How was my boy Thibaut?
Too bad... We came really close to the play-offs.
We'll be there for the 2014 World Cup though. I'm sure of it!

Bah, it's Leekens' fault. People keep quiet about him, but if you can not come up with any sort of tactic to win against Austria or even Azerbaijan, you're not good enough to lead our team. We have the potential to be in the top 10, maybe even the top 5 in the world, and we can't even qualify for the friggin' EC. And he DARES to say this wasn't a failure. Then what the hell did we witness? Should we be happy with that third spot? Christ man. It was a failure, and it is on your account.
I don't understand how he keeps sticking with Ciman either: that guy's positioning is the worst I've ever seen on international level for a right-back. He's made the same mistakes over and over again, with Club Brugge, Standard and Belgium, but he still gets a place in the squad?! The first two German goals yesterday were his fault. Kompany was constantly trying to cover for him while keeping his own man in check. Obviously not even Kompany can mark two or three players, with Ciman somewhere walking back to his left-back position, giving away chances.
And he's not the only bad player Leekens keeps selecting. Remember the 4-4 against Austria? Why was Bailly in goal, when he was dreadful for more than a year at Mönchengladbach? Every single Austrian goal could've been avoided with a decent keeper like Proto, Courtois, Mignolet or Gillet.
Anyway, I don't think we would've failed in what was an easy task if a decent coach managed Belgium.

De Laet isn't good enough, we have at least ten players who are better than him in our defence. DVB was suspended.
So close!! So close to the Euro 2012 (although the play-offs will be a major obstacle).
C'mon guys!! Make us dream against Germany!

Echt eh. GVD Leekens, leert ne keer een strategisch planneke te maken, en een back-up plan als het ni werkt.

Thibaut is great, probably even better than the already excellent Simon Mignolet. But like Djempi said, Simon is doing great at Belgium, he's young too, and changing keepers isn't good when the keeper is doing well.
Besides, Courtois said he's happy to be the second GK for Belgium.
