Club is sick. I thought laying off Koster was a big mistake, and I still do. We haven't improved with Daum at all, except just maybe a bit defensively. But at a cost of losing nearly all of our creativity and will to push forward. I'd be surprised if we ended in the top 3 this season, even though we have a team to compete for the title.
I also keep being amazed at how we spend on attacking players when we have enough already, and not on any sort of good full-back when we clearly need one. What the hell is that all about? With one good left or right back, who has the ability to bomb forward when we're in possession and is reliable in defence, our team would make a massive leap forward. It would offer us much more chances in attack, while finally having a stabler defence.

Rumours are we're interested in signing Victor Vázquez from Barça. His pass, skill and shot would be great to add to our squad.
Confirmed! Awesome; the new board is really showing they're ambitious, and attracting the right players too.
If Stijn Stijnen doesn't move to a big club after this season (I hope he doesn't for Brugge's sake), then I wonder if some managers are truly blind. Wenger for example is a great coach, but he should've bought a quality goalie ages ago. Stijnen is a ton better than all Arsenal keepers combined. And there are quite a few good goalies who are just as good as he is in Europe.
It's quite disgusting to see how Brugge was 'welcomed' by Valencia at their arrival, during the stay there and during the game itself.
When the players landed, they had to wait for hours on their luggage, despite other people on the plane getting it in time. Throughout their stay, people were unfriendly to them, even to the point the hotel forgot plates for the players' supper...
And at the game, they were pestered by, no not the Valencia players, who played fairly and very well, but by the ball boys and the fans. Fans threw stuff to our goalie (who was easily the man of the match) all the time. The ball boys refused to throw the ball to us for a throw-out in the final minutes for about a whole minute, and when they did, they immediately threw a second one on the pitch to annoy and disrupt Brugge's final chance to attack.
Disgusting behaviour, which taints Valencia's victory.

Club is playing amazingly well after 2 seasons of dreadful football. Our new coach Adrie Koster (ex-Ajax) turns a lame defence and meek attack into a well-oiled machine with just 2 real changes: a (classic Ajax) 4-3-3 and 2 different defenders.
That, and Ivan Perisic. Although you could even argue there's only one new defender in the team - at a time. Hoefkens and Donk haven't played together much.
Still, it's nice to go to the stadium again.

If we keep our squad together and get a decent right back, we do have a chance to really compete for the title next season.
