There's absolutely no way of making top 4. Only way to UCL is through winning Europa. Honestly we're the second best team on paper in that tournament behind atletico and hope we win it. Unfortunately, we got Arsene so anything can happen........
.
I could still see us being beaten by Lazio or Leipzig if we get passed Milan and dodge Athletico and Dortmund. 2nd on paper with our first team.
+1
Ooooospina!
Bellerin mustafi koscielny nacho
Wilshere xhaka
Ramsey ozil kolasinac
Aubameyang

Thoughts?
we might see welbeck instead of Kolasinac.
Kolasinac on the wing? is Mkhitaryan un-eligible?

everything is fine, but for attack would go:

Ramsey - Ozil - Mkhi
--------Auba-----------

Iwobi is getting ahead of himself and needs to know he's still a midtable to lower level team player with lots of potential though. He needs to work harder.
Based on form welbeck cannot play. He's been so rubbish. I'm opting for kolasinac on the wing for extra coverage on walker. Micki cannot play. Iwobi came off with a muscle injury in tow with his poor performance. Only thing I see is elneny could play alongside xhaka and have wilshere in for kolasinac. It's a tough one.
spider, we probably will see that based on wengers comparability with that line up as we've seen it before. Whoever is out there cannot let walker and bernardo Silva have time and space.
Could we do a different type of system like this?

Gk
Back Four
Elneny
Jack Xhaxa
Ramsey PAE Ozil with ramsey and ozil sitting behind PAE?
I'm not sure that offers any sort of width for us to get out. That also means Ozil drifts centrally and there's a huge gap leaving nacho exposed. perhaps a 3-5-1-1

Ospina
mustafi koscielny nacho
Bellerin Ramsey Wilshere xhaka kolasinac
ozil
Aubameyang

They've got the best midfield in the league. We had better do our best to contain that and keep them passing between their back line.
So liverpool took the second spot.

let's see how Mou reacts tomorrow :D single bus or double bus! :D

Alright so we got AC Milan next round. Not bad but we've gotta get up for this s**t. Gotta field a stronger team from here on out. Forget the league.
+1
Perfect time to play them, they have soo many big games vs rivals coming up in the league. Their focus on the EL may drop
+1
All that s**t doesn't matter though. Wenger is a specialist at bottling up the easiest games.
+3
^ milan will never be easy. But Wenger is a genius in bottling everything so I will not be surprise if we lose. But im thrilled we draw them because it will be an exciting game, rather than last year EL final, meh ...

Xgoon, or they can focus more on EL and forget about the league like us.
+1
If not mistaken the last encounter was 0:4 (A) and 3:0 (H)
+2
When Milan was actually good
+3
I'd call it a good draw. We didn't get the main contenders like Atletico Madrid, Borussia, etc. and we avoided a trip to Russia.

Milan is currently 7th in Serie A, but guess what? We're 6th in EPL. Certainly not an easy draw especially given the form we're in. Strongest possible team is a must.

I thought the lineup for last night was good enough, it's not like Wenger put a very weak side out.

The players just didn't show up. Its psychological as well as technical and it seems that our guys are not always on their game, mentally.
+1
I think it's a good match. We needed a side that will remind us we still have to fight hard. The problem with the last matchup was after we beat them away they guys expected them to roll over.

I also don't blame wenger cause even before the game i wanted a b team to play. Even after i saw the lineup i felt he could have included Nelson as well
+1
What i didnt like is that our midfield lost, where were pretty experienced players..
I don’t get Maitland Niles. He’s supposed to be a central midfielder but looks better as a wing back
I would say cause its less pressure as a wing back oppose to midfield for a young breaking through player.. It will be interesting to see how he will come back from it
I don’t think it’s a problem just a rough patch

Iwobi on the other hand needs to go out on loan. He’s bit s**t for over a year now
There's no way we can move forward fielding chambers and holding as cb and elneny and amn in mid. There's no experience and leadership in that core. Wilshere had a howler playing further central. Never thought I'd say this but we really need Ramsey back fit.
Ramsey is back fit for tomorrow along with ozil

Dani is right there is so much less pressure on the wings than in midfield. He needed Elneny to take charge. For me midfield is the toughest position on the pitch
facing Milan is not that bad. Lyon, Liepzig, Dortmund, Atletico and Lazio are tougher, so could have been worse.
Jack was the only intelligent player on the pitch yesterday but he got burned out in the 2nd half. All others were clueless headless chickens.
This can never be learned in training
+2
I thought jack was s**t...

Only decent player was El Neny and then Xhaka
+2
ye Jack wasnt himself
What I meant is that all of them, except Jack, are average players, not thinkers, who can look for a smart play. Just passing ball around and making useless runs. Very mediocre squad these days with soon more of a dead wood, than ever before.
Iwobi has the brain and creativity. His decision and tekkers are what's been lacking for quite some time now. He actually had a few good plays throughout the game passing and moving but was overshadowed by all the other mistakes.
Right when you'd think we'll avoid the annual February embarrassment this year.

Wow, Arsenal this low?!
Players are just happy that they are going through, not caring that they are losing at home against 5th team of sweden?!
+1
you guys going to win the cup final now
like @Bluff said in pl forum haha classic Arsenal
Mikhy and Abu eligible to play finals right? if yes it will be good game 50-50 chances
Micki is not...
+1
^Why is that?
he played for MU earlier in the comp
^ yes he is cup tied
wait, he's cup tied because he played in the euro supercup (cant remember whats it's called) final?
you mean in the cup that he won for you? and that was the only way how you could get to the Champions League?
Our defense can't contain this that little team and we hope to win Europa League? No Europe next season.
It is our b team...
+2
ye look who played in CB..
Welbeck will be sold this summer surely. Unless he do some crazy ass s**t and wins us Europa :D
+1
who would buy him?
sunderland?
He'd b perfect at Newcastle
Liverpool! they are always in for english players
Nah mate, he'll probably slip and tackle one of our forwards in training.
liverpool and Newcastle aint that stoopid
left us for more playing time he said, smh.
That's a boy Saed! Still playing poorly as a whole, but that goal changed momentum in our favor.
