Arsene's hilarious in the pre-sunderland video. Talks about the pizza throwing incident with SIF lol good stuff
Kos is injured for at least another month and since his injury is ongoing, even when he is back he won't play as much as he used to.

But good news is Wilshere will miss the Sunderland match due to suspension. Should be a right spanking, I'm going with 3-0
Filsuf made an awesome point about Arsenal's fluency that I HAVE to endorse. I like these kind of discussions because we all can actually see it improving as the season progresses just like the squad does and Wenger puts his everything into it based off of what I have always seen which makes it super interesting and fun once we attain that proper momentum.

He doesn't have the opportunity to rotate frequently because we haven't reached the level yet this season where the majority of the squad defend and attack with quality regardless of rotation. They are key players with experience that know what it takes like Sanchez, Welbeck, Diaby, Theo, Merts and Debuchy (I really miss him in the squad right now) but what i'm extremely pleased about is seeing Gibbs finally reaching that level of maturity too. He's the key as long as he stays fit imo to assist in unlocking the rest of the young gunz' top form because he has a big influence on that fluency that I also want to add value to... as a fan of course :)

Once players like Campbell, the Ox, Jack, Ramsey, Chambers, Gnabry and Bellerin start to catch the same vibe Gibbs is flowing with then we'll certainly see a top Arsenal team. Rotation is very difficult with the system we play if we can't reach that level... definitely hope Nov is the month it happens, it's my fav month of the yr too :D

It amazing to see Gibbs getting his recognition, he's got so much quality and is a leader in this team for me. He always puts in 100%, gotta appreciate that. Hopefully the other lads can take inspiration from him and express it onto the pitch like he does.
+2
When Gibbs is locked in defensively he is a beast, but when he tries to be more attacking he tends to get caught out of position a lot.

He still needs to improve is final ball and his positioning in attack but certainly a key player for us
That video of the Ox up there talking with Laurent is hilarious

Lol. When Kos says fact, it actually sounds like he's saying f**k! Hahaha

Great news, Walcott to return next week against Burnley, hopefully it's a home game so he gets the best welcoming possible. Also if Diaby ever did return our team would look unbelievable.

Szchesny
Chambers Mert Kos Gibbs
Diaby Ramsey
Walcott Cazorla Sanchez
Welbeck

Hopefully we can see this team I'm the coming weeks.
good... not unbelievable
Well it definitely has the potential.
Diaby will stub a toe and break his leg.
+1
Nah, he'll prick his finger on a blade of grass thus getting an ACL injury.

http://www.arsenalreport.com/ix/misfortune-myth-or-neglect-arsenals-injury-problems-investigated/

This is an old article investigating Arsenal's injury paradox. Really insightful article thoroughly examining the problem statistically and holistically. I have to accept his theory, hands down.
Read that article a while back...This is the reason every time people bring up injuries i tell them look no further than the approaches coaches of other teams use against us..
In truth imo,the main reason for our injuries is bad tackles from opposition teams and poor rotation by wenger, look how long it takes him to make a substitution, most times a sub is only made when our player is injured, wenger does not rest the players enough. Tell me what is the purpose of having a big squad like ours and players keep warming the bench, we use our starters against big teams and against small teams, other top clubs mix it up, u can always predict our line up down to a Tee, hardly is there any surprise.

Did you read the article Philosophy? It suggests that neither possession-based football (I'm assuming that's why we get "bad tackles" while others don't) nor number of games played ("rotation") are likely to be the real reason. They are just stats of course, but the great consistency with which Arsenal players get injured points to deeper problems.

In the end the article does say something about a "perfect storm", but even perfect storms don't last that long. All the injury susceptibility stems from some deficiency in the training regime or the medical department imo, and this especially applies to youth. It's hard to think of AFC academy products who haven't sustained a seriously long-term injury before they are 24.
@Philosophy, I can name the lineups of most of the major teams in the world each week if you like. There's a reason for that, consistency. Doesn't how good the players are, the managers will have their preferred lineup or "backbone" if you will and make at most, 2 maybe sometimes 3 changes to this setup, usually determined by player fitness.

Let's talk Europa for a bit

I think England has a good chance of winning it. English teams are dominating their groups and tbf i think one of the UCl teams will end up in Europa, Man city or Liverpool..This is great next season we could see 5 English teams in the UCL
+1
There cannot be more than 4 English teams in the UCL, under any circumstance, under the current rules.
we can still have arsenal, utd pool and soton plus chelsea from russia and city from uae amirite?
EPL teams usually dominate their groups in the EL. They tank around the round of 16. Revisit come February
Wonder how Jenkinson is feeling these days lol
You know if we plan to use Chambers more as a Cb than Rb in the future. CJ still has a big chance with us. Right now his main competition is Bellerin
i love the idea of chambers in the middle and CJ/bellering fighting for the RB spot.

hell this is arsenal, they dont have to fight for the spot. one of them will somehow injures himself to accommodate the other one and when the 2nd player recovers, it's time for the first player to injures hmself. that's how we do. that's how arsenal work! lol
Best Jersey Ad I've seen so far. This is sick
