start
at the moment Kos, looks in the wrong.. he is under contract, he wants to terminate contract, to become free agent so he can go and sign offered contract in League 1.. Arsenal wants to sell.. you under contract, you have to honor it.. just like Arsenal was honoring his contract, when he was injured and still was getting paid.. you want to leave so bad, pay out your contract and go, if the other club refuses to buy you..
+2
Shaymoose, how can you even defend this? You really think Kos cares who the club replaces him with after he leaves? He is getting old and probably wants to go for a good contract elsewhere before its too late. I understand it but it is still unprofessional
So far, based on the information leaked, Danipak is right. Kos wanted arsenal to release him so he could be free agent and sign for a club in France. However Arsenal seemingly want 10m for him, which in Kos's mind is outrageous since they have let Ospina go for 4m :D
For now, it is unbelievable from Kos to do such thing. He was always professional. And for this reason, I will not make any judgment as of yet and wait for Kos response.
wasn't it being floated that he wanted a move to Bordeaux? I say let him go in peace. He's probably on wages that were figured back when Real Madrid wanted him a few years ago.

Besides, a) ROB F--KIN HOLDING, and b) mustafi is not nearly as terrible as them makes him out to be (ya I said it, flame on).
Why let him go? he under contract, in order for him to leave, the clubs that interested in him need to pay up.. what kind of example it is, when your CAPTAIN refuses to show up for pre-season.. ridiculous.
@thewinningbridge, take my statement with a hint of sarcasm. I would find it absolutely crazy for someone to boycott their team for lack of finding a replacement for himself. It's unfortunate how we look more spineless year after year. I thought we'd improved a little bit. But our transfer woes and the player scenarios we've created are piss poor for a professional organization.

I see what you did there :D maybe add a few more uuuu
With our 'limited budget' do we really need a winger this window? Remember we have reiss nelson who did very well in the bundesliga last season. Iwobi, we know what we get with him. We desperately need the defense to take priority.
next season will be another wasteful season. Please end next season already
Top 4 last year looks to remain the same this year in terms of overall team quality.
Nelson did okay last season but you should still be looking to bring in more quality.

I feel a lot of people got carried away with the hype regarding English players in the Bundesliga with Sancho being so influential for Dortmund. Nelson had a real purple patch in the first 10 games so the comparisons were inevitable but couldn't maintain the form for the rest of the season. By no means a bad campaign for him but no more than a squad player for you guys right now in my eyes.
Arsenal will just have to make due with Nelson and Mhki on the right. Nelson should be given chance because honestly when is a young player every truly ready? You just have to give them a run of games and see how they do. It won't hurt. Never thought Sancho would do so well in the Bundesliga and not to mention I never heard of Alli or Kane before they where given a chance at Spurs. Gotta let the kid play first. The priority for Arsenal should be a starting CB with Sokratis because Mustafi is beyond bad. And if the club has anything left get another MF to replace Ramsey, even if its on a loan deal.

Oddshot, Maitland-niles and Iwobi are good players that have started to make a name for themselves coming into age. I don't see why he's not an option.

Moe, I forgot about replacing Ramsey. Dang we are short in many positions.
Not saying Nelson isn't a good player mate or an option for that matter I just feel in order to make a step up from last season Arsenal may need to buy more established quality for a starting role.

Maitland Niles and Iwobi are both in the same bracket as him, although both great players with a lot of potential for you guys, probably aren't quite at the level to be making a dramatic difference to the first team just yet. I do however think that given time all 3 will turn out to be quality given more development over the next few seasons.

I feel it all comes down to what the target is for next season. For me, champions League football should be top priority and given the state of both Chelsea and United atm if you were to buy established quality and make a viable push you would definitely be the favourites for it therefore unfortunately relegating the likes of Maitland Niles, Nelson and Iwobi to squad players for the time being.

we need defenders this window
And our woeful selling fee (if applicable) continues...ospina out to Napoli for a whopping 4mil. When will Arsenal stop ruining the value of our players?
he had only 1 year left on his contract. I believe that had a part to play. But generally we are awful at selling players.
Heard some dude who could not get into Bournemouth was sold to Aston Villa for 20m.
And we seem not to be able to move Elneny who is decent for a good fee on.
The fact that the new season is around the corner and we not strengthening the areas we need tells me we're gonna have another bad season. Get the players early so they can train together -.-.
^at some point, we will be happy of any signing in deadline day
Napoli low-key has made some big moves this summer. i hear they have acquired Manolas (CB), Hirving Lozano(RW), and have taken James Rodriguez(CAM) on loan.
Worrying also is that we are @ this point relying on Emmy Martinez as our #2. I believe he's earned his chance bc he's been here for so long, but for our club to let both #2s [cech/ospina] go @the same time...f**k.
Try not to be all doom and gloom guys, you guys will be back to your best at some point, if Liverpool can do it after all those years so can you, don't give up hope something will change for the better.
Good one lol tell your city owner to get one of his cousins to take over
They didn't quite shoot themselves in the foot letting their stars go for free. We have lost unrecoverable funds b/c of mismanagement in players. It's set us up for a long struggle to get competitive in the market with a silent owner.
+2
^ I agree, one of the only things I can see saving you guys and making you competitive besides one of our owners cousins is a very good manager who could get average players to play beyond their capabilities, someone like Klopp and there is not of managers like Klopp.
True. I would hate to send the trend of our stars leaving in order to fund 2-3 sub par players to fill in weak positions again. Kroenke needs to step up and put some of that cheese from his little mustache into the club.
It has been reported that we are interested in DANI CEBALLOS on loan from Real Madrid. Everybody seems to be excited about it, however I based on one video from YouTube am extremely disappointed. I mean these videos should make you look good, but this video made him look so ordinary.
The 18 year old Brazilian youngster look much better in the video!!

Can only imagine the first day for our new signing at the training ground. Everybody: who the f**k is this guy?
